AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! I was having issues with my MacBook Air keyboard, I originally took it to Apple who quoted me $400 to replace which was outrageous! I dropped my laptop off to be assessed by Experimax, the very next day they quoted me an INCREDIBLE PRICE and told me to pick up within hours! Phenomenal customer service, and I will use them in the future for all Apple needs!

Probably the best computer repair store Ive been too. They are super transparent and always upfront with you. Also they will buy old computers from you and offer pretty good prices.

10/10 would definitely recommend! My MacBook Air had some water damaged and I took it to Apple and they wanted $800 to fix it then luckily I found Experimax and went there and they replaced only the necessary parts and only charged $350! Which is definitely reasonable compared to Apple! Coming back here whenever I will need anything done or want an Apple product.

Wasted so much time with Apple and Best Buy. Don’t do what I did initially, go to Experimac for any “obsolete” or “vintage” repairs. They did an amazing job without any confusion or long chats or mixed messages. Fixed my battery and speaker issues on my MacBook Pro 2012 with Retina display back to me IN A DAY. I’ve been to this store a bunch of times for multiple reasons. I go to this store for whatever I may need, whether it be new phone or iPad cases, chargers, phone repairs, or even just getting my charging port cleaned and working properly. They do FANTASTIC work!!!!! They have the absolute BEST customer service that I have ever experienced. Every single time I’ve been here they always finish your product early and in an amazing fashion. In my experiences, whenever I go in for a phone repair they tell me it will be ready in about an hour but I usually don’t have to wait any longer than 20 minutes. Beware! I brought in a 3 year old MacBook that had recently stopped working. The screen turned on but the operating system wouldn’t boot. The person at the counter looked over it very briefly and came to the conclusion that it needed a new logic board and would cost $560 to fix. I wanted a second opinion so I reluctantly took it over to the Geek Squad and they had it up and running in a day for $150. There was nothing wrong with the logic board, it just needed to have the OPS reinstalled. I want to be clear that I’m not accusing Experimax of trying to rip me off (although I’m not totally dismissing it) and I know that mistakes can happen, but perhaps their staff needs better training before they try to charge people $560 to pry apart a computer and swap out parts when the computer just needs a reinstallation or an update.

I stopped in to have my Iphone 6S charging port replaced as it has been overheating when charging and I had to keep wiggling the wire to get it to connect. They took a look at it and started digging at the port and cleaned out a bunch of junk. I thought I had picked it all out ahead of time, bit boy was I wrong. 5 minutes later I was on my way with out the cost of a new port and a phone that plugs right it and charges like a dream now. You will never go wrong getting Experimax to look over your devices.

Not only did I get a great deal on a new MacBook but they can repair them well too! These guys really know their stuff! They were able to make a big and creative hardware change that took less than 15 minutes! Swung by Experimax to fix my iPhone 6s’ charging port, which was full of dust. Thought I ruined it by overscraping it with a toothpick, as it stopped holding any charge afterward, but Nick cleaned it thoroughly and quickly. He was super nice, attentive, and serviced me right away. Based on this service for a minor issue, along with what I’ve read from other reviews, I’m making Experimax my go-to spot for Apple repairs.

He also told me he could install the battery in a few minutes and I would not need to drop off my MacBook Air.I stopped in the following day, with my MacBook Air. I am a local photographer and was in need of a major hardware upgrade for my home studio. I went into Experimac not really knowing much about what I needed but Steve and his team were incredibly informative, patient and helpful. I not only left with a great refurbished machine but also confidence in its reliability.

Disappointing experience. Very pleasant staff but unfortunately they recommended a battery would fix the issue of my iphone7 randomly turning off on its own. Immediately upon coming back to pick up phone I was told “after I replaced the battery it’s still having the same issue” and they proceeded to charge me. I can understand if it’s explained upfront there is a chance this may not fix the problem and might be another issue but it was told to me “your battery is in need of servicing and that WILL fix your problem”. I just feel like I paid $41.00 for no reason at all and it was a very disappointing experience as I thought I found an alternative to handle all of my future Apple issues, and future purchases as well.

Came in to have my iPhone charge port replaced due to phone not charging. Instead of doing the work or telling me they did they first cleaned it and tested. All seem well. Wanted no money. They could have easily replaced and made some money. Good respectable business.

I bought my MacBook Air from this place and within a short period of time after purchase my computer just randomly would not turn on at all. The light for the charger wouldn’t even register. I took it back here to see what was going on as I had bought it only 90 days ago. After almost 3 weeks of trying to figure out what was going on with my computer ( because unfortunately the guy is not very personable and pretty much just said that they are finicky sometimes) I advised that I was going to pick it up fixed or not. When I got there they advised that they “fixed” the issue. As I sit here I realized that the computer that they gave back to me, is not actually the computer I purchased. I don’t know why they gave me back some random one but they in fact did. This one I have now, all the small screws on the bottom are all falling out because they clearly have no threads left in them either. Pretty annoyed with their service and certainly would not recommend purchasing here because they clearly are not very upfront.

Great spot! I had problems getting a drive installed in my old iMac, brought it. I was helped immediately, the staff member had me all sorted out in minutes. Have an older Macbook Pro. Video card went on it. Wouldnt be worth going to Apple to replace, but Experimac repaired it without replacing for a fraction of the cost. They did it in a couple of days and were great! I would recommend them for repairs any time, and when its time for me to buy one, this is my new go-to place. Theyre honest, quick and friendly!

This shop is always a pleasure. Zero run around with an honest and affordable services to keep my aging but still valuable technology going without having to replace everything I own every two years. Its like a best kept secret using Experimac. They are nothing like some of the questionable repair shops and mall kiosks we have all tried. And the staff at this store impresses me every time. Ill take having this one best choice service to use over several mediocre ones that just add to lifes complexity with poor results.

I first used Experimac last month to fix my IPhone. While on vacation the screen just went black. Nick fixed it in minutes, and for a low price. Yesterday I had to bring my IMac in because of some virus scam that froze my screen up. Again, Nick was not only able to install malware virus protection software, but also realized that I needed many updates just to get things running smoothly. They spent hours figuring it out, but fixed it perfectly, and for only $52!!! These guys are great! Thanks Nick.

I first became aware of Experimac in Richmond VA & the store in Midlothian. The crew there are beyond ‘geniuses’ & fixed all my Apple issues & went way above my expectations. Recently I moved to Philly & was glad to find that there were stores in the area. I visited the King of Prussia store & they were also just terrific. I really appreciate that they work with you at your technical level which is way better than the Genius Bar! If you need a repair, upgrade, recover or want to shop make this your first stop. I thought the phone needed a new charge port; turns out the charge port just needed cleaned. (Using a dental tool.) They didn’t charge me. Good fast work. Had a screen replaced on my daughters iPhone 6. My only complaint is that they didnt contact me when the work was complete, I had to call them to verify it was complete.

They list items on the Let it go app and take forever to contact you back... Then tell you the item is sold in the middle of the conversation.. Terrible way to do business i wouldnt recommend anyone purchase anything from here.

I was looking to replace the power port, battery and screen protector on my iPhone 6 and after going online, I read a lot of horrible reviews for various repair shops except for Experimac, which had 4.9 star reviews across-the-board. So I took my phone in... I was quoted an extremely reasonable cost for the repair and in less than two hours my iPhone 6 looked & worked like a brand new phone. This place is great! A few months ago, the Apple support experts were not able to diagnose my MacBook Pro. In fact, their tests reported that everything was in working order even though it clearly wasn’t working correctly.Experimax quickly fixed it by installing a new drive. It took Apple many weeks to get nowhere, but these guys fixed it in a couple hours.Another time I was installing a blade SSD in my iMac and discovered that I was missing a special and important screw. Experimax came to the rescue. They weren’t too uptight to help out this diy’er, which I really appreciated. Thanks!!

They repaired the damaged shell and battery. Repair time, under 2 hours.-Second time I brought my Ipad for battery replacement. Their price was 25% less than Apple, and it took them exactly one day.-Third time I brought my iphone for batt replacement. Had a 27 inch iMac that stopped booting. They suspected a bad hard drive and attempted some diagnostics and other (cheaper) fixes, but ultimately they had to replace the drive. Thought the pricing was fair as they charged me an amount less than the sum of the diagnostics and the drive replacement as priced individually. The system was ready when promised, fully loaded with the latest version of Mac OS. When brought home and connected to its Time Machine backup, everything restored as designed.

IPhone 5s was losing power and shutting down. They replaced battery and it is like new. Half the price of Apple and NO WAIT TIME OR HASSLE. Wont have to upgrade for a few more years. Fast and friendly service.

Some keys on my MacBook Pro stopped working. I emailed Experimac asking for a quote. They came back with a very reasonable estimate for keyboard repair. When the new keyboard arrived, I dropped off my laptop and within a couple of hours it was finished. Just like brand new!!! I am so happy to have found this place. Saved me from buying a new computer. They also fix iphones which is good to know, as I ruin everything electronic.

My laptop was dropped multiple times, leaving the screen cracked and damaged. Experimac fixed my screen in record time and provided outstanding customer service.

I took my imac in for repair after being told by another Mac specialist that it wasnt worth fixing because of its age and their inability to diagnose it properly. Experimac staff were able to confidently diagnose and fix the problem for a fraction of what the other guys wanted.
