Great experience! The woman, I assume was the owner, was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable on hair. She gave my husband some good advice on loc care, something we truly didnt expect. They had a great selection of products. I was able to get the majority of the items I need to start making my own products and at a better price than it would have been had I had gone somewhere else. I will definitely be visiting again.

I had a great experience at this shop. The owner/operator, was welcoming, knowledgeable, and went above n beyond. I went in to purchase hair accessories, braiding hair, n product for my daughters. Prior I had ordered product off Amazon and the product was not up to par. I will continue to shop here and recommend others to as well. Not only to support local businesses, but also because the customer service was on point, product was comparable or better, and knowledge of product and other local services. 🙏

I came in today to get some loc cream and shampoo and hair clip. The person sitting down watch me the whole time like I was to steal something I was over charged. This was my first time buying from here I shouldnt have a bad experience. For one I bought three things which came out to $26.36 the item cost $5.99, $5.99 and $9.99 which come at to $21.97, so I was charged like about $5.00 in taxes. The front cashier person which was same lady sitting down. She was very rude she throw the product in the bag and she throw my my receipt at me while smacking her lips. Which is very uncalled for as well as unacceptable, if youre working in a type of place where you have to interact with customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I would never shop here again. A waste of my money I could have spend my money elsewhere and been happy.

I always have a pleasant experience here because the lady that owns the store is really nice. Today was even better because she has a 50 percent discount

Tried to find this place navigation kept taking me in circles so I called maybe 5 times around 10 am no answer so going to another business

Nice place and well stocked had just what I was looking for but the owner cashier seemed as if she was bored and didnt want to be bothered. She was very dry.

Owner is rude! Asked simple questions about hair and she gave me nothing but blunt answers with a bad attitude. She doesnt uphold her hours for business, place will be closed during business hours or shell put a note on her door with other times and leaves it closed. Dont shop here. Lady needs to get laid.Response to Owner: I dont know what it feels like to not get laid. I suggest a vibrator. Im positive your customers will give you better feed back on your attitude 😉

Wow! Im so excited not only did I get a beautiful wig for a beautiful price but I had a couple questions and she answered them she also through in a couple of free items as well. Gosh. That type stuff never happenes to me. the lady who helped me was very knowledgeable Im assuming she was the owner. She had a very I dont take no s**t from nobody type attuide .. Im assuming shes had too a time or two before.I will definitely be making more purchases there. And taking all the advice I can get. Thank you to that lady. My wig now fits great after doing the adjustment you helped me with and it now stayed in place with the help of the headband. Thank you so much. You seriously made me have such a better day. My day totally. Sucked before coming to your store. Anyways thank u again.

I read some decent reviews about this place. Went into this beauty supply store for the FIRST time last week & the woman in the shop/cashier had horrible customer service. Her attitude did not seem pleasant at all, I asked a few questions she responded without eye contact. The vibe didnt feel right, not spending money on supplies or services from a shop who cannot acknowledge their customers. First time experience is everything. Ill take my money else where.

I drove half an hour to get hair at this place and the owner/cashier was not pleasant at all. At a point I thought “did I do something wrong”?There was no smile, she seems mad. The customer service was bad. You can do better lady. A smile will go a long way. I don’t think I want to go back again.

Just went into this store. The lady in the front is VERY short, unfriendly, and has an attitude. The previous reviews are right. She needs some customer service training. Maybe the store wouldnt be so empty.

I absolutly love going to C&G. Gwen, is a wonderful person and very professional. Plus she does beautiful work. My hair looks beautiful each time she Locs it for me. Love her beautiful shop. Gwen, had a great line of hair produts evdrthing u will need and more.

Found the cashier / salesperson and I believe owner to be very unpleasant. She seemed bothered that I had a question and cut me off mid sentence. No eye contact or politeness. ALSO really small selection, the smallest I’ve seen in a beauty supply, almost solely braiding hair and accessories. I just moved to Kent and I need to find a beauty supply, this is not it.

I didnt get a chance to go inside the store, because they didnt open up at 9am. I was waiting for 5 mins, for them to open and I had a appointment at 9:30am.

At first not a good experience but over the years Ive gotten to no her and she has been very helpful...and now even more items are arriving.

My fiance got her hair done there. Two people worked on her head and now she has bald spots where some of the hair falls out. Just terrible!
