The experience at the Haven Smoke Shop is not only a great place to shop but the selection of items for my needs were unmatched by any other smoke shop in the Lansing area. I was helped and have been helped by a very knowledgeable person by the name of Dave. He answered any questions that I had for him as well as educating me on items I was looking for. Bottom line great prices, knowledgeable staff, and very friendly. I recommend this Smoke Shop to those who are looking for quality products at awesome prices.

Im a regular customer. I come in daily or every other day. This location is my go to store for items that I require. But recently Ive refused to come in when dave is working. I will come back another day if hes there. He was rude and his customer service down right unbearable. 3 out of the 5 employees are friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful when I have questions and concerns..

Came in trying to get a piece for my girlfriends birthday. Dude behind the counter, Dave, ended up talking me into getting an extra nectar collector, torch, and two candles. The dude doesnt even get any good type of commission. I dont know what these other people on here are complaining about him for. He deserves a promotion, or at the very least a raise. Only gave it 4 stars because I figured yall would be more likely to see it.

Cool folks there. They are the only ones who carry Mitra meds kratom. Reasonable price and they work.

I come here multiple times a week. As of late, every other time I come, the open sign is on, but the door is locked. I get if they have to use the restroom or something, but what are the chances of that happening to me the last 3 times I have been there? You cant make money and sell things if your doors arent open 🤷🏼‍♀️ Guess Ill just take my business elsewhere.

Im giving them four out of five stars at the moment, only because while normally I would give them five, and the business absolutely has my loyalty, but there is one little snag. There is one employee, a male by the name of Dave, who is just rude. Ive watched him several times; its not just to me, but to every customer he deals with. He acts as though every customer is a burden to him and every minute he has to spend serving them is taking out of his precious personal life or something. Not only that, but he even lies to customers; he lied to me twice, and Ive heard that he lied at least one other time to someone else, so he has no business sense whatsoever and he definitely does not match the rest of the staff of this fine establishment, who are on point and wonderful-I have nothing but great things to say about them. The fact that he rushes you, coupled with the absolute no return policy is a real good way to lose money so if you go in there and Dave is on duty, you might be better off coming back at another time. Just thought people should know about this.To be very clear: I love this store, and they will continue to be my only tobacco/vape store as long as Im in this area!

Worst shop in lansing 200% mark up. Cheap china junk throughout they also sell knock offs most artists will not work with him he gives nothing for the glass. MI wholesale is the Haven looks like they review there own stores.

“Manager”- or at least he said he was, tall African American man- charged my card 10.59 for Newport’s and didn’t even catch it, I had to bring it to his attention, they are usually 7 dollars and some change. He didn’t apologize whatsoever or give me a refund when I asked, female coworker had to give me 3$ out of the tip jar which I’m pretty sure still isn’t exactly what I was owed but I at least am grateful someone cared enough to make up for his mistakes. I used to love this place and was a loyal customer but now won’t be returning because of how “manager” handled this situation.

Usually love the store but register guy, Dave i believe, overcharged me. Made me pay full price for the whip-it brand butane CLEARLY marked buy one get one free and basically said theres nothing they could do about it cuz the card was already scanned.

Manager there was nice, she kept good conversation, helped me out alot and was extremely patient with me. Glass is good quality compared to these trashy chain stores as well.

Got some awesome pieces here out of the glass cases. Dont get the blind bags, my opinion theyre not worth the money all 3 blind bags I bought the bowl in them was broken.. They should really package them in boxes not bags. Save your money for a piece you can actually pick out they have a lot of them.

Absolutely love this place!People that were working were cool, worker help me build a sweet rig! He knew a lot about the glass, hooked me up with an American blown piece. They had imports too. Overall good selection...cool people, cool place.

Great head shop. Not a lot of tobacco oriented items outside papers and small rollers. We were looking for a lever action roller, but they dont carry them. The $0.80 tobacco blends are worth it.

I was here on 12/11/18 with the express intention of buying discgolf discs for a colleague. The two employees working at 6:30pm were helpful, and even took the time to tell me about other specials they had going on. The pricing seemed quite reasonable, if youre in the market for smoking gear, and it is conveniently located ron S. Cedar. It is sort of hidden on the side of the building that faces a side street, so listen to google maps when it tells you to turn!!

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. I purchased a Cvape pen from them yesterday. This is my second one mind you so Im familiar with how they work. When I opened it, it wouldnt work. So I brought it back today and the man working there was downright rude! He told me I must have broken it somehow and he would do me a favor and replace it this one time but dont come back in here trying to get your money back or trying to get a new one when you break this one! I politely corrected him and told him that I had not broken the first one, he sold me a defective product. Then he proceeded to tell me that my credit card receipt wasnt an acceptable receipt anyways. When I told him thats the only receipt he gave me he stated I needed an itemized receipt which was never offered to me!!!! He did end up replacing the piece of garbage he sold me the day before only repeating himself that hes doing me a favor in doing so. Im not sure if he was the owner or not but I am completely appalled by the lack of customer service, business etiquette, respect, and crap that they sell people. I will never shop there again and I would encourage anyone else looking to do business with this joke of a store to go elsewhere!!!

I went to Puff Puff smoke shop for Kratom. The employee was outside when I got there and stayed outside until I went to get him. The staff at Puffpuff answered every Kratom questions with I dont know.I went into The Haven and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! The staff greeted me immediately! They knew there products inside and out! They where able to ask relevant questions to recommend the right product for me. The Kratom I was sold, a MI Botanicals brand, was the best I have found!

Mixture of America blown glass and some nice imports. Prices reasonable for the quality. Cool employees, seems like a legit smoke shop. Mi botanicals kratom! The best there is in my opinion. Went on 4/20 and really like this shop.

I would give zero stars if that was an option... Went in to get a pen style vape and they didnt know anything about the products they sold the full size vape they sold me under the guise of being a pen vape leaked right out of the box and after misreprenting the product they didnt even want to honor the warranty swap printed on the receipt... They also tried to blame the malfunction on me stating that I abused it or broke it myself all in less than 2 hrs from the time of purchase.. they will never get a penny from me again

I stopped to buy a battery for a clear, which the female employee convinced me that all batteries were universal fittings and said it would fit my clear for $30. Guess what it didnt fit. When I went to return it same girl says oh we dont do refunds or exchanges. So another employee called the owner Sandy in which she offered a 20% discount on the correct battery, but still would not do anything on the 30 on had already spent!! Hell no, The Haven will never get another dime from me! Poor business practice! Uneducated staff!!

I went in and noticed a new guy working the register. He rang me up for some of there over priced kratom and the toatal was way higher than. Expected. I then ask the manager to please ring me up because it didnt seem right. She assured me that he had it figured out. I left the store . to have my phone blown up about owing the store 40$ . not a good expieriance not only that. You get way better kratom from smoky joes. For. As cheap as a penny a pill. Not to mention there kratom pills are bought from a vendor not made down the street is a storage building😱

They sell the most over priced kratom Ive ever seen, plus they put some B.S. label on it called Michigan Botanicals but the company is non existent online. Its also very weak so it seems like they probably cut it with some other plant based stuff.

Im giving this place a 2 because the guy wasnt knowledgeable about cbd products..my husband went and bought an e cigarette and what shouldve been CBD oil turned out to be a supplement..so instead of correcting the problem he refused return even though the receipt says we could..other than that never had an issue..I just wanted to return the supplement that I couldve hurt myself trying to smoke because I was sold the wrong thing..all I want to to exchange it for what I wanted..but instead Ill just leave this review in hopes they decide to do the right thing..
