Debbie was so helpful in answering all my questions, getting me many different fabric options and looking into what would go well in our space, as well as following up! Highly recommended! They’ve got great furniture and lots of little pieces to make your space feel new and fresh!
Its a shame, really like the items of west elm. Unfortunately, the staff is nonexistent. Was ready to buy the sofa Ive wanted for sometime but I couldnt get anyone to take my money.
I went to visit your King of Prussia store to view the furniture I want to purchase. Before I went I searched the furniture on your website. The website says “The product is on display at this store”. I go there and the furniture is NOT on display.Besides that, the customer service was pretty nonexistent. No one greeted me, or asked me if I needed help until I stared at a rep. She finally asked me if I needed something. I felt it was because I was a person of color. While I was waiting for help I watched your sales person offer someone else help in the most chipper voice. I did not receive that same greeting.Your rep who finally decided to help me seemed annoyed and bothered to check the stock room when I asked why the website said the desk was there if it was not.Overall, this was a bad shopping experience. I was ready to purchase, now I don’t believe I will spend my money with this company.
Do not shop here unless you absolutely HAVE to have something. The employees NEVER greet the customers when they walk in the door, usually it takes a good 10 mins before they even acknowledge your existence. When they do acknowledge you be prepared that you won’t be able to buy anything from the store unless it’s in a box or in the clearance section. They are now treating this store like a showroom with displays only, plus they will not give you free shipping if you have to buy it from the website. Also, if you open a box on the floor (you know, to see what color it is) they will “kindly” remind you “we are in a pandemic we ask that you don’t open boxes.” I can’t handle these snobby employees anymore! Go to Crate & Barrel where you will be treated like a valued human!
The sales lady Debbie Shore was super helpful, efficient and answered all of my questions. She helped me choose great pieces of furniture and outstanding chairs. I will use her services again.
First time here. It was crowded, on a Sunday. I was able to have an associate to help me with swatches. The chair was not in store but the was okay. Not to pushy.
I dont understand why this store exists. Chances are high that you will be ignored at this location, even when there are few customers. I recently called to inquire about in-stock curtains and was told some things are in stock back there but they are not sure which ones. Sorry to annoy, but I dont know either, which is why I called the store. This is why people shop online.
Terrible customer service, always too busy to help, even when you want to purchase something. Staff are very rude.
The in home designer, Gabriella, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and really helped me pick the right products for my home!
Love the products but not the superior attitude of the staff at the time. Too busy posing to be helpful Three years ago so I assume theyve moved on.
The loveliest furniture and home goods. Their clearance area makes items very affordable.
Love the furniture but terrible customer service makes me not want to shop here anymore.
Excellent customer service! They went above and beyond! Beautiful furniture selection.
In store experience was sub-par. We waited for 30 min for help b/c we wanted to purchase a couch. Got no help, eventually left with nothing and had to order online. Made a comment online about the experience, their social media team got in contact and asked me to provide feedback to their retail ops team. I agreed - and again, no follow up. Delivery experience was also sub-par. Confirmed delivery for 12 - 2pm, but delivery guy calls at 10am saying hes 5 min away - essentially making us have to re-juggle our schedule for the day to meet their timelines. Delivery team was nice, but unorganized, clearly poor communication across department and generally bad follow through and customer service. Received the couch and it looks like one of the cushions were used, b/c it was actually broken in and i can see crease marks. The other cushion is good. For the amount of money they charge -- i would recommend going with Crate and Barrel or other companies that overall provide better service. Ill think twice about buying from west elm again.
Ive bought at this West Elm for years. They always have new things and for what you get, their prices are very good. Have always had good service at this location.
I rarely write reviews, but I must share this so others dont feel the same frustration. We ordered a rug at the store and everything seemed fine, until they said they had to ship it because nothing was in the store.By the end of our experience we had called about 5 times, had 2 store visits, given our address 3 times and it is now 3 weeks after our expected delivery date and we are told it will be there in 3 days.. We will see about that.. Multiple failures on the customer service end = unpleasant experience. Personally u will look at other stores to shop for furniture as it is a fine a dozen.
The sofa I ordered is now delayed by an additional 5 weeks, after waiting 5 weeks already. The shipping tracker says it was shipped two days ago... nothing has arrived and customer service seems perplexed, telling me to just keep waiting for a delivery text or email. I’m reading customer service nightmares online and having huge regrets already. When a company is repeatedly featured by multiple news outlets for poor product quality, consumer complaints and awful customer service... shop elsewhere. I know I will be doing so. Shame on parent company Williams Sonoma, this brand is going to fail if word of mouth means anything- I know I’ll be sharing my experience.
Expensive but very nice and friendly people!
After the experience I had yesterday, Ill be taking my business to Crate and Barrel. The store refused to exchange an item I purchased (for something more expensive) because the item ended in .99. Considering half my home is from West Elm, Im shocked at the poor customer experience and lack of understanding from the staff. I wont be back and have complained to the corporate offices about the lack of consideration given my moderate request.
GIVING ONE STAR BECAUSE ZERO IS NOT AN OPTION-BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. I ordered the CALDAS LAMP online, received the confirmation and email receipt, WITH IMAGE,AND DESCRIPTION and they sent me JUST THE SHADE. When I called to complain, I was told by a SUPERVISOR that the item had been priced incorrectly online, and the company tried to COVER ITS TRACKS (direct quote) by making it appear that I had only ordered the shade, even going so far as sending me another DOCTORED receipt. I called many times to complain, WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR AN HOUR, and the issue was never resolved. Filed complaints with the BBB and consumer affairs. Spend your money elsewhere.
I havent been there just walked passed but the items look really nice.
Excelent Shop for home decor. Unique articles designed Brooklyn NY
Family went here and was racially profiled by a staff member. All questions about products were answered with that item isnt marked down and constantly pushing towards the clearance section. Disgusting. Left without purchasing anything.
Prices better than Pottery Barn. Great selection
Great place they do by hark u as soon as u walk in
Lol! They charge $140 shipping for $120 item!😂Its a scam!
The customer service in this store is terrible if you call multiple times or go in the store. Just order online
Great items, Great sales staff
