I took my BMW into Affordable Auto repair Tire center Boynton Beach for a service engine light on. They could not diagnose the issue. I was told to come get my car. After leaving the shop and on my way home, several miles from the shop, my car hood flew open and smashed onto the windshield. In heavy traffic I was able to pull onto the curb. I closed the mangled hood and noticed my cracked-smashed windshield. I immediately took the car back to Affordable. The shop agreed to fix the problem. The windshield was replaced, but the hood replacement is an extreme disappointment. My car color is silver, the replacement black. Several dents and scratches on the hood. After l mentioned the hood is not as it should be..I was told this is all the owner is going to pay for.. I do not recommend going to this shop for auto services. Note, the hood latched has never failed and did not fail. After leaving the shop, my hood was not secure and therefore flew open. The hood latch has not been replaced and remains fully functional.

Took my Traverse this morning to Affordable Auto and Brandon was very helpful. He was prompt, professional and friendly and saved us a lot of money. He replaced my battery after other auto stores refused. I highly recommend Affordable Auto...I know I will be bringing my vehicles back for any future needs. Thank you Brandon, you were awesome!

Just had my first replacement of brakes/rotors on my Kia Soul along with a diagnostic test as my engine light had come on. Brandon and Sean were professional but friendly and worked in a timely manner. Found out my sparkplugs were also on their way out and they both went so far as to show me the parts they pulled out, explain what was going on in a way I could understand, and spent time just letting me ask questions about other issues.Overall, great experience and great guys to work with. I will definitely be returning to them in the future.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT take your car here. They have destroyed my moms car. They kept it for 7 weeks, mean while they took it to the dealership without permission or signing off on it. Lies after lies. Ended up having to get it towed back to her house. When it arrived they literally took parts out and left them on her back seat. Parts all over her car, it went in for one problem to then saying she needed a new computer to then saying after 7 weeks she needed a new engine. We have taken all our cars here for years but it’s not ran by the same people anymore. Please do yourself a favor and do not take it here.

Honest and trustworthy shop!!! The owner, George, is excellent. His mechanics are friendly but George is the one that gives that place its awesome reputation!! Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed. Ladies, you know how they love to jack up the prices when they see a women coming in because we don’t know about cars. This place is not like that. Ask for George and he will take care of you.

This shop helped when a fuse popped and. Diagnosed the cause all I did was tip the mechanic no charge.

Down in Lake Worth on business, our company car developed a bad fluid leak. Stopped in and asked if they could take a look, but they were slammed. Nick said to come back at 2 pm. Arrived at 1:15 and the team looked at the car and diagnosed the issue. They couldnt get a part until the following day, so they made some pieces to get us back to Ohio. They also did a quick oil and lube. Extremely affordable. Nick was great. This is a 4th generation family business and its easy to see why. If they treat out of state strangers as awesome as they did us, imagine how great they will treat repeat customers. This is how America works! Oh, Nick is a former hockey player so we talked hockey, which immediately let me know he was a stand up guy. Give them a try.

Then oil changes, tires, AC again which was remedied quickly. 0ver the past 9 years you get to know the guys like Nicky, Felix, George and Kyle and getting serviced is a pleasure. Affordable Auto repair will also tell you what to expect maintenance wise - down the road. Thats valuable to me.

Please do not give this place your money. And if youre considering it, at least get a second opinion. I recently had my car here and they convinced me I needed a new transmission. Then I was told I needed a new clutch which would cost even more. I declined the clutch, but had to decline about 4 times before they would accept my answer. They kept the car for over 3 weeks although the transmission came within 1 week. When I picked up the car, they had done the clutch for free and I was charged the estimated price. Then, a week later, my car broke down again. My mechanic I took it to that time stated there was no reason for a new transmission. This place only wants your money and their sales tactics are aggressive and disrespectful at best. I will never bring my car here again and hope that anyone reading this will thing twice before giving this place your money.

Tire had a slow leak. He noticed the leak was in two places, he plugged both of them for a total of $20. This was three months ago, the tire is still holding up. What I really appreciate is that he didnt try to up-sell me, unlike another tire shop. Fast, friendly, thorough service, thank you.

Got me in for an oil change even though they were extremely busy on a Saturday. Synthetic oil change was extremely reasonable.

Have a 2005 Chevy Equinox, love the car, but was giving me a lot of issues with the steering wheel, making noise and also had problem with the starter. I went to several shops and all of them just try to quickly get money out of pocket. Thanks God I found a honest and decent place as Affordable Auto and Tire, Bill took the time to check my vehicle and found that by just replacing some cables for the starter the problem was fixed. About the steering wheel they also were able to make much better!!I really want to thank you for helping me and provide me with an excellent and affordable price.

Radiator on my car completely blew up going down the highway. Got it towed to the auto repair shop. Very professional, very quick and the price is right even for the more expensive repairs such as long labor hour jobs. My new favorite personal recommendation for all my friends and coworkers! Some people think the mechanics are rude, but they are just very direct and concise with their speech. They have a job to do, dont forget that!

The splashguard on my car was coming off, again, and I looked up somewhere to go for assistance. The reviews all told me to ask for George the manager, but he was on vacation. Nick helped me, and was fabulous, and quick! Thank you Nick!!

They are very nice. Albert helped me and went out of his way to change a tire that required special tools to be removed. He was determined to help me out since I was stranded in a dark parking lot. You dont find that kind of customer service anymore. I recommended them for all your car repairs.

Shady business that will create problems that dont exist and upcharge as much as possible, but try to make it seem like theyre really trying to help you out. Avoid this place, its a total scam.

I had a minor accident with my car, that resulted in the front end being out of alignment.. Im a car guy, but I dont have an alignment rack in my driveway. I took it over to the Military Trail location because I saw a sign from the road. I went in and I told my story, the mechanic said he would look over it and check to see if anything was bent or broken. He came back in, saying the outer tie rods were bend and needed to be replaced, and the receptionist lady said the total would be $200. I said I would do the job myself, so I went to Advanced Auto Parts and bought a set of tie rods, totaling about $40. I got home and set to install them. Not a single thing was bent. The mechanic could of aligned my car just fine. I returned my tie rods, got my money back, and took it to another shop, and that mechanic aligned it perfect. My car drives straight as an arrow. I will NOT be taking another vehicle there, or recommend this place.

After having a horrible experience with a dealership in Delray, the Auto Club recommended Affordable Auto Repair in Lake Worth. Alan and Al were extremely nice & professional. They diagnosed the problem immediately with a test drive. The quote given was exactly what I was charged & they have a one-year warranty. I highly recommend this establishment!

This shop is terrible. I took my vehicle there for minor body repair. Their bondo patch was horrible, it looked like a 3 year old did it. I was left with multiple bubbles and streaks in the in the paint after their 3 attempts at doing it right. They said theyd have to charge me to do it again. So I paid over 300 bucks for a shoddy dent repair to my brand new vehicle (they refused to refund my $ or make it right). The manager was very unprofessional and a real hothead... Telling me to leave it alone or he might snap and do something physical (not in such polite terms). The owner was fully aware of the situation and did nothing. DO NOT take your car there!!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!I was in a car accident in my friends car and the tow truck driver took the car there. After speaking with the manager he promised to call me back after the adjuster went to look at the car to determine if it was a total loss. He did not call me back so a week later I called to inquire. When I asked if the adjuster was from the person at faults insurance or the policy the car was under, he had no clue and gave me some lame excuse that he never called me back since he figured the insurance company would.About a month later I received a call from someone in the shop about getting the title for the car, I told him I would speak to the owner of the car and get back to them. Less than 10 minutes later the manager called back to intimidate me saying if I dont get him the title he is going to get my drivers license from the VIN # and have it suspended! I told him I just spoke to someone else 10 minutes ago which was the first time anyone asked for a title, I couldnt believe how rude and unprofessional he was! The fact he thought he could threaten me with some craziness just a few minutes after someone else called me was it, I hung up on him and said to call my attorney and not to call me back!DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!

Worst shop in the town tried to charge $1000 for a cooling fan. Advanced auto and auto zone sell the fan for $170. They really tried to lie in my face about the fan and control module being sold separate when all other auto part stores sell them together. These people are fraudulent and scammers, please people do no trust them and do your research.

I went to the shop to have my AC recharged. I was only there fifteen minutes and, during that time, I saw three angry customers coming back unhappy about the service theyd received and paid for. The mechanic couldnt charge my AC and told me it was a leak...hed need to replace my compressor and wanted to replace another part that was working fine (out of my pocket of course). I took it somewhere else because I knew the AC was holding pressure, just not blowing cold air.I ended up taking my car to a different mechanic and found out that it was just an electrical problem from when I had my engine changed before. He properly wired it and all is well. beats spending 1000 for parts and labor that my car didnt even need. I should have left when I saw the first couple of angry people coming back.

My car ran over a wood screw and I had slow leak in rear tire. Mechanic Al did a plug without having to remove the wheel. I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes. Repair bill reasonable. I plan to try them in the future for oil/transmission fluid changes and tire rotations.

I had bad luck last Friday. 1st my wifes Dodge Grand Caravan broke a belt that morning after dropping my oldest daughter off at school. Drove it straight to the shop, it had lost power steering and the battery light came on right when I was pulling in. Allen checked me in, called me when they found the problem and ordered the part because it wasnt in stock locally. 2nd that afternoon while waiting in line to pick up my young kids from school, I noticed the temperature gauge on my Xterra start climbing fast. I had to pull over in a spot out of line, smoke was spuwing out the hood and coolant on the ground. Had to get a tow to the shop. They repaired my truck by Saturday, the vans part didnt arrive until Monday morning. But I got it back that afternoon. Great group of guys that got me going and at a very reasonable price. They definitely earned my business and my word as a place of good business.

I give no stars to Affordable Repair in Boynton Beach. My 94 year old mother brought her Toyota in for service back in March of this year. The engine would just cut off while you were driving, leaving you at risk to be hit. George, from service dept, assured her problem would be resolved. Well, after we got the car back the problem still persisted. Brought it back and George kept it for weeks and when it was returned, problem still persisted. This has gone on for months now, and my Mom is out about $2500.00 and she still does not have her car repaired. In addition, George lost her keys and she was never reimbursed nor did they get her a new set. Here it is August, and they returned the car to my Mom and it’s worse than ever. She called triple AAA and told them about this, since they are recommended by them, and they told us to get an attorney. I have tried to contact owner Nick, but he is never available. They lied to my mom and now they don’t even call her back. Do not take your car here. They take advantage of seniors and never follow up.

Not sure who this guy was or his name but he was rude. I went to repair my tire until next week and walked out to the car with this older guy. In a low voice he questioned why I was following him? Well being the customer I have every right to go to my car. I wanted to make sure it could be fixed but needless to say I took my business elsewhere and it was cheaper.

Horrible horrible Really depends on who you get that day . Sometimes theyre good but lately just gotten worse and worse. Always getting a different story about appointments. Never can get you in and out anymore. They have specific people dragging them down I feel bad for the people there actually working hard.

The People complaining must have huffed some fumes, these guys do a great job and they have a lively crew of guys. Like any other type of work, human error is always part of the game, but if there ever is any on their part theyll go out of their way to make it right.
