Extra Space Storage a very clean facility. I had a temperature controlled drive up unit and during my time renting, my stuff was safe from any bugs, dirt, or debris and stayed safe from the ungodly Florida heat. There have been maintenance items being performed while i have been there such as re-paving and painting, and my storage items never saw a spec of dust from it. I would rent a storage unit from here over and over again if i needed to. I highly recommend, especially due to this facility having one of a very few temperature controlled, drive up units in the entire area.

Great experience with this facility. The gentleman who helped me over the phone was extremely friendly. I asked for a space that was easy to get to with a big truck and as close to the gate as possible. And they were able to get that for me without hesitation. I will definitely be coming back here again.

I just got a letter in the mail notifying me that my space was doubling in price! They say that they can raise your rate depending on the market, but when I go online the same unit is still going for the price I was previously paying if you sign up online, and $10 less than what they are trying to charge me if you sign up in person. So if they are going by the market price, then all rates should raise, not just current customers. Im pulling my stuff and putting it elsewhere because I have found many place that are charging the rate I was previously paying with them. This is not how you keep customers

So far its been great. We moved in last month had a issue with our lock and als the gentlemens up front and they were able to cut our lock so we can put a new one on. Our unit is climate control so its great because nothing gets ruin from the heat. They have good customer service !!!!

So I move out of the unit in the next day I get charged 227 for the next month. This is after the account had already been closed out and everything had already been moved out of the unit. After you close out your account you will be charged after you move out. Pretty sure all these positive reviews are paid for.

Get a good intro rate. Expect perpetual 10% annual rate increases. Place is clean and seems secure.UPDATEBased on reply rate increases from time to time oddly correspond to my original move in date. Nothing changed at the facility other than the security gates. Soon, your regular increases will justify the expense of moving to another, less costly facility....almost there.

I’ve used Extra Space Storage as the storage for my business for over 10 years.I had cleared out my prior unit and got a new one after a few months.I ended up coming down with covid shortly after renting a unit, I didn’t have time to move in and had to leave town. Before I left I had a new card issued and forgot to update them.When I got back my code didn’t work.The guy inside said that they tried getting in touch with me, but couldn’t so they closed my account out. I thought it was weird I didn’t get a message since I use google voice for my VM and gmail for my email, but I just let it go since they made it seem like since the unit was empty there was no issue.They setup a new unit for me, as they had rented out the one they assigned to me before.I moved the paper files into my unit, and everything is good, or so I thought.A few weeks after that I get a collection call from some law firm. Instead of telling me “hey you didn’t pay us so we put you into collections” they said my account was closed out and not to worry about it. I would have paid them right there on the spot, but instead they just rented me another unit and tried to act like everything was fine.I’ve spent probably $15k over 10 years and got thrown into collections over $250. I’m cleaning my unit out and moving to another storage place when I get back in town.

I rented a 10x30 foot unit for the sole purpose of being able to get to items needed while building our new home and pre-paid a year. Due to updates to property, the facility asked if they could move me to a like unit on at the property. They supposedly hired a moving company but moved our contents of the unit to a 10x15 and stacked the items from floor to ceiling and have told me too bad Im out of luck. I work in the storage industry and have never seen such a poorly ran facility. DO NOT EVER RENT HERE! Wow they could care less about their customers!

Extra Space Storage is great. Renting a unit and move in was quick and easy. The hours allow me to drop my stuff off after work at night and since everything is well lit I never worry about it being dark.

The Extra Space located in Lake Mary was very impressive, from the efficiency of the office staff, to the cleanliness of the unit. The prices are far better than their competitors, and the cleanliness of the units far exceeded that of their competitors. I have had experience with at least two of them, so I can safely make this statement.

I had an amazing experience. I walked in knowing the rules and procedures and not one of the staff members tried to deceive me. I love this space much more than its competitors and will tell all of my friends about extra space. Thanks Arnold, Josh and Luis for all your help.

First time getting a storage unit, I usually dont write reviews but couldnt help myself but to let everyone know the way I was treated here. I met a respectful young man by the name of Josh, this young man was very helpful and informative, he really went above and beyond. I will definitely be referring my family and friends.

When I arrived I was greeted at the door. Just went in for a quote on a 5x10 unit which I thought was pricey and was about to leave until Luis helped me understand the importance of storing with Extra Space. I have stored with other Storage Companies but by far Luis went above and beyond to help me. Luis not only got me a better rate but explained to me the reason to have insurance on my unit. At first I was going to decline it they made me feel very comfortable with storing with this location. I appreciate the honestly and I truly believe they care for their customers.

This place is amazing. I was greeted by Josh and he explained all my options. He made my wife and I feel like family. I usually use public storage but not anymore. Just look at it. I will tell all my family and friends.

Using website worked out very well and then I was assisted in completion by an extremely polite, enthusiastic and helpful gentleman named Ruiz. I would recommend this facility. They seem to be very up to date in the digital marketplace.

I stop by the Lake Mary Extra Space Storage place today and I was greeted with a warm smile. I am looking to rent a storage space to goods such clothing, hygiene products, household items for my up and come transitional housing program. Upon arrival this gentleman name Arnold whom introduce himself as the Manager was very informative yet passionate about the safety of my items to be store. His knowledge and confidence of this establishment assured me there was nothing to worry about in storing my items.

The location on lake Mary on rainhard Ted it is about month gate is open and is not working and it is not safe, everyone drive in snd out and we called snd we pay for no secure storage snd we called, they said we waiting for part, my god please don’t get unite there.

Luis at Extra Space is wonderful. The property is clean, and spacious. Our move-in process was very easy. We feel very safe and taken care of. Highly recommend!

Amazing!!! The minute I started talking with the guy I knew that this was the right place. We used to be with Publuc Storage and it didnt seem like the right place and we got a bigger unit here and it was still cheaper than Public Storages rates. Amazing staff. Super friendly and helpful!!!

Luis was very kind and extremely respectful and helpful. After purchasing online he called set and appt that morning and had everything set up and ready I was able to move in in minutes.

I did a rental online and when I got to my facility there was a lock inside my unit with instructions on how to properly operate. I was a bit afraid as I showed up to the facility after hours but sure enough, they have this process downpacked.

Absolutely fantastic customer service, from the customer care phone call setting up the rental (her name being Susan) to the front desk and service from Luis of Lake Mary. Sharon was very professional and helpful and went out of her way to make me feel valued as a customer. She got me just what I needed at a very competitive price and the location is just 2 miles from my new apartment. My unit was clean and secure and access was easy. She stood by the gate during me first entry to make sure my code worked without problems and even loaned me a dolly to facilitate moving my stuff in. I will gladly recommend this place.

I was really in a bind and needed a place to store everything for my one bedroom apartment. A good friend told me to check Extra Space as they pro-rate and the first month is free! I checked in and was met by Sharon...she was amazing!!! She totally took care of me and made me feel like family! Sharon took me to look at the different sizes and then went over all of the paperwork...it was really easy and fast!. I highly recommend going to Extra Space on Rhinehart in Sanford and renting from Sharon!

Leasing process was super smooth. Filled out an online form so a lot of details were done before I went in to finalize the lease. Luis is a great service representative. Facility is kept clean and in good shape. Highly recommend!
