I hate to leave negative reviews but this places has well earned theirs. Among the grocery list of problems over the years: *persists to call me when my prescription is ready. It’s always in the middle of the day and I work nights. I try to screen only local numbers to ring in case there’s an emergency. Problem is they’re a local number and despite filling out forms and asking to be put on a no call list every time I get a prescription I get woken up. * I used before and after I was married. Every trip to the store I attempted to get the to combine my two names yet everything it doesn’t happen and I have to argue about who I am. * they frequently run out of medications I need despite calling (see above point) to say the drugs ready. Multiple times I drive there and came home empty handed. *long wait times. *never answers phone .... I could go on. Poor workers obviously need more staff and a better system. Do better.

Pharmacist as well as Tech were EXTREMELY rude. Waited my entire lunch hour for a COVID19 test for my daughter and still have not received the test. Pharmacist is very unprofessional and could care less how she speaks to customers. Techs also does not want to do their jobs. To busy talking about men while people are waiting. All should be FIRED including the pharmacist. find some more workers and as one of the other reviews stated.... you dont like your job then find another
It takes at least 20 minutes per car in drive thru to get your medicine. Inside is sometines longer.
Rude cashier manager on duty Nicole has just as bad attitude as cashier
If I could give them negative stars, I would. My daughter-in-law had her Dr call in an antibiotic on Saturday, due to an infection after surgery. And they didnt fill it until Monday after the Dr called them to find out what the situation was. They told her that they didnt fill it because she wasnt sitting there. THAT IS RIDICULOUS!!!! It only took 5 minutes after that. Luckily the infection didnt get any worse while we were waiting on them. Do your jobs or switch careers, you hold peoples lives in your hands.
I want to leave a -5 review. I have been on hold for the pharmacy for 32 minutes now. 32 minutes!!!! What could they possibly be doing over there, definitely not answering the phones. I surely dont want to go stand in line only for them to tell me the doctor didnt call my script in when I know for a fact they did. This happens all the time. This location sucks!!
Too many BAD experiences. They dont follow directions for example first taking my mom name off the auto refill list. They still calling over and over before its time for her refills and she told them twice. And when she do call in for her refill for one medicine. They have refill 3 of pills. When she only call for one.
The pharmacy is less than helpful. My daughter had her prescription sent to this location and was told she had to wait over a week for it. Other CVS pharmacies take no longer than 2 days. They refuse to be of any assistance.I asked family members about this pharmacy and heard similar stories. CVS in Destrehan somehow gets the job done. Why are they incompetent at the Laplace location?
The only positive is i was able to complete my transaction. I entered the store to hear complete silence. No one at the registers, no word from mgmt hiding behind the double sided mirror (i heard her coughing) no Welcome to CVS from the roaming store associate. I stood at the register for approx 3/4 minutes before a new hire comes up and states How may I help you. How do i know its a new hire, because i visit this store at least once a week. The older/seasoned employess welcome you upon entering and/or apologize for the wait. This isnt my 1st bad experience with the new hires, but it was def my worst thus far. And....what happened to the old store mgr?!?!?! Where is she?!?!? We miss you!
Great pharmacy. The company should hire more workers though. The employees need help. All things considered they are doing their job as best they can.
The pharmacy is the worst!!! Used them years ago and switched pharmacies because of the poor services and the issue remains the same. After today will the time I will use them. Because of this your company will lose a loyal customer forever. Can’t even hold medicine for 24hours without putting back. Also they were more worried about closing up than tending to customers last night. They should be worried about tending to the sick folks in the community instead of rushing out of the door. I work in customer service I know the feeling of wanting to get home to your family. But the gentleman who works the front is wonderful and kind. It’s the pharmacy I will NEVER use again!!!
Crew welcomed me and asked how can they help me. theyre accomodating except for that indian guy whose at the Pharmacy

BAD PLACE! you lost a great custom with your POOR words, YOUR not always right. You lost business with me. DO NOT USE THEM! Go to another store, they are slow, never on time, and always blame the custom.
Put in order on new Years day and wanted to pickup the next day and still waiting for it today I called and waited over 30 minutes to talk to someone and they tell it will be ready in 30 minutes Ill wait 45 minutes
Your standard CVS store, clean, good selection. Bonus is they have a friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand. Wait can be long with only one register open.
Pharmacy staff unprofessional !Went to pick up my prescription, Drive through was closed, Computer said pickup was for 10 am arrived at 11:30 am ! Made a comment and staff had a fit about personal didnt come in ! Not my problem !Customer is always wright ! Learn to shut your mouthAnd take the criticism !
You cant never get them on the phone to call and refill your medicine, I let the phone ring 20 time still no answer, I had to go there. This will be my last time going somewhere else. Poor service

When a doctors office tries to call the pharmacy to call in a patients prescription and the phone rings for over 5 minutes with no answer---there is a major problem!!!!
