Had a great experience dealing with everyone at the rock yard. Anna was awesome in helping to not only get all the rock we wanted but worked an amazing deal for us. This is our 2nd purchase from the rock yard and there will be plenty more. No need to shop around,this is the place to go. Very friendly,very reliable. The delivery was smooth and ON TIME!!. We have a tricky yard but the driver put it right where it needed to go. Once again go see Anna,shes the best. Thanks again

Anna runs this place and is completely customer experience related. I have no clue what i needed for my home landscaping project but relaid to her my needs. She advised me on the type and amount of rock needed. I was skeptical at first but once the project was completed the results superseded my expectations. She came through during the country’s crisis and shortage of supply of rock and made sure my needs were met. Thank u Anna.

Love this place, very friendly and timely. The woman at the desk walked with me and helped pick out the best stone for a seating area in my yard. They got 5 pallets to me across town and unloaded it before the end of the afternoon so was able to start my project.

Ive been buying lots of fill dirt, top soil, mulch and rock for a yard project weve been working on this year and Ive always had great service. They let you pick out your rocks (which I tend to do slowly) and load them up for you. They help with finding big ones for steps when I needed help. They weigh them on pallets to figure the price. I use a friends utility trailer most of the time since I dont have a truck. Very simple and easy process and I never have to back up!!!

Not sure why the negative rating but Bobby the manager or owner is good guy.. His service and and staff there have been great I have 6 tons of rock to redo my yard and they have the best prices and I go during my 45 min lunch hour and get a ton loaded and be back in time to eat something... Again great staff great experience so far... And the BEST PRICE in town... Thanks guys

Very disappointed right now. I ordered some pea gravel to be delivered to my home. I gave specific instructions on the location of where to dump the rock to two different people. I asked for it to be dumped on the drive way. That way I have no waste and its easy to scoop myself. I get home and its been dumped in the grass. In the grass! Anybody would understand how difficult it will be to get all that 1/4 pea gravel out of my yard. All the grass under that pile will dead as well, leaving a huge bare spot. I even asked them to call during delivery if I wasnt home. I plan am discussing this issue with them tomorrow when they open back up. I hope they will some how rectify this situation.

Great service and fair prices, and they went above and beyond helping me when one of my dry-rotted trailer tires blew while I was getting a load of gravel.

I was probably the rock yards best customer until I met the owner. He was extremely rude to me and to my customer over the phone. I will never shop there again. I recommend Tennessee Stone on Clinton hwy.

They were very nice to me I only needed a few rocks for art, they didnt charge me for them.

Appalling customer service.Ordered and paid for five scoops of gravel to be delivered the next morning by 10am. My crew of six workers standing by for 90 minutes. Phoned the Rock Yard at 11:25 AM to check status of delivery. Call went straight to voicemail.Called back five minutes later and was told that they are out of gravel and it will not be delivering. When I asked why I was not informed, I was told, unapologetically, that they “don’t have time to look at all the tickets”.I should’ve known better by the previous poor reviews. I drive past this business daily and see plenty of rock spill on Kingston Pike. Save yourself the headache and find another purveyor of what you need.

They dont answer the phone but are very helpful in person.

Give your business to someone who wants and deserves it, not these people. I drove 35 minutes to get to this place on a Saturday. I arrived at 4:25PM (They close at 5:00) with the intention of possibly getting 20-30 river rocks to line a residential flower bed. When I pulled up, boulders had been placed in the driveway blocking the entrance. I called and the woman stated they were still open but they put the boulders out already so to park outside of them and walk in. As I looked at some of the rocks they had, an employee asked if I was going to buy anything because he wanted to go home. I certainly wasn’t going to carry 30 rocks to my car and he didn’t volunteer to move the boulders so that I could pull the car inside to get them. He seemed to have no desire for my business. What a waste of my time. I’d give them zero stars if I could.

We just purchased over $140.00 worth of stone. A half a scoop of river stone, 5 small flagstones, and a large rock/boulder. All they gave my husband was a credit card receipt, no invoice. I called this morning and left a voicemail asking if they can email us an invoice. I received no email, no phone call. My husband called and spoke to Bobby later this morming and Bobby said that he would get it over to us shortly via email. Never happened.

Very disappointed!! After arriving 2 hours before posted closing time, the manager would not stay 2 minutes to let me buy some rock. He was VERY rude! Will definitely find somewhere else to buy rock!
