Unfortunately the pharmacy staff was of no help at all! My husband and I have been trying to get our little girl’s prescription since 10am and it is now 1:39pm yet we still don’t have her Rx. Morning hour my husband tried picking up Rx and was informed they could not find anything under our daughter’s information. Rx was sent the night before and confirmed it was received. The second time we returned to Walgreens the pharmacy employee had us call my daughter’s Physician to have them resend the Rx because she did not want to feel bothered or look for it through their system. Called her doctor’s office and had the nurses resend Rx. Third time around, it’s already 1pm, I sent my husband to pick up Rx again and he was not given Rx because employee from pharmacy did not want to verify insurance provided. Stated she needed a specific number on the insurance card to be of use, physical insurance card was given to her. Husband came home again without our daughters Rx. Fourth time around, I go myself again, ask pharmacist for Rx, states she had already informed husband insurance card did not have what she needed to run the card. Asked if there was anyone else that could help because my daughter is in need of the medication. Turns to her actual Pharmacist, pharmacist informed her to note down the #attached to the insurance card, to call and ask for information needed. Pharmacy employee writes down the # hands me card and says “Sorry we’ll call after lunch, we’re fixing to go to lunch right now and will be back at 2pm”. Daughter’s Physician had strictly informed us she was to take Rx in the morning and here we are 1:50pm and no Rx because the lack of professionalism at the pharmacy. A complaint was given to store manager. Did receive a call shortly after leaving from pharmacy informing me they had giving us a discount and medication will be ready after 2. I do not need a discount, we have insurance card for use. All is asked for is professionalism, a good customer service, and good patient care! There is a lack of staff training in the pharmacy department and loss of education. Had to call my daughter’s Physician office again and changed the Rx to a different pharmacy. Should have done this since the AM. Waste of time.

Long time steady customer. One of the friendliest stores in the county. My wife and I both feel this way. I believe because of this, they do get really busy some times. A Great pharmacy makes this store a one stop shop for our family!

Omg i cant stand when the old man who works at the photo area is there!!! He literally ALWAYS makes me wait At least 10 mins. Anytime Ive gone in when the young girls are there theyre fast & friendly . . I go in cause i use FedEx drop off he is always either helping someone or just in the back or nowhere to be seen! .. The process to drop off a package is less than a minute! Even when the ladies whove helped before are busy printing photos while they wait theyll take in my drop off. He doesnt he makes me wait even when the customer isnt even there!!! Drives me CRAZY!! I get its not that big of deal but Im ALWAYS in a rush. Overall i love Walgreens lol

Anytime I have gone in, I grab what I need, and leave. The cashiers are responsive, and get me out in a timely manner.

Ive going this walgreens since 1995. I have never experienced any kind rudeness. They have always been so friendly. I consider this my store, mainly because they make me feel so welcomed. Love my walgreens in La Porte on broadway&fairmont. Especially Laura in Cosmetics..

Freaking TERRIBLE!!! I had a sick baby waiting for his medication for 3 hours then when I come back to get it, the woman tells me we didnt know how to contact you we dont have this medication in stock even though the woman verified my phone number when I dropped it off!! Now at 830 at night I have to my tired sick crying baby to the next town over to fill it at CVS!! Stupid ghetto lazy pharmacy! I will never go back!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst pharmacy ever!! Incompetent, rude, condescending staff in the pharmacy with no comprehension of how to listen to a customer over the phone. Due to their unwillingness to work with me, I will NEVER use another Walgreens ever again. Nor will this one get anymore of my business.

Worst Pharmacy experience ever. Would rather drive an extra few miles and go back to CVS. Same prescription Ive had for years cost 5 dollars. At this Walgreens it cost me 110.00 because they refused to send it through insurance even after the insurance company told them what to do and that it was covered.
