WARNING I was so stunned and disoriented after my experience with Tresor-Rare Lahaina, Maui, until I found their little sample in my purse.A few weeks ago, My husband and I were in Maui. We were walking down the street in Lahaina. A woman spoke out to me, asking me questions. Then a man place a sample in my hand, physically grabbed me, walking into their store. He kept asking me where I was from and how old I was. He said he was going to give me another sample for my dark circles. I assumed it would be another little packet. Nope. Before I could ask or better, get my bearings, he was wiping eye cream under my eyes. He did not ask if I had any allergies or sensitivities. I actually do and the cream stung. I felt spun out and confused (which I am assuming is what they want). I told him I needed to leave. I kept saying I need to ask my husband. I cannot spend money until he and I talk. The sales associate became aggressive and said, the eye cream will not work, if you dont let me set it in. Next he held up a tiny fan and held it to my face. Again, I tried to leave. Then some dude came over and yelled at this guy to get away from me. This second sales associate was supposedly some important person from New York, who insisted he never deals directly withe customers. Then he proclaimed that he saw me and my beautiful skin and had to come over. He dramatically berated the first man and told him to leave. Then he said he must finish the other eye. He applied the lotion and did not set it with a fan. I kept trying to leave. I felt over powered. I was one of two customers in their store. It was so strange. My husband assumed I was enjoying myself (because I walked into the store), so he sat somewhere outside. The new Tresor-rare man insisted I use their under eye cream for 3 a day. I was like, three dollars? Finally, after pressing, he showed me a small bottle and said, No, $399.00 for 3 months. Isnt your face worth it? Again, I said I made a the firm excuse that I cannot make financial decisions without talking to my husband first. He pressed more and said, So you should be able to make decisions without checking with your husband. I needed to get out of there and said what I needed to. He kept touching my face. Finally, I stood up and tried to walk out, while of course, they tried to keep me in their store. He continued to touch my face, telling me how if I purchased even more product that he could help fix my smile lines and all the wrinkles on my face. It was crazy! They were crazy! I have no idea if their products are good. I do not want to know. I think they are aggressive and inappropriate at best, and are totally a con, at least at the Tresor-Rare Maui.PS I left the store feeling violated.

I’m not sure they are being very authentic. We spent a lot of money on what worked very well in the store. Not sure the product in the bag is the same product we thought we were buying. No customer service following up with my inquiries. And pretty fishy they have a ‘no return’ policy. Didn’t bother me at the moment as it was great in the store & that we didn’t live nearby. Buyer beware.... Really wish it was the product the used. Just doesn’t seem to be the same.

Same experience, I cant believe I fell for it. They lured me in also with the eye treatment. I ended up purchasing the eye treatment which is completely empty. I will be disputing this as well. They then tried to sway me into buying their infrared item that started at $8K then went to 4K then $2100. Im grateful I was able to escape these people. The man from Switzerland was so insulting to me about my wrinkles and calling me lazy etc. Such a disappointment to my one and only day shopping on my trip. Buyer beware. There store needs to be shut down.

Was handed a sample and told try it and if you like it come back. Was pressured into going inside. Was told the products were at least 400...when I said no price was dropped to 350..I said no again and price was dropped to 275..then my final offer was 125. Its amazing how fast the prices dropped. The sales lady was beyond pushy. Maybe if you had just let me try the product and come back if i liked it, you may of had a sale.

Worst high pressure sales pitch we’ve had in a VERY long time. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!!Sales girl was pushy and rude when we said we wanted to think about it before we purchased. If the product was that good (any good), then it would sell itself and people would come back and buy it instead of being pressured to buy something (after 1/2 hour pitch) at the same price as you can buy it on amazon. Go home little girl - and leave your whiny attitude there too...

Went in for eye cream demo in Lahaina HI. Took me to a different salon for a facial to meet the “owner”. They finished my facial, but did not finish my sister’s when I refused to buy the products. I bought two eye creams and went back to the hotel to find one container empty. The took before and after pictures and I wonder how they will use them. I woke up the next day to over $6,000 fraudulent credit card charges. Had to cancel my credit card and have been refusing delivery of beauty products I didn’t order. Don’t go in.

I received a fantastic facial. I already had a few products, love them, so purchased a few more. I loved the staff and will tell my friends about their store.

The people who work here are literally CRAZY!!! Dont go in, run for your lives!!! Once you go in you become a caged animal and you cant get out. I was asked when I last bathed, what!!! They played good cop bad cop for at least 45 minutes trying to get me to buy their creams. The products arent even organic!! Run Run Run!!

Must not take these people seriously— meaning the ridiculous salesmen standing outside of the stores. Just laugh in their faces, ask if it was their life’s dream to sell scam cosmetics to innocent people when they were young boys. So sad, these salespeople are so sad. The products you can find anywhere!! If you want them order them online! If they lure you in, turn it around and just start badgering them with questions about THEIR personal lives. Make a joke out of it- for that is all it is. I feel so bad for anyone getting taken advantage of— open your eyes (and not with the 60 second lift serum ;) and DON’T BUY IN TO THIS JUNK!!! Spend your money on some beautiful Maui tours or adventures, it will make you look younger completely naturally!! And much much happier. Get them out of beautiful Lahaina!!

Steer clear of these scammers. The product is effective but overpriced. AND the product I purchased was EMPTY. They would NOT respond to my complaint until I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I did receive the product, finally. But then their letter to the credit card company says I dont know how to use the vial/syringe (like its hard) AND that I like many others are just trying to get a refund. Yeah no kidding.

When I was there on Aug 29, a young salesman with a stocky build, an Israeli accent and reddish curly hair was so rude to me. After realizing that I was not interested in making a purchase, he tapped the side of my arm kind of hard 3 times and said I had petted him like a dog! I told him I hadnt touched him, and got up and left. He should NOT be working in that salon! Or with the public if he cant keep his hands off them!

Very rude employee. Last night, there were two young women at the front of the store handing out samples and as one of them was handing out some samples for free, my wife approached the other to ask about the product but was rudely told that it would cost $10. Apparently, the employee thought my wife couldnt afford their products and thus is not worthy of her time nor of the free samples. A potential customer, or any person for that matter, should always be addressed respectfully.

The product burned my eyes. Went to return the stuff said I couldnt. I really dont see how these people are still in bussiness after reading all the reviews. Trip advisor and here on there website. Same thing just junk, and customer service none. Needless to say I will not be returning to Lahaina anytime soon.

We were robbed by this store. They are professional liers. They charged my card and claimed I requested the items to be mailed. I cancel the purchase and never picked it up as scheduled. The fraud was 9k they promised my c.f. company to fix it. They dont answer phones or emails. Buyer beware.

The worst experience during my time on Maui. The blonde salesperson waiting outside lured us into getting free samples. We politely accepted. She proceeded to get foundation to apply to my mother, which my mother declined. The salesperson then angerly said we were a waste of time and wasted her product. I was completely shocked by her behavior.

Bait and lure. Products vastly over priced. After calling us by the wrong name three times he gave us a soap. When we passed on the special that soap was snapped out of our hands quicker than it was given. Dont get pulled in... it is only takes a moment will take too long.

As I was walking around in Maui met Michelle who offered me a try at some skin care products, and I eventually became convinced to buy a couple of items, been using them every day and love how soft my skin feels afterwards. So grateful I met her and her expertise on the job !!! 👌🏻😊

Actually if you work with them especially ones that have been there for awhile they will actually work with you in price. It’s more of barter system and I’ve been using products for a good 2 1/2 years. I’ve had 2 shipments even to mainland Oregon without any problems. Save ur receipt to talk over phone in and they keep price ask for original sales person or David. Hermetise product is fantastic and works. Actually better price and lasts longer that any department store brands esteelaouder, Clinique, even Dior. I think Americans from mainland just don’t know how to barter and how to say no to the items they don’t want.Travel to other countries and this is how it’s done. Very persuasive, pushy, and manipulative customer service. The “over-the-top” customer-sales pitches are a huge deterent! Even if their products work, their obnoxious sales people will turn you away! I don’t think there is any difference from my regular drug store products!Don‘t take their free sample being handed out on the sidewalk! It is not worth the hassle of them trying to lure you in!

People please read reviews before you go there, we were lured and gotten, took it back in two days, gave explanation that you signed the back of form, you didnt read it to bad, it says no returns. thank God Im a persistent jerk the lady finally said fine and returned all produtcs. Paid them 4000.- $ for products i have never received. The products are still in their Store and guess what - no one cares, they just try to ignore the Situation away. My experience was the exact same as everyone who posted on this site. Like vultures swooping in on fheir prey. I fortunately only purchased the eye cream. By purchasing that, I got a voucher for a free facial which just happened to be by a celebrity skin care specialist that was just visiting for a short time and Mariah Carey was one of. He was booked solid, but they just happened to have a cancellation and could fit me in. It was supposed to take a 1/2 hour and it turned into two.I finally had to walk out. I didnt feel like I could go unless I purchased something and Luciano was clearly not happy when I kept telling him no and made his unhappiness very clear... a horrible experience! I could go on and on about it but others have said it all very well. BEWARE! Take all the reviews that you can read here seriouslyThey are all spot on!

Be careful of their hand held credit card device. When you sign for the charge, your signature pops up on a return policy slip that you dont even see or know that you signed. So, if you want to return or cancel a purchase, the signed return policy does not match what they promise you in the store. All lies. Unfortunately, my credit card company does not know this stores manipulative practices and only looks at where my signature is placed....even though I didnt know. Save yourself the heartburn. Keep walking down front street. Enjoy Lahaina.

PUSHY! Will not take NO for an answer. They MAKE you come in and immediately start putting stuff on your face. Emit grabbed my husbands wrist and started putting exfoliator on it and eye cream on us both. I wish I had it to do over, I would start screaming leave me alone!!!! Do yourself a favor and CROSS THE STREET before you get to this store!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

DO NOT EVEN LOOK AT THESE PEOPLE! We were killing time before our Luau, and walked past this store. We were lured in, and I told the very pushy salesman we were in a hurry. Before I knew it, he had me in his chair TAKING OFF MY EYE MAKEUP! He was rude, made fun of us, told my husband he HAD to use this product, and if he didnt, he would HAVE to have an eye lift. Told me I have been using the wrong face products all my life. Even if the stuff was affordable, I would not have purchased due to his terribly offensive sales tactics. Stay away!!

Terrible and borderline immoral sales staff. Took advantage of one of my elderly family members for thousands of dollars. Extremely high pressure sales that provide alchohol to lure you in and over spend. This ownership and staff are the worst and should be ashamed of themselves.

Please take these reviews into consideration before going into this store. Their products are overpriced and ineffective. However, their employees frustrated me the most. I never saw a store that hired employees that were this rude. One guy who stood outside the store to advertise was very strange. I noticed that everytime someone walked past him he talked quietly, almost as if he was talking to himself, about how good the products were. To my family, he was very racist and when we looked at him, he just kept smiling to himself. Long story short, this place should not be in business anymore.

Everyone please take a serious note. Please don’t buy anything from the guy name AMIT here. He is horrible, extremely unprofessional and liar kind of employee. He told me the original price and then cut in half in seconds and then started increasing per his own judgement. Extremely awful guy. Also he was behaving like manager, told me that manager is on vacation and then again said next day that he talked to manager, so extremely crazy guy. I don’t know how come he is able to work there even 24 hours with this kind of rude services. Don’t ever buy anything from AMIT employee. He may not be there any longer any way, most probably get fired if the store manager has a little bit courtesy and value of customer experience. I wish I can give negative reviews, but here I have to give minimum one start to review. Awful sales person, no one can keep ever for anything for this guy for any work at all. Stay awayyyyyyy from him, I don’t know much about other employees, but lol for his name tag and stay away, this is my kind and honest request to you all as a customer.

We wanted to thank her for dealing with us in a very calm and professional manner. She let me know that a full investigation will be launched from me speaking with her. We touched on the other previous negative reviews on this site Giselle mentioned that since she has started there more recently she is making it her objective to receive more positive feedback. Thank you for turning this around.As such I am changing my review from one star to four starsOriginal:I was at the store today with my girlfriend where we met a worker named Ian. At first he was pleasent, helpful and showed us some amazing products. I cant remember the name but it was a skin peel and a water based moisturizer with stem cells. We were set on buying it when Ian mentioned he had a product in the back that was the only FDA approved at home laser skin treatments. Needless to say my girlfriend and I were very intrigued. After a brief explanation and demo my girlfriend and I were set to buy it, and I asked how much. Instead of answering my question Ian continued to push the product and offer us a package deal for $2900 that included the perfectio plus and skin care products.When we agreed, he continued to push ANOTHER package at HALF the cost. Starting to get aggravated but impressed with the product I asked to pay. During which, my credit card was declined. Quite surprised I called my credit card company and they said that the charge was for $6000 which was over my limit. That is NOT half the cost. Ian lied about the cost and at multiple points in time refused to answer the questions we had reguarding the total price and than being told price doesnt matter. He even tried making us late for our appointment so we could buy the product off him. So my girlfriend and I left extremely upset. Especially so my girlfriend as she worked in a luxury retail environment for 3 years, she had every right to ask him how much the products were. Everyone has a budget and to be told Price doesnt matter results do is extremely pushy and condescending. She has been trained in over 30 luxury brands and was quite impressed with the ingredients and claims. Its quite sad now because she will refuse to use anything from that brand in the future due to this bad experience. She spends well over $5000 a year on her skin.Im all for buying luxury and expensive products but I EXPECT to be treated very well and have ALL my questions answered.Not only will I be leaving this negative review I will be returning to the store tomorrow to speak with his manager and file an official complaint and explore what else can be done as he ignored our questions multiple times and tried to bait and switch us which is illegal furthermore claiming the product is the only FDA approved at home treatment product is actually not true and falls under false advertisement (my girlfriend KNOWS these laws from working in skin care.) Horrible experience overpriced ineffective products -Stay away!!!One of the most degrading and demeaning experiences in my life... will never step foot in one of these stores again and when my product runs out, will certainly not restock. Deceptive sales practices... e.g. Told me that my supply would last 3 years, when sales receipt was printed, found out theyd simply tripled the amount of product they say I agreed to buy and added shipping that I had not requested.. return policy is not disclosed up front and everything they have you do will disqualify you from returns... do NOT allow them to ship product to you... and do NOT accept any free gifts (both void your ability to return anything!) I challenged the purchase through my bank and their legal staff said the return policy is legally rock solid so my only responsible recourse is to try and warn others. they will embarrass you and berate you in their store in front of others and will interrupt you attempting to do any research online while in the store. They even disrupted my call to my husband to confer with him over my hesitations. And they dont seem to know much about properties of skin care ingredients... tea tree oil is NOT a sunscreen as claimed by salesman and although microbial, it is widely attributed to skin irritation. Their facial products are heavily scented... not usually something Id put on my face. I have been very displeased with the products in the several months II have used them. And still feel foolish for allowing myself to be bullied into purchasing these overpriced and ineffective products... stay away!!This was at the store on Maui. Salesman also showed me another persons account information and claimed it was Celine Dions (which I didnt believe, but he still showed me another persons account details in their computer system so hold on to any personal details you dont want publicly disclosed.) This same salesman also stated that Jesus Christ was telling him that I should treat myself by buying these products... which should have sent me laughing my way out the door, but in hindsight is just absurdly offensive and insulting. What is the procedure to return product for a full refund and the process TresorRare will implement to ensure this doesnt happen to others?I would also take seriously other negative reviews and assume they are accurate. Best practice is to just stay out of these stores entirely unless you have masochistic preferences.

Fantastic service but the product has made my eyes swell up even more than they were already when I went into the shop where I was persuaded that this eye cream would have the opposite effect - alas I opened the products so it looks like I will be stuck with them ! Amazing sales people but for me a terrible product ! Read other reviews before you buy !
