We have been using McDaniels for our primary residence cabinetry needs since 1989, and we still love them. When it came to remodeling our cottage at Higgins Lake we were happy to hear McDaniels would service and deliver to us in northern Michigan. Even more delighted we were able to get all of our remodel project materials in one place: cabinetry, countertops, faucet, hardware, as well as our vinyl plank flooring. We were able to use our own contractor from up north and our own favorite supplier back home. Julie J. was patient, provided guidance, and really listened to what we wanted. Our requests were not for the popular selections most people favor, but more of a cottage/cabin feel. We are delighted with the transformation! Our designer, Dave, came up with a plan that fit our needs and allowed us to use our space in a way we would not have imagined. He was very creative and listened to what we wanted. We visited the showroom and had a difficult choosing our cabinets from the vast collection. So many choices! With their help, we made the right choice and our new kitchen looks fabulous! I just had the best experience buying my new refrigerator from McDaniels. If you need a good salesperson to work with I would highly recommend Sarah....she was the BEST!! She was so professional and followed everything thru from beginning to end. Our way into our kitchen was only 32 inches but the refrigerator was 36 inches. Sarah came to our house and measured and figured out a way for us to get the one I wanted. They had to remove the doors to get it in. She even called during installation to make sure everything was going ok. Also all the other staff we dealt with was great. The two installers that were here were fantastic and I give them 5 stars too for everything they did. If you need an appliance I highly encourage you to go to McDaniels and ask for Sarah. You won’t be disappointed.

We recently purchased a custom cut counter from McDaniels. The counter is stunning and fits the space perfectly! Carrie Sieffert was wonderful to work with. Very professional; detail-oriented with excellent communication - she kept me informed in a timely fashion throughout the entire process ensuring that our counter was perfect. I valued her expertise and opinion as we worked through the selection, purchase, and installation process. I highly recommend Carrie at McDaniels for any project and would absolutely use her services again; her eye for design is second to none!

We had an outstanding experience remodeling with McDaniels and our designer, Nicole Dagen. She had fabulous ideas and design expertise that completely aligned with the vision for our first floor remodel. We used McDaniels Kitchen and Bath when we decided to update our bathroom. Our designer was Nicole Dagen and she made the whole process go very smoothly. She listened to my thoughts on what I wanted and she came up with a beautiful design and colors. We used Granite Construction which Terry and Rich were fabulous to work with and kept us posted every step of the way. I would recommend McDaniels and Nicole for any remodel or build job you may have.

Before embarking on a full kitchen renovation, I did significant research. McDaniels advertises a stress-free, full-service process, and since I’d never been through a home reno before I figured this was my best option. It was far more expensive than ordering from a big box home improvement store, but I figured it would be worth it.McDaniel’s was great during the sales process. After which the greatness, or even adequacy, stopped. The first cabinet I opened on delivery was damaged on both the frame and the door. The next cabinet opened was the sink cabinet. It was the wrong cabinet. The other large cabinet, for the built-in microwave, was also ordered incorrectly. Lower cabinets came unfinished on top and the end cabinet (the bookshelf on the end of the peninsula, or the piece de resistance!) unfinished on the sides.As the project went on, it was clear the measurements were not thorough, and every modification costs precious time and money. For instance, moving light fixtures because the cabinet wasnt measured for depth costs an additional electrician and a drywaller.Every single cabinet in my kitchen has dents or pitting. I expected that a small amount of cabinets would arrive with scratches or minor damage, I didn’t realize every single one would! The quality does not reflect the price of these cabinets.My stove, which was ordered and paid in full, never came. I cancelled it after waiting 4.5 months.What bothered me most is that no one cared that my project went so off track. I was constantly calling to check on delivery of stove, cabinet doors, trim, etc. My designer was very responsive. She always got back with me quickly. But I was never offered real solutions to these issues.In sum: the value for money is not there. I dealt with the same level of stress, frustration and contractor modifications I would have with a big box store, but it cost me roughly 60% more.McDaniel’s is a sales company, nothing more. If you know that going into it, you are far better off than I am.

Julie Johnson was our designer for our total kitchen remodel. It is exactly what we wanted. Everyone was very responsive of our wishes and needs. The whole job stayed completely on schedule and we did not have one day of delay. Granite Construction did the installation and they were also as fantastic as McDaniels and Julie. I added some before and after photos but they dont do justice to the amount of work that was done and the joy I feel working in my new kitchen. Dont hesitate, use McDaniels!!

I am writing on behalf of my mom Nancy Squier as she does not have access to a computer.My mom used McDaniels Kitchen and bath when she decided to update her bathroom. Her designer was Nicole Dagen. Nicole was fantastic... she listened to my moms thoughts about what she was wanting and together they came up with a beautiful new bathroom for her. Nicoles patience and kindness and professionalism were greatly appreciated. The whole process went very smoothly and I would recommend McDaniels and Nicole for any remodel you have!!

In summary, I want them to do more work in my house and can recommend without hesitation. They were attentive to our needs, professional, highly detailed and priced fairly for the quality and craftsmanship we received. Once designs were signed-off and materials arrived, their project timeline was on-point and accurate. I trusted them in our when we werent there. Mekisha and Terry were thoughtful and exceeded my expectations. Mekisha was particularly helpful in finding a design that would work and ultimately created an entire new footprint for our first floor while being attentive to my aesthetic preferences. Terry was a gentle perfectionist and insisted the craftsmanship consider every possible construction variable and details. These pictures reflect the before and after. Im so proud of our new kitchen, mudroom, and dining area.

We bought LVT flooring for our house we where planning on selling to add to the overall appeal. The flooring was beautiful!!!! There was a lot to choose from and our sales person Nicole was very helpful and knowledgeable on this flooring. We put the house on the market after taking her suggestion for the color, and it was sold in 24 hours, and we even received a compliment on the floor from the buyer. We will definitely be back to remodel our next home. Every person we met there was very friendly and was willing to help. In fact we were so impressed with the quality of the floor that we recommended it to a family member and they went into McDaniels and spoke with Nicole as well.

The design process with John Michael was fun and stress free. John was helpful through out the entire process even providing support when picking out chairs and decor from third party vendors. Sincere thanks to Terry Cosper for frequent updates and quick responses throughout the entirety of the project. Terry even helped arrange a reactive plumbing visit when the cartridge in the upstairs shower (out of scope of work) created a water problem.Each and every craftsman involved was knowledgeable, hardworking, talented and respectful. Our expectations were exceeded at every step and we are forever grateful for the tremendous collective effort that made our dream a reality.

McDaniels Kitchen & Bath did a custom remodel on my master bathroom in December 2020. My bathroom is my new favorite place to be in the house. Nicole Dagen was the designer on my project, and from the first meeting she and I were aligned on the vision for the room. I live in a 20’s era rehabbed commercial space and wanted a bathroom that better matched the industrial vibe.I liked that they kept my expectations in check relative to my budget, which we talked about up front. I also liked that they assigned a construction coordinator who managed the project and timeline. They told me it would take 30-days, and it took 30-days.The craftsmanship is beautiful, particularly the tile and electrical work, which were the biggest portions of the project. All the contractors in and out of my house during the project were respectful of COVID guidelines, and I felt super comfortable with having them in my space.Thank you, McDaniels team!

We were in dire need of a bathroom remodel but didn’t know where to start. I’d heard good things about McDaniels in Lansing so thought we give them a try. So glad we did. We met Nicole Dagan and it was awesome. She took us under her wing and helped though every process and decision. She made several trips to our home in Jackson, once just to help me figure out how best to lay out the tile on the floor. Her calm can do demeanor and bubbly personality made the whole project fun and exciting rather than frustrating and anxious. She is truly an experienced designer and so easy to work with. We love our new bathroom and look forward to working with Nicole in the future.

If I could give negative stars I would. We built a new home and it was finished in December 2020. We used mcdaniels for all of our cabinets and countertops in the kitchen and baths. When we moved in, we noticed there were paint defects on two of the panels on the island. We were told that is “just how they are” and we should “love the unique quality of wood” even though you could clearly tell they only had one coat of paint opposed to two coats. After fighting with them to fix the panels; in March 2021 they finally settled on sending a painter out. It is now half way through June and still no painter has been sent out and communication has come to a standstill. I email Nicole Dagan almost weekly to see when a painter will be coming out and it’s always the same copy and paste email that they are working on it. We are missing door stops on all of our cabinet doors and a shelf is missing from one of our upper cabinets. Nothing has been done. This company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will never do business with them again and have told everyone I know about my experience.This is a use at your own risk company. If you want terrible customer service, this is the place to go. I waited until now to leave a review because I wanted to give them plenty of time to fix the issues but 6 months is long enough. If I could post pictures of the paint defects on the island I would.

We worked with McDaniels to renovate our entire kitchen and were extremely happy with both the results and service. Our designer, Nichole Dagen, was attentive and took time to learn our style and was very helpful finding what we needed. All of the staff we worked with at McDaniels were friendly and helpful including the receptionists and were accomidating when we had to bring our kids to the design meetings with us.Our kitchen is long but thin which made our design requirements difficult to accomplish, but Nichole and others spent many hours helping us find ways to maximize the space we have we ended up with a design that greatly increased the feel of our kitchen size. I was impressed with their knowledge not only the products they offered to put in but also the effect it would have on the feel of the area, for example how the lighting would play against our peninsula counter along with optimal light fixture placement to balance. Modern trends were no issues, we requested a waterfall counter at the end of our peninsula and they installed it perfectly.McDaniels parent company owns the contracting company, Granite Construction, who did the work for us which eliminated a lot of the planning and coordination as well as saved time since Nicole and the contractor could share plans and progress. We had contacted three other contractors to get estimates on the project but none were able to fit us in their schedules for at least 6 months out due to the size of the project, but the connection between McDaniels and Granite Construction got us started six weeks later. Granite was also great to work with. Each of their workers was very polite and professional and they were always responsive when communicating which is not always the case when working with a busy contractor.I felt the total price was very reasonable. McDaniels is able to order at a discount so the price was actually at or below the prices we would have paid had we purchased separately. We also purchased a new set of appliances through McDaniels and we paid about 5-10% lower for refridgerator, microwave, and dishwasher than we could find at Lows and Home Depot. The overall estimate was very close and they were honest about crediting any unused allocations.

Nicole Dagen, our salesperson, was great to work with. She helped us pick out the perfect flooring for our living room and hallway.

Terrible experience. Everything was presented as hassle free in their showroom with quality. However, after ordering it became apparent their entire team did not care about their customers. Kitchen was delivered and thats where the trouble started. Several wrong cabinets ordered. Multiple times the wrong doors were ordered. Stove was sold and was never delivered. Designer showed up once and simply lost interest and did not advocate for us. At this point, I strongly urge anyone that is considering them to go elsewhere. Zero customer service, poor quality, and constantly hiding under the CVID19 delays. Im sorry enough is enough.

What nice people, I was greeted when I walk in and could not believe all the displays. It was so nice and the designers where so knowledgeable. Look at this display they explained they can change some thing around to meet the budget.

We recently underwent a complete kitchen remodel and chose McDaniels to do the work. From the onset of design, to the contractor and plasterers, painters, demo crew, anyone involved in the process, the job went flawlessly and according to schedule (and on budget). Everyone was courteous and respectful of our property. Most importantly, they listened to what we envisioned and could afford. We would highly recommend that anyone, doing a remodel of any kind, give them a call and see what magic they can work for you.

Remodel of kitchen and bathroomsJulie Johnson was the consultant for the remodel of our kitchen and three bathrooms. The kitchen is now a professional kitchen. Its gorgeous! We had two bathrooms remodeled while we were home, and we had the master bathroom done while we were on an extended leave. Julie was excellent to work with. She brought samples to the house which showed that some of what I had picked wouldnt work. She also secured large samples rather than the tiny pieces on the boards, and thats how we knew our first pick wouldnt work. Julie took a lot of time to make sure the pieces would work together. The people who worked here are consummate professionals. The tile experts were phenomenal. When they had a question or concern, they talked to me about what I wanted, then they delivered. McDaniels hires excellent contractors. They were so good about checking in and keeping us apprised of what was happening. The quality of plans, materials, and contractors is outstanding. We are extremely pleased with our experiences with McDaniels Kitchen and Bath.

Carrie Sieffert was our designer. My wife and I are truly happy with the results. Have just stood and admired it a number of times. Her help with selecting the items, and the design were excellent. We picked a floor that when it arrived it just didnt look good with the rest. Carrie went to work and got it authorized to change and helped us pick a better match, its beautiful. Granite Construction did a great installation, everything on time. What a pro carpenter they have in Rich, great work.

Mike Jessup sent an email instead of showing up for our appointment indicating he wanted $100 or $2500 deposit before je would come pout and measure the counter tops even though we already had a verbal contract. He changed the terms of the agreement instead of showing up. Had Mike simply shown he would have had his 50% deposit.Then, shocker because I had asked about a veterans discount and inquired by phone as to why he skipped the appointment he rudely wasnt interested in our business.Mike Jessup had stated on Monday (that after a couple of months of the business being closed) he wanted to leave work early the day of our appointment.Maybe the company is hostile to veterans. Maybe leaving early wasnt early enough. Maybe the $100 is scam.I spoke to the President--same last name--and clearly this behavior is condoned as no real remedy was offered. Stone is commodity readily available. Go somewhere that isnt running the business like an afterthought.

I have used McDaniels for three projects, the latest a small guest bathroom. Nicole Dagen was extremely helpful in picking out exactly what I had in mind. I chose to keep the wallpaper and replaced the vanity and flooring. The finished project is perfect.

My experience thus far with McDaniels has been more than satisfactory. Kelly Souden designed our kitchen and I cant adequately put into words how wonderful the experience of working with her has been. Shes actually designed 2 kitchens for us: The first one was to be in the original footprint of our current kitchen, and that design was great, we loved it. But it wasnt until we saw her first design that we realized we really wanted to go bigger and expand into the dining room. I felt so guilty about the many many hours Kelly had put into the original design and I was worried she would be upset when we asked her to start over. Not so! Ever gracious, Kelly not only designed an entirely new kitchen, which required another visit to our house and many design meetings, but she did it with just as much of her characteristic enthusiasm as our first design. My husband and I have been impressed with her vision and creative problem-solving from the start, but what weve appreciated the most is her uncanny ability to get to the heart of what you really want in your design, even if you cannot articulate it yourself. Her intuition pairs very well with her zeal and talent for design, and we cannot wait to see the finished product!

McDaniels was a referral from our builder, and we couldnt be HAPPIER with our experience there! Start to finish, our McDaniels experience has been efficient, friendly, and prompt! Jenna took the time to meet with us on multiple occasions (sometimes, without an appointment scheduled) to ensure that all of our questions were answered; we changed the look of our plans multiple times, and Jenna never seemed impatient or rushed in her service to us. Prompt email communication, returned phone calls, and advice regarding services and products provided. Great showroom and excellent customer service (especially Jenna!). We will be going back for any future kitchen/bath needs!

We visited the showroom and had great customer service Spent a lot of time explaining exactly what we were looking for our new kitchen. They took down all of our information including our kitchen measurements and contact information. Weeks went by with no response from McDaniels. We called and the person who answered the phone said we were not in their system. Thankfully I had a business card so I had the name of the person that we worked with. She wasnt available so we left a message. No response to our message so we called back 4 days later. Again no response. Called again a third time we finally got to speak to her. She said she would have something for us in a couple days. Its now a week and a half later and still nothing. This is terrible customer service and follow up. I wouldnt recommend McDaniels Kitchen and bath to anyone.

After having our two bathrooms remodeled last year and our 30 year old kitchen totally remodeled this summer we highly recommend Mcdaniels for your next renovation project. Julie Johnson’s expertise and advice were greatly appreciated. We have had multiple compliments on our kitchen. Granite construction did an excellent job and were almost always on schedule. We are so glad we chose Mcdaniels to make this possible.

Remodeling your home is one of the biggest – and most expensive! – decisions a homeowner makes. When my husband and I finally decided to take the plunge and remodel our kitchen and master bathroom we started out by getting referrals from friends and relatives and attending the Lansing Home Show at MSU. After narrowing the list of contractors down to a manageable five, we began the process of talking specifics with each. Everyone we consulted was friendly, professional, and competitively priced but when we got to McDaniels and met Nicole Dagen we knew our search had come to an end! From the moment we met, Nicole shared our excitement and truly listened to us. Not only is she a gifted designer and consummate professional, she’s a wonderful person who obviously cares about her clients and is genuinely invested in her work. I can say unequivocally that it was Nicole’s skilled guidance that transformed our ideas into sophisticated reality and we feel very blessed to have had her in our corner. With Nicole representing McDaniels and Dave Feldpausch as liaison with their partner Granite Construction, I don’t think we could have asked for a better experience. Our project manager, Jeremy Craig, was absolutely awesome, stopping by regularly and checking in via text. He answered all our questions, monitored progress, and always had his finger on the pulse of the project. To McDaniel’s credit, everyone we met along the way was friendly and helpful – and the work crews all cleaned up after themselves (YAY!!) – special kudos to Allen and James who were especially wonderful!!! So, here’s the bottom line – if you’re considering remodeling your home put McDaniels at the top of your list, you really need go no further!!!

Kelly Lusis did a fantastic job helping us design our entire kitchen including countertops, cabinets and flooring. We had looked at other cabinet stores, but we were able to get it done quickly and to our liking with Kelly and McDaniels Sales help. We recommend them to others.

We were looking for a countertop for our new kitchen, we talked with Kelly in the showroom and found what we liked. She asked us to email a rough drawing for a quote, NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HER FOR OVER A WEEK. Sent a follow up email and called. Guess what? NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HER. Very poor customer service. will never shop there again or recommend them to friends.

McDaniels did an absolutely spectacular job with the kitchen remodel in my 30 year old home in Holt. From start to finish I had a wonderful experience.At the center of this experience was the designer Mekisha. She was excellent in helping me with selecting the cabinets, flooring, countertops, backsplash and hardware. When I started this endeavor, the selection process was especially concerning to me since my wife of 40 years had recently passed and I was forced to make all these decisions without her input. We had talked a lot about remodeling the kitchen but we had very few conversations about any specifics. Mekisha was very kind, compassionate and understanding of my situation, put me at ease, and gave me invaluable advice from a “female prospective”, which I desperately needed. I absolutely love the result! More importantly to me, I really feel that my wife would have loved the result too, especially the sparkle of the quartz countertops. Yeah Mekisha!!The scheduler/work coordinator, Terry, was super and kept everything progressing on schedule. He was always a great communicator and let me know when the workers were going to be there and when they were not going to be there. Even though we had some delays in the finishing work, the causes of the delay were beyond his control, he made every effort to keep me informed and finish the work as quickly as possible. Even though he is a Michigan fan, he is an extremely nice guy and had the beautiful green cabinets installed without too much hastle.The construction crew, headed by James, were especially great and did superb work. Their attention to detail and fine workmanship certainly made the final product, especially the built-in buffet, an absolute masterpiece. My dog is still sulking since she no longer has daily visitors to pay attention to her and love her up.Thank you so much to the entire McDaniels and Granite Construction team. I love my new kitchen and I loved my remodeling experience.

We had such high hopes when we left the show room! Jim responded promptly the next day and came to our home for measurements. However, he never sent the estimates. We followed up with voicemails and talked to different people. We never got a response back.

We had high hopes for McDaniels, based on positive reviews from family members. Sadly, they dont seem to take much interest in responding to clients anymore. Jim L. came to our home to discuss replacing our kitchen counter tops. He seemed friendly and knowledgeable, and promised to send an estimate as well as schedule someone else to come and take exact measurements soon. Two months later, no estimate received and no measurements have been taken. We have left 3 voice mails, and sent two emails requesting follow-up, and no one has bothered to respond to us. Its been a frustrating experience, and now our kitchen remodeling is way behind schedule.

So much went wrong...our experience with a certain sales woman did not go well. She rescheduled our appointments three times until finally after 6 weeks of waiting, she came to the house to do an estimate on our bathroom. She was not friendly, in a hurry. Anyway we left voicemails, emails and no one bothered to return our messages. Finally we called again and someone the sales woman responded and said she finally finished the measurements. Finally we got a quote for an exuberant amount of money $25,000 to renovate a small bathroom in an old house. Instead, we decided to hire a licensed handyman whose specialty is bathrooms and kitchens and our total including materials was $10,000.

We were so pleased with McDaniels on the outcome of our kitchen/living area and bath upgrades that we decided to use them again a month afterward for window treatments. On the first project, Tracie Tiedt was marvelous as she helped us coordinate the selection, order and installation of a quartz kitchen counter-top, four laminate counter-tops and two Marbelite bath vanities that would complement our existing cabinetry. The counter-tops and vanities arrived on schedule and each of the installers were very professional and did a superb job of fitting them to our cabinets and walls. Tracie also also arranged for one of their sub-contractors to refinish an existing Corian counter top that was showing 34 years worth of scratches and chips and now it looks like a new install.On our second project, Julie Johnson, our window treatment contact, was a joy to work with and her pleasant personality complimented her many years of experience in this business. She listened attentively to our needs, desires, preferences and our concerns then expertly guided us through the various choices for our 13 windows, sliding glass door, and a 10 picture window. When asked, she freely offered her opinions and helped us to consider ideas we hadnt thought of. She made two trips to our home, one to assist with the final selection and color choices and one to measure for all the windows. She kept us appraised of when the orders went in and the delivery schedule. Julie carried on the excellence we experienced from McDaniels staff in our first project and we highly recommend them.

By far the worst company Ive ever worked with.Not only were mistakes continuously made, there was no accountability just excuses. Apparently a $18k job isnt big enough for them. I have a laundry list of issues, setbacks, and communication issues even after working with 2 different designers and having the owner out to visit my home! A visit which basically ended with my husband telling him were were finished and asking him to leave our home because he was so unhelpful and showed no concern for the issues wed been having.For my project, I was adding one floor to ceiling wall oven cabinet to my kitchen, putting in an island, new countertops and new backsplash. I stopped everything once the cabinet was ordered because I had had enough.I dont understand how this company is in business. Im all about giving local companies business, but this was a DISASTER. They need some serious customer service and communication training. Multiple times Id go weeks without a promised call back or email. It got to the point where they had to find out second had from our 3rd party countertop template guy that we were no longer doing business with them. I wouldnt wish working with McDaniels on my worst enemy it was that bad.

Jim Lovitt at McDaniels was our guide and mentor in the remodel of the master bathroom countertop and sink which was completed recently. His attention and responsiveness were superb. He never failed to answer my questions or return my calls promptly. His knowledge about materials and procedures was excellent. Because of our experience with Jim, we will return to McDaniels early next year for kitchen cabinet changes and remodeling.I work in a business where a high degree of professionalism and client care are critical. My expectations in terms of service I receive from others are high. Jims work with us exceeded even my expectations. I recommend him and McDaniels without hesitation.Beth Baer

Several months ago I decided to upgrade my kitchen. My plan is to sell my home several years from now and know my home needs to be move-in ready.I started with the installation of a new floor and quickly realized I needed new countertops. At this point I decided to enlist the assistance of McDaniel’s Kitchen and Bath. I was introduced to Kelly who scheduled a time to come to my house, take measurements, pictures and make recommendations. Kelly’s time and effort, of course, cost a nominal fee. My idea for new countertops quickly morphed into a complete kitchen remodel. My friends and family pestered me to remove the wall between the kitchen and dining room, which would open up my already open floor plan. When Kelly and the contractor I chose for the remodel suggested the same, I decided it was time to remove the wall and replace everything in the kitchen. Best decision I’ve made in a long time.Kelly and her co-worker Tracie worked diligently to find cabinets and countertops to match the existing kitchen floor and hickory floors from the dining room. It took many trips back and forth between all of us with countertop, cabinet and flooring samples before making a final decision.Decisions were made and dates set for the beginning of the project. I was told by the contractor, the process would take approximately six weeks. I think in a perfect world, this could be an accurate estimation of time, but something always happens to delay a project. Vacations, illnesses, change orders, material delays, etc. With a project of this magnitude, my expectation was perfection. Two of the cabinets delivered were the wrong size. I’m not sure of the origin of the problem, but Aaron from McDaniel’s had replacement cabinets delivered by the next week. When the appliances arrived, the contractor pointed out the oven/stove top was not dual fuel, as I had requested. A miscommunication resulted in me getting an electric oven/stove top. I signed off on every single page of ordered material; therefore, this was partially my fault and one I would have to live with. Nope! Aaron worked with me to get the dual fuel oven/stove top I wanted. Once again, perfection was expected and met.Several thoughts and suggestions for going through a remodel process:Carefully read every page of your order before signing or initialing. You’re going to be excited to get the process going. Make sure you’re getting what you want.Be patient. Your house is going to be a mess and in disarray for a while. Even though your contractor will put up visqueen to separate the remodeled area from the rest of your home, there will still be dust.Be present or have someone you trust present during the process. There will be questions, some of significance, which require immediate answers.Time lines are only estimates. More than likely your project will take longer than estimated. There are a number of people involved in the process (electricians, painters, plumbers, deliveries), all of whom can cause a hiccup.Get to know the designers working with you. You don’t need to be best buds, but knowing them and them knowing you helps with design decisions.I highly recommend McDaniel’s for kitchen or bath remodels. They have knowledgeable and friendly staff. There are a multitude of displays. There are many samples of countertop materials, backsplash materials, flooring, hardware, etc. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, they don’t hesitate to recommend other resources such as Builders Plumbing and Heating Supply and Builder’s Hardware.

McDaniels redid our master bath. That is why we went for another remodeling project.
