Great customer service and deals! We rented mopeds for our nephew and daughters on our Maui trip, I was impressed by their care. They gave them a lesson in the lot and made sure they were comfortable riding before they let the girls leave. Our 4 day rental was fun and safe thanks to them!

We come to this place very well recommend, it was easier and a pleasure dealing with the owner, the rental process is very simple and you will get all the info that you need. The prices are good for the service you get, we just took the bike for a few hours and was a amazing way to move around, easy to park anywhere we want it.

Owned more than 20 scooters. I fix buy, sell and ride everyday. While I live in Kihei I go to the other side of the island a buy my parts from their Ohana. Everyone is knowledgeable, and share DYI. When stuck the machanics are spectacular!

This was an awesome place to rent. Affordable, quality service and mopeds. Taught simple instructions for first timers and helped us have a safe fun ride. The owner helped our group of 10 and was very accommodating. Definitely will rent again and highly suggested!

Stop your search, this is the place! Bill was easy to talk to, very thorough in his explanation and teaching, and made the whole experience fun and easy.We walked into the shop as a group of five, and they were able to get out the door quickly, even with a personal training lesson for one of our first-time riders. The bikes were powerful enough to keep us cruising with traffic along the 30 mph road South toward Wailea, and the 24 hour deal was impossible to pass up. It was enough fun, zipping up and down the coast, that our evening ended with searching for mopeds to buy back home.Seriously, give these guys a shot, you wont be disappointed!

Stop thinking about it and just roll on through! No need to look any further. These guys are genuinely nice - and take the time to make sure you are comfortable riding before you are released into the streets. They have a great lot that is perfect for this training. We had a group of 7 and the staff was super patient with us. :) Pick up and drop off was a breeze (gas station to fill up prior to return is in the same lot/block), the scooters are in great shape, and they are the perfect mode of transportation to get around town.

Absolutely one of the best places to come ride an rent mopeds! No experience required, theyll see if you can ride, do practice laps in the lot and off you go. Great time, greater people and most of all, an awesome experience.

I am very happy with my experience renting from Kihei Moped Company. The owner, Bill, was super fair and kind with me. Richard was quick to help me when I had an issue with my scooter (my fault). I didn’t catch the other guys that initially helped me- but they were awesome too!! Just super friendly and fair people here. I will come back again! And the scooter was great! Got me to all the places I wanted to go. A truly wonderful way to explore the area!

Of course wanted to support more of a local business and heard great things about Kihei Mooed Company. We came for our honeymoon and Richard was very helpful, patience, professional and had a fun personality. We weren’t aware that we needed a credit card to have as a security deposit which is completely understandable, but we had to leave, go get it, come back...and he was so nice and patient. Asked about food spots and he recommended the red taco truck next to the shop. IT WAS SO GOOD.We decided when we come back, we’re not renting a car. We’re going back to Kihei Moped Co. And renting for a week. Thanks for making the best day of our honeymoon one to remember! This was the best 24hrs of the trip. Riding around and experiencing this side of the island on mopeds. Best moped shop around. I bought my moped from them over a year ago and the few problems I have had with it they always have the parts to fix it and the knowledge to tell me how to fix it myself. The customer service is awesome always greeted with a smile and a laugh. I will never go anywhere else and trust them to always help me.

1st time on a moped and I loved it! Billy at Kihei Moped Co gave me a quick lesson and then I was off. For me it was the funnest way to get around the area. Awesome place! Great Service! We made reservations for 8 people ahead of time, but 2 had to cancel last minute due to illness. Instead of losing our money, they said theyd honor the 2 rental agreements later in the week if we came back. We came back 3 days later, and they hooked us up with scooters for no additional charge!

The best way to get around Maui is on a scooter and Kihei moped company gave us an awesome experience. They had nice scooters and a friendly staff, we were in and out and on the road quickly. I highly suggest renting from this company.

I had a great experience today with the Kihei Moped Company. The staff there were the friendliest I have ever seen in Maui right off the back. They made sure I was prepared and comfortable before I set out on the road with my brother. I highly recommend touring around Maui in a moped. My brother and I went down to Big Beach and all the way down the lava fields. Would definitely recommend

The family and I rented 4 mopeds from Rob. This place is gret, the bikes were in tip top shape. The entire family loved it. Rob helped us find a place to eat as well. Sent an email to reserve 2 mopeds for the week we were there, for 2 of the kids (20 yr olds). Rob was very easy to work with. Brought the girls in when we got to Maui, and he took the time to make sure they were comfortable before they left the lot. Would definitely rent from again, and would go out of my way to go there if I wasnt staying in Kihei!

This place was great. We just walked up and the staff were super helpful and accommodating. Our scooters came with helmets, a chain lock, and a great lesson. I even dropped the bike and broke a taillight, and Robert, who was helping us, was very open and honest about how much it would cost to replace. Which wasnt even all that much. Couldnt recommend the place more.

They do good repairs and if youre looking to rent a scooter its a good deal.

I had an amazing experience with kihei moped co. I was able to rent a moped for a whole week for $150 which was the best deal I could find on the island! I would highly recommend going to them for all your moped needs. Ask for Bill or Rob.

Originally I had poor customer service by one employee when calling to rent a moped. After the owner of this company reached out to me personally, after my initial encounter, & went above and beyond to apologize & make it right. My opinion has changed. Much respect for the boss/owner of this company.

Super friendly and laid back staff that still got my scooter back to me promptly, they have the lowest price i could find for a tire change on island as well. 10/10 will be buying any parts i need from them. I didnt rent one but they have some nice scooters with pretty good rates.Ps. I normally dont trust mechanics with my vehicles but id trust these guys with mine any day of the week. 🤙

We rented from them while staying in Kihei. Awesome customer service. He made sure I was comfortable driving the moped before I left. We also left our rental car key in the moped, and he brought it by our hotel for us. I would rent again!

The experience was terrible. Awful communication and when we got a flat tires and waited for them to come get us they did not. We communicated with them several times and they told us they were coming to get us and did not and then said “how are we going to argue that.” They blamed it on us and that’s terrible customer service. The tired was and then they said all tires are like that but they Are NOT! Please do yourself a favor and do not use them. Prices are about the same and they rent old scooter. Also they said why would we take it to Hana after communicating with them three times that we would do exactly that.awful.My husband was attacked. He longed fingers at him and threatened that he had no case.

I bought a 47mm (72cc) upgrade kit for my GY6 QMB139 yesterday, everything in the kit was brand new and increased my low end power.I recently broke a rocker arm and Richard came out to me on a Sunday night with parts to fix it and even lent me a feeler gauge to adjust my valves. Good mobile repair service and parts delivery. My usual parts dealer didnt pick up and they came through with the assist for a really low price.Later next year Bill had me ripped off on parts and Robert harassed me/spread false stories about me in town.Dont shop here.

Really great experience renting from here, the mopeds were fun and fast and the renters were really friendly and did not charge us for scratches that were already on the mopeds unlike Maui scooter shack which was the worst experience!

Rented a 150cc hoping to do some highway riding. The scooter shuddered so vigorously over 40mph, I had to exit and go back to the beach road. The mirrors were also practically worthless, they were so loose and wouldnt stay in position.Nice guy runs the place and the delivery was prompt, just the shabby state of the scooter is my main complaint.
