My family came to Palm Beach County in 1924. Being raised here, I have had many mechanics over the past 60 years of driving. Finding an honest and great mechanic was always a problem, whether I went to a dealership or private mechanic. Seventeen years ago, my friends, Bonnie and Paul Bennett, referred me to Hector, at Cross Complete Auto. No other mechanic has touched either of my vehicles since then. One vehicle, a 1992 Dakota, has 445,000 miles on it and still runs like the day I purchased it new. I refer many, many of my friends and acquaintances to Hector. Once they have used him as their mechanic, they stay. Two of my friends took their car to Pep Boys, and were told the repair would be in excess of $1200.00. I asked them to please take the vehicle to Hector before they went back to Pep Boys. They did, and it cost them $230.00. I have never met a more honestly nice person in my life. I know for a fact, that if I ever had a question or problem with any of his work, he would definitely make it right, at no additional charge to me. I cannot recommend Cross Complete Auto highly enough. And, yes, he does work on all manufacturers and models, both domestic and foreign. I value this mans friendship highly.

When you find an honest mechanic- you hold on to it! I diagnosed my check engine light and got it quoted else where before bringing it to Hector. Well Id love to review the place, but I guess Id have to actually go there first. My cars check engine light came on, so I went to Pep Boys and got it diagnosed. They told me the problem and the code, so I went home and looked it up. I know a little bit about cars, I can do an oil change and not get scammed by a mechanic, but this was WAY over my level. So I told my mom whos been living in the area for about 15 years. Im new to the area. So she recommended Cross Auto and gave me Hectors cell number. Raved about how hes a good mechanic with good prices.Called his cell number about 10 am. No answer. Voicemail is full. And its one of those automated you have reached (phone number) voicemails, which I personally dislike cause then Im not even sure if I called the right person. So Im like alright, great. This guy doesnt check his voicemail or even clean it out. Whatever. Maybe hell call me back right? Someone called me from this number kind of thing? Nope.About a week later I mention this to my mom, who digs out his business card. So I call his actual office at 5pm as soon as Im off work. Goes to voicemail. Again, the whole you have reached (phone number) thing. Bugs me. Also bugs me that apparently they close shop RIGHT AT 5:00, no ifs ands or buts. But whatever. At least this voicemail actually has space. So I leave a message. To be fair, I book it out of work at 5 too, so its not THAT big a deal. STILL no callback.I guess Mr Cross is just rolling in customers so deep he doesnt need or want any more. If thats the case, he must do some damn good work. Good luck getting ahold of him though. Ive gotten ahold of world famous celebrities on Twitter easier than this guy. And yes, theoretically I could go to his shop in person, but why should I have to do that, especially since he probably wont be able to fit me in right then and there? Theres a ton of other mechanics around here that actually answer their phones and want my business.

Mr cross replaced my car engine 7 months ago price was competitive. had 1 issue since with my breaks.
