This place is so cute! The lines are never too long (which is impressive in Knoxville) and the donuts are so good and creative. My favorites are the lemon poppy seed donut and the chocolate dipped old fashioned.

Friendly service and huge donuts. We split a cinnamon roll - it was fluffy and tasty - very fresh. They had a good selection of flavors.

Overall really great donuts. Old fashioned style have that perfect outer shell thats slightly crunchy, while the inside is a tender cake thats not at all oily. Raised donuts are pleasantly light and fluffy.Most memorable was the coffee old fashioned - much darker color than the plain old fashioned, but a VERY subtle coffee flavor. Tastes more like the difference was the use of molasses or brown sugar? Either way, it was exceptionally good - even my husband, who usually loathes the taste of coffee, thought it was better than the plain.

Small batch donuts are always such a tasty treat! The location is small but Im guessing most folks just grab and go, which is exactly what I did! Looks like they have a bunch of different options but apple fritters, Boston cream and the other standards are all on hand.

A very tasty buttermilk doughnut and really good coffee. The doughnuts are as big as your face and the selection is simple with no silly contrived offerings. When Im downtown again, this is where Im going for a coffee and doughnut. The interior was great too, simple, cozy, and lots of bright natural light. I will definitely be back.

I ordered an espresso and buttermilk old fashioned doughnut and I was a happy man! These are delicious artisan, small batch doughnuts –a block east of Market Square. A great place to stop when I go for a walk in downtown!

A little pricey but great quality and service. Well worth the ask and the trip.

I stopped by the shop on Bearden hill in Knoxville because I just happened to be at the doctors office next door. I had heard that those were the best donuts in Knoxville. So I bought 4 different kinds and them home. My husband and I decided they were absolutely the best donuts we ever had! They were so big that we had to cut them in half and had enough for 2 days. They are not cheap - but are worth the money! Very light and fluffy.

Literally the best old-fashioned Ive ever had. These donuts are superb, huge, and not as expensive as other nicer donut places. They also serve Intelligentsia coffee, which is so delicious! The employees are always super friendly.

Excellent and huge! These donuts are just amazing. A nice variety of donuts to choose from and big enough to share with someone else. I like to go in with a few people and everyone order something different and then share. For the size of the Donut, the price is ok. Stop by and try it.

I know what Im talking about when I talk about donuts, so when I say that I wish this was a 4 star location, believe me, I truly do. However, I cannot taint my integrity by giving this Status Dough location anything greater than 3 stars!My reasoning? Every apparent facet of this location is worthy of a higher review. The setting is accessible and well maintained, the aesthetic is hip and charming but surprisingly unpretentious, and the employee I spoke with, although perhaps too quick to try and connect with me about how he also liked getting donuts alone, was polite and dutiful.If youve read my previous reviews, youll know my final score always comes down to the headline performance itself. Thus, it is sadly that I must say the donuts at status dough fail to exceed a middling quality. While the artisan craftsmanship behind them is clear as day, theyre just not that fun to eat. I wont deny Status Dough another opportunity to shine in the future though.

I go frequently to the downtown Status Dough. The servers are always courteous and helpful; the orders filled are MOST of the time correct. We would like it if they would offer non-glazed doughnuts.

Stopped in here on a whim. The donuts were delicious and big. There was a good variety to pick from, even after dinner.

These donuts are heavenly😍. They’re large and fluffy and perfect. Some donut shops put your donuts in a paper bag which causes the frosting/glaze/toppings to rub off but Status Dough uses the clear, recyclable, to-go containers that allow plenty of space for donut toppings and no fear of them getting knocked off.

Awesome downtown atmosphere, awesome staff, amazing coffee and doughnuts to top it all off.

The gal behind the counter made me an excellent ristretto, on her first attempt! All I had to do was explain that a ristretto was all the grounds of an expresso but made with only half the water, and zip zam zowie, a crema-rich, uber concentrated godshot appeared! The buttermilk doughnut was further icing on the cake.
