You have to go ask questions in person since the automated phone service is a complete waste of their money and customer time. This could be easily solved by listing a phone number that someone actually answers.

Where do I begin, I took my car in at 9:30am to fix a windshield and passenger window and they kept my car until closing around 5:00pm. Not a big deal as was expected from all my friends that have been here before told me to expect that level of low service, pretty standard. But at closing I could tell they were nervous to tell me something, they fixed the windshield but couldnt fix the passenger window. They made a lot of excuses and asked if I could come back to which I said no, so they agreed to send someone out. They indeed fixed it and then snuck in a $35 mobile fee I did not agree to. First when inspecting my truck they didn’t re-install the trim properly all the way. They scuffed up the trim itself. Second when I went to use my electric rear slider it did not work. It Obviously wasn’t tested. Third after inspecting the outside of my cab they actually scratched it. Forth the window they installed actually has a big scratch in it. Fifth they did not fasten my rear seats back in so as soon as I hit the brakes they all fell forward. The last thing that made me make this review is the glass they left inside the truck and in the bed of the truck. Absolutely the worst experience I have had using a glass company.

So first they didn’t show up on the first appointment that we had and didn’t call me till a hour after the appointment window to tell me that they couldn’t show up that day. I will say this he showed up a hour early for the second appointment but I have a question is it SOP for them to leave the key on the dash and the door open when they get done?

Very expensive for a 200ql1 bmw back glass $400+ dollars when I could of went to pick n pull for a $100 & paid someone a $100 to put it in for me Im just saying...does the back glass have a warranty if it breaks for that much cash?*(Update) tempered glass as in used glass from the junk yard?

We were the ones who weren’t ready in time for the tech! He was super professional and accommodating! There were no worries, and my car was done on time. He did a fantastic job! The price couldn’t be beat and the website was really easy to use as well.

Beware of this unprofessional business. They gave me an appointment 2 weeks out for a 4 hour window (8-12). The day of the appointment, at 12:45 after waiting all morning and holding the phone being transferred to several people and being told I was 3rd for the day and technician is running late, and on my second call, I was told the technician was driving and was running another hour to hour and 45 minutes late. Of course I canceled this pathetic and unprofessional service. No one should have to wait that long, let alone a 4 hour window.

Very professional and quick. Dropped off my car in the morning and had it back in the afternoon. Pick up and drop off were very easy. The tech I spoke with was great, he explained some minor things they noticed with the car while replacing the windshield. Granted, my car is not in good shape but they made sure I knew. Lobby was very clean. Will visit again if the need arises.

ZERO STARS.You shouldnt put up with these rip-off artists. I wanted to have them replace my windshield and have my dealership recalibrate the lane departure system, but they think they can grab that extra $300 by claiming its a safety issue. They have every right to require a release of liability, but this is just an obvious way to screw the customer out of more money. I spent even more money to take the work elsewhere rather than put up with this paternalistic nonsense.

They will not give you a quote over the phone, but to find that out you have to waste your time going through their automated system first.

Paid $329 for a windshield that cracked less than 30 days from install and they didnt honor any type of warranty. Wanted to charge $245 for a new one.. Military people stay away from safelite.

Because I had to reschedule, I was offered a decent deal. But there were a few things I think they need to change or that I was extremely disappointed in. 1) the cost of going to someone is astronomical. 2) a shuttle service of some kind would be beneficial. 3) I was told I was going to get an OEM windshield, but the tech let it slip that I wasnt. They did a good job and are clearly knowledgeable, but theres room for improvement.

Definitely shop around. After being quoted $415.00 for a windshield and warranty, I contacted 8 other locations in Killeen and close surrounding areas. With the same window and contract, I was given $185 - $225 estimates after companies viewed and researched my car style. Ive had windshields done by the same company in other cities with several and similar makes and models of car for family members (with fixing them in parking lots) and they were only $185.00 - $250.00. They also got warranties. Some had cars like mine which were discontinued. Not sure what this place of business used for their assessment.

$115 + tax if I drive there (not them coming to me) to repair the tiniest chip in my windshield that I paid $300 + tax to replace with the same company. Ive seen what they do and how long it takes to seal a chip. They must be joking if they think Ill ever go back to them. If youre near Temple go to Glass Doctors, they charge less than half the price ($50 + tax) and got me in next day on a Friday morning. Thats who deserves my business and who has it in the future. Horrible workmanship. Left glue all over my vehicle, the company uses the cheapest glass available, the road noise is now horrendous in my vehicle because of it, the worker broke both of my window pillar covers, they did not seal my window correctly, And now I have to wait weeks for them to be available to repair their mess up. We needed a chip on our just bought used car fixed. Apparently the chip had been fixed and the windshield should be fine. It was refreshing to deal with honest people who cared more about their customers than making money.

Our windshield had a large crack & in less than an hour our technician had replaced our windshield and was on his way. Our technician was extremely courteous and was on time, he had even called to see if he could come early because he was done with a previous job.

I had my insurance recommend this company for my chipped window and they scheduled the appointment. I was given a time window to be home and they even called me before they arrived. Unfortunately I wasnt home, and I was 40 minutes away.The technician patiently waited for me to arrive and upon arrival was very friendly. He warned a repair could cause the chip to spread and I agreed to continue. In only a few minutes he was done and left my window looking like new! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I would defiantly use this location again. They called the day before my appointment to make sure everything was still good to go. Before Christopher arrived to do his job he called to make sure I was home and it was still a good time to replace my windshield. When he arrived he was very professional and kind. He did is job in a very timely manner and explained everything. My new windshield looks better than the old one!!!

I will never use this company ever EVER again. Took about four weeks to finish fixing my windshield. The customer service needs extreme improvement. If you can’t do the job, don’t take it. My husband had to basically harass them to get the job finished and done right. I will definitely never come here ever again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

These guys were professional and courteous. I was worried that the non-OEM replacement would creak or otherwise not be up to par, but its been indistinguishable from my OEM windshield.

Had our windshield and sliding roof front glass replaced. Christopher Sinclair out of the Temple, TX is a super nice and professional technician. He had already arrived at our home with the windshield when he said that he would in fact be able to install the roof glass that Mercedes said had to be installed by them. He then drove to the dealership to pick up the glass piece with our cash in hand for the piece. Returned with our receipt and change and did a perfect install, preserving all our stickers and installing back up and infrared cameras.

Outstanding work all around

Safelite called the day before to confirm the appointment and the technician called a few hours before coming to my house. He replaced my windshield in a little over an hour and he transferred my inspection and registration stickers over to my new windshield too. The new windshield looks just as good as the OEM windshield did.

I cant speak to their quality, since Im not going to use them. Their price is nearly DOUBLE what other shops in the area are charging. Ouch! Oh, and they use a horrible voice automated phone system. Ever call a bank and try to speak to a person? Yeah...thats this place too.

I recently got a chip in my windshield and called safelite to schedule an appointment. They scheduled me in next day and did a mobile service and came to my home. Safelite even called my insurance for me and submitted my claim. On the day of my appointment they emailed me a picture of my technician and let me know when hed be coming. He arrived on time and took care of everything within 20 minutes. He even wiped my windows down for me! Excellent service and would recommend to anyone!

I would like to register my disgust for safelitte auto glass. My windshield was damaged on a trip back from San Antonio Texas on 13 May 2018 it is now 18 June 2018 and after 3 damn attempts (or lack there of attempts) safelite has yet to repair the windshield of my 2016 infinity. The first attempt I was told that the windshield needed to be replaced instead of repaired ok understood so I explained to the technician that the windshield was not heated and that a heated windshield would not be need. So what does he do, orders a heated windshield now the next technician comes out 8 days later with a heated windshield that is not needed so naturally they can’t put it in there. That technician leaves and about10 days later the technician comes out and does not have the crown molding that is required to properly install being that it breaks once the remove it. So the technician was honest and said once it breaks they normally just glue it back on and I’m like are you serious well you will not be glueing anything on my vehicle. So he gets on the phone with the office and the female on the phone because it was on speaker was pretty much like oh well if they don’t want it glued i. I guess they’ll have to wait until I get a hold of their insurance company and see if I can get it ordered like f*** the customer. Once I get this windshield replaced I promise you I would never do business here again I don’t care if I have to take up glass making in my garage I will not give safelite my business ever again. And by the way my windshield is still not replaced !!!!!!!

I had my first window chip repaired by Safelite. Really like that they came where i was to fix it, and called prior to comfirm. The second time i had a chip my experience was less than satisfactory. He cracked my windshield about 1 inch, but said he sealed it off and it would not get bigger. Not 5minutes later my entire winshield cracked from one end to the other. They said it happens sometimes due to heat and they would replace it, but failed to mention over the phone that i would have to pay my deductable. Needless to say, when they arrived to replace it and informed me i needed to pay $500+, I sent them away. I will never use this service again.
