My husband and I was greeted as we came in the door. We told Lee exactly what we wanted and he took us right to it. He was so friendly and attentive. He listened to our corny jokes and we wrap things up rather quickly. I have never had such pleasure shopping for furniture as I did at City Furniture. As we were leaving it was pouring down rain and they even gave us an umbrella to keep. I highly recommend this store in Spanish Springs at The Villages.

For 53 Rd anniversary took wife to get her a Recliner she can sleep in. Because of several serious surgeries she cannot lay in a bed. Met Sarah and she found perfect Power rocker Recliner. Our salesperson, Sarah Rimel was excellent and has stayed in communication with us before and after the delivery of our furniture - she gets a 5 star rating. We paid extra for our furniture (several heavy pieces) to be carried up a flight of stairs and assembled. We were stop #10 for the delivery and the two men were efficient getting furniture in place. However, they did not give us any instructions or paperwork on the furniture (power operated) and although it is listed on our purchase, we did not receive the furniture care packet. I was surprised they didnt have me sign for receiving the furnishings and answer any questions - I went to look for them and they were gone. Think they were anxious to be done for the day. We had a couple of blemishes on the leather and have already had someone come and take care of that issue - very impressed with James who provided that service. We are in Marathon, FL and so its quite a trip to come to our location. We will definitely make this store top of our list looking for any furnishings we might need in the future.

We found that Geoff was a great sales agent. He knew all the details as well the product. The whole experience was positive with the only negative is for paying in full when ordering. Typically we place 10% downpayment when ordering with the balance due upon delivery and inspection.

City Furniture of Lady Lake, Florida provided us with an awesome buying experience. First, we found exactly what we had been searching for in their showroom, the soft white leather reclining loveseat and matching reclining chair. Second, even during this pandemic we were able to get quick delivery on both pieces. Their sales representative, Sarah Rimel, was so helpful, not pushy but listened carefully to what we were seeking and took us right to it. The delivery team was fast and efficient and arrived right on time. A totally perfect experience. This was our first time in their store but we are now customers for life!

I originally went to this store in Spanish springs four months ago in June, and i spent almost $10k in this store. I recently revisited the store to purchase something else, and randomly, I wanted to check the status of my order. My sales person, Leslie Green, checked on the order that SHE had placed for me. that was back in June, that was supposedly to be delivered now in October, and we noticed that she messed up the order and we had purchased the dining room and not only did she get the color wrong, she only ordered the BASE with NO TOP. When she saw my facial reaction of disappointment, she turned around and quickly went to the reception desk without saying anything. Later, she “apologized” but now I won’t have a dining room for thanksgiving and have to wait who knows how long for the next one to come in. When my original order came in, the delivery person asked me “did you order the side rails for your bed? There’s none here to build your bedroom set.” And when I called, guess what? Leslie messed up my order for the SECOND TIME!! And now my daughter has to sleep on a mattress on the floor until the missing part comes. So I called and talked to the manager, Ikenna Okoro, regarding the situation. And of course, he recognized that Leslie messed my order for the second time and “understood” my frustration. At first, he wanted me to pay for the missing side rails, but I told him that mistakes happen, but someone need to pay for them, and that wouldn’t be me. In the end, he was able to order the part without having me pay for the error. At this point, I am still waiting for the part and table. I am so disappointed in this store. Please read all these reviews before shopping at this store.

I have purchased from this Company several times and have been very impressed until I went to this branch-in Spanish Springs. I have been waiting on a table to be delivered for now 2 months, every table they bring to my house is damaged. I would think that this would be inspected prior to delivery but nope.Getting a refund 🤨

This man went above and beyond to personally insure I got the product I ordered. Thete were issues but he and his team made sure I was taken care of. I had the worst experience with this branch.Ordered Dining room furniture August 1 to be delivered August 12. Had everything ready in our apartment only to find out the table became back ordered on August 5 and our salesman Ike never called us. Spoke to his manager, Rudy on August 12 who told me the table should be delivered the first week in Sept and he would email Ike to give us a call August 14 when he was back at work. Long story short Ike should have called me first thing but I ended up having to call him! Poor customer service! Oh and when I spoke to Ike he said the table wouldn’t be in till the end of September! Now here we are with no table! So frustrating! A big waste of time!

Went in store and browsed for At least 20 minutes. Had cash in hand to purchase a new bed. Never once were we asked if we needed help. It almost seemed like we were being avoided. Left and purchased what we wanted from Matress Firm just down the road.

Purchased new sofa 8/5. Delivery on 8/10 malfunctioning o. 8 12 technician out 8/19 technician said sofa was to be replaced o waited 5 business days contacted again customer service said order parts 5 7 weeks not what technician determined but then I received email said to call customer service of co cant get thru to live person and this has been going on for 3 day a now I would not recommend purchasing any thing from this company if this is the way they take care of customers problem resolved

My wife and I went to City Furniture in Lady Lake and couldnt be happier. Sales representative Alex Hill helped us and could not be more accommodating. He moved furniture around the the store for us and researched pieces on line that were not displayed in the store. We purchased several items. If you shop there you wont be disappointed. Ask for Alex, hes not just a sales representative but a very nice person. 👍

The men that delivered the furniture were professional, and efficient. They were very cautious, not only with our furniture, but with our floors when moving the furniture around on the hardwoods. They had no reason to believe I was watching them. They were just good at their job, for which I was really appreciative.

My experience with City Furniture is the worst an 1 order headboard, dining chairs, first the headboard was damaged pay for it $425, and they give me a certificate for $150 and 2nd 1 of my dining room chair that never been sit the arm was cracked broken just for the 1 chair I pay $325 n they dont want to replace it or give me the money back this is absurd I never believe that this Company CITY FURNITURE was like that sucks. This company doesnt deserves one star deserves none for the worst..Im going to tell all my friends Im going to posted n all the Social media

It looks great and is very comfortable.Another update: We went back to buy the matching recliner. Ikenna was our salesperson this time. He was very helpful and accommodating, letting us split the purchase over two gift cards and credit card. He was very professional, listening to my ideas of what discounts I thought we should get, explaining why that couldnt be done, but coming up with the best options. We were very pleased with the purchase. I will update one more time when the recliner is delivered.

We went there looking for a replacement recliner to replace my current one. Due to disability, not all recliners fit me equally. Also, we are on a tight budget due to being unable to work. Anne was very helpful and helped us find a replacement that fit both my physical and financial needs. As we started ringing up our purchase we noticed that there were tags for two different models on the chair, and the correct one was 50% higher price than what we had all thought, making it unaffordable to us. Anne went to bat for us, going to two different managers, and talked them into honoring the lower price. The level of service and compassion we received was inspiring. I would recommend them to everyone.

Within an hour of delivery, I realized the furniture that was delivered was not like it looked like on the computer I was shown while in the Lady Lake store.. I immediately called the store and was told they could do nothing and pretty much to bad, so sad and that they would NOT return OR exchange any furniture after delivery.. I phone customer service (lol) only to be on hold for more than 2 hours and then disconnected...I was told by the sales associate the furniture would be elegant... The furniture I received loos like pine boxes... (see attached photos)I have connected my credit card and Florida Financial to report City Furniture.Please be aware of purchasing furniture from this company... I was totally misled as to my purchase and pray no one else has to be treated so poorly..

Called this store a month ago. Explained my wife and I are moving to the area and wanted to order furniture so there would be a chance it would come in about the time of our arrival. Never received a call, called back twice and still nothing. Evidently they dont need the money because they have made no effort to make any of mine. Very disappointed they came highly recommend.

I am very very disappointed with my experience with this store. Leslie Green the sales person wrote our order wrong when we confronted her she turn her back on us and said she dont want to deal with us she turned it over to her manager Cammy Brotherton discussed w/ Cammy settled the problem, delivery day for the correct item delivery with 3 hrs.window did not came till 5 hrs.later. ive been trying to contact the office to no avail. left messages or call back nothing.The delivery people dont want to pick up the wrong item because it is not in the invoice finally i was able to talk to somebody to arrange for pick up.5 hours later i got a call from the call back, which is ridiculous, message say will call back as soon as an agent is available after 5 hrs. give me a break.Ill never go back nor recommend this store .A friend just purchase a house needs furniture never in my life Ill take them to this store.

We just purchased a sectional for our lanai. Our furniture is well made, very comfortable and sturdy. We worked with Hank and found him well informed, able to answer all our questions, and diligent. He went out of his way to meet all of our needs. We received our furniture on time, as predicted, and it arrived without any flaws. The two young men who put it together did a great job.All in all, our experience with City Furniture has been excellent.

This is the worst company to deal with. I have been waiting for a piece of furniture for over two months. I took off work to be ready for the delivery and they changed the day of the delivery without telling me. They decided that they can deliver it on 4 separate days over another 2 months. Then when I called to fix it they gave me a new date of delivery, and when I checked it later they changed the date again! I cancelled my order. No one should ever do business with them. The inability to communicate or work with a schedule makes this the worst business I have ever seen. I will never refer a friend to this place and tell people to actively avoid purchasing anything here.

I just called this store to ask about an email I received this morning and this man with a Haitian accent answered the phone and told me that sale did not apply to their store which didn’t make any sense to me, so as I probed him on the details he got upset and started talking over me and hung up on me while I was speaking to him! I am so appalled by the lack of professionalism.

City Furniture policies and customer service is awful. We received our chandelier that had a piece of glass missing. The chandelier is on back order for over 2 months, they have 2 hanging in the local store and would not taje one of theirs down or remove a piece of the glass from one of those so that I could place it where mine is missing. Everyone kept saying it was store policy they are not able to do it etc. My family has done a lot of business with this store but their inability to help correct this issue will cost them my business.

One star too many. I’ve been waiting for a coffee table since the middle of October. Store management is awful and they don’t care. They basically baited me into buying this with a reasonable delivery date which keeps getting canceled and pushed back. Today the order was postponed again with no explanation and no new delivery date given. Stay away from City Furniture!

Geoff the salesman was wonderful very patient and helpful and the prices are definitely fair I wish I could give them a higher rating but what happened after I left is very disappointing.My furniture was scheduled for delivery the end of November swipe promptly get rid of all of my furniture so to have Room for the new furniture only to get a call a week before delivery telling me now will not be in inntil after the 1st of the year.So now I have holidays family in town and no furniture. I understand things happen but upon calling customer service I got a not my problem attitude
