I am from Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area so finding this store was a god send because we don’t have any good hobby shops. Myself and a friend have gone to this location several times and spent some money. Not thousands, but hundreds and planned on making this our new go to location. Today we went there and there was a modern magic tournament going on. I went to the Yugioh section and asked to look at their dollar bin of cards same as I have done the past visits. While I was looking at cards and making a pile to purchase one of the workers said to another worker, “You’re going to have to tell them to come back another day we are busy and I’m not baby sitting them while they look at cards.” When he said that I put my pile I was looking at back and my friend came over to me to look as well and I told him what was said in front of the clerk the original was speaking to and he decided to start asking us what we were looking for and if he could help us. I took my small pile and a few cards from the case and bought them. This was disheartening because I have been looking for a store to be my main place I buy from but it looks like online will now be the way to go. This is why I left the stores in my area, rude workers who make you feel unwelcome. If I happen to be in the area and a friend wants to go in I may go back but I’m not making a special trip. I can spend my money else where in places I am not a burden.

This store is AMAZING. they have so much cool stuff and are so helpful. I went in looking for Magic cards and they had exactly what I needed. The staff was super welcoming and conversational in helping me find what I wanted. Really appreciated that. They have really cool card sleeves too. Highly recommend this spot. Professional while being personable. They make me feel really special.

Great selection. Lots of players. I made a special order and the price was very good and they took good care of me ( thanks, Dakota and team! ). Ill be back and give you more of my dollars

One of the best card/game shops out there, especially with the new store a remodel theyve been given the chance to do what they want now and you best believe I will keep coming back to get more things from them, the customer support has always been flawless at CM I just glad they got the chance to expand and have more room.

Thank you to the entire team at CM Games @ Cedar Bluff! Danato was great and spent a lot of time with my son explaining to him the ins and outs of buying and selling cards. My son listened and it was nice to have someone reinforce what I have tried to tell him. Every time we have come I to the store the team will take thier time talking to my 12yr old son about cards. Great experience.

My boyfriend and I went here on a whim and we are so happy we did! Well priced, awesome selections, and friendly workers. Definitely our new go to for games and collectibles!

Dakota is the man !! I agree that some of there products are a little over market especially Pokemon but there isnt anywhere else in knoxville to but Pokemon or yugioh why people get so but hurt over this is beyond me its just business they have to make money and considering you have no other choice except to buy online id say its not so bad done alot of bussiness with this place over the years and cant say ive ever had a bad experience !!

I like this store and both locations.. The games are reasonable and the staff are nice. I like the fact they have popular card games such as Magic etc that are held in the back at various times for all age groups..I’ve never personally attended one but the atmosphere appears cool.. This is one of my favorite game spot stops!!

My go to store for MTG! Staff is very friendly and helpful, and always get a great value trading in games and cards. Highly recommend.

The collection of cards under the glass are randomized making it very difficult to find something specific. The staff is unengaging and the prices for the majority of items is anywhere from 10-30% higher than TCG player price guides. The video games are also very highly priced, I found several games that were cheaper at retail stores for a brand new item, whereas the store delt with used copies. Cannot recommend except for maybe a quick look.

I know nothing of Pokémon. I came in to grab cards because one nephew said “I need better cards because I am losing”. They asked my budget and perfectly helped me get what I needed to fulfill that gift

Me and my girlfriend just spent 50 minutes waiting to buy a switch and an xbox but the guy at the counter would rather just talk about pokemon with his buddy.

Couldn’t get much help from store employees, they where more worried about the card tournament going on than helping other customers in the store.

Very reasonable prices and gave me good money for my games, but when going into store was told i had to stand outside due to not having a mask on my person, while waiting outside saw multiple people inside sharing food and not wearing masks, when i asked about it they were very rude and said it’s different with food items, makes absolutely no sense what so ever, gentlemen running register was very Condescending when speaking to us had an awful attitude then when asked why he said that’s just how i talk, felt as if my business was not wanted at this establishment, this was my first time visiting cm games and it will be my last! Was there on 8-6-20 at about 7pm

Every other location I have been to has been great except for the Cedar Bluff location. Don’t ask to use the bathroom even if you are a paying customer they will either tell you it’s broke or they don’t have one and if you want to buy something then I hope your a regular, I literally had to go tell the jerk at the counter that I wanted to purchase something, that I’m not just standing at the flipping register for my health. I’m glad Steve offers a place for Knoxville MTG players but maybe he should teach his employee’s manners and customer service skills.

I play MTG. Friday Night Magic at the mall is awesome, and the cards I buy are all in great condition and cheaper than they are online.

Terrible selection of video games, prices are bad. Nothing but magic cards nothing like advertised. Its a shame the owners dont read the reviews. Dont waste your time.Note to clueless owner, read all of the bad(real) reviews and you might just understand but I doubt it. They explain my terrible expirence perfectly, cause they are all the same.

Absolute joke of a store with the worst video game selection Ive ever seen. 90% of the floorspace is dedicated to card and board games. Beyond that, it takes 10 minutes for the employees to even notice that youve walked in because theyre too busy chatting about Magic the Gathering.Save yourself the trouble and just go to the CM Games in at the mall. That one is actually good.

So I have been known to collect a console or two, so seeing this place was pretty exciting. Im from outta town and had been driving. When I walked in, I asked the guy behind the counter if I could use the restroom. He snarks back quite rudely, I dont have a public restroom, you can go to McDonalds or the gas station! I walked out thinking to myself, I guess the folks that come to play games here have to hold it- or walk to the gas station. I certainly wasnt going to support his business though...

I went in for a ps4 and had to wait forever. Even with standing at the counter, we still got looked over: No May we help you or anything. The staff was not friendly, Looked over us and only seemed to care about the magic card stuff. I understand it more towards that stuff, but if your going to sell other stuff, at least be interested in helping other people besides just card non sense. Oh and it real mature that I sit in the parking lot to talk to my brother about the matter and listen to the two gentlemen talk about me and the situation. I think you need new people with better attitudes.

Cool store, but absolutely AWFUL return policy. They sold me a Gameboy game with a bad battery. When I went to return it, they said they did not offer refunds.They offered to give me a different copy of the game, but get this, they didnt have one... so you think they finally decided to give me a refund? Nope. They offered me a gift card.If you buy games from here, be wary, as they do not let you test them.Also, while I was looking for a replacement game, they were selling an obviously FAKE Pokemon Leaf Green.(edited post, thought it was a little harsh, but still very true)

Had a great time playing some standard here this evening. Although not enough people showed up for the showdown, those who were there were great people! Thanks to the staff for being cool!

This place is a joke. They will try to rob you or are just too plain lazy to look up card prices when you try to trade them not to mention they Jack up prices on booster boxes when you can get them cheaper from Amazon. If you shop here please know a little something so they dont try to screw you over.

They dont know how to answer the phone. I have called four times in a row only to have the phone ring about twenty times and then someone picks up the phone and just hangs up. Very professional. Maybe they can download an app that takes business calls since they are too busy, lazy, or just plain stupid. I wouldnt have given them one star if there were an option to give them none.

I love checking out all the YuGiOh tournament action here!! Its going down 5 days a week, and every other day there is Magic, Smash Bros, or something else to see. Great selection of games from Nintendo to now, and lots of trading cards. The staff are some pretty swell dudes, too!

The people that work there are very nice. You can go play different card games there. The sell a wide array of cards and video games.

Worst store ever! They are rude, and over priced. With no return policy.. they don’t do any returns. It doesn’t matter if you have the receipt or not. All sales are final. So you better be sure you are getting what you want because your gonna be stuck with it. I will never ever buy anything from this store again.

Look guys, dont listen to Chris Weber. CM Games at Cedar Bluff is a dream store for Yugioh players; the selection here is top notch and all my questions about the meta and how to win are answered from a place of knowledge and passion. Come here forever.

Geared to cards. Bad, unmarked replacement PS1 manuals behind glass; so bad though, I didnt have to look close. They may have been priced loose though, I didnt have time to look. A little high on the game I was looking for, but their used GC console price seemed reasonable. My brief staff interaction was meh. Overall very average. I should mention they were doing a brisk card biz when I visited.

Walked in to buy some stuff and waited 10 min and was never acknowledged by a single employee. Needless to say I walked out because I was never helped. Pathetic service. I arrived at about 3:15 on November 10th at the cedar bluff location, stood at the counter the whole time waiting to be helped and no one was behind the counter or paying any attention to it at all.

Will not be visiting CM Games again. Ever. I was sold a faulty Ps4 controller that the cashier knew was damaged. When I asked for a cash refund I was told no as its on the receipt. I went over it and it says nothing about refunds. The cashier got snippy with me,and when I called another location for clarification, the person who picked up the phone was rude and unable to help.

Ive been going there since my freshman year of college up until I graduated in December. I highly miss this place and wish they would just all move to Memphis!

This store has a ton of inventory for how little it is compared to the other CM Games! They have almost always have all the Yu-Gi-Oh singles I am ever looking for which is super convenient. If your a Yu-Gi-Oh player you should check this store out the staff is super knowledgeable and have even helped me fine tune the decks I play!

So I go in to the store on cedar bluff and find some games for sell and take them to check out and the guy tells me that, They are actually more that i would have to pay more if i want them of course i dont want them now that your trying to pocket money. So i call around trying to find a dm of the area I called few cm games to get why whats its matter well if the proplem that big then tell me why you want it so i finally talk to someone clamming to be over all the store and he tells me that there are new people over there who dont care and just price things how ever and just bc they price it wrong there not going to sell it for the price on it. Needless to say I will never go back to a cm games..... True story!

Walked out of the store 10 minutes ago after buying a 3ds xl charger (used) and they wont let me return the item for a refund. I want to return it because it was 3x times the price I could find anywhere else. I should have done my research before hand, you should too.

This place is the bomb! They can fulfill most all of your gaming desires!

The staff was extremely rude to me, and very unhelpful. I had a question that required the staff to call their manager and he said, to my face, “let me go waste 5 minutes of my time.” As if helping a customer who is trying to make a sale with you is wasting your time. They are not customer friendly and do not have your best interest in mind. Do NOT use this store.

Spent over 150 in the store in two days he sold me two cards on the ban list after I told him I was a new player paid like 25 dollars for cards only worth like 1 a piece now guess I should have done my reasearch but don’t trust them to be honest with you I guess is all I’m saying.
