They take care of their customers. I went in for an inspection and my license plate illumination bulbs were out. They did not charge me to replace. They are quick and friendly. I usually go there for my oil changes, but sometimes go elsewhere due to convenience. I most certainly will always return for oil changes as their service is superior to others.

I used to go to this place for inspections and oil changes. Never had a bad thing to say. Just got the oil changed in my wifes car and it cost me $96! After challenging the price, I was told the price of of oil has gone up 3 times since last time you were here. Bull. Im not a confrontational guy and the work had already been done so I paid knowing I was getting ripped off. Never going back nor would I recommend anyone else to unless you are into paying $96 for 6 quarts of oil.

Had my oil changed exactly a month ago. Parked this weekend on concrete driveway for first time since then and had oil on the drive. Went back and told them my oil filter canister was leaking. They wiped it totally dry and told me it had never leaked. Disagreed with them and then the f words started from the manager to me. Below is a pic of what the canister looks like 18 hours after they wiped it dry. Me and my 4 vehicles will never go back.

First thing that strikes you is the strange layout of the place. When you pull-in, youre facing the exit of the garage itself. Theres no office in front. In order to talk to someone about service, its necessary to pull-around, via a narrow one-lane drive, to the backside of the garage (which is where the entrance of the garage is located). This is where the office is located, housing the service writer.Upon entering the front lot (the exit side of the garage), no one signals you as to how to negotiate this weird layout, and no one approaches you. They just stare at you from inside the garage -- and at least one made audible, rude comments about me. The reason, it seems, that no one talks to you in the front, is that they want you to enter the que before talking to you. In forcing you to drive around the building, the intention seems to be to block you from leaving.Once in this que, at the back side of the garage, theres nowhere to turn around as the only opening, which would normally give access to a street exit, is deliberately blocked with strategically placed barrels. The reason for this soon becomes obvious.Once stuck here, the service writer approached me and quoted me a ridiculously high price for an oil change, telling me they dont offer standard oil, but *only* high mileage and synthetic oils. Even with these, the prices quoted were higher than Id ever heard. The idea seemed to be to make you feel stuck in line, with nowhere to turn-around, and then extort you.I told the service writer that I was going elsewhere to have my vehicles oil change. He said that was fine and walked away -- giving no instruction about how to get out of there. And he certainly did not remove, or offer to remove a barrel. I then executed a three point turn, made awkward sharp turns around the building, and exited via the one way drive. Fortunately, there was no one coming-in the opposite direction. Otherwise, one of us would have had to execute some treacherous backward maneuvers to back-out around corners.I then drove to Kerrville Lube Center where I experienced fast, friendly, professional service at a much lower price than Id just been quoted at Texas Express.

Great Guys and they have my favorite oil, Royal Purple!! $15 dollar rebate if you get a purple oil change!!

I pulled in this place for an oil change requesting a weight of oil be used that clearly states in my owners manual is OK for my engine. Since it wasn’t the more expensive oil typically run in my engine the manager refused. Said “it would void the warranty” and slammed my hood closed and said “have a nice day.” I went down the road saved a lot of money, got a military discount and they shook my hand thanking me for my service. I called the dealership and they agreed more and more lube parlors are refusing the cheaper options. Avoid this place unless you’re ok spending a little extra and dealing with terrible attitudes. You have so many options, why risk it?

Im done with this place. I got a vehicle inspected here once. Every other time I brought a vehicle in, the inspector is gone for the day or they arent doing inspections. You are wasting my time. If you cant do inspections, take your sign down.

I use to really like this place till they hired Keven, He was very rude to my wife a month ago so I called the manager, he called back and apologized shortly. So I go in today for oil change and inspection get it done and show my loyalty card, which is important because we have 5 vehicles. Keven says it’s to late it’s closed, I said are you sure nothing you can do nope and was very rude so good luck with this guy, the others were always great.

This place is a joke. They are always friendly but always seem to be recommending services or products that I dont need. They wouldnt inspect my vehicle so I went to another place and they said nothing was wrong with my car and my vehicle passed inspection.

When the attendant walks up to the car, shaking his head, and waving his arms, wouldnt YOU think they were closed or closing? This particular guy said there were a few cars in front of me, and it was about a 20-30 minute wait. Not bad, but he just lost my long-term business, since he waved me away in front of other customers in the first place.

This place is great. I was stuck on side of road and the very nice gentleman Ryan came to looked and we took it to his shop and he fixed it. Was completely above and beyond expectations. Very good service

Preface: I have been here multiple times and have chosen not to return for service do to cosistently poor service. I follow the 3 strike rule.Pros:The service is speedy.The quality is somewhat satisfactory.Cons:There is barely any parking at all.The employees are unfriendly.....which wouldnt be to much of a deal breaker if he were at least honest.***Unfortunately the employees here are dishonest, corrupt, and immoral.***---I brought my truck here to get annual safety inspection and i caught the employee ripping off the rubber from my perfectly good windshield wipers. He then told me that he wont pass my truck today unless I buy new Rainex wipers from him---This company scams, steals, and swindles people.* If this was a helpful review please feel free to drop a like 👍

Went in today to get a transmission flush. The gentleman that helped me was very polite and had a great amount of knowledge. This was the best visit I have ever experienced! The flush only took about 25 minutes and I will definitely be returning!

I took my truck in for an oil change with ONLY 5000 MILES. They suggested a new air filter (>$15.00) and power steering flush ($58.85)! I went there trusting they would be a reliable and honest with their service. Recommending services NOT NEEDED is DISHONIST and a RIPOFF!

Ive been taking my Honda Odessey and my Ford Ranger to this firm for several years. As a prior reviewer stated, they ALWAYS show me a sheet with the services performed on the last visit, as well as any recommended services and what does NOT need to be serviced. They do not press me to have anything done. I know enough about cars to know they are being 100% straightforward with me and if something needs servicing I have them do it. I used to take my Honda to San Antonio for service, but since I found this business, Ive not needed to do that. They are my go-to auto service in Kerrville.

Saw these negative reviews and thought Id add my two cents. After a couple of very frustrating experiences with another company, I decided to try Texas Express. There can be a long wait sometimes, but I have found their service impeccable. They will show me what is scheduled to be done at certain mileages, but never push me in the least to have any of the services done. They sometimes show me the air filter just to say it is fine and doesnt need to be replaced. They are always very friendly. I use them exclusively, even though I have to drive 30 miles to get there. Just my experience and opinion, of course. I use the Kerrville location.

Made a comment about how difficult removing my skid plate was.“What a pain in the a**”Apparently, it was for them. They “forgot”, or neglected at putting the bolts back in. Also, didn’t tighten the ones that were installed.Was driving on 16 and it fell. Sparks flew and metal was bent.........

I didnt find anyting humorous about finding that the inspector left a souvenir from his nose smeared across the center of my steering wheel. Ill bet he remembers my black Mustang now.Added 12/26/2018 This is in response to the owners comments. Texas Department of Public Saftey Inspection records reflect that your business (Station ID #33987) Issued sticker #K37584361 to my vehicle and there is No TAS ID# on file. It would appear that your recrd keeping matches your service and opinions.

Not bad but yes you need to know how to say no to the up sells for flushing and the like can not blame the employee for doing what the boss wants (pushing for the extras). Dont like that the waiting room has no way to watch whats going on with your car. Makes it feel like theres something to hide and very dark a window would be great or a tv hooked to cameras in the bays. Guess Im just used to the places in san antonio where you can watch your car the whole time on tv. But all in all not a bad place. Good prices

Business closes at 530p but at 430pm you cant due inspection. Only 1 car in bay. Donny said tomorrow can do inspection .my time is not valued. Need to post inspection stop at certain time.
