I did window shopping over a period of months. Staff was welcoming, answered questions, but were not pushy as I stopped in to look at various bikes on several visits. I am very happy with my recent purchase, and have heard positive feedback from others as well. I anticipate going to them for service to keep the new bike in good shape, and am hopeful this will continue to be a positive experience.

Never even mentioned it.I only found out later on from the manufacturers websight it WAS available……at time of purchase.Owell i guess. But honestly overall they are nice friendly people who actually had stock when most others did not.Even with the above said….. I’d buy from them again.Just make sure you get all questions answered if you don’t know!….ASK

Came in looking at ATVs specifically Polaris. Unfortunately with the pandemic alot were on backorder. Kelly came over and we talked for a while and then sat down and he did a virtual design of what I wanted. Very professional and knowledgeable and didnt try to play games or cover up anything. Straight forward with pros and cons no matter what they were. With that I happily settled on a brand new 2021 Polaris sportsman 850 with some extra mods. Was told around 3 months for the transportation/delivery. Somehow they made it happen in less time than that. Nothing but amazing, honest, and professionalism from Kelly. I will definitely be back for whatever else I may need down the road. Lafayette Indian motorcycle, great place!

Friendly place. Low pressure sales, but still was available if you had questions. Had a decent selection of Indians and Hondas. I just stopped in to take a look at a bike, but think I may just go back to the Ducati dealership because I want a bike with a little more pizzazz than the usual bikes you see. Besides, the Diavel and XDiavel is pretty fantastic rides if you ask me. However, if you are looking for a cruiser or touring motorcycle, stop in and see what they have.

Im sad to hear some of the negative reviews on here as we traveled over 4 hours to buy a bike and the experience was Perfect. George, Debbie and PeeWee were all very helpful and treated us like family even though we showed up at 430 on saturday to pick up the bike. George works friday and saturday for anyone looking for a great salesman and friend. I had been working on a deal at my regular store and the bike we were going to buy just didnt work for my wife so I started looking at the other dealers in the TW network. I found a Ultra that fit the criteria, waited two days for my saleman here to drag his feet. I called Lafayette myself and got Debbie whom asked me exactly what i needed and she would deliver. She did, then got me with George whom done EXTENSIVE footwork to have me ready for my 4+ hour ride home. My wife and I personally Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for service that we rarely see in business anymore!

I usually dont write reviews but the service department is a joke.I bought used 2014 can am maverick from private seller.I called service department to go over sxs and also do a full service on it.They said bring it in we can have it done this evening.3 days later I called and they said it was done but all they could do was oil change, spark plug, air filter.(Total cost over $300)Said they couldnt get drain plugs out of differentials to change fluid.(really isnt this what a service department does). So I went and picked up they couldnt give me a good reason why they didnt change differential fluid so I brought it home and when I got chance to look at differentials it took me less than an hour to change. I will never deal with Indian motorcycle again. What a joke

Absolutely horrible service. The best part of this review is the follow-up that they gave me. (See below) They said to give them a call. During this escapade I had called so many times it wasnt even funny. I finally gave up, walked in to the store and I called them from within the store and they just allowed the phones to ring and never answered. I physically watched this happen. Good luck getting a hold of them. Thanks for telling me to call a number you dont answer! *********Just for good measure I tried just now again to call since you made the effort to try to make yourself look good and lo and behold no answer. Was in the market for a bike. Saw the one I wanted for sale in Anderson at a Tom Wood dealership. Within a few days it sold. Then I saw the same bike appear at Indian with a price tag 1400$ more expensive. Figured since it was the closest one of its kind, I would apply for financing regardless. When I went to apply I noticed Indian of Lafayette is now owned by Tom Wood. Continuing the process, I was quickly responded to by the finance team. I was approved for a loan, but in both my eyes and their eyes I was weirdly only offered a loan amount equalling the price of the bike that was sold and was told I would have to put the remainder up as cash. Knowing banks usually only offer fair market value +/- 10%, I was being screwed. The bike was a dealer trade from Anderson and because it came to Lafayette suddenly was worth 1400$ more than it was in Anderson. I called them on the issue, and they basically told me that Id have to put 1400$ down to make a deal and that they would answer any other questions I may have had.Thats shady to me. A bike that sold for 7xxx in Anderson suddenly appears for 9xxx in Lafayette. Banks usually dont offer less than full loan price unless the dealership is trying to rob ya. Ill drive 2.5 hours one way to buy a similar bike for more in Chicago than I would to drive 20m and be ripped off by such a large margin. I gave them 2 stars, because they responded so quickly to me.

We found a particular bike here that we couldn’t find at a local dealership so we’ve been working with someone from sales for about a week. The bike was put on hold for us to come pick up. The sales person knew we would be financing and that we were several hours away in another state. We drove five hours yesterday to go pick up the bike but when we filled out the credit application we were told they only had one institution that does out of state financing. We were approved of course because I have a great credit score (in the mid 700’s) but the interest rate would be 10%. I think the sales person should have told us they didn’t do out of state financing before we spent an entire day driving for no reason. I could have been more diligent on my end as well and lined up financing before I went but with my credit score I never saw this being an issue. Though they have since offered to deliver it if we still purchase from them with our own financing that would require me taking another day off work to go to a different bank to get financing. They should have just been honest from the beginning and said they can’t really do out of state financing.

Best buying experience I have had for a long time. Very welcoming staff. They gave me a smoking deal on a bike after maintaining good communication throughout the deal. Sales rep was great, even put time in on the deal on his day off. Triumph tech in the shop was very helpful setting up bar end mirrors and making sure everything was good to go before he helped me load it on my trailer. Even the finance guy was nice to deal with. To top it off, the nice lady at the desk spoiled my wife and I with a couple shirts and other goodies.I live on the west side of indy and I willingly make the drive to this shop and suggest anyone interested does the same.I deducted one star because when I called trying to get warranty work done on a small leak, the soonest I could get in was 3+ weeks. But once again the tech hooked me up and fixed it as soon as I got it in there because he knew a new bike shouldnt leak and wanted to make it right. I trust the tech enough to pay for the first service, which I usually just do myself, in hopes that he gets a cut of the cost.

So I made the mistake of buying my first bike off Indian (used super glide) I told the sales guy it was going to be my first bike so I found 2 that I liked so I asked them if they where firm on price the guy said let me ask so he came back and said they can come down a little bit so I thought that was cool so I looked at the bike and the only thing that I seen it needed was tires no biggie so I went ahead and paid cash for the bike so after riding it for about a month now I had it looked at by a Harley tech and he informed me that the primary case is leeking and both from and back brakes are shot on top of needing tires they told me my bikes not safe to be on the road and I should not be riding it do to the work it needs. I guess its on me because Im the one who paid for the bike. Guess i should have brought someone with me who knows bikes and knows what to look for. So my advice to anyone who is looking to buy a bike off Indian is to be sure to look the bike over with a fine tuth com because I fill like I got took average of buying my first bike. I love my bike but if they would have just been honest and told me that it needed work I would not have bought it. My mistake on telling the sales guy it was my first bike

Honestly, do your business elsewhere. Dont expect very good (if any) customer service from this place over the phone. They will tell you that they are going to call you right back, but they wont, and its pretty aggravating. Ive literally waited for weeks before having to call them once again to see if parts for my bike had come in, or if they were finding out some information for me. Ive experienced this MANY MANY times. You have to pretty much do their job for them and keep on top of things yourself, or things simply wont get done. They become super helpful if you ask to talk with the general manager though (typical). This goes for all areas: sales, parts, service, you name it. It wouldnt be so bad if there werent thousands of dollars being exchanged. Im not here to buy a lawn-mower, im here to buy a quality motorcycle... so act like it... I was recently trying to do some business with them over the phone and once again a Salesman told me that he would contact me by the end of the day... unsurprisingly, it has now been over a week since Ive heard from them. I have bought a bike from them in the past and I have referred quite a few people to them in the past as well. Needless to say, they have made a lot of money off of me; well, not anymore. This salesman, probably just thinks that he missed out on selling a bike, when fact he missed out on keeping a loyal customer and many referrals. I will never do business with these people again, and I will not refer them to anyone ever again. Once again, you are better off doing business elsewhere.

I walked in on a saterday and everyone was too busy to even talk to me. So i found some to talk with after TWO hours and filled out a credit app. After filling it out i was promised a phone call by monday. Guess what... no one called... Tuesday. ... no one called... so i called them and gave me the run around... didnt say anything bout my credit or anything... just said that they would call me back that day.. guess what... never called.. so i waited a whole week and still nothing. So i called the the following week and still waitingon a phone call. I am in business administration and management and Indian motorcycle of lafayette is the worst by far for customer satisfaction based not just on myself but the three people Ive spoke with who purchased and tried to purchase a bike from them.
