WOW! We are very pleased with our new purchase of furniture! We shopped and found the perfect, high quality, Amish made in the USA, superior workmanship bedroom set. The assistant manager (Emily) was knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. She was eager to help us find the set that met our needs and taste. The manager (Ron) worked with our budget and when our new furniture was delivered, the two gentleman that set everything up were positively wonderful! Thank you Fenton Home Furnishings! Stop, don’t go to this place, about 2 months ago we went to this store to get a new queen mattress set,the salesman was so nice at the beginning, we pay cash for our order and the day of the delivery 2 weeks after they sent the mattress ( display one) I pay for a new one. No box spring (back order) until today never get box spring. We went to the store today to get our money back for the box spring the same salesman was super super rude. I called the store many many times before this day trying to find out what happen with the box spring and never get a honest answer for that. So today they said we gave you the box spring for “free”so there’s no refund . I said that’s not true nothing it’s free in this country. So then the salesman replied I cannot help you, go away. Bye..we didn’t move nowhere, we know the law, we pay cash and we want our money back, salesman was trying to lie and lie to us. Ok finally they gave us a check that they don’t want to issue with a cancellation fee... but don’t go check people reviews. Do business somewhere else

Id say that will save u money but I wouldnt know as this place refused to give me a price online or over the phone ....... Moral of the story folks...... Dont go here these people are garbage!

I had a great purchase experience at Fenton Home Furnishings in Lapeer. I worked with Mike Eldridge who made me feel like I had his undivided attention even though there were several other guests he was helping. I knew what I was looking for, so he pointed me in the right direction and made the purchase process quick & easy, even when I called the next morning with a slight revision to the order.

Had issues with the manager and our bed.. other employees were awesome and helpful. Did end up getting free delivery given the issues we had

Do not recommend this company at all! Would rather give zero stars but thats not an option. They took advantage of my mother who had just suffered a horrible house fire. Up-priced a desk over $940! My mom called very excited and was ready to buy her entire house of furniture from them. She wanted to show me what it looked like and measure the space where she wanted it set up. That’s when I found the desk on their site in frankenmuth for $949 cheaper we called and told them to cancel the order! They assured us it was just a computer error and said they would immediately refund the $949. Desk was delivered and setup 2 days later. She waits the month and gets her credit card statement and there was no refund! So she gets out her receipt and whoever did the refund screwed up a 6 for an 8 on her credit card numbers. She drives back to the store and they assure her they will take care of it. They call a day later and say we called your credit card company and it was credited to your account. So she calls her credit card and they say no mam just the original charge is on there no refund your statement is correct. She calls back and they say it’s an issue with your credit card not ours have a good day!They lost at least a hundred thousand dollars worth of furniture from this sale! Plus I will scream from the rooftops to anyone I know to buyer beware! Awful service to take advantage of a senior citizen, especially one who lost her 5 generation home and all her belongings.

The overall experience was great, very happy with price and bed. Delivery was on time, i did have to call to get a firm date on delivery. They said mid week at the store and while on the phone they were saying end week but everything worked out and was delivered on expected date.Great store manager his name is Ron, shout out to Ron! Bought a mattress set from their pay $2000 because I have back problems and they don’t warrantee it because my wife spilled some chocolate on the bed left is not a circle stain they said they can’t send the mattress back with the mattress is not built right it’s broken down on the left side I said that small’s thing they can’t do anything about it they will not stand by their products it’s a shame that a company this big doesn’t care about their customers

Clean and organized with friendly staff. We were looking for idea for near future purchase and the staff did not hound us or pressure us to buy something right away. Most likely we will be back when we finalize our shopping plan.Price may be higher than what one would expect from similar furniture at department stores but those furniture are solidly built and should last for many years, not a few years like Walmart stuff.

Kara was Excellent, she assisted us in every step of our purchasing process. She came into our home, look at our Living Room, listen to our ideas to what we wanted to do, took measurements and had a complete understanding . When we came into store for our review, she provided us with drawings of various options. The store provided us with a wide variety of quality furniture to choose from. Kara, assisted us with selection of style, materials, colors and furniture companies. At no point did she every push us. Our selection process took many paths until we reached the perfect furniture combination. We walked away knowing that Kara, my Wife and I had made a good knowledgeable buying decision on our living room furniture. We look forward to the delivery of our new furniture. Going forward, we will always purchase furniture from Kara and Fenton Home Furnishing.

Best furniture store i have ever visited, people are friendly and informative and their prices are better then any other store i have visited.

BEWARE! I started a puchase of 2 flexsteel chairs on sept 1, 2018 when i was told 6-8 weeks was the anticipated arrival time. It actually took 15 weeks to arrive. Upon delivery i discovered that the arm rest on one of the chairs was crooked. After multiple contacts with fenton they sent a repair tech to my house to assess and he agreed it was constructed improperly and even commented that a replacement, not a repair would be the correct thing to do. While doing this repair i discovered from the labels buried on the bottom of the chair that flexsteel products are made in MEXICO, despite how FHF touted them as a great American made quality company. He then had to report his findings to fenton home furnishings (FHF). Again after multiple contacts they picked it up, repaired and returned. Upon inspection it was still apparent the chair was not constructed properly and had also had further damage either from the repair or transport. When this info was reported to FHF they now will not respond to my requests for post sales support. They bent over backwards to get the sale but did not provide satisfactory post sales support and refuse to respond to requests to make this right.
