This store was previously named Blind Dragon Hobbies. It was renamed to Big Dwarf Games due to a change of ownership. The people who work/own the store are very knowledgable and nice. The store carries a wide variety of board games, card games, miniatures games, and tabletop role playing games. Anything I have wanted that they did not have in the store was easily ordered and arrived quickly be it speciality dice or the Ultimate Werewolf Deluxe Edition card game for my daughter right before Christmas. The pricing has always been very comparable to other stores and online. They host Magic the Gathering tournaments, Warhammer, and tabletop RPGs throughout the week. Call for dates and times. I have played Shadowrun on Sundays for a couple of years now. They have always welcomed new players of any skill level or interest with no judgement and tried to set the player up for success and a fun time. That being said, self plug: need more players on Sundays for Shadowrun all skill levels welcome. I have watched the staff help a couple find a good starting deck for magic and then sat down and helped them both get to know the game and aided them with techniques and smoothing out rules misunderstandings. They go out of their way to make sure the customer is treated as a friend and is happy with their purchase. One of the few places I have seen that still sells Jones cola. Would recommend for gaming supplies and playing games of all types. Good knowledge base and helpful.
Thereis a great selection of rare items. Can also order through facebook. From Firefly to MTG!
I love this place. Its got a lot of variety of goods, the events there are frequently and usually a lot of fun. The people who work there are friendly and helpful and the store itself is always nice and clean. 10/10 game store in my opinion
Good selection of cards and very helpful staff. Always willing to help. I had a huge order of cards and was helped without question. I was also offered notification of a product I wanted that was not in store yet and was told I would be told when they had it in right away. One of the best game stores I have been to in a 16 year magic the gathering career.
Nice selection of board games at fair prices. A decent amount of space for gaming. Events scheduled daily with there typically being room to just drop in and play. With snacks in the shop and multiple food options in the strip mall to choose from.
The guy behind the counter was a nerd which is perfect when youre asking about nerdy stuff. That being said, he knew everything I wanted to know about. The store has a small selection of the most modern classic board games. SmashUp, munchkin etc. Most of the store is dedicated to the play area for events.
This has been my husband and mines haunt for about 3+ years now. They have D&D supplies, board game painted and unpainted miniatures for warhammer as well as D&D and Pathfinder. And Lots of Magic the Gathering cards. Come for Magic draft, Saturday D&D, Tuesday Pathfinder or just of a quick boardgame from there library. David is a great guy who owns and operates the place and will do whatever he can to help you feel welcome and at home.
Small space, but friendly staff and pretty good selections.
They helped me get back into MTG!The staff is very friendly and does not mind tutoring one on one if it is not too crowded.
Been going there for awhile now for all my tabletop goods; Always good to have a FLGS with people that have interest and knowledge of the products!
Love these folks. Good place to play & shop.
