Love the customer service and they do me right
Everytime I try to do business with the location on Memorial Blvd. in Lakeland Florida there is some kind of issue. I purchased a furniture set and it was a whole week before it was delivered. Then once it was delivered there were screws missing, still havent received the screws and its been about three months now, but yet I was expected to make a payment on furniture that was still sitting in the store. Then I purchased a sound system but there was no power cord. I was told at the time of purchase that the power cord would be in the next day but upon calling to see if the cord had arrived I was told that now it would take 3-5 business days to arrive. Am I expected to once again make a prompt payment on a piece of merchandise I have yet had the pleasure of utilizing? At this point I should be getting paid to store your merchandise at my house! This location really needs to get it together. Perhaps corporate needs to get involved. ..ijs!
On 7/06/2021 I submitted an order for the 2 piece (Sofa and love seat) online. The following day I called to set up delivery in which I was told today 07/10/2021 between 10:00am-1:00pm. 1pm comes around and no one shows so I call the store (Lakeland 01196) and speak with Caesar who tells me his manager told me the incorrect time and date. It was actually scheduled for 07/17/21 10:00-1:00. I proceed to explain I have made the first payment and I will be have made the second by the time 7/17 comes around. Usually I am understanding but there was no explanation outside me told incorrect information and this guy says “You only paid $10, and it doesn’t matter because it’ll go towards the merchandise.” EXCUSE ME ? Did you work for those $10?? He goes on to explain that is just how it works with RAC that it does not matter if I have or I do not have to product in which the payments are on. I request to speak to some one higher and supposedly Rudy, the manager that told me today, is on vacation there is no one else I can speak with outside him the assistant or any number I can call. I hang up and call CS (800) who was very nice and provided me a ticket number and advised the district manager will be in contact in
I would absolutely love to know why your employees feel free to use confidential phone numbers given to your company to harass people before and after your business hours. I am speaking with my attorney regarding harassment charges, not just on the business but if I take this step I will be pursuing each of your employees individually in civil court and I will exhaust every outlet at my disposal to make sure your company and your employees never break the law again. I will also be investigating and moving cases forward for anyone else that has been harassed or been defrauded by this franchise and its poorly educated staff. Zero customer service skills. Time for your employees to find out what happens when they are impervious to the law. Your unwillingness to pay a wage decent enough to hire people who will keep you out of legal troubles has started you down this path and I intend to take this as far as I need to.

In less than 10 days I regret dealing with this store. I went in for a gas dryer, which they didn’t have, but I’ve also been looking for a TV stand, with they had one I loved. It was delivered this past Monday damaged. I was told a clock fell on it, taking a thumb sized chunk out of the front edge in front of where the TV sits. The delivery driver took a picture and said he’d tell the sales people so they could knock some money off. I never heard from the store. Then I went on the app to pay my bill and found that a $500+ set of Beats headphones that I didn’t order or receive and would never order added to my bill, almost doubling the amount due. I didn’t make the payment because I’m not paying for something I didn’t want or order, and it was lumped together into almost double what was agreed. Today I called the store to complain. After being put on hold by a rather rude “salesman,” I was told it was taken off. It’s still on my account. And I was told the computer “must have added it.” So beware that their computer will add random expensive merchandise to your account. I then asked about the discount for the damaged tv stand. He put me on hold and came back and told me he didn’t know anything about it. No discussion. I told him the driver took a picture and he just repeated that he didn’t know anything about it. Didn’t try to investigate, tell me he’d look into it, nada. And to top it off, I was charged a late fee for what was their mistake! I’m exceptionally unhappy and angry about my experience at this point. I will not be getting a dryer from them and I’m on the fence about keeping the TV stand as much as I love it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE!!! After you sign that contract these people turn rude and dishonest.

I got a bedroom set on Monday from them I was told it would be delivered Tuesday or Wednesday. Never got a call back. I called them told them I work Wednesday so if it comes then please could it be between 1-3 I work at 4. 3 comes and passed so I call the store. I was told that the manager changed the time from 1-3 to 5. I had to get my shift covered to make sure I was here at 4 when they actually delivered my things. They didn’t even bring them into my house they took them to the door. Mind you I am 90 pounds and a female it took two grown men to bring these things to my door. I am very unhappy.
This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional. Only place I enter to get completely ignored. 3 people walked pasted and nobody said anything. I understand the phone was ringing off the hook but nobody even acknowledge me. 2 people came from the back SAW ME STANDING THERE and still said nothing.I only had 1 question to ask.Never again.
Great merchandise alright delivery
This store use to have a great manager that would go out of his way to make sure that you got everything you needed and we purchased multiple items from them but since he has been gone they go through managers and sales reps. so often that when there is an issue nothing gets resolved and they do not notate anything so the new manager does not have an idea what is going on. we have been trying to resolve something with our fridge since we were paying it but are still having troubles getting them to fix the first problem and now they are refusing to fix anything. We will not be coming back to this company......UPDATING..... with the new manager he was able to fix my issue I mean it crazy long but rudy took care of US and handled the problem that no one else was willing too thank you.
They do not require customers to wear masks. This is unsafe, and extremely disturbing. We are at the height of a pandemic and this place is taking it as a complete joke.
Victor, Alex, and the ladies in the back office took great care of me and wasn’t pushy or shoving product down my throat. Will definitely return to this store over any other. The upmost outstanding customer service.

I am thoroughly upset with this establishment my wife and I have kept in touch on a regular basis to ensure to be able to still make payment which isnt do til the 3rd of next month and i keep getting emails phone calls and text messages stating that my service and account has been canceled!!
I was about to sign paperwork for the purchase of a bedroom set when a customer came in with xbox questions. I was pushed aside for 30 mins. I hope a $300 console was worth losing $1,500!
Nice people and they show they care and want to help you. Rudy, i think his name is, financial manager. Its very friendly, profecional and keep things real with you. I recomend anyone to come and talk to him to get their household items. Good guy.
Worst experience ever. Managers hang up the phone on you when you want to give a complain. They said they would deliver by 6pm then called and said I had to be there at 4pm so I left my job at 3 because I live an hour away and have been waiting since. And every time I called they would say 30 min. Then they want to say they’re drivers have personal problems? Have been waiting over a week for the delivery. Worst place don’t recommend! Only gave them a star because it made me, wish there was an option for none.
Horrible costumer service I don’t recommend them at all! The manager is mean and doesn’t work with you. I was late on my payments and finally got a hold of someone after 16 days! Because don’t have voicemail I offered to pay all of my late payment and they said no and started taking legal action after 16 days! Even when the contract says 90 days the payment has to be late for them to take any legal action. I am returning my items and will never go to a rent a center again. Horrible horrible service and staff. Go somewhere else!

Absolutely awful experience with this store and their staff. I actually returned merchandise because of the staff and spoke with their corporate office regarding their unprofessionalism and conduct. Go an extra few miles and fid another store, not necessarily another renting store brand, but even another one of their locations. I would leave no stars if it were possible.
This place is a RIP off and intrest is lake 100%. Friend got a ps4 and paid about 900 at the end of it.
