The Mendocino College Coastal Field Station is supported primarily by donations from community members. Working with a wonderful concept by John Locke, Quiring created a beautiful donor commemoration for our facility as we continue to support the mission of Mendocino College by fostering high-impact experiential learning across all disciplines and encouraging community engagement in the enterprise of education. It is often said that the best way to honor someone is to not just remember what they did, but reflect how they did it.My late father started with the job of raising me at age 19, by the time he was 22 he was going to do this alone when he passed away at age 60 I was at a complete loss and like most people found myself in the state of confusion and not knowing how to deal with in honor the man who given up most of his life to raise me.I found myself very fortunate to be in touch with David at Quring monuments who not only was familiar with all of cemeteries in the area but was able to quickly give me some peace of mind in options and being able to honor my fathers memory and have a monument his workmanship and craft mirrored very careful nature of my father‘s career as a machinist.You see in the photos that tremendous amount of care and went into creating the urn where my father’s earthly remains now reside.The quality of workmanship is legendary, and the amount of care that goes in to delivering the monuments would make it seem as if you were receiving this from another family member. The past 12 months have brought a lot of change to the world and to my family. I lost my mom and was at a loss for where to turn for a memorial stone that would be something exactly right for her. Lacy was very helpful in getting a memorial made for my mother. She rushed the order so I was able to see it while visiting my hometown on a weekend (I dont get up there very often) and I truly appreciate her quick responses and professionalism.

Quiring Monuments were extremely patient and helpful with everything that I wanted and needed with my mothers gravestone. It turned out beautifully. Their team was very professional and made me feel like family. I did not have to worry about anything when they were in charge of shipping and communicating with the memorial site to make sure that everything went smoothly. I am going to be referring Quiring Monuments in the future.

We purchased a memorial stone for my daughter after she passed away, we had it delivered to Quiring Monuments to be engraved and then delivered and placed on our property. It took them 9 weeks to do the engraving. And it has now been at their place of business for 5 weeks since it has been engraved and ready for delivery. Despite repeated attempts to contact them, I still do not have a delivery date, and now they have stopped returning our messages all together. I am extremely unhappy with this service and would not recommend them.

My brother and I contacted Quiring Monuments Feb. 2013 about creating a head stone for our parents. Our father passed away over 21 years ago and our mother could never bring herself around to buying a stone for him. She said it would finalize his death for her. My four brothers and I decided to surprise her with a double stone to memorialize their everlasting love for each other. Quiring Monuments helped us to create the most beautiful stone to represent our parents personalities and went above our dreamed envision! Now our parents have the best looking memorial on the block in the cemetery!Lisa, the lady we were working with, kept in touch with us on a regular basis and even photographed the behind the scene making of the stone. It was great to see all of the hard work that went into it. Every one who sees it falls in love with the beautiful art work and are blown away by the craftsmanship. Thank you so much for helping our dreams for the perfect stone to memorialize our parents love come true!

Quiring was able to take the idea I had in my head and translate it into a beautiful memorial for my husband. When his mother saw the finished piece she was stunned. The portrait of my husband, her son, was as real as looking at him in person. They captured the essence of his personality. Its a terrible thing to have to need a memorial for my husband at a young age, I am so grateful for their talent and consideration.

I am so pleased with my Sterlings stone . He was from Washington and wanted to rest there . I made the trip and was so pleased with the perfection upon actually seeing the stone .
