They came through in a clutch again today. Called several shops in the Milwaukee and Kenosha area and all of them were unavailable for days even just for a simple tire plug. These guys got me in and out in 30 minutes on a short notice. Nice work gentleman 5 star.

If your looking for a places that will put you in personal debt look no further than MIDAS. Guy tells me it will be 9000 to fix a oil leak issue and another 5000 to replace engine. So good luck. 0 fricken stars.
Woke up to my car leaking coolant. These guys took me in right away and fixed it no problem! Very friendly and easy going. Explained everything in detail. Ive had my issues in the past here but times do change and ill be returning for additional service.
They were professional and QUICK! I called and they got me in 10 minutes later. I was really in a pinch and these guys, Josh specifically, helped me out. They did an oil change and tire rotation in less than 45 minutes, they also did a courtesy check on the car and told me about some other issues I needed to take care of. Will be back!
Went for a brake replacement and I see someone took my car out for a spin, brought it back, and took it apart, apparently, because when they finnaly gave me a price tag (way too high) I said Ill think it over and they said ok let me put her back together. The sign outside says 119.99 brake changes but they tried charging me a few thousand. I ended up buying a jack and doing it myself
Never again will I come to this place! I am very unhappy with the way they performed my repair. After leaving the shop two months ago to get my brakes done, I’ve been having problems with them. They make noises and still squeal and smoke. I brought my car back there yesterday to have them looked at, dropped it off today they promised I would get my car back today and now they are telling me the car looks fine and they don’t know what I am talking about. Very unprofessional people that work here.

Some plastic part in the front bottom of my car got loose (probably its screw fell off on the bump road). Midas had my car checked and fixed quickly. As a foreigner here, I felt warm and touched by the kindness Midas staff extended in this cold day. Thank you, Midas! I will surely come back!

Took an hour and 20 minutes for an oil change. Workers are fooling around in the garage not working. I will never go back to midas. And... now my brakes squeal. Inky went in for an oil change, not for brake work.
Not trustworthy!After bringing my car in for an oil change I was told my shocks/struts needed replaced. This shocked me as I replaced them a year ago! I took my car to the dealer and no, the shocks/struts are fine and do not need replaced. I am very disappointed in the way this business is run, preying on women, or those they assume do not know much about cars is disgusting.

I only went to midas because they said I would get a rebate on my tires. After they had already put on brand new tires and performed a wheel alignment was I told that the rebate had ended 3 days earlier and I was not eligible for the rebate. I could have gone some place else and gotten a better deal.

I have never been to midas but my neighbor chuck saw my husband in the driveway and he stopped to see if he was OK knowing he was going to be late for work he went above and beyond and I would recommend his shop to everyone
Went in for an oil change and was told I needed back brakes. I told them I would have to check with CarMax because I just bought the car and it is under warranty. After I said no to getting new back brakes I was treated very rudely. According to this man he didnt even want to let me leave thats how bad he said I needed back brakes. It took it to CarMax and they checked all my brakes and told me my back brakes were at a 6 and my front was a 5. So my back brakes were actually better than my front. According to Midas my front brakes were like new. I will never go back again to Midas and recommend no one else to go there because you will lose lots of money and get unnecessary things done to your car.
Dan and the rest of the guys are extremely helpful, always willing to change a headlight or turn signal right in the Parking lot even. Purchased new tires for my car in the Fall and Dan took the time to go over EVERY option, keeping in mind my personal driving routine. I won’t take my car to another shop!

They tried to do the front end alignment after I put all new parts on. They failed, I brought my truck back, went on the shop floor, showed them what needed to be done, they failed again. I hope to get my money back cause I had to take my truck to tires plus to get it fixed the right way

This place is a mess truly unprofessional. I went in for coils which they said would take a couple hours and then I never got a call for them so I called the next day and they said they were waiting for the piece. So I’m waiting I call the next day still waiting on the piece...... just FYI this was Monday at 8 am I didn’t get my car back till Friday at 8 am. I got the run around for the whole week and you think I would get an apology or a discount which I didn’t. I wish they would hire Dan back because Chuck and Patrick don’t know nothing... Just lost a customer which is sad because I been with them for 5 plus years. Would not recommend to anyone

WHO KNEW!?When you think of Midas, you automatically think: Mufflers and exhaust, right? Well, times have changed! Midas has become a full-service repair facility, and we couldnt be more pleased! Dan was such a nice guy, they all were, actually. We had our front and rear brakes done, along with the conrol arm bushings. We also had the transmission flushed. They did a phenomenal job! They even drove me home and picked me up! We have just scheduled a tune-up and coolant flush, and will follow that with the air conditioner/compressor and exhaust. I am so happy to finally have a shop that I feel this confident in, with my vehicle. Rare nowadays! Thank you!- Richard M.
Great service at reasonable prices. Brought my vehicle in for an oil change. They did an overall inspection and showed me some of the parts and services that the car may need in near future. There was no pressure, just information and explanation. They outlined various options and costs as well as discounts that could be applied. All this in writing so there is no miscommunication. Some people seem to have an unfavorable experience. To these people, I suggest, please go back and have an open and honest conversation. You may be pleasantly surprised.
I want to start by saying that weve never had a problem with this Midas until today. But this is a BIG problem which not only cost them all of our future business but I also feel obligated to warn others as well. A couple of days ago, I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I said that Id drop it off between 11-1130. I received an email confirming that was ok. We dropped off our car at 11:15am. My husband was told it was going to be a while since they only had 2 people that day. We were fine with that. 4:30pm rolls around and still no call. 5 hours for an oil change seems unacceptable. First my husband called. Then I called. We called a half a dozen times and let it ring up to 20 times (no voice mail or message service)! Their Facebook page said that their hours are 730-6pm Fridays. We decided to just go there. The car HAD to be done right? We pulled in and they were CLOSED. Our car was parked facing out which means that they moved it and it must be done. THEY NEVER CALLED EITHER OF US! HOW LONG WAS THE CAR DONE? Since they arent in the best area, I told my husband to make sure that the doors were at least locked. Hey guess what.....THE DRIVER SIDE WAS UNLOCKED! SO....they were NOT going to let us have our car when it was done AND they were going to leave it and our belongings and paperwork that is in the car easily accessible to anyone walking by! SO-BEWARE!! THEY WILL NOT ONLY NOT BOTHER TO CALL YOU TO GIVE YOUR CAR BACK-BUT THEY WILL ALSO LEAVE IT UNSECURE OVERNIGHT AS WELL! I am just LIVID! I suppose I will just hope that we can get his car before he has to go to work tomorrow! Since they probably wont call me, or answer the phone....I guess well show up and hope they will be there....Ill be getting all of our oil changes at Woodmans going forward (I hear great things) and Auto Medix for the rest....I have to add this little joke- I went to post a bad review on the Midas website and it wouldnt post. I’ve been very satisfied with my Midas Kenosha store experience. They are honest and only recommend the work truly needs to be done. I also appreciate their friendliness and clear communication. And I seem to always find a coupon to reduce the cost of work done. I will continue to us them and always recommend to friends too.
Went in 3 weeks ago for front end allignment. Paid 199 dollars plus tax. To find out on friday may 8th that I need front sway bars and links and that the front end alignment didnt work at all with the issue of my sway bars. I also brought in my truck into.you guys 2 weeks ago for a oil gasket leak. Apparently that wasnt it and never received a call that it was my transmission line they took it upon themselves to just do the line without talking to me first. I had to go in to see what was going on and thats when I find out what it was. They took it upon themselves to order parts and take the old line off. Time to call BBB
I take all my cars to the Midas in Kenosha. Dan always understands the issues that come up on my cars and does a great job to have his guys fix them. He has done work on some odd things that have happened and seems to know everything about how cars work and how to fix them. I will always take my cars into this Midas for maintenance and repairs. The ppl here are fantastic! We had some reoccurring issues with our van. They were honest enough to tell us the problem was some previous work we had done and to have it towed to the place that did the work. They could have done the repairs and gotten money out of it and we wouldnt have known. But they were honest and helped us hold the previous place accountable (which they did too!). We will definitely come back!!!

I used to go to this location all the time, I started going to another shop for a little bit, but started going back to Midas within the last year... never again, theyre service has gone downhill drastically & the people who run the front counter have horrible customer service skills. I went there 9 months ago to get my brakes & an oil change done. Within a day my oil light came on, checked my dipstick & it was completely dry. I went back & explained that maybe they forgot to do the oil change. Instead of admitting they forgot, they just rudely said they had no idea what was going on or why it was dry.Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, I made an appointment online with them to get my brakes looked at because they were making a grinding noise. I got a confirmation stating my appointment was set, just to show up & be told that they had no record of my appointment & they just had 3 guys quit so they had no time to fit me in. I got no apology or anything for the issue, I was just told I had to reschedule my appointment for a few days later. When I came back a few days later, the front desk guy explained to me that grinding noises this time of year is completely normal due to the road salt & that it was nothing to worry about. He convinced me that there was nothing wrong & they didnt even look at my vehicle. Well today my brakes went out completely while I was driving to work. Im now missing an entire day of work, at a different shop getting my pads, rotors, & calipers replaced when they could have been fixed before, if they actually looked at my car instead of talking me out of it.
Bad flat tire that couldnt be patched, brought in the wheel and told them i would pick up the next day. Next day wheel was ready. They charged me the price of the tire plus $20 labor. Fair price, easy transaction, will return.
Brought my car in for a second opinion and left happy with the answer. Oscar, store manager assisted with answering all the questions I had. He even took the time to show me parts of my car, explained what each part was for, and what to look for when in need of replacement. It was a very helpful and professional experience. The process did not take long either. I was pleased and I am glad I came to Midas in Kenosha to get my car checked. I will be back again in the future!
Got an oil change, service was great as expected
About three years ago, I had two front shocks on my Dodge replaced. One shock was leaking. As you may know, shocks should be replaced in pairs. The shocks were from Midas and carried a liifetime warranty but the warranty excluded labor. It took the person 20 minutes to replace them. They gave me a $130.00 bill. So much for the lifetime warranty. And the $17.00 charge for shop supplies was ludicrous. What a joke/rip off. This charge should be the cost of doing business.I have not been back to Midas nor do I plan to do so. By the way, I complained to the Midas corporate office and they didnt do squat.
I went to another local tire shop that will remain nameless and was ripped off. The same day I called into Midas and Dan in the Kenosha branch, took the time to consult me on which tires to choose and why. He said he could ship in new tires by 2pm. My wife went in at 2pm and was out at 3:30pm. His level of service was extremely high compared to my car dealership and other local business. Ask for Dan next time you are there.
Everyone here took great care of me and an issue I had with my truck. They got my truck back on the road faster than I expected, and a very fair price. Start to finish I was very happy here, Id recommend them to anyone.
Word to the wise; go elsewhere to have your vehicle serviced. (1.) Dec 2014, (41,526mi), had 2 rear calipers, 2 rear rotors, 1 front rotor, pads front and back. Cost $1,136. (2.) Oct 2018, (58,251mi), had truck inspected by same Midas, brakes good. (3.) July 2019, (64,584mi) 2 “front calipers seized up “needed to be replaced, 2 front rotors replaced, 2 brake pads needed. Cost $774. Estimate given at $350 to replace rear rotors & pads. (4.) Nov 2019 (69,857mi) return w/estimate to get the work done. “2 rear calipers have seized up”+ 2 rotors + pads. New Cost $745. Total Cost: $2,655, Miles driven 28,331. It ended up like that Halloween Chucky horror movie.

Good place, generally but prices can af up with little thingsadding up. They try to be fair and give you a discount and make it up in service. The reason for a four star is they should be more competitive in prices on major services not routine servuces only, and finally on availability for appointments to get customers in.
They fixed my daughters brakes and I was pleased with that. They did it in a very timely manner. The only thing that I was disappointed with was that it cost a couple hundred dollars more than what I was quoted on the phone.

I came in for a brake change and they tried to tell me I needed a whole new brake system and it would cost $1,565. Among the many things they said I needed was new calipers, but Id recently gotten new calipers so I knew the whole thing was probably bs.I took my Jeep to Meineke in Racine and they fixed my brakes for a little over $100.This place is just out to scam you money and time.

Went in for the 88.99 brake job special - turned into over 500.00 estimate. Told them no thanks I will pick it up. When I went to get it the driver side mirror was shattered with brake fluid all over the mirror and side of truck. Manager told me I brought it in that way and they documented it. Wow. Learned a hard lesson about Midas in Kenosha WI....go there at your own risk. One star is too generous ...if you had a minus star rating then -5

Theyve been there many years and are still in business. Havent had any personal experience with them for repair work though. Like anything else with automobiles ask questions before you approve any repair work can get estimates before proceeding.

Heres the run down we called Midas and made an appointment to get the car tested and check to see why the engine light was on so it could pass. The guy that took the call never asked for a name just told us to come in at 10 am precise on Tuesday Feb/25/2014. We insisted he take our name down so they have it in the system. I go in exactly at the time they told me to be there arrived 5 min be for time cause I never like to be late and they tell me they never took an appointment down for us and they could do an emotions test but I told them we had an appointment to see why the check engine light was on gave him my name that it should be under tried it a few ways was still not on the system. So I wasted my GASS and TIME going there. But thats not the end of this. They told us they were sorry for the inconvenience and I made a new time this time 8 am much more earlier than the last they told me they would get me in right away and be the first one looked at and done. Took it in went home waiting for a phone call 4 Hours passed and we wondered why they had not called us back yet. So we called to see if maybe they had just forgotten to call and see how far they were. The answer they gave us telling me that it had not been looked at yet after 4 hours after dropping it off outraged me. I have to work at 3pm and it was 12 in the afternoon when we called them to be exact. I did not get my car done for another 3 hours after that making it 7 hours total that they told me would be done first thing that it would have only taking 3. I can assure you I am never doing service at this repulsing place and there poor excuse of a busyness again. I am just vary, vary, vary disappointed it took this long .

Totally ripped me off, told me I needed front and back brakes as well as roters....tgree years later I go to change out my pads again and find out I still had my original Ford brand roters still. After three years there wasnt much I could do. Do not go here, cheats and liars. 900.00 of work not done. Wish I would have found out sooner, would of taken them to court.
My Husband called on Saturday morning to see if they could get my car in to have the brakes replaced. They told him they had an opening and to bring it in. He asked if they would just replace the pads and they told him that they would have to look at it first. Ok, we understand that so he brought it in. At 1:00 he got a call from Don saying that the total for repairs would be $1,216.98 because they highly recommend replacing the rotors and the left rear caliper. He asked if they could complete the job today and they said yes, they close at 5 so he could pick it up at 4:45. He said yes, complete the job. At 4:30 he gets a phone call from Don stating they do not have the right part to complete the job and that they need to keep the car so that he can TRY to get the part on Monday. He was already on his way to pick the car up. When he got there he told him that he would take it with just the pads and rotors and to put the old caliper back on.I will be honest, I do not know anything about brakes. I knew my car starting squealing and we brought in the next day. I drive a 2012 Dodge Journey. According to Don it has a special braking system that they did not know about and they got the wrong part. So the part listed on the invoice is not correct. I did a quick Google search and found the part in less than a minute! I have a good friend who is a mechanic in another State and I asked him if this was the correct part and he confirmed. I also called Auto Zone and they confirmed.When I called and spoke with Don (the Manager) he told me that there was no way for them to know that it needed this special part. They had my car for 7 hours before calling to let us know that they could not complete the job. He told me that it is not their fault.Overall it was very poor communication. We asked to have the pads replaced and that was it. When we agreed to pay WAY more than expected they could not even get the job done.

They charged me $1000 for new rotors and brakes. I still had the brake problem when they were finished. I took it back and told them it was still broken And they wanted to charge me more money to fix the problem. I really dont think they know what they are doing especially the managers.

Long story short, they quoted me nearly $800 for what I thought was just a front brake pad change. They said I needed the whole system replaced--pads, shoes, drums, the whole thing. I obviously declined. When I picked up my car, it was making noise like it hadnt been when I brought it in. I immediately took it elsewhere and they disagreed with Midas assessment, saying it didnt even appear that they removed my back tires to check at all. This other place changed just my front brake pads, saying it was all I needed. If you need car work done, go literally anywhere but here.
I was quoted price for complete job, when I paid they added shop supplies on to bill raising the complete bill by 18.02. The reason people get a quote is to know how much you are paying. Most companies will call to get your ok for additional expense. 52 street in Kenosha doesnt give you the right price. They jack you at the checkout. Not good policy.
I went in this morning to get my emissions done and was told that all their emissions are done by appointment only and Thursday was the soonest they could get me in.I didnt know you had to make an appointment for emissions test.I suggest looking somewhere else.

I was overcharged on a quote that was given. The service that was quoted was exactly what was COMPLETED with no extras therefore a bait and switch was the end result.The service that they recommended was to do a transmission flush, if they were real mechanics they would have known that with my cars age which is a 2003 with the mileage of 185,000. The real job should have been to empty the pan and change the filter Now Im having major transmission issues because they may have serviced the transmission a little bit, *But* my fluid is not red it is pure black and a quart over!!So therefore I highly recommend finding a different shop!! The owners name is Mike, he does not/will not return any phone calls. The shop refuses to do anything to correct the situation!!Ive retained a lawyer which has already started my case, so the $160.00 that they could have refunded/or have corrected the situation will now turn into a couple thousand!!**Again stay away from the shop & find one with a better customer rating**
