It was getting late when I returned from a trip. I was concerned the store would be wiped out after the evening rush. Shelves were full. Produce was full. Even the meat area was packed. 5 stars.

Great location! Well stocked, friendly staff and well staffed! Try the hot bar during lunch, the wings are great. Good selection of cheeses, beer, meat, fruits and vegetables. Other than that, its a grocery store.

I only shop here early in the morning before going to work. They are limited on many brands of goods, which is disappointing.

My trip today was a big one. I was supposed to have surgery December 10th, but had a stroke instead. Today was the first grocery trip sense then. The stickers made it hard to shop and were so busy I dare not stop them from their jobs to ask for more diet Sprite and Root Beer. But my checkout lady was nice and so was the supervisor who helped me to my car. Thank you so very much.

Fantastic prices for this crazy economy

Place is always cleanw when you need help, definitely a plus where I come from. The parking lot could use a revamp (potholes, faded parting space lines, maybe upgrade the lights in the parking lot), but that has nothing to do with the fine folks in the Food Lion.

This food line had two prices own Ginger ale. One price was 3 for $5 the other price was 89 cents for 2 liter. When I checked out they were charging me $2 upwards for 2 leader. The manager was alerted and changed it back to 89 cent. It was a little hassle but they got it right.Thank you Foodlion.

I love this location! I always come here to get what I need! The workers are always nice and helpful and they give this location a nice mom and pop community atmosphere! They also have a small but nice plant selection here. I just purchased a Yucca plant for a great price! The size of it was really nice and Im so excited to make it a house plant for my place!

This is our home base neighborhood grocery store when staying in Ladson.I dont really care for mega grocery stores--fluorescent oases of abundance they may be. Theyre crowded, theyre numbing to a certain extent; they baffle. Theres a feeling of creeping anomie there that I cant help but imagine makes us meaner and pettier toward our fellow people. Shopping is a human activity and I feel like livestock there.The Food Lion, however, reminds me of going shopping with my grandmother in a neighborhood grocery store in the 80s. Theres a pleasant quaintness about it, though the selection has never left us disappointed. Its tidily organized. Plus theyve got a great selection of things like yucca and tropical fruit and dried chiles and smoked meats and the Cafe Bustelo coffee products Ive become dependent on for travel. I cant fairly say how the prices compare; whatever the difference is between this and a Wal-Mart, isnt it worth it not to be in a Wal-Mart?

I live five mins away from this store. I usually come in right prior to closing since it seems the only time I can catch a break and leave my house. The night manager is always there and he’s so very pleasant and sweet. First to ask how I’m doing and probably one of the reasons I’ll always return. I don’t know much about him but he’s always too kind when I run in just to hurry and run out!

My Food Lion is so convenient and they always have good sales. Of course these days with the Covid there are a lot of items not on the shelf. My store is always clean and I have built a nice relationship with all the people that work there!!! They are always friendly and have a smile behind those masks!!

I enjoy this Food Lion in Ladson on college park road. Always clean, well stocked, the lines move fast, and the staff is friendly. I visited today, and still the same great features I’ve mentioned, but with the exception of the cashier this morning. I had my mask 😷 on and she had a mask 😷 on to, but I couldn’t hear her talk and asked her several times if she could speak up just a little so I could interact with her. I wanted to give her my phone number to use for my Food Lion rewards card because my card was not matching my name and I did call the home office last week and straightened this all out. A new card and number will be issued and sent by postal mail. I tried to tell her this but she wouldn’t do it. I asked again and she gave me her card from the register and I didn’t want her card. She eventually took my phone number, and rang my purchases up. She didn’t say thank you or another word to me. I said thank you and left. This must be an isolated incident, but I won’t be visiting her register in the near future. This is a great store to grocery shop in.

The store is pretty clean, however, when I check out the cashier never greets me. After all my items are scanned, they never say the total or even acknowledge my presence. This is not the first occurrence.

Traditional style grocery store with decent prices on a lot of items.

I have never actually been inside this location of Food Lion. Instead, groceries are ordered online and the very friendly staff bring them out and put them in my automobile. Because of the service I never have to leave my vehicle nor enter the store. They are always extremely prompt and complete in their shopping for my orders.

Well the covid fanatics have invaded. Was verbally attacked because my mask didnt have a metal pinch at the top. SERIOUSLY?? Was told I was shedding covid around my mask. I always loved the store...wont be going back while the paranoid covid patrol is there. Sad....

Went to the Food Lion near Stratford High School very early this morning when the store was nearly empty. This store is consistently clean and the shelves well stocked (still no hand sanitizer or toilet paper but hard to find everywhere). I appreciate this store has taken steps (clear check-out partitions, clerks wearing face shields, posted distance rules) to protect both customers and employees.

This is what I want from a grocery store. Once I decided to stop shopping at Walmart, I tried every grocery store in the local area. I make monthly trips to Costco and the Commissary but for most of my shopping its at the Food Lion on College Park. Their meats selection is good with high quality meat and organic if you want it. Produce is fresh and they have a good dairy section. You can say that about other grocery stores. Heres why I like them so much: The quality of the food they stock is equal to Harris Teeter but their prices are like BiLo. The store is always clean and neat and the staff is friendly and helpful. They even use a coded bagging system. When you get home, put the groceries in the blue bags away first - its the cold stuff. Who else does that?

The store has a hole new look. The check out where fast and they had more than one open. Great saving with food lion card. Will be going back there more often

Best food store! Because of a sale, my receipt went from $170 to $128 for two weeks worth of groceries! They have name brands, as well as their store brand. Their produce section is always fresh. Cant beat the prices! Love this place!

Food Lion is my neighborhood store so I go in the store at least twice a week. Ive lived in the neighborhood for about 3 years now and Ive never had a bad experience at this store. The clerks are always friendly and professional and I get a lot of good deals for my money on store products.

This a great store to run to for the basics. They do carry some specialty gluten free items that are not carried by other neighborhood stores. The produce is always fresh and the meat section is fresh and has an adequate selection for most meals for our family.

Store is clean, staff available to assist customers. If you want lottery tickets, expect a wait since no one operates that area constantly.The available produce is limited. Frozen fish is expensive and not sold in bulk sized packages.Fresh meat is cut to perfection. Sales are listed in weekly flyers.There is a wings bar but hot food bar does not open until 4pm. Rotisserie chicken is available all day.

This particular food lion location has great prices on the items usually purchase. Eggs, milk, ice cream, etc very reasonable or equal to Walmart. Lines are normally short to get me in and out. Customer service is very friendly and helpful unlike Walmart. Keep up the good work.

This store for me is the definition of meh. They probably have a version of what you need somewhere in the store. The produce section is small, and the store is a bit dated.
