This is a lovely place. It was so nice to know that when we moved down here we could find a place like this. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Always a great game shop to stop in for magic, dungeons and dragons, painting supplies or board games. Was even able to pick up a board game I just could not find anywhere else, which made my day.

Nice guy working there. Theres certainly a good selection of stuff. Army Painter supplies was nice to see. And even the thing I couldnt find he special ordered for me. The prices are the same or cheaper that standard retail which is actually a lot cheaper than normal considering usual internet mark ups on out of print stuff. I just hope they get more business. Itd be nice to have game nights here once the COVID junk is over.

Great supply of board & card games, TTRPG content, miniatures, etc. I know they offer more, but those are the main attractions for me. Warm greeting, friendly service, and always willing to order whatever you need. Its absolutely my #1 FLGS.

Great game selection including some Kickstarter retail stuff. Super friendly owner who even remembered me even though I hadn’t been there in a while and wasn’t even like a regular. Prices are standard retail but a good space. Will be fun to use their tables once COVID clears up.

I randomly drove by this place. Its a small table top game store with half of it dedicated to letting you play the games on tables they have setup. You can buy games, game peices, paint, dice, etc. It was a hot day and the A/C was working well! Its not a place I would utilize but I hope the for the business.

Always a good store. Friendly, knowledgeable about games. In non-covid times theyll play games with you and help you learn games.Theyre good for board games, d&d, warhammer, pathfinder, MTG, Pokemon, and a few collectibles like wallscrolls and even some handcrafted items. Overall great environment, 15/10 would go again. And I have.

This is your standard neighborhood game shop and its absolutely wonderful. It reminds me of everything I miss from the one I used to frequent back where Im from in NY. I try to stop in here at least once a week to see what new stuff they have. In addition to picking up some goodies to help support the business. Especially in these difficult times. The prices are comparable to other stores and the customer service is great. After visiting here a couple of times youll realize that theres a strong sense of community. Thank you folks for everything you do!

The owner is really nice and knowledgeable about his products. He hadnt played the game I had looked at, but he knew it had been nominated for a German board game prize and how well put together a game had to be to even be nominated. Theres a good selection of games but not huge. Everything you could need for d&d though.

Good store. Still in its growing years but climbing that ladder fairly quickly. The employees are great at what they do and what they know, and I have tried to stump one or two of them. Great events and event calendar. Overall it is a great start to a new store in my area. It will be interesting to see where it goes.

My son wanted to check out this new game shop. On our first visit we looked around and found they do Magic tournaments on Fridays. He and a friend went tonight and had a great time. While there, I looked around as they have a lot of games my family likes such as Sushi Go and Exploding Kittens. I chatted with a sales guy (I wish I had gotten his name) & asked tons of questions. He was very knowledgeable and helped me find two new games: say anything and Pandemic. The owner rang me up and we chatted for a bit too. He is a really nice guy! It is awesome to have a fun shop like this close to home. I love supporting small local businesses like this where the staff is nice & prices are good. We will be back.

Nice place the owner is nice and friendly. Only problem I have with the place is nothing is priced. So you have to ask how much this is or this is. Some of the books have msrp or what have you but other products are with out a price.

A spacious and friendly store! I go there on Monday nights for their Board Game night. Outside food is allowed as long as your clean up yourself, and they sell drinks and snacks should you need it. A good sized library is available for games to play if your dont have any of your own. Selection varies for all board game interests.

The owner seems like hes got a good plan for the shop. Hes friendly and invested in his customers experience.There are open - area tables for games and gaming. Theres a closed room for games which might be a bit mature for young players in the family - friendly open area.The shop is well lit and *properly ventilated*, with a fair amount of space. It didnt feel dark, cramped, or funky.There is a wide variety of games for sale, too.The shop doesnt seem to focus on any particular element of gaming, but rather gaming as a whole. I found role-playing games, card games, board games, and strategy games. I didnt see computer games or consoles, but that doesnt mean it couldnt happen.Ive seen a lot of gaming shops, and I really like this one. I will return.

Honestly the best game store Ive ever been to, the staff and store owner are extremely welcoming, and the atmosphere and environment is friendly, accepting, and accommodating. The store owner is one of the nicest people Ive ever met. Cannot recommend enough.

I love this store! They do an absolutely amazing job of being an LGS, and I am sad that I didnt start going here sooner. The owner is an incredible guy, and he has really put together a wonderful store. As you walk in, you might hear him say welcome home--an apt description of what this place feels like. It has amazing decor, and all of the employees are really kind. They have every board game you might ever want, as per its name, and anything you cant find they will help you get. Everyone is so helpful, and I truly enjoy going here. If you have any doubts, leave them here-- you should go to this game store!

A really fun place to go. Kent has been long overdue when it comes to gaming stores. (Especially good ones) so this place is a breath of fresh air. Large game selection and good prices. After going here for the first time, I was very pleased by nearly everything about the store. Lots of open space, considerate and easy to talk to staff, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and light-hearted. I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis.

The only reason I give this place 5 stars is because there isnt an option to give it 10. The people who work here are not only friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, they go out of their way to be helpful. My wife and I stopped in with two of our kids, one of which who is visually challenged, just to kill some time. I think we spent less than $10 while we were there. The whole time we were there the staff talked with us to get to know us. After we left, they took it upon themselves to see if they could find a set of gaming dice for our blind child. When they couldnt find one through their suppliers they found someone to make one on spec. Then took the time to find and contact my wife through her Facebook account. They have earned all of my business. If you are looking for a local gaming store anywhere in the Puget Sound area I would recommend The Gaming Shelf everytime.

Started going here regularly about a week after they opened. It is a great game store with friendly, knowledgeable staff! There is also plenty of space to sit and play games of all sorts.

Have gotten several D&D books, dice and minis here. The staff is super nice and its always a joy to come in. I havent come to their gaming sessions myself but they have a pretty huge gaming area setup and it seems great for anything you may want to play.
