They installed a new garage door and electric opener about 5 years ago, and there was an issue/error I just discovered recently with the install. To their great credit, despite the elapsed time, I sent photos to the dispatcher and she had Matt out here within 2 days to completely fix the problem, no charge whatsoever. He also lubricated the door and demonstrated how and where to lubricate the door to keep it functioning properly. Very happy and appreciative despite the issue with the original install, and Id be happy to do business with them again.

New door installed today and had the BEST experience with our installer Matt. Yes, there was a long lead time for the actual door (it’s a pandemic) but WOW this door was worth the wait. Service, install were exceptional. Thank you!!

Jake was my installer and I think he did a great job.Due to some A/C tubing that needs to be moved the job is not 100% complete. Jake reassured me that he would be able to come out and finish the 2nd door when I had the tubing moved. It was easy to be believe him.

Poor customer service. (i havent even got the door installed yet). i see that is a common theme throughout the ratings. i am hoping the installation is better then their communications. Pro door seems like a high volume outfit - like costco, only without the customer service. Hoping i can upgrade this review later but so far pretty displeased. also, paid $5,000 for an 8ft door with glass windows. seems a hefty price for the treatment.

Matt installed my garage door today. He called me first thing this morning, let me know when he would be doing my install based on his schedule. I was so appreciative of that, that way I could plan my day. Matt did an amazing job, great guy, explained all about the maintenance to keep the door in excellent work order. I did not expect to be so impressed with this process. Matt is what made the experience so impressive, many companies sell garage doors but it’s the people that make the difference and Matt definitely made a difference! When I first inquired about which door I wanted with the window panels and design, they told me itll take about 8 weeks for the door to be installed due to low supplies. Thats understandable so I signed the contract and ended up waiting 12 weeks until I finally called them and got an appointment setup. The installer was very professional and quick. Im happy with the door, but I wasnt happy when he said my window panels are delayed. He said Door Pro America would call within a couple weeks to come get the panels installed. Its been 6 weeks so I called them today and the lady who picked up said they can come next thursday then all of a sudden switched to we have to order it so itll take a few weeks. No other information except that.I get it. The pandemic has made ordering the materials a pain in the butt. But I havent gotten any real estimated time frames as to when I should expect the panels. I paid to have the panels installed with the door not 2+ months after. Honestly, I have no idea if Im even going to receive the panels.Whatever date or time frame they tell you, add two months. Id also call them beforehand to make sure they have the items in stock instead of making you play a guessing game.

Best experience on my new garage door installation. The one installer arrived right on time first thing in morning and completed installation in a few hours. Looks and works great! Would definitely recommend Door Pro.

Purchased our garage door thru Costco. Once the payment was made in February, Costco stepped back and let Amarr door screw us around. Got 3/4 of a garage door installed a few weeks ago.. Door Pro did the install flawlessly. The last piece arrived today and again was installed perfectly. Again Amarr Garage door tried to screw with the rebate. If you want a great door installed by a great company go straight to Door Pro. Screw Costco and Amarr Door.

The customer service is very good, and the quality is excellent, however the attention to detail was not. They had to come out 3 times to finally get the fit/ install right. Please be very specific on what you want and don’t expect the sales guy to know it all. The warranty is excellent so make them fix it until it is right.

Garage consultant arrived on time and was conscientious of our budget when making product recommendations. Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the soonest installation date was 4 week later. To start with I have no doors so I do not know about installation or workmanship or quality of product. This review is on the ordering and lack of installation.I ordered thru Costco on on January 29th 2021. The estimator was nice and knowledgeable. He advised me to go with white doors as the Grey I wanted would take a couple months and the white is just a few weeks to install because THEY ARE IN STOCK. I listened to him and ordered feeling comfortable that it is thru Costco. Finally got a call mid February that they could set up my install on March 3rd. Great right. Well on March 2nd this lady calls and tell me and tells me that they do not have my doors and they should be in this Friday the 5th. Ok I say... do I have to wait a month for install date and she says no I will call you Friday and set up new date...Ok I say. Friday comes and goes so I send email to estimator and he replys that he will have them call me. Monday the 8th of March she calls. Tells me they still do not have the doors and that she can set up install after April 14th. I say Hold on it is going to be more than a month to receive something that is in stock? She says they are not in stock and still waiting.Now mind you I should have ordered the Grey as it will be at least 2-3 months to receive the in stock white doors.I ask can I cancel and she says no you had 3 days to cancel and I ask so if it takes 1 or 2 years for you to install I still cannot cancel and she says Read your contract. I say just set it up for the 15th and said goodbye.Not once did she ever say sorry for the inconvenience. I feel you frustration. I will work to get this taken care of....Nothing just a mean little robot that does not care. Probably the worst phone person I have ever dealt with. Getting to someone that actually will help you is near impossible. My next call will be to Costco and see what they can do.My advice is be very careful as they will tell you what you want to hear and get you to sign that contract and then you are left to fend for yourself. I will update this with Costcos response.

We had a warehouse door and 4 garage door openers installed. They worked fast and efficiently and we love our new warehouse door and opener and they are nice and quiet too. Should have done it sooner.

Just delayed by a month and the lady on the phone was terrible to work with. Lacey was the rudest person to speak with on the phone. Claims it is not their fault and they just mark up the doors and install them. She clearly has no respect for customers. I cannot believe they have someone who is so defensive and unapologetic as their main customers service person. appalling. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE.

Door, tracks, seals, opener and controls all work well and are quiet compared to old chain drive and metal track wheels. Safety features will prevent accidents. Door arrived as scheduled and was installed in a few hours.

Timothy, our garage door installer, was punctual and totally professional in all of the work he performed while on-site. He methodically disassembled the entire existing garage door; then laid out all of his tools and new door hardware, and systematically, with ease and confidence, assembled and installed new rails and door in what seemed like just a matter of minutes. We had a wonderful experience with Door Pro America. The sales person was friendly and gave all the options explaining the benefit of each level but no pressure which to select. We scheduled the install and received a call the morning of advising when the installers would arrive. The were right on time. I wish I could remember their names. The two were friendly and professional sayinh it would take about two hours. Those two were very efficient and worked the entire time. They removed our two old roll up doors and a garage door opener and installed the new doors and two openers and all the controls in two hours. The new doors are beautiful and work superbly. These installers were very skilled and top notch. They answered any questions we had and hauled off all the old stuf . . I would recommend Door Pro America for any of your garage door needs. Truly professional from start to finish and no hidden expenses. 👍👍

The installer called ahead, showed up on time, was courteous and professional. He removed both old doors and installed new doors (including all new hardware) in just a few hours. The young man that did the work was very efficient, did wonderful work, and instructed us on operation perfectly. A very nice young man. You would think he could do anything he wants. A 10 on human interface per mom and me. His name was Nathan I think.

I asked for a an update on my door, installed in 2017. The tech - Tom - came down from Portland. Replaced the ground seal, tighten the spring, replaced a missing guide wheel and lubricated the rails. Outstandingjob !

So far not getting a good grade. I was told that they had my door in the warehouse and all I had to do was modify the opening. I did that and now two months later Im still waiting, with no install date and they only have a month left on the contract to install. Very dissapointed in the sales team, seems they will tell you anything to get the sale but not follow through.

The guys that came to install our new doors and openers were so very friendly, efficient and helpful. They cleaned up our old door hardware and made it much better than they needed to do. They cleaned the new doors and made sure all was perfect and quiet before they left. They took their time giving us a lesson on how to care for our hardware.We are very happy and house looks so much nicer because of the new doors!

Total fiasco.I would strongly caution against doing business with this company.List of the issues we’ve had in a single order:1. Doors were measured improperly when the salesman was at our house. This was unknown at the time.2. The wrong doors were ordered, the specific configuration does not exist.3. Doors that do exist were ordered. They were cheaper than the originals, and we had to tell them to issue a new contract with the lower price.4. The wrong-size doors arrived for installation. The installer pushed us to install unfinished trim to “make them fit.” We said no.5. A very long while later, he agreed to re-measure and re-order the doors. But suggested that they were doing us a HUGE favor by fixing their mistake.6. After making it clear that there’s been serious issues and delays through winter and asking what they would do about it, they offered 6% off! That’s insultingly low! Lowe’s offered 10% for a small mistake not long ago.

The installer and other service people were really nice to work with. I experienced kind, friendly and professional interactions both over the phone and in person. Should be a zero. Seems SEXIST and has zero personality or sales skills. Doug came over for a quote and was immediately put off that he had to deal with me instead of my Husband. Took a quick measurement and said hed prefer to discuss details on the phone with my Husband. I said we had you here for a quote...He said he couldnt really give me a quote, because he didnt know what kind of garage door that my Husband wanted. Are you kidding me? He didnt explain anything, and only answered yes and no to my questions. Needless to say, he wont be hearing from me or my Husband but Costco will be hearing from me, and so will a better garage door company. Do better. @Costco

I requested an estimate through Costco -- members entitled to cash back! The company and its representative, Giovanni, were very professional and not your usual high-pressure sales pitch. I ordered my door, an appointment for installation was made and the installation and installer were great!

Agree with previous posts, this company gets the thumbs down. Also similar to former comments, it started with the person who came out to give the estimate. He was abrupt, unhelpful, and lacked nearly all people skills. Afraid to step inside the garage to actually visualize the mechanism because our stuff could harm him, or he could harm our stuff. Liability you know. Totally asinine. Proceeded to let us know how difficult the install would be, requiring additional labor charges, and require a site visit. He failed to actually enter the garage to see how easy the access would be, visualizing it from a distance. By the time this guy was finished talking, there was absolutely no way we were going to use this company. Contacted them through Costco. Beware.

Great experience all around. From first talking to Mary in costco, the very knowledgeable salesman John who helped us with all our questions and helped us pick the perfect garage door, to the awesome and skilled Jason that came out to our house for the install. Who worked hard to make sure we were satisfied in all of our needs in every way possible. I highly recommend this company.

Had 3 doors 3 openers put in and I couldnt be happier. Installer was very professional and knowledgeable only took 1 guy 5 hours. Went over how to maintain my doors, explained everything in detail and didnt mind me watching. 5/5 love this company and will recommend then to anyone.

The installer Steven was the only good thing about this company. First the sales person ordered a custom size door that I didnt need. Steven requested a new door be sent onsite while he waited. The second door didnt have the windows, so I had to wait two additional two weeks to get my job completed. Again, Steven made all of this happen, not the office. He gets 5+ stars!. Second, I was told that it would take 1 month to get my door in, it took 3. And the last straw for me was when I asked to speak to management to ensure that I wasnt charged for a custom door, the flippant girl on the phone said you didnt, but was unable to give me a cost comparison.I will never work with this company again. The product is quality, but the management is shady. I will always believe they over billed me for a custom product I didnt need. Otherwise they would have been on the phone with the numbers. They run many promotions out of Costco, so buyer beware.

We arranged out appt. through Costco 2 weeks ahead of time. They called a few days before to reschedule and then 2 day later someone said Ill be here at this time. When the sales rep John T. came over he was very dismissive and rude to my wife. Every time she asked a question he would say I already told you that.. A couple of examples: My wife wanted to see the color examples again and he said You already saw them We also wanted to see the color samples outside, he decided to stay inside. The colors clearly didnt match our trim but he insisted it would look good without even coming out there. He told us we must have had the tiny sample backwards. After that he kept screwing up our quote and we had to keep correcting him. Not impressed.

We received a call letting know when to expect the installers. They were very professional, showing us exactly what they were going to do. Afterwards, they made sure we understood how our new system worked. We couldn’t be happier with our new door and opener!

Too bad there are not ZERO stars!!! This company is a nightmare, starting with the person that went to our house to sell the door. He was rude, racist and so pushy, he didnt want to listen to me but only my husband, he had a binder with all the door options, steel, brands, etc and he only focused on selling their more expensive door in the binder, also pushed us for windows saying that it would help us if we wanted to sale our home one day, and gave us only one option for the motor, all or nothing... I wanted to spend 1700 to 2000 in a door and my dumb husband ended up buying a twice expensive door because he ate all the seller told him.Now, to get an appointment for the installation grab a chair to seat and wait because they dont have openings for weeks and weeks and if you have to reschedule get ready because they wont do anything to help you except to put you at the end of the list again.

Seriously, the most frustrating experience ever. Costco did a special. A guy came out and we selected a door and asked for a wider opening. The sales guy assured us this would be possible and included the construction of the wider opening in the bid. I paid in full. A week later a guy came out to measure. 4 weeks later, we were wondering where the door was because our paperwork said itd be completed within 4 weeks.When I called them to check in, they said they needed to remeasure. A guy came out and remeasured. He also came back the next day to get a lumber list. He said my door should be in in 2-3 more weeks.Two weeks later I get a call that says, they changed their minds and they cant do the construction.IT TOOK TWO MONTHS FOR THEM TO TELL ME THEY COULDNT WIDEN MY OPENING. That should have been disclosed prior to me spending $4000 and wasting 2 months getting nothing done. Additionally, I had to call them, they had ZERO customer service skills to call me and update me along the way.

They rescheduled the installation appointment, which was fine because it was done ahead of time. Anyhow, I had a 4 hour window on Friday 9/29/2017 between 8am and noon for the installer to show up, but he never showed up and didnt even bother to call me. So, I called them around 11am, and they told me that the installer would show up around 2pm, which never happened. I waited until around 4pm and called them again. They told me that the installer would show up after 6pm or 7pm. Because this was an installation that would take four hours, even if the installer had showed up 6 or 7pm, the installation wouldnt have been completed by 10 or 11pm. So, I told them not to worry about coming out to my house any longer.The lessons learned with this company is that NEVER do any business with this company for your garage doors. FYI, I purchased a garage door and a garage motor through Costco.

I am in the middle of an order with Door Pro America and the installation is scheduled 1.5 months later than originally stated. It has been difficult to get information about the status of my order. The technicians missed an appointment with a 4-hour window without calling. I was never informed by the company about any rescheduling re-the install or technicians visit. I have had to follow-through with them at every turn and often they do not return my calls. Calls are forwarded to their office on the East Coast.I placed the order through Costco and have also informed them about my disappointment.

@JulieHalinen below. Similar experience w/ their drivers. I saw one of their trucks literally run someone off of the I-5. The Door Pro truck had Washington plates. Then later in the drive, I saw the same driver talking on his cell while driving (illegal in the state of WA). The truck was older and likely didnt have Bluetooth. Door Pro needs to wake up and do something before someone gets hurt ot worse.

Friendly installers worked quickly, pointed out care instructions and answered all questions.

The drivers working for this company have tailgated us and layed on the horn because we turned. Highly unprofessional. Will be sure to spread the word.
