I checked 4 different furniture stores, when looking for a new couch, and decided to purchase from Ashley. There were sufficient options of the type of couch I wanted, and at a decent price for decent quality.Our salesperson, Frank S, was good to work with-- polite, engaging, and able to listen to what I wanted, as well as make helpful suggestions. He helped turn the furniture over. So my husband could inspect its build/structure, and answered multiple other concerns. I liked that the 5 year warranty would be in place even were the store to close ( thats not anticipated!). I could wish for more color choices, but colors in bland or black/gray/white tones seem to be the trend currently. Overall, a professional feel to the experience, without the really high-end prices 🙂

We moved into our new house today and our older dresser broke while we were preparing it to move. We went to a couple of furniture stores before stopping at Ashley and werent happy with anything we were seeing, either we didnt like how it looked or didnt feel it had the value for the price they were asking. When we arrive at Ashley Jay met us at the door, smiling and friendly. He was beyond wonderful and helped us find the perfect dresser without making us feel pressured. Because of Jay, Ashley Home Store will be our first stop when we need new furniture in the future.

If I could give it a zero I would. was told multiple times my furniture would be wrapped and it wasnt. Now that I got it home its damaged and they are pretending like I dont even exist. charged me for a warranty she implied was free.

Nate was by far one of the best salesman I have encountered at a furniture store. He was the perfect balance of helpful without hovering over us while we shopped like some sales reps do. He was willing to give my wife and I ideas that were outside of what was available on the sales floor and was very knowledgeable about the products we were interested in. We appreciated his honesty about how long our furniture would take to arrive and we were happy with with final price of our sale. I was excited to see Ashley Home Store in Kalamazoo. I am well of aware of this companies furnishings (have several pieces-still, decades later). Jays greeting came across quite genuine and that was refreshing to me. He assisted me but wasnt over-bearing. I went in there to gather ideas for furnishing my home and my business. Jay was there to answer my questions and help narrow my search (loved it). I left making a small purchase but have every intention on going back to finish what I started.Side note: going above and beyond now a days seems archaic but happily Id like to say not these folks. I unknowingly created a small situation for myself which could have resulted in damaging my purchase. The owner over heard and stepped in, saving the day! Truly grateful.

I saw an ad online that they were having a sale, so I looked. I found an item I’d been looking for at a really good price. I drove down there and was greeted nicely at the door. I said I wanted to look around first, so a sales associate did not lurk nearby. When I found what I wanted, checked the quality and was ready to make the purchase I let them know that I was ready. A sales associate came over and we started the paperwork. The price was higher than in the ad by the associate found the ad and gave me the sale price. I noticed they had a nice military display and was asked if I was a veteran. I am, so on top of the sale price, I got free delivery and assembly, a super cool challenge coin, and I got to ring the gong. When I did all the associates in the store came over and thanked me for my service. Will I shop there again. Hell yes! Really nice people.

Idk. I really liked the couch I chose and I understand that since Covid things have been hard BUT I order my couch in MAY and was told 3-4 months. It’s September. Everytime I call for an update the dates get pushed back. Now I’m looking into late October or late November. It’s just annoying. Living room has been without a couch and I was hoping to get it before fall semester started. I just want my couch already! I almost just canceled but I waited this long already.

My partner and I had an excellent experience at Ashley Furniture in Kalamazoo. Our salesperson Jay is phenomenal. He has years of experience and he is able to answer any question you may have. From showing and explaining to us how the cushions of the couch we ordered are built to giving us a little history lesson about the furniture industry in our area, he has a thorough answer to every question. He’s very considerate and he’s not pushy. He also made sure to get us the best price available. We went to six different furniture stores and sat on just about every couch in the Kalamazoo area, and none of them compared to Ashley. We are very satisfied and will definitely be returning next time we need furniture. And one last big shout out to Jay for being a true professional through the whole process, he’s a big part of the reason we are so happy with our decision to buy from Ashley.

After having an aweful experience with a previous furniture store that told me three different delivery dates and then cancelled my order with no refund, shopping at Ashleys off of West Main in Kalamazoo was an absolute blessing.I was very nicely greeted by Ashleys associate, Jay. Jay asked what I was in looking for and then showed me some great options. I told him my situation and hesitation with purchasing another sectional. He sympathized with me and assured me actual follow through with the sectional. Jay was very positive and informative, making sure to show the sectionals that checked off everything on my list. Jay never made me feel pressured or made me feel the need to make a decision that day which was so appreciated!Then when I purchased the sectional, Jay was very efficient and made the process fun! He even remembered all of the drama I went through with the last place and got me a small credit for going through what I did. I felt so valued and heard and had an absolutely amazing experience. On top of all that, Jay followed through and has been keeping me updated on the delivery status of my sectional.Hands down would recommend getting furniture from Ashleys, I definitely plan to purchase more items from them in the future. But do yourself a favor and ask for Jays assistance! Hes positive, supportive, easy going, and most importantly he follows through.

Laid back environment. Great service!^ My first review with 5 stars.I had a great time while in the store. Our sales associate told me our furniture was on sale for 15% off and he was even able to get is 5% off that sale price! It sounded great. The next day I looked the furniture set up online to show my Sister and seen the same set at that store for hundreds less online than my 20% off deal! The 15% off sale price that we were shown at the store was the original price. I took a screen shot to show my Husband. He messaged he associate and was told to call the store and settle it there. I assumed wed have to show proof, which it was requested and I didnt mind. The woman who took my call cut me off while I was speaking about my find and questioning how I found it. She was in total disbelief that it was their store. It was almost to the point I thought Id have to send a screen shot of my browsing history. I dont mind spending my money on good quality furniture but I do mind being lied too and then treated like a liar. Not cool and not going back.
