I recently bought this beautiful BMW X5M from this dealership. I live about 10hrs away from them so everything was done through the phone and email. My salesman Randy Blackwell went above and beyond taking care of me and helping me through out the whole process, there was even a few days where he was sick at home and would still text or call me to keep me updated about everything. This wasnt just another car purchase for me. I am a car guy and i saved for a long time to buy my dream car and couldnt be more satisfied with the service i received from Randy and the rest of the team. I waited until i received the car and it passed inspection and it was registered to write this review and these guys didnt disappoint me. The car was just as Randy showed me on pictures and videos because remember i never saw the car in person until it was shipped to my house. passed inspection no problem and now its registered in my state and im very happy with my purchase. George H. was awesome to work with at motorcars. He lets us look at, drive and really take our time with multiple vehicles through our purchase process. In addition he had multiple vehicles shipped over from Kalamazoo just for us to see and inspect with no expectation of purchase. George as well work a very reasonable deal on a trade saving us significant money on sales tax! There was no pressure during our process and George really only wanted to help us find the vehicle that was going to be perfect for my wife and our family! Eventually we found it!

I bought a 2019 Honda Pilot and had a wonderful experience. It took longer than usual to get the title so that I could purchase the car but Tommy kept in close contact with me frequently, and had the car delivered to my home as soon as it was ready. They will negotiate a price with you here, but to sell a car with an issue is unacceptable. The back and forth of the car being saved for us, then it being sold, then claiming you can deliver it, then saying you cant... just a headache. You knew we were driving 4 hours out of state and paying cash, but wasted our time showing a vehicle with a rattling noise coming from the engine. Such an unbelievable time waster. Wish I could provide a better review.

Unfortunately, our review is not as favorable as some seem...my son purchased his first car(using all his saving and graduation gift money), and its a LEMON!! We had it about a month and it started overheating, took it into the shop, finds out the thermostat is upside down, fix it for 400 dollars, good for about two weeks, overheating again...just got the news, motor is blown(head gasket), now we are faced with $3500 for a new engine or eat the original $5400 and still have no car😪 Very sad first adulting experience for my son😪

Went to see Rick on 16 July 2021. He was very polite and listened to my concerns. He noticed that I was on my back looking at the underside of the vehicle and offered to use the shop lift so I can see the underside better. While inspecting, I noticed an axle seal leak along with tires which we’re getting close to the wear indicator marks. Asked if these would be replaced and he said that it will all be replaced if I was to purchase the vehicle. Although I did not buy the vehicle, the sales experience was phenomenal. Not too many dealers, especially those with something they don’t want you to see, will offer you to use the shop lifts so you can better inspect the vehicle. He also realizes the importance of worn tires and did not hesitate with replacing the tires with new ones when asked. I will definitely have to go back when I’m searching for another vehicle.

We were very happy with our purchase and the way everything was handled so quickly. However, after trying for hours to get our rear seat entertainment working, I took it to a Lincoln dealership in Grand Rapids and we were sold a very expensive vehicle that didnt have the rear entertainment in working condition. It was going to be over 1k to fix. I have emailed Motorcars of Lansing 4 times and only once have they responded. If they would just communicate with me, they would have gotten 5 stars.

Beware, read the negative reviews closely, they are all really similar. Look at their Yelp and BBB reviews, they are not good.Look closely at the car fax, they do buy items from Canada and sell them here and then need to be repaired. My purchase process started very well, I saw great feedback on both eBay and Google ( for the most part, figured the few negative were the anomaly), so I progressed. Initially the owner (John Badawi) was great, making many promises about the car being in like new condition, purchase to include weather tech floor mats, etc. I was told he was having the truck ceramic coated and detailed to the nines. Thought I found a dealer I would work with again as this was a corporate purchase...I was WRONG!! The truck was pulled off the transporter and initially; I thought everything looked great...that changed in less than 5 minutes. In less than a quarter mile, I noticed the left front parking sensor was malfunctioning (going off constantly) and the check engine light came on before pulling in my driveway. I figured it had warranty, so relax...then, after driving for a few more minutes, there was a very strong burning smell in the cabin. I called John immediately and he was stunned as to how that could be as the vehicle was fully checked out by a local dealer and was in top condition. He was supportive and said it had warranty and not to worry (this seems to be a common tactic). He also told me the floor mats had been ordered and were being sent to my address ( I never got them). The very next morning, on the way to drop off the vehicle at the dealer, I noticed that the steering column cover was broken, again, not the sign of a like new car. When dropping the truck off, I asked for them to go over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb as I just bought it and it was supposed to be like new. While at the dealer, they uncovered the following (photos included...be sure to look):1- Broken steering column cover2-Remote start didn’t work3-On star system didn’t work4-Front left parking sensor was malfunctioning5-HVAC system wasn’t working properly...direction of air flow wouldn’t change6-Front number wasn’t original7-Hood had been removed (what looked like multiple times) and had scratches all over the edges8-There was a small body shop repair evident by the poor quality work that was done.9-After market wiring harnesses were identified, signifying it had possibly been a plow truck (other damage aligns with this assumption)As they went to fix the HVAC, they had to keep digging in deeper and deeper into the dash…it literally had to be torn apart. At that time, they noticed residue on the interior, which was either from a airbag deployment or body shop work…it looks to have been in an accident that didn’t show on the carfax or disclosed by the dealer.Other issues I noticed were the following:1 – No paperwork/manuals of any sort…NOTHING2 – Driver side visor was missing the cover and is broken3 – Protective cover over the fuel tank looks to have been hacked off4 – Included floor mats that weren’t’ for the given vehicle.John did pay to have the non warranty items fixed (steering column and was incorrectly charged for my owners manual and key fob I asked to have ordered), so I give him credit there, however, you need to be careful…he offered to take it back if I bought a different vehicle through him, I agreed and then he flip flopped two different times, showing me vehicles I could buy and then tell me a deal is a deal. I wouldn’t buy a vehicle without seeing it in person and having it gone over by an independent dealer on your dime…in the long run it will save you a lot of time and money.Update - 5/26 - I went to clean it this weekend and found that there was overspray all over the entire hood. Nothing was disclosed with regards to any damage or body work, but clearly something was done. In the one photo, you can see where I cleaned a small area with a clay detailing bar.

I was sold a Lemon by this company. Upon redirect to fix it they did 3 times same problem. Inoqned this vehicle for 2 years drove approximately. 6 months all together. The sister called me being disrespectful about there products. Please please be careful dealing with these people. Trust me

Jacob was excellent trying to get me approved and krystal was great also and Simone couldn’t get me financed with a 5,000 dollar down payment on a vehicle that is 12,990 which is absolutely ridiculous and my credit score is right at the 600 range which isn’t that bad I wouldn’t recommend coming here for any vehicle the owner John doesn’t care about anything but getting all his money upfront at all it’s a little crazy that you would even consider this dealership for a vehicle especially in the Kalamazoo location complete waste of time and took my down payment before I was even approved by a bank

We went into Motorcars not expecting to buy that day but left with more than a new car. While riding around with my mother in law my husband and I saw a truck we loved. Not wanting to get my sweet mother in law out that much we just drove through the parking lot. She insist we go in to check on it. As it was exactly what we wanted. Walking in we where greeted by a gentleman named Randy. While we discussed the truck with Randy my mother in law took interest in a new corvette they had sitting in the show room. As she was admiring the red interior a man in a sharp suit came up to her asking how she liked it . He sat their making her laugh. Next thing we know momma was sitting behind the wheel of a 2020 corvette and the bad boy started. Ive never seen her light up so much. He even offered to take her for a fast spin. She was happy sitting hearing it rumble. We latter found out that the young man showing her the car was infact the owner . Even though we didnt get a chance to personally thank him . I think her laughs and our new trucks says it all.
