There is a guy named Levon, who goes by Frank, that drives trucks for you. He likes to make friends with people and rob them when he gets the opportunity. Two stars because it isn’t on your company, but watch out for yourselves and maybe have a better hiring process.

Nice homes. If you are looking or buying ask for Zach. He was awesome. He went above and beyond to meet our needs and wants. We shopped east Tn and Ky before we found the perfect the home. I recommend this Claytons and especially Zach.

My wife and I purchased a home through Chris Lane at Clayton Homes of Knoxville and the entire experience was wonderful. Chris and his team were honest and transparent with us throughout the enitre process. They constantly kept us to date and in the loop on the status of the overall timeline for the home. I have heard of people having bad experiences purchasing homes through Clayton, and I can honestly say that was not our experience at all. 3:30 on a Friday afternoon is NO time to bemoving a house on I40!!! This morning going through the house was in the middle of 2 lanes and blocking traffic. Now this!!Update: if you had actually read my review you might have noticed I was on I40 going through Knoxville. I didn’t buy a home, I was stuck in traffic in a Friday morning and then again on the same day in the afternoon behind one of your homes being moved Andres using 2 lanes to do so. These moves were not scheduled well. I had appointments I was late for because I was following your homes down an Interstate.

Everyone at the Clayton Homes in Knoxville have been beyond amazing. From day 1 they have made the process of finding our house and land to buying an educational and comfortable experience. I have always been told that buying your first house can be really stressful, but honestly they made it feel the complete opposite. If I had a question that was hard to answer right away; that was always met with I will get right back to you on that and it was in a very quick and timely manner. The customer service from the receptionist to the sales have been amazing.

As one business owner to another, I want you to know that we will absolute never tolerate any kind of theft from any employee, from one business to another. Especially one dumb enough to brag about where they work.

Zach was the most helpful person we’ve ever dealt with in the housing industry. Every question we had, he had the answer for us. If he didn’t know, he figured it out and got back to us quickly. It was a great experience from a customer who knew absolutely nothing going in to the manufactured home industry. He worked with us on our busy week days and made time for us on the weekends too. He was personable, funny, and extremely easy to deal with. We ended up purchasing a site built house because we couldn’t find the right piece of land but I am still recommending Zach to everyone I know who’s looking for a Clayton home!

My husband and I tried to get a price on a custom home we wanted, we were told by Gwen that they could do it and would get us a price over a year ago. We gave her the benefit of the doubt for not returning our calls and getting back to us with covid and decided to stop in again four months ago and try to deal with someone else. We spoke to Zach and he said he would help us took all of our info and what we wanted, he returned our call to let us know that he would be having Gwen help him, even though we didnt want to deal with her again we bit our tounges now four months have gone by our calls do not get returned and when they do we get excuses for their pathetic communication!! We have now decided to stop wasting our time and find someone that will actually help us with a different company! Gwen and Zach are the worst sales associates!

Chris Lane, the salesperson who becomes your friend, gave us more than professional and personal service. Even though personal reasons kept us from a purchase at the time, he followed through making certain we were taken care of based onhis kind caring persona. I would trust Chris’s advice and knowledge without hesitation. Clayton Homes is blessed to have such an outstanding employee! This kind of integrity is not typical and truly appreciated.

Clayton Homes has provided nothing but the absolute BEST care for their customers. I have received amazing service with them, but also first hand have seen how they provide EVERY customer with their outstanding customer service and meeting the individual needs of the clients. This is a very professional, Clean, and friendly environment. They take pride in helping the customer understand the services and products they are receiving instead of giving you a home and moving on to the next purchase. I feel as if they do not push you into a purchase or home that you are not satisfied with or if you are not confident in the service you are receiving. My personal sales representative (Bryan) was very understanding and knowledgeable about his job and meeting the needs of my family. The fact that Clayton takes the time to value your needs and wants as a customer speaks high volume. I highly recommend not only Clayton itself but this location as well. All of the staff at this location are there to help however they can even if they are not your personal sales rep. The manager also makes sure that all his reps are providing their absolute best care to not only the customers but to each other. Thank You Clayton and Bryan for all of your help!!!

In November we decided to start looking for a home. We contemplated buying a home then we started checking in to Clayton homes. After going to Clayton homes, we met with Gwen Cheeks to discuss model and financing options.Clayton homes also went above and beyond by helping us find listings to go check out. After going to multiple properties we found a piece of property we loved and ended up purchasing a land/home package through them. Although the process took longer than initially expected we are truly happy with our purchase. The main thing to remember in all this is Rome was not Built in a night. If you are patient with Clayton homes, Gwen will take good care of you. They got our home set up and have promptly taken care of any issues weve had.I would recommend Clayton homes on Clinton Highway to anybody looking home buying options. The home warranty is impressive and the customer service from Clayton homes on Clinton highway is amazing.

Bryan and Roger were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Bryan helped us with every aspect of finding and customizing a home. He spent hours with us and even worked late to find us land and identify options for our home. Roger took the time to meet with us on multiple occasions, made sure we understood the process and answered any questions we had. If you are looking to get a Clayton Home, stop by this location. They will make sure you are taken care of.

Looked at the homes on the lot, thinking of maybe moving to TN. In the future. I do know if and when I do I will buy from this branch in particular. The staff was the friendliest nicest people. Gorgeous homes!

Variety of floor plans... average price is 64 a foot. They can change or modify almost any design...they do need more modular homes on display. Sales people are knowledgeable, its worth checking out.

Yesterday, we went to see the homes in Knoxville, TN. It was my 1st time in a manufactured home. I was amazed when I walked in. I told my husband WOW these are beautiful, & I dont feel like Im in a sardine. I was very surprised. Tim Vineyard showed us a few models. He took his time, & explained all the different prices for everything. Tim is the BEST! Thank you again Tim for your time & patience, we truly appreciated it. Looking forward to buying our home from you. :)

I only put one star because there is no way to put 0 stars. I put $1000.00 Deposit on one of their sale models, and they sold it to someone else even though I already had money on the home. DO NOT DEAL WITH THE CLINTON HYW LOCATION, AND ESPECIALLY BRIAN COTE, AND SCOTT.

First time buyer we went to Clayton Home to look at a New Trailer. There is a employee there named Tanner that talked to us and after we finished looking we then we went to the office to talk about what we liked. Then came the paperwork, we were interested in what the monthly payments would be. Not ready to buy until July. He asked us to fill out the paperwork and I specifically asked him if this would be a hard or soft hit on my credit. He said It would be a soft hit that it would not affect my credit score. He lied to us. I have a credit score app on my phone and I keep track of my score. Within the next two days there were two hard credit hits on my record. It brought down my credit score. The hit stays on there for two years. Do not deal with Tanner or Clayton Homes. They will lie to you just to get a sale. I have not had anybody call me to explain, Tanner will not answer his phone or text. I would suggest that you look elsewhere to do business. Tanner should be terminated from his job.

We started shopping for our new home in late June. After going to several other locations and the sales staff not returning our call we filled out a contact form for the Clinton Highway location. Chris was brand new on the job. He contacted me and after telling him about the other salespeople not willing to return my calls, he assured me that he was up for the task. I am soooo glad he did. Chris and his staff took care of everything including all building permits and speaking to inspectors. They were awesome! And I am now the proud new home owner of the Island Breeze with the Venetian master bath option. It is beautiful. Thank you Chris, Steven, Scottie and the rest of your crew.

Great staff. They just gave us a key that fit all the homes so we got to see them all at our own pace. They finance and help you find land if you dont have it yet.

Beautiful homes but had to look at them with my son and his gf by ourselves. So we looked around and left.

Great place to buy my next mobil home

Ive been there 3 times in the last year. Ready to buy. Im sure I didnt look like someone who was capable of buying right then and there. Their loss! 1st visit met with someone. Made an appointment to come back. The person I had the appointment with had to go do something and missed our appointment. So I left. No call back. 2nd visit. I had an appointment, the salesman assured me hed be there and wouldnt do to me what the other salesman did. I arrive for the appointment and he was, not feeling well and had to go home. 3 salesman sitting in the front lobby on the couch watching a TN game. No one offered to get up or help. 3rd appointment. Same situation. The salesman had to go somewhere. A woman rushes out of her office to say, hi I was listening to your conversation on the phone and since that salesman is gone for the day, Ill be glad to help you. Go ahead out to the lot take a look around and Ill be right out, I felt relieved, untill she never came out to join us. No one did. Upon leaving, We went back in to speak with her and in true form, she too had, left to go do something. Very sad. Very frustrating! And clearly made their judgments on me and my daughters and we were insignificant. I was trying to buy a home with money in hand. Like I said! THEIR LOSS!

Well, we went in to look at a manufactured home. We were looking to keep our costs low. By the time everything was added in it was 160K. We will look first a stick built home.

I was trying to buy a handyman special home from them and was dvised it would be in the following week and id be called back. I never got a call back had to call them like 30 times and finally 4 weeks later gave up and bought a home through someone else. You will get bad service if you go here!

My neighbor has had a nightmare from day one!!! If you want a home in a timely matter then go somewhere else. No communication, no calls backs, expired papwerwork- had to redo everything. Home finally delivered with plastic wrap tore from one side to the other. Called to tell us to do paperwork for extended warrenty and told salesman there is holes and knowing rain is coming. Basically was told to tape it ourselves. Ummmmm that’s not our job to do so. Who knows when it’s gonna be put together but they sure didn’t purchase a home with water damage.

Just there with friends while they shopped. I fell in love with a few of the homes. I would (buy) if I could.

I only gave 1 star because I couldnt answer 0. I waited over 30 mins to speak to someone and still was unable to do so even though I was asked to come down. Employees continued to walk pass me never asking if I need assistance.

These people will tell you anything you want to hear but when you buy from them you dont get what they promised you.

Took my friend 11 months from the time they signed the paperwork til they moved in their new home. Thats just wrong.
