Ariel and his staff were nothing but amazing. We built a relationship with them since we were originally supposed to be married in June 2020 then covid hit and everything changed. No matter Ariel was always attentive listening to everything I wanted and needed from them. My dress is absolutely beautiful and I cant say how much I appreciate everyone at La Sposa for being so great. My best day ever was made extra special because of my beautiful dress. Never once did I stress about the details of my dress Ariel and his staff inspired calm and confidence every time I went to go try on and especially during alterations. Thank you all!

VERY BAD, NEGATIVE ENERGY IN THIS PLACE. I paid so much money for my dress and the alterations were disgusting! I went 5-6 times to the fitting because it was never ready and at the end they still left a very bad job😡The owners/management feel entitled and want to charge for everything but, never want to resolve customers needs!! Another thing is that the owners/management never want to face the problem so they send the employees to figure out the problem instead of them. Theyre very rude to their employees! I have also caught them making fun of other customers for not buying expensive dresses😤😡!! God forgive them. Everybody in there seem miserable and they all need an attitude adjustment. The seamstress has a horrible, NEGATIVE attitude we cant even have a conversation in front of her because shell start making faces or noises, very childish and unprofessional behavior. All I know is this place is the worst bridal salon and has the worst customer service!! The only good thing about this place is the 2 young ladys in the front were very polite, and professional. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY DRESS SHOPPING.

Really bad experience, we are preparing for a wedding & the associates at this place are so rude. They made my mother cry due to the way they spoke to her and humiliated Her. We were told the dresses were fixed by length and any other alterations needed to be made. they were not worked on, we paid all this money to have great dresses and all for nothing. Definitely not going back, & will never recommend this place. I do not want to hear an apology, y’all need to hire friendlier associates or close this place down if the owners think it is great for business to treat customers this way, and if y’all hold people of high class on a pedestal than to treat every customer equally, then y’all obviously do not know how to run a business nor have customer service experience. I myself work in retail and it is safe to say that I would never treat customers the way we were treated here at la sposa. I am only rating a 1 star because i can not submit a review without a star, this place doesn’t even deserve a star. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Came into your store yesterday looking for a dress and the person in your front desk did not acknowledged us but the next people that came in she did ok i thought waited for a while see if she would say something nothing! I asked if i may look for a dress she said yes ok waited for someone nothing there was one passed by looked at me and like she saw no one saw another lady nothing finally a young lady very nice said she would help me and gave me a paper to sign in and a clip board and went to the back so i tried giving it to the lady in front and very rude response she asked what is that lol! So i did like a dress but refuse to buy at your store please help your staff in training or something. Thank you😕

I wanted pictures with my grandma in a wedding dress because she is very sick and my wedding is a year away. I went to la sposa for a dress and found one that fit absolutely perfect. Because I didn’t have the time to get it fitted, they were able to alter it with pins and told me I could come back anytime to finish the alterations. They were extremely helpful and had fantastic customer service. They are a wonderful family and treat you as their own! I would definitely recommend and come back!

I bought my wedding dress at La Sposa and was extremely happy with the ENTIRE experience! They lady attending me was so sweet and attentive every single time I went to the store. On my wedding day, I noticed my dress got wrinkled and called the store to see if there was anything they could do to help. The woman who attended me AND the owner of the store both came to the hotel I was staying at to hand steam my dress! I could not believe it and was extremely grateful for the most amazing customer service I could’ve ever asked for! I highly, highly recommend you purchase your formal gowns and wedding dress from La Sposa! 💕

Well they were VERY nice about selling you dresses but super rude about wanting services for it. For my 2 bridesmaids alterations were needed and when my sister went to pick it up they were rude and unwelcoming... they didnt even have her try it on to make sure it fit before taking it out the store. Any PROFESIONAL business knows that you need to do this to make sure they give great service, but no... my sister said they were rude and seemed annoyed she asked for service.

They have great dresses yet, I spend more then 500 bucks at the store. I went back to see if they had a facemask, and the lady didnt want to show me what they had available. Kept telling me that she couldnt show me what they had available to try and match with the dress I had just bought 1 week prior! I didnt want them to take out fabric but to try and match as best to the facemasks that they had on the showcase in the front by the registers.Pero para vender, extremely pushy and helpful. Dont recommend.

I recently got married on May 4th this year, and I bought my beautiful wedding dress here at La Sposa. With the amount of people La Sposa sees daily, and the amount of events that go on year round, there service is still incredible. Ariel was so enthusiastic and made me feel like the most beautiful bride, every time I put on my wedding dress. He helped keep my stress low and was patient with me throughout the entire process. The amount of respect they gave to me was the exact amount of respect I gave to them and it was wonderful. It felt like we were all family and that we were all a part of my special day. I would totally recommend La Sposa, they were very helpful and have the best customer service! As we went looking for a prom dress for my niece, once she decided on a dress to try on another customer was on the floor claiming the dress my niece was trying on was hers when clearly the dress was up for sale. As they were making a chaotic scene the staff from La Sposa were very professional in handling the situation. Dresses are amazing in selection and the staff are highly professional and know how to manage their retail establishment. Im satisfy with the overall outcome of my experience.

I’ve shopped here twice and both times I had a great experience! The consultants were very kind and patient, I was even approached by the owner who was very welcoming to all the clients. All in all, it was a great shopping experience and both times I left with a beautiful dress that I loved! Will definitely keep shopping here!

Do not rely on this place for tailoring your dresses. They do a very poor job and will not have the the correct measurement or the correct machinery to accomplish tailoring needs for your dress. After having two dresses tailored here for my sisters wedding they assured us they wouldn’t be cutting any fabric. When the dresses were received they were still too big and one of the dresses was to small. Of course we couldn’t fix the dress that was too small because they cut the fabric, even though they said the wouldn’t. Now we have the dress falling apart because the stitching on the dress is absolutely horrible. Not to mention that the measurements are uneven. This business is a disappointment and are very rude to customers.

Love this shop! I got my prom dress here, my grandma found some dresses for my little cousin here for her first holy communion (that she couldn’t find in SA or Atx) and my sister will hopefully be getting her prom dress here also. Definitely bad experience!!!The manager is such a rude person.Bought my wedding dress there the tailor could never listen or understand the way I wanted my dress I had to pay out of my pocket again to go somewhere else to get it fix! As if the dress was so cheap😒 I wanted to return my veil and he literally told my mom to leave!! Not to mention we bought 2 other dresses we brought business to this place & that’s how they treat someone How rude is that? Never recommending this place. They make u feel less & don’t listen to you!! As it is wedding dresses aren’t cheap and you have to spend more because the store couldn’t help you! Unprofessional!!!!!

The shopping experience and customer service was really great. I really appreciated everything Mine did for me. She helped me find the perfect dress for me and made me feel very comfortable.

I paid $220 for my bridesmaid dress after the initial fitting I wanted my dress length to be adjusted but they assured me it was a good length. When we all put our dresses on for the wedding day 6 out of 12 of our dresses were missing the hook to keep the zipper up. My hook broke half way through the wedding making my zipper keep going down. I couldn’t dance due to the zipper as well as my shoe getting caught in the length of the dress, so I sat down the entire time at the reception. Seriously a waste of money and such a disappointment with their services and quality of dresses.

Everyone there is always so helpful with anything I need and they are always very attentive. I have had a great experience there and they made finding a wedding dress easy. I would recommend La Sposa to any bride.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went to this place to search for a formal dress for a cruise. As I walked in the door a lady asked me what size I am, without giving her name or any introduction. I let her know I was a size 6-8 depending if its European,etc. She gave me a look and said you are a 10.. I looked at her and said no, I am a 6-8. She again replied with your a 10 and pointed at my hips. This was the most shocking and most disrespectful experience I have ever had. I wear a 6 in jeans and have never felt uncomfortable with my hips but she definitely was body shaming me. I left with complete disgust. Please dont ever give your money to these people, they are horrible!!

Worst experience ever!!!!!!! Ive never felt so humiliated in my life. I booked and appointment with time. When I got there, my consultant was M.I.A. I saw another consultant and I asked her if she could help me. Yes, she was with another client, but she said yes. When she asked me my budget, I told her less than $800. She rolled her eyes at me and send me to the clearance section. I was looking by myself for a good 45 mins until my consultant showed up and told me non of the dresses I choose could be tailored to me. She only gave me ugly options and they were nothing like I wanted, I did find some nice dressed in the clearance section but they werent an option. I left right away. I never felt so poor, fat, and under appreciated as a customer.

I had a very good experience at this bridal shop. Thelma was the lady that helped me with trying out wedding dresses. She was very patient in finding the right dress for my body type. Definitely felt at ease.

I honestly had high expectations about this store but had heard from other people that experiences varied from good to bad. in my personal experience, the consultants were okay to work with especially the seamstress. i feel like the front desk receptionist with the short bob haircut was the meanest of them all and not in personality but in body language and facial expressions. After learning my budget was not more than $2,000, i did feel a little hesitation from the lady with the bob haircut. She proceeded to showing me some dresses in the style that i was looking for and finally after trying on the 3rd dress i fell in love. Thelma was my consultant and i enjoyed my consultations because she always made me feel like i was a customer and not a burden, well for most of my visits at least. the dress was beautiful and alterations perfect. i believe the only bad experiences i had was with feeling judged because i am not the cream of the crop of Laredo and i am a working citizen and not from a rich family. overall it was an okay experience but for next time i will not be shopping here for my gowns.

Very bad service from the lady that shows you around i was able to try only one dress nd told me to come back a later time when i was gonna purchase. Its my first time getting married nd i went there to get prepared for the month of october i only have one month to look for what i really want nd this lady just kick me out of the place like that. I had a good experience buying my wedding gown here. The staff i have encountered have been respectful and helped me find my dress.

Aside for a young girl and a tall lady, the people asisting are not very aproachable. I bought my daughters dress there but refused to purchase mine. Seems to me that unless you are buying something, you get them to be nice to you. Couture quality but for me is all about the attitud and being nice to every customer. Very disappointed.

My niece was there a few days ago and she was trying on some dresses for prom and she had 3 dresses and my niece liked one of the dresses and they were in the process of selecting a dress also negotiating a price and alterations to the dress. When my niece stepped out of the dressing room to speak with her mom and her grandmother a total of 3 minutes a lady came in and used the dressing room and took my nieces dress. My niece went back to get the dress and the lady was saying it was hers. My niece and my sister spoke to the owner Ariel and he was so rude and said to bad, you left, he was arrogant and very unsympathetic. My niece was so upset, the issue is also that the manager and sales associate knew the dress was being considered, there was talk about alterations and price. The management, owner and sales associate were incompetent. The people that took the dress sounded and acted like they were friends or previous customers, so that may have been an influence in the actions of the owner/ manager. Very fishy situation!!!

Worst experience ever! I had just started looking for wedding dresses. It was my first stop because I had seen something I liked on display outside of their store. I walked in the lady at the front gave me an aweful look. Didnt even go up to me to ask me if I needed anything. She just stared along with 3 other employees that were just standing around. I asked the lady at the front if I can look at some wedding dresses. I didnt want to try anything on just look. She told me only by appointment. I asked again if I could just see them specificlly the one on display. She told me to make an appointment. The other employees just stayed quiet. She said she could help and to right my information down and that they would call me. She walked away and laughed. I have no budget on my dress and I have 9 brides maids. Its been a month now and I never got a call to set up an appointment. I will never step foot in there again. Worst customer service ever!

Horrible service! Went in to look for a dress for my teenage daughter and they made a face as we walked in. It was 15 til closing time and both ladies were making rude remarks saying that they wanted to leave already. No introduction, no can I help you?, nothing. Please avoid shopping here at all costs.

PESIMA experience that we went through their DISABILITY to make the necessary adjustments to a dress that by the way paid and they were not made, they left pins on the sides hurting with one of them, that was how we realized the situation and the owner almost It makes me understand that it was our fault for not checking the dress when one is trusting them. WHAT IS ASSUMED IS A RELIABLE PLACE .... so 0 stars,,, the bad moment nobody pays me with anything.NEVER RETURN THERE !!!!!

I went to Sposa in February of this year and chose my wedding dress. (I want to acknowledge Mrs. Carmens excellent attention and kindness! She helped me a lot and agreed to assist me even though another one of the women had already told me that not for not having an appointment & its understandable) I settled it that same day and they told me that They would talk to me in about 3 months to let me know they already had the dress. Four months passed and I was the one who decided to speak because I was doing so much (I still have the slight suspicion that they didnt even order the dress and gave me one of the ones they had there) Finally I went to the appointment for the adjustments and asked that They will add rhinestones. Just pay the amount of that. They told me that for the next appointment I would be ready to bring it to me. The day of the appointment arrives and the dress only picked up the sleeve adjustments and the rhinestones had not been worn! The excuse of the Dressmaker was that the stone had not reached them. (Another friend also bought her dress and asked for rhinestones in her dress, her wedding was almost 1 month after mine and hers had already started to put the stone) It should be mentioned that I am not from Laredo and they were making me give oquis laps. For the next time I spoke to verify and not turn oquis. They told me to stop by him the next day early that they would already have him ironed and ready to swim. Total for things of time someone did me the favor of going since I did not have time and at the mere hour because as they had not ironed and I was not ready. In short, they ended up giving me my dress 2 weeks before my wedding, which was at the end of October, since I bought it since February. They have beautiful dresses not for nothing I chose my dress there more if I had known that I would battle so much, I would have chosen other options. Again. I thank Mrs. Carmen who was the only one who always showed kindness and excellent service!

For me it turned out to be the best place in Laredo where I can get the most beautiful dress for the most important occasions of my life ... but even better, I can say that the treatment of the girls has been the best treatment I have received every time. I have needed to go in search of some dress or accessories I do not hesitate to go there because I already know that there I find what I occupy and also with a very special treatment ...
