Set an appointment for an oil change at 9am. Arrived at the dealership and was told that Id have to come back after lunch as they had 2 call out. The guy to a vehicle after I arrived... the guy said that Id called the call center,, as if that explains why these 2 departments are on different pages. No explanation as to why the call center would be setting appointments if they were actually aware of the staffing shortage. Was told that Id just have to show up when asked if they could do a courtesy call so I wouldnt waste my time. Incredibly bad first impression of this dealership. Ill just continue to have my vehicle serviced in Orlando. At least they seem to care how they treat their customers.

Horrible customer service lies about being able to help someone. Hard hit my credit 6 times.

I came for a promo oil change (I believe it was only $29.95 and came up to $35 or so with added fees), and received a complimentary vehicle inspection. They claimed that I needed brake work done. Ive had two independent places in Gainesville state my brakes are over 80%. They also recommended a cabin air filter, and engine air filter change. In total, they quoted me over $400 for these things, and I think i heard a $700 figure. The air filters can be changed within 2 minutes, and even places that up charge to do this will do it for $30-$40. I cant speak on the car purchase/trade experience, but I can say that when I visited this dealership their repair/auto shop is very dishonest in their pricing. If they think you dont know anything about cars, they will quote you ludicrous prices. This experience was enough for me to never return. I strongly recommend doing your research on prices before ever doing repairs. 2 stars, because the inside is pretty comfortable with coffee, water, soda, and snacks available while youre waiting for service. This is likely subsidized by their predatory and manipulative service tactics!

Its a shame that the reviews with 5 stars does not have the full story. if i can rate them 15stars believe me i would.. i went to 4 dealers (stay away from gainsville ocala and jacksonville dealers please trust me on this ) those dealers will not and have no intentions of working with you. They will smile in your face and laugh behind your back) I emailed the GM of Lake CITY Honda early in the day in regards to what i wanted and was looking for and he replied immediately stating he would try to get close to what i was looking for. which honestly i was not interested in hearing since they all probably say thay to get you in the store but i said whats the worse that can happen?.. well i decided to give it a try 4 other dealers failed me whats one extra one. To make a long story short. If i could i would buy another honda vehicle from this store with no hesistation GM kelly his sale rep walter and Ms denise were beyond what i expected in a car sale. When you have a team trying to sell you a car without the pressure and the lies and the gimmics you have a happy customer and a warm welcoming ..trust me once i had more than 45 min i knew i would be leaving with a new car and i did !!!!! When you have the GM leave his area to greet his customers and work with his customers that means alot and when the GM did that that alone was a sale in itself. I cant really describe how this experience has made my and my family happy. I can go on forever i really can but they know they did their job to their fullest pontentional. They all should get extra bonuses. The owner or the company should be proud they picked a good group of people to work at lake city honda. If i can direct all future honda customers to this location i would and i will. PS i traveled 1 hr and 10 minfrom home all i can say it was worth the drive.thank you guys

Honda of lake city Florida is not a great place of buisness!!Me and my husband purchased a vehicle and my grandmother purchased one as well in the same visit.we were promised $100 from the sales consultant Kyle for referring our grandmother and it was a lie!They misplaced my grandmothers information and $1,000 was misplaced!they were extremely rude and not helpful!They missed up the paperwork as well and has not tried to apologize or anything.everyone that has done business here needs to be checking their paperwork

I seriously want to thank Nelson for being the BEST sales associate I have EVER encountered. Seriously, if you don’t ask for him you are truly doing a disservice to yourself. He made us feel like we were VIP’s. It was an extremely hot day and Nelson brought the cars we liked around, had the air conditioner ready, to let us test drive. He provided us drinks and made us feel really relaxed. I normally have anxiety car shopping but this time I was actually excited. To top it all off, Shae in finance was the icing on the cake. I went to Honda to have maintenance done on the CRV, ended up with new CRV.Asked Brandon to explain several features that I didnt understand. Complained about not having an automatic tailgate. Have limited use of arms and legs. Brandon said it wasnt possible to add one. Said there was a new CRV that had the automatic opener. Took a test drive, decided to take it.Brandon went above and beyond getting me into the CRV. Helped me switch everything from one car to the other.Had to have the Lifts taken from one CRV to the other. Brandon arranged this to happen.My on again off again son wanted to borrow the car to pick up daughter at air port in Orlando. Said he needed it by 5 or 6. Started to panic, talked to Brandon, he got in touch with several others. Im afraid the technician had a lot of pressure put on him. Let me know when it was done.Grateful to everyone, especially Brandon.

Had an appointment at 8:45 a.m. for an oil change at 10 I asked how my truck was doing they said they hadnt brought it in yet somebody had drove in before me burn oil change and they took them first so might had to wait even though I had an appointment at 8:45 when I asked the manager what was going on he said somebody had drove in before me at 8:30 and they take walk-ins when I asked him what was the point of having an appointment if they werent going to hold up to it he said thats how we run our shop that if someone drives in they takes up and the scheduled appointment would have to wait kind of defeats the purpose to have an appointment if you ask me I got there at 8:45 and left at 10:45 for an oil change

The sales department needs improving. The service department is good very friendly and helpful. The person I usually see in the service department is Clay very nice young man .

Just spent $1,000.00 on a new starter, tried to pick it up and all dashboard warning lights were on. unbelievable! . waisted all my time and money. whoever mechanic drove it out to parking lot, when it was supposed to be finished. stupid..

There appears to be a lot of underage children using the equipment. Not sure they screen them at all. Also, a lot of customers make cell phone calls while in the work out area. A big distraction and against posted rules. However, that said, they have a lot of diverse and good quality equipment. Have enjoyed going there. Would highly recommend them.

I purchased a vehicle from this business on January 13, 2017. The transaction was seamless from start to finish. I started the process online and then made a trip to the dealership. Everyone that I dealt with was polite, professional and very knowledgeable, to include Sales Associate, Travis Williams, Internet Sales Manager, Herb Gartman, General Manager, Chris Palm and Finance Director, Angela Depratter. I got a deal that I could not refuse on a great car! I was very pleased with the entire process. Chris Palm has an awesome team around him. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new or used car!

To start off.. we had issues with the car we purchased and every time we tried to contact them, they would try to push it off and say they would call back. But they didn’t..Next.. they took FOREVER to process my auto loan which then led to the loan expiring and by the time they tried to process it, the loan expired. I had to do the WHOLE process over again and it was just a hassle-tedious job. a job that could’ve been done MONTHS ago, and wouldn’t have to hurt anybody in the long run. Who wouldn’t want to process on a car payment right away? Anyway, let’s see how long Honda of Lake City takes this time to actually, correctly process my application.

My wife and I live in Jacksonville, so naturally we looked around at the Honda dealerships here. Not finding a positive connection, we looked online and showed interest in a Fit that Lake City had. Not only did they outperform and out price ANY dealer in Jacksonville, they treated us like friends. They didnt sell us a car...they sold us on them. Not only did we buy the car but my family here plans on buying theirs in Lake City as well. Kristen Beran, Omar Austin, and Jonathan S. all made the experience so fantastic that I will NEVER buy a car anywhere else. Thank you guys.

I went here to get my car service because it was blowing out hot air. I spent $700 thinking it would solve the problem but it didnt. About a week later it started back blowing out hot air. I took it back up there to only find out that something else is wrong with the car which was the same thing I told them that I wanted fixed. They had the nerve to say I had to pay another $800 in order to get that fixed. I really felt taken advantage of and now Im out of $700 with a hot car. The sad part about the situation was the guy didnt offer any other suggestions for me or try to get some of my money back. They jus money hungry people and only care about getting over on people. Will never go to this place or any dealership. Its ridiculous how they run business there.

My experience with the service department was abysmal at best. We took our 2005 Honda Pilot that was running perfectly except for the AC not working at idle to the service department. Now the AC worked just fine while driving, the temp was 44 degrees coming out of the vents as measured with a ac thermometer. Only at idle did it not work. The service department called us and said the Freon level was so low it barely registered on their gauge. We were told and recharge and evac was need to fix it. Well they told us it was fixed and when we drove it home and guess what, it was doing the same thing we took it in for. So much for it being fixed. We took it back and after a week they told us it needed an Electronic Control Unit to be fixed. (Why wasnt that discovered the first time ? ) So they replaced it and told us it is fixed now. Kewl!!!! Not so fast though. We drove it home and it sputtered along trying its best to shut off(Check engine light clearly on as well as the 4x4 light). So I grabbed a OBD code reader and plugged it in. Now I remind you that the car ran perfectly before. So we take it back up there showing them the codes(P3000,P0302,P0303,P0304,P0305,P0306 AND VTM Light, and Check engine light. So they work on it again for a week and replace the ECU and tell us the ECU is now good, but the other problems must have been there before and the (BAD ECU) was preventing the vehicle from displaying the bad codes. So I said to them, well if thats the case, and the ECU wasnt displaying the codes, why then was the car running just fine for the last 6 months. It wasnt until you changed the ECU that it started acting like it was not firing on all cylinders. No answer to that. But they did give me their answer to my problems. (Vehicle may need valve adjustment or fuel related issue. Need to diagnose further for diagnosis. Codes may still come up dash upon cold start. Advised customer it may be gas or fuel related. Probably a bad tank of gas, may just need gas drained and refilled. Well what is it? Do we not fix vehicles anymore? So in conclusion I have a vehicle that the AC works now, but sputters along and all my check engine lights are on. Not a way to conduct business in opinion. Would be nice if The owner of Morgan Auto group would contact me about the service I received.

I went in for an oil change, then I had a nail in a tire so they asked me if I wanted to get it out and patch it and I said sure whats the harm. That was a bad move I went home and literally heard my tire pop and the air start coming out. I called them they sent someone to come get it to fix it because the edge had popped off the rim. Then they call me and tell me I have to buy a new tire because the wear on my tire caused it to do that. NO, they did something to it if I hadnt let them mess with it my tire would be fine. I will never use them again. I also did not buy the tire from them it was their mestake why would I buy one more thing from them.they cant even own up to there mistake and at least replace it with a used tire. In the end I should have stuck to getting my oil changed by Walmart because I was told the oil change price was $32 it ended up being$20 more and they said my patch would be $9.98 but charged me $15.98 they arent worth my time.

Well very over priced. My car is a year old and needed a routine service nothing was wrong. It cost nearly $$500.00 I am still nervous they didnt do everything they said they would. Service person just knew what to say. Dont believe Ill return. Ill probably drive an extra hour to Valdosta Georgia to Honda there.

Just got kindly kicked out of the sales department and redirected to the service center by Sawyer lol. Hes greaat! See him when youre ready to purchase.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The salesman helping us was very sweet and we seemed to be working a deal until the female Sales Manager approached our table. She was a very loud, rapid speaker, which Im sure she was doing to try and confuse us. She was also a bit abrasive. She complained that we hadnt come in sooner and she couldnt understand why we wouldnt look at what we DID NOT care to see. It didnt matter what we had to say she had a response that not only contradicted her previous sentence but seemed to be insinuating we were lying. I have never felt so unwelcome from a car dealership whom I was attempting to give money too. I will not return to Honda of Lake City and would suggest that if you do you steer clear of a sales manager named Denise. She will make you feel horrible within a matter of minutes.

Bought an Accord there. Up side I never had to use the service department. Did not like the Accord so we went back to look at the crv. They seemed way to confident that we would buy what ever they dumped and they did just that dumped. They handed us a deal sticker price with an outrageous interest rate. Might as well put it on the Master Card. Pretty sure the salesmen had little control over that but the little weasel sitting behind the desk crunching numbers did. I am of the belief that a dealer has one shot to put their best foot forward not 2 or 3. They screwed us around for over 2 hours trying to get us to take the car homeIt was obvious they trying to wear us down so we would buy just to get the hell out of there. Other thing it was hotter than hell and with a showroom big enough for 5 or six cars everything was outside and that where you looked at it 100 plus degrees on the asphalt Buy a Toyota

Wow, still cant believe how easily this transaction went. I was in Tallahassee haggling with Proctor Honda over a new 2018 Honda Civic EX, when all of a sudden Honda of Lake city began texting me. Within minutes they had offered me the same exact car with LESS miles for a considerable discount. They then stayed at the dealership for an addition TWO hours as i drove from Tallahassee.
