My whole family loves these donuts. They taste much better than donuts from popular franchises.

Yeah it was very under whelming. Not a lot of options for coffee or donuts. The vibe was very awkward as well. Definitely better off going to Dunkin or starbucks. No oat milk options as well.

Awesome place to grab a few donuts or a lot but make sure to get there early! Have been a few times for work or home and these donutes do not disappoint. The workers also are very nice when you pick them out and they are boxing them. Give them a break a little bit! Rico(spelling) is one of the nicest guys! Keep up the great work and make this place thrive!!

I absolutely love these donuts!! We ordered donuts instead of a wedding cake for our reception. We have tried almost every donut spot in Knoxville and this one is by far the best one. Everyone there is always so friendly when you go to order too! All around I love this shop. At my wedding reception everyone asked where the donuts came from! I can not even explain this store . . . it is DELICIOUS! You must come here. I had the Oreo donut and it tasted like a little piece of heaven. It is such a cute little shop, the service is very efficient and the workers are always so sweet, and the donuts are so cheap! You need to come here, and trust me you wont regret it!

The donut world here in Knoxville is vast. From small independent places to the mega chains. Dunkin has gone from great donuts to a Starbucks knock off with off site made donuts as an afterthought. The K Kreme is the McDonalds of donuts and always will be. The long standing independent places are hit or miss with most of them tasting good but no actual substance. Enter Pops Original, this place is IT ! Very tasty donuts in a wide mostly traditional variety all baked on site. These donuts have what the others are lacking, that substance, that texture to your mouth that when combined with the fantastic taste send you do donut nirvana. Reasonably priced and outstanding service really make this your one and only donut shop .

Pop’s catered the donuts for my wedding (our choice in lieu of cake), and everyone raved about how delicious they were! We even froze the leftovers after the wedding and have enjoyed them just as much weeks later. They customized the flavors to make them all winter-themed and even made one with gold sprinkles to match our wedding colors. Lois, the general manager, was a pleasure to communicate with and even custom-built a stand for us to rent on our wedding day. Our only minor issue was the donuts arriving a little late on the day-of, but my wedding planner took care of communication and it was a non-issue. You won’t find a more delicious deal in town!

We drove from Hardin Valley to get some of the best donuts in the city, especially the solid basic - the glazed old fashioned. Delicious, reasonably priced, and very fun service. We love these donuts!

Nice place and a kind staff (5 Star Staff!) but with all of the great doughnut places in Knoxville this ones doughnuts just didnt measure up.

This is a good place in the Rocky Hill area. The donuts are good, but they aren’t able to match Krispy Kreme. The exterior is always decorated for different seasons/holidays, so it’s always fun to see all the different decorations they put up. Other than that there is really nothing too extraordinary about this place. Overall an okay place, but personally I would recommend Bruster’s across the street as opposed to here.

Without question the best doughnuts around. Great variety, amazing flavor and texture, fantastic staff. We have searched and searched for a good doughnut shop and were finally blessed to discover Pops.

8/5/18 Update to my review, the filled donut I got today was perfect! The filling was injected so I had raspberry in every bite and the donut had a nice flakey type texture.7/22/18 Taste is great! Would be 5 star if packaging and donut filling were performed better. Bought eclair, apple fritter, blueberry and raspberry filled. The blueberry is by far the best blueberry donut I have had, so moist and flavor is great. Applefritter was very good. Eclair was good but was broken in half due to package. I feel its ok to use bags instead of boxes but the bag should not be rolled tightly smooshing the donuts. The raspberry filled donut tasted great, I just really wish the filling was more than just 2 bites.

Pops is easily one of the best donut places I’ve ever been too. They have it all and check all the boxes. Their old fashioned chocolate glazed donuts are the best I’ve ever had.

Ohhhhh myyyyy goodness. These are so good. Get there early. They sell out fast. Also, dont buy more than you can eat in a day. They go stale very quickly

Being from out of state, I wanted to find some local mom and pop donut place. Lo and behold, Pops Original Donuts.Are they original? I cant say. I dont know donut history to validate this title. But the real question, are they delcious? Dear god, yes!I got a dozen around 11ish. Then didnt get a chance to eat some until around 1230ish. So these techincally are old in donut age by this time [as my understanding is that donuts are typically made early morning]. Even eating them later, they were soooooo good. Had I been smart and nuked them in the microwave for like 5 seconds, it would have been heaven.Go to the place and get some darn good donuts!***Pro tip: parking there is very VERY tight. Dont arrive in a stupid large car.

My husband loves donuts and used to think that Pops Original Donuts had the most wonderful donuts ever. We have visited many times since original opening and loved seeing and getting your donuts, especially when Rico was there. Ever since Rico left, your donuts have gone down hill and last Saturday was the last straw. This was not just one kind of donut, it was several that included filled, powdered, red velvet, donut holes and others. The filled barely had anything in them, the donuts were very dry and lacked flavor, he had to throw several of them away. You used to have the best donuts from any donut shop around but seems you have changed the recipe on everything and well they now rate at the bottom of the bucket and when I say that, I mean, my husband has visited hundreds of donut shops in his lifetime and he knows a good donut. I am sorry to say, this donut shop has completely gone down hill and their product is not worth the money! We will try the new donut shop in Seymour and see how their donuts stack up.

Blows every other doughnut away!!! The New Orleans Buttermilk, Red Velvet, Oreo, and just the simple glazed are awesome. What I like best is, I was greeted with a smile and a hello. In my travels, I seek out the best donuts in what ever city I visit. I can say that Im very pleased with the over all quality of texture and taste. The donuts are unique. They have one of the best signature flavor for their dough receipe. Quality comes to mind that you will enjoy.

Update to my review of almost a year ago, now serving honeybee coffee! This review now officially five Stars. You will be very hard-pressed to find a better coffee and donut or even better Apple Fritter combination in the entire County. Previous post - Very good doughnuts, the apple fritters are killer. Need to up the coffee game though for 5 stars. Its a tad weak and just not very flavorful or worth it.
