These people have no clue what theyre doing. They charged $1000 for some tie rod end adjustments. I know a great mechanic who can do it for $150. Just a cash grab

The crew at Grismer on Wilmington on were fantastic. They went above and beyond to help us out when we needed new tires and they had troubles with their balancer. Things happen, often out of our/their control and the staff was responsive and eager to help without us having to beg for a solution. They followed through on all their promises, the price was great and true to what I found online. We have a large family and need safe, reliable transportation. Thanks to everyone at Grismer for their help.

I had my fleet managing company arrange the tow and the service garage. I know they called both. After 6;00 pm Friday car was towed to Grismer. Did not hear from Grismer Saturday. I called them Monday and was told they did not get any paperwork with the car so didn’t know what was wrong or who to call.They called fleet manager Monday and gave them the wrong VZiN number, Grismer was told my car was no longer in the fleet. When I spoke with Grismer I was asked if I wanted them to repair the problem and pay for it.I contacted the fleet manager and verified my car is covered, I called Grismer snd gave them a direct number to the fleet manager repair authorization team. They were authorized to replace 4 tires.I called Tuesday at 11:30 was told it would be done at 12:30. Finally received a call to pick up car at approximately 2:00.Disappointing experience

I was originally told it would be over an hour maybe more wait time. I was completely done and back on the road in 45 minutes

Wifes Pacifica got a flat tire, so I called around for a replacement. The only tire company that could provide next day service was Grismer. And after all that searching, turns out Grismer was also the cheapest. Saved money and next day service, plus excellent customer service and technicians. Highly recommend.

Im going to be honest, Ive had a few people tell me not to go to grismer, but I had a serious emergency and absolutely no time to get my flat tire changed before I had to pick up my preschooler at 10:30, they were the only place open early enough for me to even call them when i needed to find a place, and they were completely booked, with their parking lot completely full, and still said although they were completely booked they would make sure they had me out of there before 10:30 so that I could get my daughter, and they did. Very happy with this last experience

Employees where friendly and new what they were doing, service was complete I was given a birthday gift $ 25.00 off service.. they where a little high but I did get warranty on parts and labor..car ran a lot better. Thanks Grismer

This was truly the best experience I’ve ever had at an auto shop. I didn’t really know what the error messages on my dashboard meant, and the rep that helped me was very kind as he explained the potential issue. Many times, as a young women, I get talked down to in auto shops, but I had the exact opposite experience at Grismer. They called me every day to update me and were very honest about what repairs it really needed and what I could hold off on- I didn’t feel like they were just trying to sell me things. I’ll be using grismer again for sure!!

This is the first time Ive used Grismer in Kettering, and I was totally satisfied with their service and professionalism. They got me in very quickly, which was good for me because I was stranded in Kettering. The quote that the gentleman gave me was for 6 ft of brake line to replace at $700.00. I thought that was about $550.00 to high, so I declined the offer and fixed it myself in about 44 minutes and $25.

Pricey, but they took great care of me & my car, in a timely manner. Its difficult to come by a shop that will repair your vehicle in a timely manner, and their service is well worth the prices.

Got my oil changed and was also having a problem with something draining my battery. After running diagnostic tests on my car they found my battery, alternator and starter were in perfect working order. I appreciate the fact that being a single woman with very little car knowledge that they didnt not take advantage of me and just throw parts at my car. The store on Wilmington was honest with me which builds trust. Ill be using their shop from now on.

I managed to get a hold of them they came down and helped me and got my car to the gas station at a busy intersection and having it towed for me and taking care of it. They are nothing but amazing there!

I took my car in for an oil change and new wiper blades. I had made an appointment ahead of time which is the best way to do it as they get very busy. I had my car towed here after I got a flat tire and the tow truck driver was unable to repair it. They got me in right away and were very friendly. The next day, we noticed that one of the tires and have been repaired was not holding pressure and they took a look at it right away and fixed it with no problem. Again, they were very friendly and professional. On a day when nothing seemed to be going right, they were able to help us out.

New Grismer customer, I have been using their services for the last one year on all of my car maintenance. My car is my office so quality of repair is imperative to my business. The customer service is best in class and I am confident in the service checks they perform during my oil changes as recently they discovered I had a valve cover gasket leak and were quickly able to obtain the part and get me scheduled the same week. I love that they provide additional coupons for Grismer credit card holders and they diligently look to see if they can offer you a deal.

I had scheduled a diagnostic because my engine light had come on.This isn’t my first time at Grismer but only my second visit to this location.When I came in for the appointment, there was only one clerk. He didn’t seem particularly friendly. And then I was told it would cost $125 and take an hour and a half for the diagnostic and then longer for the repair; could they give me a ride home?😮I think the price should have been given when I made the appointment. It’s Christmas and $125 is a little steep. I didn’t have the repairs that day.I was told that I needed to have the spark plugs replaced because one was leaking but because I drive a Nissan it would cost over $500 because of where they are located.I discovered after leaving that if the spark plugs were located in a different spot and would cost so much to replace, they couldn’t have actually checked them without getting to them. And I can have them replaced cheaper elsewhere.So at this visit, I have to say I wasn’t overly thrilled with the service or pricing. This particular location is very near my house, but if I can get my free tire rotation and oil changes at any Grismer, I probably will go back to Centerville.

Very disappointed. Have used this place several times for oil changes, tire rotations, minor repairs. This time for oil change, I was told my car needed several things addressed, all total over $4000. One thing the mechanic told me was my boot needed replaced and if I wanted to wait awhile I could but it was leaking. I decided to wait on all suggested repairs until I could get another estimate. Told my wife about it and she mentioned nothing was ever in the garage floor under my car. Curiously, the very next day a small puddle of fluid appeared under my car on my garage floor. Now I seem to indeed have that small leak he referred to. He also wanted to change the air filter,I said no, I would get it and when I went to take the cover off at home, one of the bolts is missing. Too much coincidence to have my trust. I’ll take my car elsewhere.

Very friendly and quick service

We used to like this place for tires and oil changes. I took my car in to get a coolant leak checked out all it did was make the leak worse where I had to add coolant every few days instead of monthly. I was annoyed by this but at the time didnt think it was done intentionally until my mom took her car in for an oil change. It started leaking the very next day. We took it back because it had to be a loose drain plug or something but nope they want to take the whole engine apart. No thank you. We wont be back!

June 2020Prompt and friendly service. Their prices on repairs seem reasonable. They always are willing to answer any questions you may have about any problems that they find10/30/20Unfortunately I need to amend my review of this establishment and lower my rating! They dont deserve even one star after my experience. I had an appointment to get my car fixed and when I got there they didnt quote the same price that I had been given either on an estimate or over the phone. The guy that waited on me was rather condescending to me like I didnt know anything about cars. They acted as if it was a problem to get the car done after they had said they could. When they did take the car in after about half an hour they suddenly said that a bolt was rusty and it stripped. The bolt, however was nice and shinny. The car had been Ziebarted and there was that rust coating on the bolt. Evidently the wrong size socket was used to loosen it and they stripped off the hexes on the bolt and rounded off the corners. Now its going to take more time and money in order to get the bolt off. I had brought my own parts for the repair and they were even going to charge me the same as if they got the parts. Doubt if I ever go back to this location. My father has gone there for years and always was treated fairly. Not so much for me.

After a rough experience with the local Honda dealer, we went to this Grismer location in Kettering. The advisor went above and beyond for us. He not only researched the issue with our Odyssey transmission and found a service bulletin, but also called a local Honda dealer to discuss the issue and find out if the issue might be covered by warranty. The advisor had zero obligation to do all of this - he could have just tried to sell us a transmission instead. When I thanked him, he said they werent in the business of helping people - thats how they make customers for life. And thats what they have from us now, because they were right. We took the Odyssey back to Honda and the repair was handled at no charge. Thank you Grismer!!

They did the job. The front desk lady was not very friendly or knowledgeable about my car. She could not pronounce autobahn.

They got me in and out same day for tire issue, oil change and headlight replacement. Took 2 times to solve headlight and fluid levels but the manager made it right and gave me a free oil change on my next visit. Prices are high. I will give them another try on my 4 vehicles.

Not displeased with the quality of work performed by Grismer in Kettering, but disappointed and annoyed by the lack of social distancing and mask wearing (Ohio State regulations for all persons) both by customers and employees. Out of approximately 10 customers that came in while I was there for 45 minutes, 6 wore masks and 4 did not. Employees at the desk had masks on most of the time, and mechanics in the bays had no masks at all while working on vehicles, even when driving them into and out of bays. There is no sign on entrance door reminding customers of masks, only for social distancing in general. After getting my truck’s oil changed I wiped down as much of the interior as possible with wipes and drove home with the window open. Maybe next time I will feel safer when I take my vehicles to a dealer for service.

I had gotten my oil changed at Valvoline over my lunch break. I got back to work fine, but when my husband and I were heading home later, we were about a mile up the road when my check engine light came on and the skid control indicator started flashing. We made it to up the road to Grismer, and they were able to see us quickly, figure out what the problem was (a disconnected air intake, probably resulting from when Valvoline checked my air filter), and fix it for us, all within about 20 minutes. They were even nice enough to waive the usual diagnostic fee. Thank you, Dan.

My car was completely on its last leg when we hobbled in for repairs. it was late in the day and needed much work. I was able to pick it up the next afternoon all fixed and ready to go. a week later I needed a new tire and that was promptly taken care of. everyone was helpful and courteousto an old lady
