Reason for 1 star? CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. Planned to buy 3 items, ALL of the items rang up 1 to over a dollar more than the price on the shelf. Apologetic, yes, but unwilling to honor the price on the shelf. Well, kinda did after I requested a refund. Shouldnt have to do that. Didnt see any employee going to the product and removing the price, made an excuse, havent had the time to correct? Overpriced items anyway compared to on line retailers.

Top-notch customer service! I stopped in to pick up a few things and had an issue with my trunk not latching. Jesse N. was very friendly and helpful and came out with a wrench to fix it for me. He went above and beyond! He also thoroughly explained to me why it wasnt latching, and showed me on the car so I could understand. He also made sure that it would consistently latch after he fixed it. And to think; I almost went to AutoZone!

I went there to have a code run on my daughter’s vehicle and they said due to covid they can’t. Didn’t give any other option either just a hard no. Went over to AutoZone and they gave me the machine so I could run the code. Won’t be patronizing Advance anymore. They don’t take care of you.

Jesse was amazing! Went above and beyond when I needed a new battery. Not only did he change the battery, and clean the terminals, but when the clamp broke, he also replaced it with a new clamp. I appreciate his professionalism and his willingness to get the job done, despite the heat. The prices were reasonable too.

I was having trouble with my battery that I bought from here, they replaced it for free without hesitation (it was within warranty). It was nice to feel they were honest and had my best interest. As I waited for everything I talked briefly with everyone. They are a great group!Thankful for all the help!

I have to tell you that these guys are some of the most helpful for a place that sells auto parts. My wife needed a new battery (that Walmart doesnt carry), and they even installed it for her. They also did a free computer check on my Jeep to tell me what the engine codes meant and how to turn off the light since there was no problem. Nice place.

Gilbert is WONDERFUL! I had a gift card due to a rebate from a previous purchase. Unfortunately the AAP website will not let you use a gift card for payment. I called customer service and they said that option was not available and could only be done in store. I was concerned because I was not going to be able to go to that store as it was too far from me, but close for my mechanic to pick up the part. I also wanted to utilize the online discount, which I was concerned would not be honored in the store. I was wrong because Gilbert was so great to work with me on the pick up, my online discount, and my gift card. The customer service rep and gentleman from my local store really need to take a cue from him. Great service that I really appreciate!

Theres this guy named Mark and hes always an hour late if not more and hes racist

Called in for a full complete strut assembly. Talked to April. I got a confirmation three times that it would be a complete assembly with coil and mounts and that it would come in the next day. I come in because they call me that I had to give a deposit so they could special order it. I come in 30mins later and they no nothing about it because April went home. I had to explain every thing again to another guy. Confirmed again it would be a full strut assembly. Next day they give me a plain strut with none of the items in a complete kit. I told them thats not what i asked for and they apologized and said the guy that ordered didnt know the difference. Vance reordered it and a complete assembly arrived later that day. I pick it up. Take my broken assembly off of my car and get the new part ready to install. ITS THE WRONG PART AGAIN!! I look up the part number online and its for a different vehicle and for the wrong side!!! I was stranded at home two days before the right part came in from an online vendor. The level of incompetence of Advance Auto Parts in Kyle just baffles me! I returned the part today. No appologies. They just said that thats the part that came up in the computer. They gave me my money back and said have a nice day.

The part I needed was so hard to find online and in stores! And the ones I did find were SO expensive! Advanced Auto Parts not only had the part cheaper than any other store and had it within a few hours of ordering but I was able to pick it up AT THE STORE!!! I’ll definitely be goin back!

I can admit I dont know a lot about cars, but I know a little. I walked in with my kids looking for a few things for my husbands car who is returning from overseas. I dont know (and I hope not) that it was because I was a woman in an auto shop but the manager (Vance?) talked down to me, even my son (14) told me mom he thinks your stupid. this happened over and over during my experience, every time I had a question about a part. All I needed was a few fuses and new brake pads. we ended up leaving without buying anything and going to another auto store Orielly where they quickly helped us get the parts I needed.I will not be back to this store.

I was there because I had a few extra minutes and wanted to check out the store and pick up supplikes for some maintenance on a 5.7 Hemi Charger. I visited a few of the other auto parts options in the are looking for a particular part. The only folks that correctly identified the part and understood the properties for a proper replacement was at Advance.

Going here saved me a lot of time and trouble! Thanks Amanda!!! Both reverse lights dont work so i figure it was a fuse, i thought i knew my fair share about vehicles. Took the fuse in to get replaced, it was actually a relay that only the dealership has, and Amanda hands it back to me and says to check the bulbs, cause these lights do go out at same time often. She was totally correct. Burnt bulbs filaments look fine, but the new ones work. Saved me aro $40!

The positive here is that they dont have a lot of people so theres not much waiting line. But they do not offer a lot things. Theyre always empty or do not have it in Stock

Been there twice now... both times they have been incredibly helpful, courteous, and well stocked.

Needed a sun visor for a car. The only thing they dont do for you now is check car computer codes. The other auto parts places in town are the same way.

The lady behind the counter knew exactly what I needed, it was out of stock, and she had an alternate part for only a couple dollars more... fixed my problem in one stop.

Beware, if you buy the wrong thing and me try to exchange it for the right one. this place wont let you unless you have the receipt. Purchased some wiper blades and grabbed the wrong ones by mistake and when I tried to exchange them a couple weeks later they refused to exchange them without a receipt.
