This location is horrible! There has not been a single visit that has gone well. The staff is clueless. I have gone in to update prescriptions only to have contacts ordered with the old prescription instead. I waited 30 minutes just to check out from an appointment only to watch the staff sit there & answer phone calls. On another occasion, I arrived 5 minutes late & they wouldn’t see me. The patient is absolutely not the priority nor is acknowledging the fact that families are trying to be patient with all the medical appointment changes & rules during COVID-19 times. We are supposed to work together and this place is barely working!
Arrived 9 min. Late from a 45 min trip for my appt. (Delayed due to fender bender from another car on my way) they turned me away and refused to see me. Beyond TICKED!!!! Awaiting a call back for a future appt. Ill see how long this takes
I’ve been wearing glasses for 60 years. Had to get 2 exams. The first was a joke to begin with the new lenses where worst than the ones I’d had for 8 yrs! Second wear better! Frame adjustment was next to nothing.
I had to write a review for this place because I honestly havent been treated so kindly and friendly from an establishment before in my life. I was treated like a family member by the staff. I am also not one to socialize but I had nothing but a great experience here when communicating with the staff. I was shocked by chantels review, but she may of just wanted a quick in and out and no socialization, which some people do. I did have to wait a few minutes before I was seen but I find that to happen with every doctors/dentist or optometrist appointment I have ever been to. The exam probably took 20-30 minutes but also because we were just talking about general interest and life events. The woman that helped me order my contacts was great and let me know about any deals I could get. I will be returning to this office on the fact of how well I was treated alone.
Avoid at all costs. Better to be blind than have to deal with this business. Want to receive zero service and feel like a burden to their day? This is your place!
Dr. Danko was very friendly and sociable. To a young adult who knows absolutely nothing about eyes, he made it very easy to understand the issues with mine. Will definitely be recommending Rx Optical to my loved ones.
Safe operation for these times
Terrible customer service. They gave us the wrong prescription for contacts. We called to inform them of their mistake and not once did they apologize or say anything close to that. When we went in for pick up the lady barely said hi. Went to the back, came out with the correct prescription contacts and that was the end of it. No apologies, no good bye, no nothing.
I came in one day for a exam and to purchase and they had no appointments although the parking lot was empty. I had her call 60th and Kalamazoo and they got me right in even though I was 20 minutes early. Breton on the other hand, are slow as molasses! Will not see you before your appointment time. There selection is garbage! Every fricken time I need to reschedule they claim to be so booked but when we arrive the parking lot is empty. I believe in great customer service but this location is a joke. When my daughter came for contact exam, we had to wait 10 minutes after the our appointment time which took 20 minutes for her exam. The lady talking to us about prices took longer. Why does she need to be seen again if no problems??? Wasting my time

My mother loves the doctor. He was very kind and treated her with plenty of respect. He knew how to fix her problem .
Pathetic service for billing. Three times since November coverage was denied because they billed the wrong company. Today we gave them the information for the fourth time . Incompetence at its worst.
