Prices are reasonable and they do a great job. Fast too. ππ
Iβve been here a couple of times over the years. The guys do a great job ππΎ I have family members who also get there cars rebuilt/repaired. Very happy with the service given to me by Mike and his staff. I will definitely be a repeat customer. I would definitely recommend shop! Thanks guys.
Ive gotta be honest the first time I pulled up I thought about looking anywhere else to take my vehicle. Thank God I trusted my gut. This has to be one of the best auto shops in the area. Their prices are good, and they have NEVER bsd me. I had to get my car worked on over the holidays a couple years back and the mechanic working on my car worked on the weekend to make sure I had my vehicle for the holidays. These folks have my business as long as I live in the Lansing area.
As far as their work, they do a great job. I have never had a problem with the quality of the work that they did on my cars. But when it comes down to the female who is the co-owner at the front desk, her customer service skills are horrible. My husband had an issue with them and she ended the call by hanging up on him. Also, she lied about something that she agreed to do with my husband and then turned around and said that she did not say that. The integrity is shot in my opinion because of what she did. For that reason we will not be returning to Outback. But once again I have to give their mechanics five stars.
We payed but they didnβt fix the truck theyβre not professional and have no business skills. I donβt recommend them at all they stole my money.
I have been to this shop several times and one thing I know is they are honest about what the issue is and will not overcharge. You can trust the diagnosis/cost, regardless of age or gender!
Great guys and great business. Would recommend to anyone.
Just bought a motor that I needed. Polite business thats the way I like it.
Great experience. Wonderful staff. Had my vehicle done quickly and efficiently.
The disposition of this review is a double-edged sword by reason of the incident itself, not being worthy of at the most 1 star, and yet, the workers, in whom I would be remiss in not saying, are excellent workers... and do great work for the right price. Therefore, THEY would be worthy of five stars. However, about the incident in question, I called 11/15/19 to set an appointment for service on my wifes 2013 Impala with the co-owner of the business. I specifically asked, were they able to change a Fuel Sensor and Fuel Pump Solenoid? She asked, in the tank? I specifically said, NO, in the engine. She said, yes, I do not see a problem with that and they could do it. So I informed her that I would need that done, and that I would bring the vehicle in that Monday, 11/18/19.When my wife and arrived at the establishment that Monday morning, I spoke with the co-owner again at the counter, and I reiterated what I required from over the phone. She responded, yeah I remember. After I filled out the personal information on the invoice I stated again at the counter, so how long do you think it would take to change a Fuel Pump Solenoid and the sensor? She said, it could take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours and that she was going to run some tests and would give me a call on the progress. So we left waiting to hear from her. The hours with going by when she was supposed to call me to let me know what was going on, and never called. So, 11/19/19 my wife decided to call the co-owner to see what was the progress with the vehicle. She proceeded to tell my wife that her car had two sensors one in the engine and one in the tank and that they used the diagnostic machine that determined both needed to be changed. She stated they could not fix the problem and for us to come get the vehicle to get a second opinion. When my wife and I arrive at the establishment, I received a copy of the invoice that stated, Fuel pump solenoid scan..., High Pressure Fuel Sensor, and Low-Pressure Fuel Sensor; That after changing these 2 sensors car still goes into limp mode/take to dealer for second opinion. In which, I had to go to Shaheen Chevrolet (a Certified GM Mechanic) who ran a diagnostic for $119.95. The result of their diagnostic was sure enough, to replace the high pressure fuel pump due to running E85 for fuel and causing the fuel pump plunger to stick. So, that same day, we took the results from Shaheen Chevrolet back to Outback to show them the results... She told my wife if I found the same part cheaper, then they would put it on. So I agreed and bought the fuel pump. The co-owner called my wife on the morning of 11/20/19 to tell her about the fuel pump that was needed. My wife had informed the co-owner that I had already ordered the part, and sent a picture, by phone, but, was the wrong part for the vehicle, and corresponded with a picture of the right part of a fuel pump solenoid... the very same fuel pump that I stated in the beginning, that I needed. So I called her to discuss with, and remind her that it was the part that I asked for from the beginning. When I brought this to her awareness, she denied it and offered over the phone, that if I would get the correct part, then she would have her guys to put it on for free. And with that being said, I agreed and ended the conversation without thinking of relaying what she said and writing. To my dismay of time lapsing unto 12/09/19 as I waited for the right fuel pump part to arrive via mail with the suspicion that things werent going to go right because of the time lapse. So, I called the co-owner again to discuss the things she had discussed with me and to remind her of the things she said upon our previous dialogue. She typically did what I suspected, and denied everything, including agreeing to putting on the new fuel pump for free, but then turned around and said when I got the fuel pump that they would not put it on because they could not warranty it. So, when I at last tried reasoning with her, she hung up on me.HaMachiach!!!
Outback auto repair is a family owned business that offers very competitive prices. I had them replace my wheel bearings about two weeks ago. So far so good. They promised me that they stand behind their work.
My family and I have been using this place for more than ten years!! Any time I have a issue I am able to bring my truck right in and get it the same day!! The quality of the work is great, if I had a problem afterwards it was fixed! Being a single mom of four the price is FAIR!
Great and quick service! Definitely recommend to support locals.
We have been using these guys for a few years for minor automotive repairs. Just recently we got some more extensive repairs and spent nearly $1200 with them. 600 for brakes and rotors and another almost 600 for certain things we highlighted including an engine light. A day later the light comes back on so were asked to bring it in to look at. I took the day off from work to take it in only to be told that I had to pay MORE for a job I just paid $1200 bucks for a week prior. They were told about the issue and said it was included in the initial price. They do not stand by their work and when asked about it we were given a bunch of excuses. We will be taking our future business elsewhere.
Honest, professional staff great work at a fair price.
