I have had my car since 2016 and still paying on it. I have asked them Numerous of times to make my payments monthly and they said I could not cause I do not get paid that way. So here we are in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic and I my payment was do 8/20/2020. And today is 8/25/2020 I have told them I can make the payment on 9/1/2020 but they can not expect that no if and or butts so they are threatening me to repo my car on Thursday 8/27/2020. Remind you I have not messed a payment at all since I have had the car. Have I missed something I bought my car when it was J.D Byrider but the person who own that went into bankruptcy so now it’s terry auto. I have asked for the number that they are getting the order from to come repo my car and they will not give it to me. yall take my car I have paid on since day one which I have paid for my 06 Kia like 5 times already if not more will be the day..... wish I can add a photo of the text from them on here.......

My experience was very positive. From the time that I stepped in the door until the time I purchased my car I felt comfortable and very pleased. It felt like a family atmosphere. I had doubt that I would be able to obtain a car however Chris worked tirelessly to make this possible. I truly do appreciate all that he has done for me.

After purchasing my car in 2014, I have always continued to take my car back to their service center to be serviced. They always work me in and have my car like brand new. Gunner always keeps me informed through out the day on how my car is. Hes very friendly and will take great care of your vehicle. I have never had a disappointment with them. Plus its affordable. You cant beat $5-$12 oil changes. Thanks guys

I had been talking with a credit consultant a week prior to my visit. He was very helpful, explained everything to a T. Im proud to say Chris Smith did an AWESOME job getting me into my new vehicle. While they will get you in a car but you will end up paying 5 times as much for the car. For example my vehicle blue book rating is are $6000, according to the contract I will be paying $25k when all is said and done. They draw you will kindness and then go for jugular.

Absolute foolishness! Not quite understanding how you can charge someone an extra $5 to make there car payment over the phone because of some fee the card machine provider charges you all! But yet use the same machine to make a payment in store and not charge the fee! This is very inconvenient for any and everyone! Fair is fair and this isnt it! The cost for the cars are already jacked up higher then what they are worth it should be very easy to pay the $10 charge!

Youll ruin your credit and over pay You can get a better vehicle from better people at a better price.)Im paying 20,000+ on a very used, 6 year old vehicle.This place is absolutely AWFUL! The take advantage of people in poor financial and credit situations. They do the same thing at all of their locations (that I wish I would have read about before I bought the car. 1) they will take you into their office and show you a flip board which is basically a powerpoint of how wonderful they are and what they can do for you. 2) they will tell you OVER AND OVER again how they are your only option. 3) they give you an option of like 3 cars. 4) and then they will bully you into your vehicle. My fiance was there for me and told them multiple times that we wanted to keep looking only intimidated into actually looking at the car. I went to test drive it, and my fiance had to be at work shortly after, and once he left, the pressure was on. I wanted to think about my options, but like I said, I felt intimidated into signing papers. Granted, Im an adult, and can make my own choices, but Ive never purchased a car, and easily pressured. So, I get the car, and have it about a month when it needs to be repaired. THEN my fiance loses his job. Were good people, who (had) decent jobs, who have full intensions on making the payments, but for a TWO WEEK period, there were other things more important that making the car payment. I went in, told them my situation, ready to pay on the account (not in full) and they wouldnt accept it. So in short, they would rather take no-money than some money. Whats eventually going to happen is Im not going to be able to make the next two payments in full and my car will get repossessed. Its going to ruin my credit and they dont care at all. Theyre not willing to work with me AT ALL. Except they will say 1000 times that theyre willing to work with me IF I can make my payments on time. (AKA-NOT working with me)

I would not recommend this place to anyone. My husband and I were desperate for a car and this seemed like our only option. They take advantage of people with their quick talk. These people are bullies. 20% interest on a 2005 car is just ridiculous. This was our first time purchasing a vehicle, so thank you JD Byrider for making this experience horrible for us.

I had a,really good experience no money to put down and bad credit. I was in major need of a reliable car for my daughter and I. Lee and the rest of the crew help me out and i wasnt in there all day and I really like my ride. This place is to help built your credit and if you have bad credit they still give you a chance to clean it up yes intrest is high but thats what happens when you dont have good credit and thats anywhere.!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone ask for Lee hes awesome. And not to mention that you have a 3 year or 36000 warranty were they will fix your vehicle you almost never find a deal like that on a used car.

I went to the J.D Byrider in Greensboro on July 1st. It was a good expierence but after I got my car it all went down hill. They were constantly calling and harrassing me for my down payment that wasnt due until friday. On day 3 of having the car it wouldnt go over 15 mph. It has been in the shop for the 4th time now cause it finally died on me. They will not fix my car correctly and are very rude about it. I will never go through another J.D Byrider again for anything. As soon as I pay this car off I will be so happy! I do not recommend anyone to these people. And of course the next week after buying the car the Greensboro dealership shut down and they didnt even let me know that. If i knew i would have never got a car there. Biggest mistake of my life was choosing this awful place!!!

I had got a 07 and was paying I know 20.000 for it and me and my kids was in a car wreck and totaled the car so I o 15.000pn my 07 when it was totaled was not on me another person run the red light but inc gave me 6.000 for my car so Im stuck paying 9.000 that I have to pay I was paying 422 a mouth on my 07 the day after my wreck they was blowing my phone up wanting a car payment and called my job almost got my fired and called my family wanting them to pay my car payment them again the day after the wreck they want there money they set u up for failure paying on a 07 at 422 a monthly. For 5 years its crazy if any one could help plz dont go there its not a place they just want ur money dont car about u or ur family

The sales person was very nice that said they could help me out with a car but I had a N.Y. drivers license they told me I had to get a NC drivers license but when I called the DMV here in North Carolina to change my class A CDL drivers license the fold me I need to get a car in my name and to be insurance I had the insurance but J D Byrider said I need to have a nc drivers license they need to check with DMV for the laws to change over a CDL drivers license I called the DMV they told me what I needed I was over at JD Byrider getting a car in my name so I could change my CDL drivers license over to a North Carolina CLD drivers license I came home with no car

Just want to say they are life savers me and family had shopped all day long for a car but everyone said no or co-x or worst $2500 down I only had $400 to my name plus enough for my insurance my dad said there is no way in hell your getting a car with a repo and really no money down but I had to try my job and family was counting on me to get a reliable car... So I went in tall black guy named Reggie was the first person I met he told me to come in and he would go over there program I thought they where like the rest in mind I was waiting on him to no or co-x like the rest...... after 45mins he came back in the office with some keys in his hands told to come outside and said I three cars you can buy today based on my $400 cash one was buick regal, ford Taurus and kia Rio I picked the Buick of course still have it to this day my oil changes are $5 guys am not making this up everything went smooth they treated me like I had good credit all I wanna say is WOW they ROCK and I have sent friends and family to See Mr. Reggie Newkirk he is a great guy that will go out of his way to help thanks to everyone that had a part in getting me APPROVED JD to RESCUE LOL I LOVE IT THANKS REGGIE AND ALL THE STAFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

J.D. had a bad stigma when I asked around and read reviews. We have been with them and CNAC financing since August of 2016. They treated us with respect and curtosey. I would recommend them to anyone needing a car.

My husband and I went to JD Byrider and was told that we could get into ANY vehicle for just 300. Well, we went and looked at the cars because we are working on getting our credit better as we both went through terrible divorces, etc. I found a Malibu that I wanted more than anything else, but the salesman(Lee Smith) came back and told us that we had ONLY 3 choices. Those choices were nothing but CRAP and were OVER PRICED!!!! Next thing they told us is that we had to make another 3 payments of 225 in just the next week and a half to cover what we didnt pay!!!! I informed them of when we got paid and that we wouldnt be able to pay anything until the first of the month. They said they had no grace period. Being that my other vehicle I owned was messed up, I had to find something. They stuck us in an 05 Cavalier that was going to be 15,000 after it was paid for!!!!!!!! That is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! When we got the vehicle home, we took it to a good friend of ours that owns a body shop just to find out that this car has been wrecked and painted!! It had the over spray all over the windows and had glue on various spots to hold things on!!! We received a call the morning when they were wanting the first payment of 225 as well. I told the lady that we were aware of when the payment was due and that we were not children!!! She was VERY RUDE and I told her that she was harassing us and I would NOT stand for it!! Well, I found a NICE truck for us to ride for only 4,500 and that is what we got. We purchased it from Southern Auto Sales (Chuck is the salesman) and those people are AMAZING to deal with and they are not pushy like stupid JD Byrider!!! I sent the pos Cavalier back and DARED THEM to put it on our credit!! I wouldnt recommend these people to anyone! I also told them that I am waiting on 1,000 acres of land to sell that I inherited and that when I received the money for it, they need to EXPECT a court date with my husband and I. I am GOING TO SUE THE PANTS OFF THESE PEOPLE FOR AN ILLEGAL CAR FAX AND ALSO FOR PHONE HARRASSMENT!! I just feel that someone needs to step up to the plate and put these people out of business. It should be a major sin to take so much money from good people that are just trying to survive in this world! I dont care if I have to pay 10k, I AM going to let a judge know just what kind of business these idiots are running!!!! They think that just because your credit isnt the best that you HAVE to buy from them!!! Thank God we received a check that we had been waiting on for a long time in JUST the right time. Our payments were going to be 415.00 for 31 months on the Cavalier, plus the 3 payments of 225.00!! Well? When we went to Southern Auto Sales in Lexington, we paid 1200 down on a 2003 Ford F150 (in mint condition and low miles) and our payments are ONLY 225 and we only owe 3800 on it!! Just shows you what GOOD car dealers will do for you and Chuck at Southern Auto Sales is totally HONEST!! I could think of other CHOICE words to call the people at JD Byrider, but if I post that, my review wont be listed. Hope everyone reads this and PLEASE BEWARE of JD Byrider!! They are rude, harassing, and will take EVERY red cent that you make, and will put you in a pos car!!

We had a TERRIBLE experience with this joint!!! Very greasy, rude people!!! Just look at the statement here from the owner!!! He says that J.D. Byryder of Kernersville has been in buisness for 20 years and has sold 800,000 cars!!! DO THE MATH!!!! Based on 300 days a year, (they are closed on Sundays) and multilied by 20 years, this would have the Kernersville dealership selling 133 cars EVERYDAY (on average)!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!! How can they make such a stupid statement??? I bet they don`t even sell that many cars for a whole six-month period!!!! How can they make such a STUPID statement?????????? I would stay FAR away!!!!
