Very satisfied with the services I received from Square Cow Movers & would use them again. We were doing a local door to door move. Steve & his team were very professional, easy to work with & very thorough. The team worked well together & were extremely efficient. I had 2 large pieces of marble that were moved without any problems. When they were finished packing, they did a walk around with us to ensure nothing was missed. When they had finished unloading, they went room to ensure each room was set up to our satisfaction. We had several boxes of items that they couldn’t move (toiletries, cleaning products etc.). They loaded & unloaded these boxes into our vehicles which was very helpful.There are several items which prevented me from giving Square Cow Movers a “5.”1) When we booked the movers, we were told that they would use any existing boxes we had. However, the movers only used 1-2 of these boxes.2). We had used dish pack boxes available they could use. However, they didn’t use these dish packs & used only small boxes instead. I prefer dish packs because you can pack more China into them & you use less boxes.3). They didn’t consistently mark boxes to reflect their contents. The movers who packed up the bedrooms did so. However, the movers who packed up the kitchen didn’t identify the contents. I ended up with 20+ boxes marked kitchen. This is making it very hard for us to prioritize unpacking & to locate certain items.4). Several items were marked with “fragile” in regular sized letters on the top of the box only. They weren’t marked on the side, making it difficult to identify which boxes are fragile when they stacked. Other boxes were marked “China” but were not marked as fragile or breakable.5). They don’t recycle boxes. I unpacked a couple of wardrobe boxes before the movers left & asked them to take the boxes. Steve said that they were my boxes & they couldn’t take them back to recycle or use again. When you’re unpacking, it gives you more room to get the boxes out of the way. It is also much better for our environment to reuse/recycle boxes & keep them out of landfills. I would have happy to use boxes that weren’t new as long as they were in good shape.

Steve, Paz, Erik, Luke and Bobby did an excellent job moving my parents entire home. Packed it, wrapped it, moved it into a storage unit. Carefully and thoughtfully. Would recommend this team to anyone every time.

Steven and his crew were on time and very professional. Each crew member worked tirelessly throughout the day and disassembled, shrink wrapped, and reassembled every piece of furniture as if it was their own! I would highly recommend this company and especially this crew if we ever moved again.

I had a poor experience with a different moving company a few years ago where everything went wrong in that move because of the company. Truthfully, I called Square Cow because their trucks would make me laugh when I would see them. However, today they have a customer for good. Not only was the team efficient and kind, but we had the kind of move where everything went wrong (though absolutely no fault on their part) and they still worked with me. Its been a very long day, but Im so glad it was with Square Cow and not another company. Thanks for everything!

Best Moving experience ever. Guys were nice, well groomed and friendly.I had antiques so I was nervous. They treated my stuff better that I do. they set up the beds, placed the furniture exactly how I wanted it. I had one piece that was very tall.. The boss came out to make sure it was moved correctly. My wife and I are fairly new to the area and did a short distance move from our current house to a new one. I contacted Square Cow Movers received a quote on Monday but unable to schedule until Friday evening due to some unknowns. I called the Number and the woman who answered the phone was able to pull up my information quickly and went above and beyond to schedule a crew for the next morning even though we told her we could wait till the following week if it would be easier for them. The crew contacted me at the precise time they were scheduled for. When they arrived the three men who arrived were very friendly and professional. Eric took time to review exactly what I wanted done and addressed all of my concerns before starting work. Once the crew got started they expertly protected our belongings and carefully packed them into the moving truck. All of the while communicating with is about any concerns we may have. The unloading process when even smoother and they showed the utmost respect for our house and belongings. Todd and Joe were still in training but still show extra professionalism. They moved the furniture ofa 3 bedroom 2 bath house and had it unloaded in perfect condition in under 4 hours. We would recommend to contact square cow for any assistance you may need with moving.

I used Square Cow Movers in the beginning of June to move from one apartment to another within the same complex. From the get go I was very impressed with their attention to detail when it came to filling out the info to get a quote online. They reached out to me immediately about my move and what they could do for me. After looking into a handful of moving companies, Square Cow Movers has the lowest rate. Leading up to the move I was contacted to confirm the time and location which was reassuring. The day of the move, the movers arrived on time and ready to get things going. They were quick and diligent, very professional. They laid down a mat to protect the flooring from the heavy traffic. All of my furniture was wrapped with moving blankets followed by moving tape. I was moving from up stairs into another upstairs and not once did any of the team member mention how hard the work was. They were very respectful to each other and to myself. After they loaded the truck we went to the new apartment and the unloading was a breeze. They placed the furniture exactly where I wanted it and had no problems making adjustments as other pieces came in. The lead mover was very informative with each document I was to sign, explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. Months later I cannot stop raving about this company, honestly the BEST moving experience. We are looking to move within the next year and I know exactly who I am going to call!

They send a representative out to our house to give us a quote for the move, John was very professional and gave us a quote. He followed up with us several times explaining the whole process. Chris and Chase did an excellent job helping us move some very large, fragile, and sentimental pieces of furniture. There were two large china cabinets in multiple pieces, two large grandfather clocks, and a few other items. They packed everything very carefully, moved it gently, and then unpacked it with care. Two of the heavy items even went up a tall flight of stairs! They were efficient and professional, and really so careful and helpful, plus they were super nice. I highly recommend them! Square Cow as very easy to work with as well.

I had Sekana and Bobby as my movers and they were extremely professional and respectful of all my things and of my home. Used these folks for difficult complicated move out of dads senior living apt. I had to coordinate it from Victoria to move stuff from Houston to LaGrange. Had to call text and email multiple times to make sure details were correct with address dates times etc, and everyone was more than helpful. Schedulers, dispatchers, Katy and Houston managers and heavy lifters were all awesome. They were cheerful, patient and efficient as well as knowledgeable. And affordable. Wonderful people and company.

They are a great company. There are no hidden fees. The movers are so polite. They are reasonably price. I love that the truck is painted like a cow. It is adorable. I also love that the manager/ supervisor calls before your move begins and afterwords to see if everything is OK.

When you managed to find these at a really good price, and find out a month later that your chosen moving company wasnt gentle with your boxes. Tack this on to more damaged items.Picture frames of an important picture Id bought months ago are broken beyond my repair and have to be returned to Hobby Lobby for fixing. They also broke my sons decorative shelf; this was beyond repairing and had to be trashed. They dropped 4 crate shelves Ive made for him and Ive had to repaint and wood glue them back together (lets see if it holds). They damaged one of the leaves of my expensive FULL WOOD dining table. They also damaged a leg on my hand-me-down 70s FULL WOOD dresser. This isnt even counting how they put LARGE or HEAVY boxes on top of SMALL or FRAGILE boxes. I wrote FRAGILE all over those and even put arrows, but the movers didnt care. I do NOT recommend Square Cow Movers at all.The movers were pleasant and the prices were right, so we thought we were making a deal. Worst. Deal. Ever.Edited to add: Of COURSE they would respond saying they dont find me in their system. Im not using my real name on here!

I hired Square Cow to move some large furniture from one room to another and install metal shelving in my garage. I hired them because of their location, price and availability, and they worked around my schedule. They called when they were on their way. Matt and the other gentleman were sooo incredibly helpful and I will absolutely use them again !!

The two guys that came were very nice. I appreciate the care they attempted to make while moving my furniture. I can see it wasnt easy and I could not have done it myself. They did leave multiple gashes in the walls and should have wrapped the furniture in plastic instead of allowing their sweat to get absorbed in them. They did finish on time with a lot of breaks.

Square Cow Movers Katy were AWESOME!!! The 3 man team that were sent to move us were GREAT!!! They were friendly and personable, and didnt complain once about the big job we had for them (essentially 2 moves in 1). We did a quick walk through of the house when they arrived (they arrived on time and even gave a phone call as well) and then they were off loading boxes and wrapping and padding our big furniture pieces. They were not the cheapest movers, but they were pretty darn good and met all of the expectations I had set in my mind. Horrible experience. I was trying not to leave a negative review. Now I’m seeing that most of my bedroom furniture was put back together incorrectly. Legs under bed are bent. Boards under mattress are not screwed. Legs under Chester are not screwed on tight. Would not recommend company to anyone.

These guys know how to run a business and make sure they are doing the best job possible! I would give Square Cow Movers 5 stars on service alone before we even got to moving day. They were extremely communicative throughput the whole process, personally called me to confirm the quote and discuss the process, and followed up periodically before our moving day. I asked for quotes from other companies in town and only received an email with a fee-heavy price for them, not even a phone call or follow up.On moving day they were equally impressive! Supervisors even visited the home to make sure everything was going well and asking for positive or negative feedback for improvement. They were extremely respectful with our items and Im so relieved we hired them to help us in such a stressful time!This company is beyond amazing and professional and fairly priced to top it off! If we ever move again, well use them again and recommend them to everyone!

Weve used Square Cow Movers twice (each time with different crews) and they have gotten everything right. Heavy furniture was handled like little to nothing and we got furniture into rooms my wife and I did not think was possible. Theyve been on-time. Theyve taken care of goods and have wrapped things tight. We are left with good service and my wife and I havent 2nd guessed when signing the check.

These people were very unprofessional. After booking our move we spoke to them about the date and what to expect twice. The story kept changing and after they showed up they tried to tell us all they could do was pack not move us. They ended up telling us they would not even pack us. Very unprofessional.REPLY TO THEIR REPLYThey used an excuse of “unsanitary conditions” when they found out that their scheduling mistake meant they would have to find another truck to move another customer. The manager even resorted to a lie telling us the two employees were barfing by the truck. I spoke to one employee and he was ready to pack as soon as he arrived. No barfing! Instead they made us wait nearly two hours before deciding to drop our job and not try to find another truck. Very, very unprofessional!

Moved on one of the hottest days of the year - and these guys barely stopped for water. They did a wonderful job and protected all of my furniture before they placed it into storage. Will definitely use them in the future.

Andre and Brandon were absolutely awesome! They arrived when I expected, and let me know when they were on their way. They were very polite, professional, respectful, and very careful with my furniture.  The move took longer than I expected, but I was happy to pay for the excellent service! I asked them to do a lot of little piddling stuff, and they were happy to oblige. They did everything that I asked of them without complaint or attitude.  I absolutely hate moving, but they made it bearable. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I will definitely call Square Cow Moovers!  I will specifically ask for those 2 fine young gentlemen!  As a moving company, your greatest asset is your employees.As a side note, I bought them breakfast and lunch, and made sure that they were well hydrated throughout the day. They arrived at 8:30, but started the clock at 9 since I bought food, and worked until 7. I didnt expect them to discount time to eat, but they insisted. I probably should have bought their dinner as well! At the end of the day, I tipped them very well. These guys worked hard, and they deserve to be well taken care of. I am sure that they are well paid by the company, but dont forget to take care and tip for excellent service! Just my 2 cents worth. Those guys worked their butts off, and only took a break when I insisted.

This company did a fantastic job! Until just now, my family and I have been renters for the past 3 years. Being that we were on a tight budget in the holiday season, we selected the 4 guys/2 trucks deal for the minimum 2 hours - an hour to load, and an hour to travel and unload basically.The team lead was excellent (Andy I believe was his name). He came in, I told him the situation and that the biggest and heaviest furniture was the priority. He walked with me through each room, kept up, and instructed his team what our goal was. As soon as they heard the goal, they each went to separate rooms and began wrapping furniture. This already outdid our last moving company with the furniture wrapping and the team lead. They operated quickly and efficiently and got every large heavy piece of furniture out of the house in time and unloaded quickly and smoothly at the new house. We went slightly over the 2 hours due to having to remove and replace refrigerator doors but they did not charge for the extra time.This is where it went from great to amazing. After they left, we realized our ice maker on our fridge was not working, it was leaking water on the bottom, and the doors were not quite even. We turned off the ice maker since there was no point to it being on and the leaking stopped. We notified them that there seemed to be something damaged or not properly connected and the two managers came out the next available day to look at it. They repaired the doors unevenness, and tightened the hose down at the bottom that was leaking. They instructed me to call or even text them if the problem continued - a few hours later, still no ice, and a leaking bottom again. I notified the manager and he asked for a picture of the connector at the bottom. He went, purchased the part himself, came out again and replaced it. Shortly after that, no leaking and plenty of ice. All of this without any questions asked or additional charges.This was by far my best moving experience ever. I cannot give them enough praise or thank their entire team for the work they did. Fortunately for us, we do not plan to move again any time soon, but I am doing plenty of word of mouth marketing for them, and wish them all the best in the new year - They certainly deserve it!

I would reccomend this company!This is a company that cares about its customers. I had some issues initially, but they were all taken care of and ultimately everything was made right. You can tell that people come first here, and rest assured that if there is a problem it will be taken care of properly!

Derik and his team have all been beyond fantastic. Some of the hardest workers I have ever met....I have had to move several times within the last 6 months and based on my experience with them (each time), I will be using them for every future move. They definitely exceeded my expectations! The guys who have moved me have been friendly, helpful, mindful of my time and so polite!! Thank you so much for taking care of me each time Ive moved. I am hoping to stay where I am for a while, but if/when I end up moving again, I will definitely be calling Square Cow.

I used Square Cow Movers Katy in late October, 2019. The team was #38 with Steve, Tre and Christian. This was the 3rd time Ive used Square Cow Movers. Overall Square Cow Movers does a good job and I like the fact a Manager comes by to see how things are going and sometimes helps if necessary.Several complaints I had with the last move are: a surge protector, various wires and Amazon Firestick with remote were placed loosely on top of a box by an employee and placed in the truck. I planned to put them in a box. I didnt realize theyd been taken to the truck without asking me what I wanted to do about them. I found they were moved loose, which is against their policy, when I was by the truck toward the end of the move and the employee walked out carrying the items on top of a box.The remote control fell in the truck, the back opened and a battery fell out. While Im asking why he moved the items this way, which could have been lost in their truck, the supervisor placed the remote along with another one in the book box instead of handing them to me. I was left to look for the loose battery in their truck and on the ground by myself. I had to look through approx. 10 book boxes after they left to find the remotes! The manager whod arrived helped carry their dolly stacked with 5-6 book boxes upstairs which crushed the top of the boxes. This was done twice. I understand it saved time but I like to reuse the boxes and also dont want my books crushed.When I signed the paperwork at the end of the move I expressed both my satisfaction with most of their work but also my disappointment with the issues regarding the electronic items and the book boxes to Steve, Supervisor. He didnt respond at all. I assumed hed at least say he was sorry. We all want our items moved quickly since were paying by the hour but also efficiently and without damage. It almost seemed like the manager was rushing them to get to the next job and they started getting sloppy. After they left I noticed part of the black netting on the bottom of my box spring was cut/torn I assume when they removed the plastic wrap. I asked when they arrived that the mattress/box spring each be placed in thick plastic bags Id purchased but this wasnt done.I also dont like that the charges start when they leave their office not when they arrive at my apartment. This seems like a trip charge and doesnt benefit me at all!I spoke to a female Area Manager a few days after the move about these issues and a few I had with employees of the 2nd move. She didnt apologize at all regarding any of the issues I described! I find the attitude by some of the Square Cow management Ive spoken to during the 3 moves to be very snobbish and have terrible customer service. Others are nice and have good customer service. Excellent customer service is required when dealing with the public and with your customers!After this conversation, I spoke to a moving company in Katy who charges a lot less per hour for 3 men, has been in business for 35 yrs., has great reviews and the charges start when the movers arrive. I plan on using them with my next move and will no longer give Square Cow Movers Katy my business in the future.
