I have given this Book Store a great deal of business throughout the years. When new management took over, I continued to give them business. I thought I made friends with them but today the manager Sara told me I make her Assistant Manager nervous. I tried to show my appreciation by giving them a sweet but this meanness disappoints me. This little bookstore is a great resource for those interested in Catholic and Orthodox books, icons, crucifixes, rosaries, and other Church items! The selection for such a small store is remarkable.

The Paraclete is the only liturgical local bookstore in town, if not covering a significant portion of East Tennessee. Cozy and well stocked, this store has just about anything you may be looking for. While it is obviously geared towards its Catholic audience, plenty of other denominations can find something fulfilling in the store. The team is wonderful and theyll even custom order something if they dont have it. Love this place.

I had a visit several weeks ago to look for a Catholic Bible and a catechism. I was able to find the catechism easily, and the incredibly kind staff helped me pick out a Bible from their great selection. The store is beautifully designed with something at every nook and cranny to look at. I would recommend it to any of our liturgical brothers and sisters.

Workers are knowledgable about the faith and eager to serve. I’ve gone there for almost 30 years. Love them all so very much!

The Paraclete has the best selection of Catholic Books, holy reminders, sacramentals, and supplies to be found in East Tennessee. Further, the profits go to support the seminarians of the Diocese of Knoxville.However, the prices on some items are higher than what you have to pay, especially for some liturgical books and things like vestments if you are a deacon or priest. I generally do not get my albs or other vestments from the paraclete because I can get them elsewhere much cheaper and just as good quality.

I rarely give stores high marks but the iCustomer service was awesome and the place is beautiful.lapping

Great Catholic book store. Im sure this is the only one within 20 miles of Knoxville. We were able to get everything we needed here. Plus their prices are very fair.
