Great, Honest people. Got a flat today. As usual I took my truck to Pumpelly tire. As usual they gave me an honest estimate of how long they would need the truck and as usual they stuck to it. When I got home from picking up my truck I noticed that they had forgotten to replace a valve stem cover. No big deal. Don’t live far so I popped back in. They not only replaced them but they made sure to check every tire for pressure before I left… I had been gone maybe 15 minutes. The service here is top notch and they treat their customers well. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

I showed up right before close thinking they closed at 5:30. I told them I would come back but they went ahead and took me anyway! The staff was so nice and very knowledgeable about their products. I highly recommend this place!

Good service promised and good service delivered. My rental car needed an oil change and the rental car company told me to take it to Pumpelly. I called & they suggested I bring the car in first thing in the morning. I arrived about 15 minutes after they opened & they told me they could get the oil changed within an hour. They got the oil changed and I was out of there in less than an hour.

Had a blowout, needed four new tires… called Pumpelly the next day and literally three hours later we were back 100%. Super nice guys with straightforward pricing and service.

They are always awesome. I get my tires there always and rotated. Also my wipers.

Like everyone who came back early after Hurricane Laura, my tires needed serious help. I went to the LC location and although insanely busy due to nails from New roofs and roadside debris they were extraordinary friendly, professional and quick. They discussed my options with me and never once pressured me for the most expensive; in fact, he suggested the opposite and said to wait until more roofs were completed prior to investing in tires. Pumpellys was my third tire shop I went to, and granted I needed four new tires, they were the only ones who I felt honestly cared about me and not money. Im glad I listened because I had six more nails embedded after the repair. I waited while they worked on my car and witnessed the importance of each individual who came through the door. Normally I would be bored waiting for a couple hours (remember everyone needed tires), but they somehow brought us waiting customers together in conversation and made us laugh. When I drove away my car never drove so well. Ill admit, that was such a difficult time for me in my life that their kindness and generosity touched me so much I drove away in happy tears and thinking about it now brings them back. I will always and forever be a loyal customer. Its crazy but Im in need of new tires and Im looking forward to going back.I want to add that I needed air in my tires after after doing what I was suggested not to and went on the interstate. I pulled up to a tire shop in Sulphur instead of waiting forever for my personal compressor to do the job. I was once again greeted in the most friendly way and treated like an old friend. I wouldve been in and out within minutes had I not hung out and talked. Because they care about us the customers, they stopped what they were doing and took their time to help me and didnt want anything in return. I didnt realize it was Pumpellys until the end and it was clear why they were amazing. I spent more time. at the LC location but I can confidently say either one you chose your in good hands. Sorry so long but its difficult to express how amazing they really are.

Great experience! Everyone was very friendly. When deciding on tires, I was shown comparables and told the pros and cons of each. These guys are knowledgeable and trustworthy. They were upfront about wait times with other walk-in customers. The lobby is spacious and kept very clean. Ill definitely be returning!

Pumpelly was quick and attentive. They got my tire replaced very quickly, even though I was a walk-in without appointment. I was able to head out of there way before the hurricane hit, and the price was very fair as well. Extremely satisfied, would recommend.

Pumpelly tire is recovering from Laura but they had the time to help us purchase 2 tires from a blow out we had while in Louisiana. We were able to return to Galveston and appreciate them. The price was good.

The Tuesday before Hurricane Laura hit these guys showed up to work bright and early. They quoted me for 4 brand new cooper tires and offered me slightly higher mileage tires for $15 more per tire, I declined the offer. Later they came and told me they couldnt find 1 of the 4 cooper tires and offered me the higher mileage tires for the same price as the coopers. Within the hour they put 4 brand new tires on my car for evacuation. The whole time I was there as the new customers poured in he would accept their vehicles to attempt to get as many road worthy for evacuation. 10/10 would shop again.

Oct 21,2020 was my first experience with Pumpelly Tires. It was very professional as wellas polite from the phone call Inquiring if they could help me to my first encounter meeting an employee until the last when I picked up my car with repaired tire. I just want to thank Pumpelly Tire for their great customer service. We were traveling through Louisiana on our way back to Houston. We hit something in the road and had a flat tire. We were by a Ford dealership but they did not have the tire and referred us to Pumpelly. I called and they had the tire. Once we got there, they were friendly, offered us cookies and had our new tire on in less than 30 minutes. If I lived in Lake Charles, Pumpelly would be the only place I would go.

Great Tire Shop-very professional and super friendly! I stopped by on my way driving home to Georgia and asked them to check the air in my tires for me. They immediately took care of it, Kyle checked all 4 tires and then my spare, topped off my wiper fluid and even explained a little about tire pressure to me, lol! All that and they didn’t charge me anything for their help-thank you so much guys!

They shot me straight. I was told elsewhere that I needed 4 new tires. I brought my car to them, they did their own assessment, and recommended just replacing 1. They even took extra time to review alignment with me. Ben was very attentive and helpful.

We love Pumpelly’s. They ALWAYS do right by us. They never do unnecessary work & have even not charged ys before for a patch. They are who we trust to make sure my car is safe anytime I have to travel. Great service and price was cheaper than quoted!

I called that morning. They didn’t have it in stock, but were able to order the tire I needed and got it in that day. When the tire came in they called me to let me know it had come in. When I arrived, they were able to get to me quickly. They had me fixed up and on the road again in about 30 minutes. They also did a good job of adhering to Covid best practices.

I got a flat tire around lunch time on Monday and after calling a few different places, Pumpelly had the best price on a full new set of tires. They were able to to change them out for me the same day before 5:00. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. Will definitely be back next time we need something! Great job!

I have to say they made me feel like I was VIP. They’re so courteous and even offered me to sit at their conference room table when they saw I had my work bag and computer in tote. I was able to sit comfortably in a private area and work while I waited. I highly recommend them!!

Each time I have visited Pumpellys for a service am always greeted by friendly staff, most wait times are relatively short. Even going in for a check tire pressure light associates are prompt and helpful. Love this store.

Payed over $950 for false info to be posted on my car

Had my car towed there on Saturday. Didn’t get a call about it until I called on Monday. They got the tire patched and didn’t try to convince me to get a new tire, I didn’t need.

They went above and beyond to help me! I had a flat tire, put the donut on and went straight there to get a replacement. I got there right as they were closing but helped me anyway, he could tell I was having a rough day. They ordered a new tire and it came the very next day! They even texted me to let me know it was there! They are truly angels.

My wife was in Lake Chalres visiting me while I work here. We both have a busy schedule. She has a new car that has a special tire, a sport pilot bla bla bla. She picked up a nail. Other shops told her 3 or 4 days to get a tire. The Ford dealership saod the same. The dealership in Texas where we live had these in stock. In any case Pumpelli arfanged a tire overnight, made a temporary repair just to get her to the hotel and back to the shop the next am. No one else put out any effort to help her. Thumbs up. If we lived here ypu would get 100% of our fleet business from here out. Thank you.

Would recommend to anyone. Needed a tire that was not in stock and they were able to overnight it for me. Due to the low profile runflats, they are extremely hard to mount. Got my car home and the bead was not seated all the way. Brought it back to them and the took care of it right away. Best customer service around.

Not from the Lake Charles area was in for a doctors appointment Needed special size tires that nobody in town could get in for at least a week. Called Pumpelly, didnt have them in stock but at the warehouse. Had them before end of business the same day. Awesome customer service, friendly staff, and went the extra mile to get the tires.
