Revised review: store experience - Susan was great!! Great price on a great mattress!! Highly recommend this location. My mother and father in law also got there mattress here and they recommended Susan to us.Delivery experience - 1 Star!!!! The bed was to be delivered 3/12. Between 8-8 and it’s 8:30 pm and we have no bed. I called in the morning to verify I was on the delivery for the day and was told I was. I called again at 7:15 pm and was also told again I was still on the route. No one every called me to let me know that my delivery was not going to make it. Horrible delivery service!!! Will update this review when I get the bed.... if I don’t cancel the order.

My wife and I had a great experience shopping at this location. We have been shopping for mattresses for a while and finally arrived here. Susan greeted us with courtesy and allowed us to take our time to think things through. She really took the time to give us personal space to discuss as this was a big investment for us to make. We had been randomly pricing beds for almost a week. We walked into this Mattress One location with a budget and knowing what we wanted. The store was fresh and clean. ****WARNING**** We went to Mattress 1 One on Katy Freeway on December 2 and purchase a mattress and adjustable bed frame. The size we wanted had to be ordered and was told it would be delivered on December 14. We received a call on December 9 from the company’s main office in Orlando Florida stating that due to the recent Chapter 7 bankruptcy they would not be delivering our mattress and bed frame. They also stated they would not be refunding the money and we would have to dispute the transaction with our bank. A search on the internet revealed that Mattress 1 One filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April of 2019 and as of December 5 a petition was files and granted to convert the Chapter 11 bankruptcy to Chapter 7. So unless we are successful in recovering our money through our bank we are basically screwed out of our money.

Went and purchased a mattress and adjustable frame from here just before Thanksgiving 2016. The sales person, Chris, was a great help in both pointing me in the direction of what I was looking for as well as offering alternatives at different price points. The transaction was smooth and easy to setup a delivery. Very pleased with the service and knowledge of Chris in helping me make up my mind. Would recommend you do verify what is being delivered and setup before letting the crew leave as they brought in the wrong frame and had to take it back to the truck and get the correct one when I noticed the flub. Overall a solid transaction and I have enjoyed my bed ever since.

Bryant helped us, we got a queen sealy memory foam with an adjustable base and we love it. The store was very well kept and Bryant was very helpful and ran us through every small detail of all the beds and we finally found the one we were looking for! Definitely the best place to stop if you’re looking for a new mattress!

My wife and I showed up to the first mattress store we saw. We walked in and was greeted by two wonderful employees Jared and Chris G who helped us on picking the right bed for us. They introduced us to the tallow and we love the way it fills. They are so friendly and nice another couple walked in and they were helped out immediately. Over all store was nice and clean and they were very helpful to us.

Our trip to this location was great. Christian was very helpful and took the time to explain each mattress and helped us narrow down our search to just a few so it was not so daunting. He was not pushy and left us alone to make our own decision. We ended up purchasing a mattress one that he had suggested of 2. He was knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

We got to Mattress One at 10:30. Saw the open sign but checked maps. It said they opened at 11:00 so we ate some breakfast and came back around 11:15. Still not open despite the lit up Open sign above the door. The hours listed on the door says 12:00. No problem. We wasted a little more time and returned at 12:10. Door still locked. We hung around for 5 minutes. No sign of life. We tried to call. Busy signal.

I read the reviews before going in not expecting much but was very surprised by the service I received. Alexis was perfect in ever sense of the words customer service. Went in just looking and came out with two mattresses. Biggest pleasure was feeling free to look around and explore MY options and not feeling pressured into purchasing the high end beds. The deals are great and the beds are even better.

After 3 months review: Never received the tax refund as promised to close the deal. Wont reply to emails after getting no tax refund. Do not be fooled about the tax refund because they dont know what their doing. Felt scammed. They will say anything to let you buy it. Product is good and delivery by the way. I would recommend a sign on the back of the building because I have driven by a million times going to other business in the shopping strip, but did not know Mattress 1 was there.Shopping experience- Dominique and Josh both helped us out. They were both knowledgeable and patient. We ended up spending more than we originally wanted, but we are happy with our mattress and adjustable base choice so far. (We have only had the mattress for 2 days though...) I would rate the overall experience high.And then theres Delivery- We had the same high expectations for delivery after our in store experience. However, the delivery did NOT meet our expectations at all. We felt as though we, the customers, inconvenienced the drivers. After speaking with both Josh and Dominique, we were disappointed with their responses (lots of excuses and salesperson talk.) We were extremely clear on when to deliver and they showed up at our door without a phone call. We rescheduled for after 6 on Friday and once again were extremely clear about receiving a phone call and the date and time and once again, they tried to deliver at 1 pm! Then, they wanted to reschedule AGAIN! At this point, I had to try extremely hard to convince my husband not the cancel the order. They finally came back at 5 on Friday and set the bed up. They were not very friendly and the left a mess in our bedroom- packaging all over the place and the lights under the base are not working properly. Also, the spare remote looks used (makes me wonder if the base is used as well...) so we will need to call and get a replacement. Hopefully, that is not a big ordeal...The store experience and the delivery experience do not match. The positive experience should carry through all the way to delivery, not stop after you have paid!

I was so excited about our purchase earlier this year! Finally purchased our first new mattress set!! However, it all came tumbling down when we tried to exchange it! We had went to a Queen from a king this time. We were NEVER TOLD that if we were not happy... that we could not go back to a king! We had spent thousands on a mattress my husband and I were sleeping on top of each other on nightly! Our backs were in so much pain! We were miserable! Still after calling several times, they refused to trade our mattress up! We were extended an offer to buy a King in another brand! Of course a much more expensive brand and we had to pay another $1500!!! Also, we originally bought an adjustable base/ memory foam set...the offer was for a coil bed...WITHOUT THE BASE!!! Please save yourself the headache!! DO NOT do business with this place!!!

Im a first time buyer. I was looking for the black Friday sale so I chose the Bed minister plush pillow top. Josh provided an excellent service to me. I definitely recommend this store to my friends and family.

Went in to check prices on mattress. Asked for mattress 300.00 or less. Im cheap plus, it was only for guess room. Sales person said that they dont make mattresses for that price. Needless to say I didnt buy a mattress from that location. With to another mattress one and found what I needed.

Very disappointed. The Delivery Services and even the Customer Services were unacceptable. First time delivery: mattress ok but Wrong base, second try: base broken, Third try: they did not show up. I called customer services to cancel the base as it was not delivery and after two weeks, they did not solve the issue with the bank as it was through financing. I was expected to do the first payment of the mattress + base. because customer services did not solve the issue in my first call (and they told me it was done from their side). well.. really disgusting to see how bad is the organization there. Never to try in Mattress one again.

We ordered a mattress for my son, it took a day or two longer than expected, okay, things happen. Then we got the wrong mattress. We had to go back, compare what we got with what we received, it indeed was there wrong one, was told that oh they must have upgraded you! Sometimes they upgrade you if they dont have what you ordered in stock. But the mattress was clearly cheaper in quality from what we had ordered.So to rehash:1. Our bed came in late.2. They brought us there wrong (cheaper) bed.3. They tried to cover it up and tell us that it was an upgrade.So yeah, Im giving them one star.

The sales staff at this location force you to give them 5 stars before they close the sale!I purchased a mattress here, and Shay was originally helpful, but has turned out to be useless. She has twice told me the wrong delivery dates so now I have no new mattress 2 week after I paid them and no one wishes to help. They also have 8am-8pm deliver windows, and refuse to narrow it even though THEY have messed up my order TWICE!I will not purchase from mattress 1 again. AVOID IF YOU CAN.

Common mistake but District Manager Alex Hook was not only severely rude from step one but also very very very UN-customer friendly. Try anywhere other than this place. Went into this store over the weekend after having spoke to a rep about ordering a box spring only, I specified I was looking for an all wood box spring preferably in a light color to which he said they had in a grey color. I believe his name was Rohan, very friendly over the phone and even offered a coupon off the box spring and delivery. I walk in and he happened to be with another customer so I stood there for a few minutes until another guy (Bryan Gutierrez) addressed me saying he thought I was with another other lady. This guy was so disinterested, he barely made eye contact, he seemed bored out of his mind and I had just interrupted his afternoon. I proceeded to order the box spring, he claimed they had an all wood in dark grey color box spring. He questioned the other associate, multiple times, about discounts he had offered me claiming he didn’t want to get in trouble? Turns out Bryan is the manager!! And he’s asking his associate about the validity of these coupons?! Ok, long story short I called at 4pm to see if I could get an approximate time of delivery bc I needed to head out, Bryan says he would call me right back, he did not. So I continue to wait for delivery bc turns out their window is from 8am-8pm, ridiculous broad time frame, they show up at 6:30pm only to receive the wrong product. I call Bryan, he apologizes for not calling back and I tell him no need bc delivery is here and it’s the wrong product. He goes on about how they probably upgraded me to a metal box spring etc etc Well it’s not what I ordered, he calls me back to basically say they no longer carry all wood in grey, and wants to shoot me over to customer service basically. Obviously I’m frustrated bc I have family coming in two days and need to have this bed ready and he’s wasted my time when I could’ve gone elsewhere, well he again wasn’t interested in what I had to say so he hangs up on me after giving me the phone number to customer service which happened to already be closed, so why in the world would he want me to call at that time knowing they were closed? Bc he simply does not care and wanted to brush me off. I called the store back and he failed to answer, talk about poor customer service. Throughout the conversation he said he did his job, and that “most people” want a metal box spring, to which I said “I do not care what most people want, you said you had a product, not that it was back ordered or anything of that nature”. Had he said they didn’t carry it, no hard feelings, and I would’ve continued my search! He simply failed to be aware of what the company carries or doesn’t carry, and with that attitude I’m not surprised one bit that he’s misinformed. Its been a complete waste of time. Go elsewhere if you value time and good customer service.

Terrible system! I put in a down-payment back in April for a mattress, then decided to cancel this deal and get a refund. They promised me a full refund within 5-7 business days. Two months down the road and I still dont have my refund. The CS that I spoke with is Maily. She always has an excuse to why I didnt receive my refund. Last excuse was no one was working in the office for the entire week, and when I asked her why not? she said, thats personal information. Really??!!!

They said I didnt qualify for their 60 month finance plan (which was odd) so they offered what they called 100 days same as cash with 0% interest. I expected the payments to be large per paycheck due to the plan being 100 days. They said that I got a good deal on the financing and it would be shy of $200 a month. It sounded odd but I thought it was ok since it was 0% interest and thinking that I could trust them. They rushed me through the paperwork and really didnt give me a chance to completely read through it all. They gave me a condensed version of what each document said that I needed to sign. I discovered 6 months later that the store did not give me all the important details that were imperative to reveal. It would have changed my mind about the purchase at the store. If I had stopped them and read each word of the long documents, I would have discovered that it says that if the account was not paid off by a date that is 100 days from the purchase date, a fee would be assessed and the regular payments would continue until the account was paid off. I discovered the fee was approximately 100% of the purchase price. So they lied to me about the supposed 0% interest and didnt reveal to me the facts about the finance companys (Snap Finance) definition of 100 days same as cash. In short Snap Finance is a lease-to-own financing firm. They mark-up the purchase about 100% and call it their fee but not interest because that would be illegal. Crawling through terminology loopholes is a shady way of doing business and Snap Finance needs to brought down for that. Mattress 1 One aught to be reprimanded for doing business with loan sharks such as Snap Finance. Of course, Mattress 1 One (Katy, Tx) sales people need to reprimanded for pushing customers through signing the documents that they know are providing business to a loan shark, besides the fact that they leave out the most important facts about the 100 days same as cash financing. I will never do business with Mattress 1 One ever again and will make sure everyone I know and can reach will be knowledgeable of these facts.

Came to look around before furniture shopping, but ended up getting the perfect bed & base.. so no need for furniture shopping.

I purchased the Serta coolform matresses with bases for my boys. Chris G was very helpful going through all of the different options. I highly recommend this Mattress One location.

Please do not buy from this company! They only take your money and tell lies. NO ONE will help you once they lie to you nor will they allow you to return the mattress once you realize you did not get the terms you (are told you are)signed for (your terms are NOT on the contract only the finance company. DO NOT TRUST). DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS PLACE!!!! About a month and a half ago, my cousin and I went to the store to buy a mattress, and the Sales Person, Ash, told us we had 60 months no interest; however, the financing company does not even offer that plan. We were signed up for 12 months no interest. Also so the Sales Person could make his commission, he put the balance of the cousins purchase (almost $1,200) on MY account (she was not approved for the total amount she needed for her mattresses). My cousin also returned her orginal purchase because the mattress would not fit; however, Mattress 1 does not show the return. I have contacted the Sales Associate, he has not fixed the problem nor is he returning calls/text. I have contacted Mattress 1 customer service. They have not been any help. Halen gave me an attitude and blamed me for the error. She also gave me to wrong email address to the District Manager, Jonathan Beaudreax, and I have not heard a word from anyone trying to clear this issue! If you want to save your money, time, and credit score, DO NOT BUY FROM MATTRESS 1!!!

Customer service is great. Dominique, our sales person showed us many good options which fit our specific needs. He did exhibit good technical knowledge about hiw does a particular mattress technology works. He helped us select our current choice of mattress which is Sealy Radiant Gold. I definitely would recommend this store if you are looking for a mattrress.
