Purchased a Dryer and wouldnt heat went to parts location and spoke with the lady and one of the repair guys he said he knew what part I needed he got it came back and opened the box well long story short it was the wrong part and was told they wouldnt take it back even tho their employee opened it so stuck with a $70 part that I cant use the office manager never called back after several attempts to resolve the issue here still not resolved.

Whirlpool had scheduled warranty repair work on our oven for broken oven feet through this company. The guys that came out to fix it messed up one of the other legs without even checking their work before leaving. And not only that, they had tore up our vinyl floor by dragging the oven along it. After calling the company and emailing images of what they had done (minutes after the guys had left as they left so quickly I didnt get a chance to confront them about the damage) I never received a response to the email. They came back out to fix the leg after whirlpool scheduled another appointment through them. But still never received any kind of response regarding the damage they caused. Avoid this company.

Bought double wall oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, 6 burner and Viking cooktop, I would say I spent a couple dollars. My six burner cooktop was putting black soot on my pots and pans. They wouldn’t come out and fix it without charging me a service call. Brand new appliances should not perform like my cooktop was. What’s worse is Viking ships with the appliance set up for which ever fuel you use, propane or natural gas, so they ordered it set up wrong and before you say anything, they should ask what fuel you use and this is either a question you know the answer to or you don’t, do if someone didn’t know it would be easy to figure out. They shipped it set up for natural gas when I use propane. So I am not an appliance repair man but I fixed it myself. Any decent appliance repair man should be able to tell you that the your appliance is set up for the wrong fuel that you use. Any decent appliance store should service the customer after the sale when the appliance is still new.
We had our fridge/freezer break down on us during the Covid quarantine... I was referred to Bill @ G&W, and called him... he walked me through a temporary fix on the phone, which got us by for over a week, and then one of his techs came out and replaced the broken heater with no trouble at all. Very responsive, friendly and great service! Thank you!
Prompt, courteous, excellent scheduling. They let me know when they would arrive and the day they were due called to verify. Fixed my washing machine quickly and without comments about the way the machine was being used.

I would highly recommend G& W Appliance Repair to anyone. We just had a Service Tech out to repair our Microwave. We didnt expect him to be out in the bad weather, but he showed up in a timely manner and was very curtious and knowledgeable. Thank You G & W Appliance for the great service. Ready for this? They returned my calls...They answered the phone when I called. They were very flexible on adapting to my schedule and on more than one occasion. G&W fixed our dishwasher which was under warranty and kept me in the loop all the way.I asked them to give me a call prior to coming to the house so we would be sure to be there when they arrived. I never heard, We cannot guarantee our technician will call, but we will give him the message.No sir, they said,Sure thing. We will call when we are about 30 minutes away....and they actually did it too! Our dishwasher died on Sunday night before the holiday week, I went on G & W. Went to the showroom on Grand River out by the airport and was greeted by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff person. Monday morning, I told him the urgency of which we needed one and on Wednesday a new dishwasher, Kitchen Aide was installed and working by 9am. They are fantastic, knowledgeable and efficient. Job done, wife very very pleased and holiday perfect, 10 guests for 4 days, no problem, super dishwasher, thank you very much, highly recommend this group!!

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.We called G&W to look at our Maytag dryer that was not heating properly. Don came out to look at it, told me that he thought it was the thermal limiter and that he needed to run back to the shop to get the part, but hed be back shortly. More than two hours later he still was not back so I called the shop. They said he was still looking for the part and would likely not be back to my house that day (at this point it was past 4pm). He was supposed to call to let me know when he could come install the new part, but never did. We ended up calling someone else to come fix it.
Im 100% + satisfied with the service I just received on my Maytag washer from G & W Maytag Home Appliance! The problem was diagnosed at the end of last week, parts ordered and repair is already finished! The repairman was TOP NOTCH. He really knew what he was doing, and gave me lots of tips about my washer, so I learned a lot this morning. I would HIGHLY recommend G & W for your home appliance repair. They were supposed to come out on Wednesday and they came out on Friday. They looked at the dryer and said its working ok charge me $90. And left. Its still not drying right. FU . G&w
Not the best service. I bought a used washing machine last summer. It will not drain, agitate or spin now. Called, got no help. They wanted several different fees to come out & look at it. Cant estimate the cost to maybe fix it over the phone, I was told. Ive bought all my appliances from them for 20 years, but that didnt matter to the girl that answered the phone. Their customer service is declining. No problem, plenty of other sellers elsewhere.
Came and told me, without actually touching the stove, that I needed a new one because the parts were out of production and would cost too much to repair anyway. They couldnt show me a broken part and balked when I said I didnt care if it cost more to repair than to replace.Noteworthy is that they charge $90 to come to your house even if they cant fix your problem, but offer $50 off a new purchase if thats the case.I told them on the phone and in person that it seemed like there was little incentive for them to service, but I was willing to let them try.The service man refused to touch my oven so I explained that I would not be giving them $90. He told me it was no hair off [his] ass and left.5 weeks have passed and I have not gotten a bill.Also, we googled the issue and found a forum that explained how to push a series of buttons to reset the control panel. This fixed the problem and took exactly 8 minutes.
The ineptitude regarding customer service is astonishing. Don, the manager, is no help at all. He reneged on a prior deal he made with me. Claimed that he had no knowledge of the agreement. Poor experience.
Our refrigerator quit cooling, after waiting for the repair man all day he showed up in a car and spent less than 10 minutes looking at our fridge. Told me to just replace it after opening the door (not looking at anything else). He did not test anything and told me the Freon is out. When I asked him if we could just re-charge it he said, I guess but you have to get a refrigerant guy out for that. My husband and I had already ran numerous tests (this is not our first time working on appliances) and eliminated some of the possible causes. He told us our compressor was going to have to be replaced, however we had already tested it and it tested fine. We also tested the Freon to re-charge it and it tested perfect, right where it needed to be. I had low expectations when he pulled up in a car but out of desperation let him in anyway and cost myself $90 for nothing, I still do not have a working fridge and no idea what could be wrong.
Purchased new freezer/fridge from Home depot on 9-18-17, delivered on 9.20.17. Called in 9.21.17 because freezer would not shut tight causing ice to build up, The warranty center in my area was G and W. Man came out told my daughter within 2 minutes needs freezer seal large gap. I just called them on 10.2.17 to find out the truth or a lie as to why no call to me. Was told that the man left me a voice mail with a estimate and was waiting to see what I wanted to do. Excuse me lie#1-no voice mail, #2 unit is at this time 3 weeks old and is under warranty. If a zero star was possible you would get below that for your lack of professionalism and because your man lied. Dont lie to me or test my patience. I will have fun with the repair person when and if he decides to be the one to install seal.!!!!!!!
I hate to even give this company 1 star, we originally ended up with them through Maytag as a warranty fix, we had thick black grease leaking from our washer, they came right out and fixed it, we then called them a couple months later for another washer repair for my dog grooming salon, what a nightmare!! The 1st guy came out, spent 2 minutes looking at it, took my check for $90 and left, the next day a different guy came with a part, contradicted what the other guy said and the part was wrong, finally on the 3rd try and a week and a 1/2 later and daily trips to the laundromat with dog towels, they got it running. Then, 3 months after the original washer, that was under the warranty started leaking the thick grease Again, this time when we called Maytag we requested another appliance service center, we actually got someone local and he tore it apart and showed me where G & W had actually punctured the compasator and then used black tape to tape it up, this is what caused the leak, not the motor that they replaced and billed Maytag for so, NOW Maytag has to also pay for something they G & W broke. I feel they are a shady company, NO referrals from us!!
Called for an emergency repair. Customer service was excellent. Problem was resolved in minutes. I will continue to use this service and will highly recommend to friends and family.
Very friendly was not pushy. Was surprised at the amount of inventory they had to look at. However being a Monday would have to wait until Saturday to have a delivery because it has to be ordered.
Made an appointment for repair through Jenn-Air with G&W. Had to wait a week for the appointment and called this morning after the arrival time. Manager told me that they declined the call with Jenn-Air, basically because they dont want to work on built-ins. No call to the customer from G&W to see if they might be able to help or from Jenn-Air. If you use them, especially through a manufacturer referral, call to confirm that they will actually do the work. Wasted a week due to lack of service/confirmation.

Need a belt for my dryer a technician wrote down the wrong part number, giving me the wrong belt. Went to return the belt and they refused my refund
