Went for tire repair. They said could not repair tire due to 3 nails in the tire. Later that day I noticed my lugnut in my cup holder! Went back to Walmart they blamed discount tire for stripping my lugnut. No one could explain why it was not mentioned to me that I was driving around with a lugnut in my cupholder!! Went back to discount tire where they repaired my tire with 2 nails in it. Long story short BEWARE letting WALMARt DO VEHICLE REPAIRS. NOT SAFE!

I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and impressed that my complete oil change was less than $50

HORRIBLE! I went to buy 3 tires & They said my lugnuts were stripped & that they were not equipped with the tools to take off my lugnuts!! What kind of automotive center is this?! Super irritated,disappointed & wasted my time. Walmart in San marcos had no problem replacing the front passenger tire.

They open at 7:00 am. It’s 7:10 and there is a line outside waiting to get in. Extremely unprofessional and horrible customer service. Oh. And then when they opened, their lift is broken and won’t hold a car.

Service is horrible never go there. I called and they told me they close at 6pm their site says 7pm. I get there at 5pm and they say they cant do my oil change because theyre already closed.

Horrible auto center they lie sat in my car for an hour before calling to know how long the wait for an oil change and price. While I sat in my car I noticed stalls empty mechanics standing there just staring out day dreaming. So anyway a female answered and I asked her how long is the wait she actually told me 2- 1/2 hours so I got loud and asked her why when I was just there for quite sometime and no cars in any of the stalls so whats the deal she tells me I dont know but its a 2-1/2 hour wait and hung up need better employees that can actually earn their wages!!!!

Cant even begin to express my disappointment. Checked in 10:40ish in the morning. Needed flat tire repair. I would not normally come here, the one in Buda is so much more reliable with time estimates. It was like after 2:30p before they finished. A $10 job.I only came here because it was close and did not want to take a chance and ruining my tire ( greater cost).Just to be clear, my dissatisfaction is with automotive Dept. does not reflect the entire store or Walmart. Just my experience today.

Horrible service. First, there is no clear directions for customer on where to wait to hand over the key, where to park your car. Second, Front desk (where you initially speak to someone regarding your car issues) is always unattended. Employees will be looking at you but wont come out to assist. Mechanics will act like they are super busy and will not come out to take your information. Basically they will ignore you.

Customer service was good and Jay was very polite. The overall time was a lot which i didnt like, but at least the service was good. Four stars because of Jay.

Went in on a Saturday at 7:03am. I waited at the automotive counter several minutes without anyone making contact with me. It was at the 10 minute mark that I called the stores mainline and told them my deal. They paged the automotive department on the loud speaker to respond. I could see and hear one of the techs say, “are you serious”. As he looked at the ever growing line. I waited another few minutes and decided to take my business elsewhere. Don’t waste your time.

I’ve had positive experiences until today. Dropped of my car and was told 2 hours which is no big deal. Went to check on the status after 90 mins and was told it was going to take another 90 mins before the car would be completed. I would never dropped off my car in the first place if I was accurately quoted the correct time frame. Very frustrating

Got oil change today. Good service, fast and friendly. Prices here are probably the best you will find and they dont pressure you to add stuff on like most places

I was told it would take 2 hours for an oil change. It took over 2 & 1/2 hours. My car sat in the bay for 10 minutes before anyone started on it and 15 minutes after it was done. They apologized afterwards because my car was selected for quality control. Because of waiting for so long my son missed his class. Had we left there when the car should have been done we would have had more than enough time to get to class and would have had time to spare. I know Walmart will probably not care at all about a negative review but I will not be returning.

Horrible customer service & EXTREMELY slow!!! I came in today for a tire rotation at 1030am...it is currently 153PM and I have been told 3 times that I am next and 5 Times theyve said 20 more minutes ... they took the truck back once decided one tire was too worn and wanted to know if I wanted to keep it or replace it, but instead of asking/calling me (they took my number when I dropped off the truck AND I was piddling around Walmart) they decided to just repark it and wait til I returned 1.5 hrs later...they then informed me I was next but took 3 cars before mine, took my car in the bay, go to lunch THEN rotate my tires... its 214 PM and theyre FINALLY done!!! No apologies, no discount for inconvenience...nothing. Wow!

Worst customer service ever. Will not answer my call. Didn’t call when car was done either. Will not come back and advise others to not come here either. Such a waste of 3 hours. All for an oil change.

Made me wait 20 minutes to pay for my service and get my key so they could sell merchandise to other customers. Never again Walmart. Never again.

Ive been here three times previously. Each time i thought i was just catching them on bad days, but on the 4th visit after being told it would be two hours just for an oil change, I left. Looooong wait times (even at 10am on a week day). Unorganized check out. ...not one time did they tell me my vehicle was ready. I had to go to the counter and ask. Prices are good, so I will give the second star.

A wasted 2 1/2 hours waiting, only for them to look at it and tell me they can’t replace a headlight? (And I had called ahead and was told they could do it)

Had to replace a battery on warranty. The process was quick and easy even though they were busy

If there were an option for negative stars, I would choose that option. They completely broke my car key, not to mention I had to wait two hours for them to change my oil when it was not busy at all. They have also stripped my drain plug on my oil pan, which I had to replace. I would not recommend this place.

They were awesome and helped fix my tire. Only downfall is it took forever but they were so nice.

This is the worst of all Walmart Automotive. It could be one car on line or 10, when you ask for the waiting time, always is 2-2.5 hours without even checking. My wife went this morning and she was told 2-2.5 hours (there was a lot of cars at the parking lot in front of automotive) the same day I went at 3:45pm and there was only 2 cars in the parking lot, none inside the bay, and I was told 2.2-5 hours wait. This is ridiculous 😂!

Should never take 4-5 hours for anything with this small of a parking lot.

They did a great job at changing my tires. But do expect to wait a while!

I came with two other guys I was second in line but it took them 2 hours to patch a tire when other places do it in 5 minutes. I had to wait while 4 people came and went.

Not worth going to. Ive tried to get an oil change twice and no one is ever around to help. Im sticking to the location in Sam marcos.
