Drove by the dealership w/my Husband & we decided to pop in to ask about their Jeep Patriot. After test driving it, we started the process of buying it. Mike Harris was great, he explained everything to us about how we were financing with, what their Warranty would cover, & how much we needed for our down payment. The process took 2 hours from start to finish (1 hour was just us waiting in line to get into bank). The whole process was Easy Breezy. Once we were done, Mike took a picture of us w/our car & we were on our way. Would definitely recommend getting a Vehicle here. I’d been shopping for a used car for about a month-trying to find the “right” one. Yes, I looked on Car Gurus and Car Fax sites, did my research, and went to many dealerships. I don’t think I’m alone in being reticent about buying a used car- the fear of getting a lemon-the dreaded hard sell salesman, and now that people are getting stimulus checks, cars are being sold quickly.Yes, I encountered some hard sell salesman as well as the “syrupy sweet talking” type. There’s nothing cheap about this place except the prices which are very fair. I was driving a 2004 Jaguar and I did not want to fix it when a ECU computer became defective. I only had 2 days left before I had to get the Jaguar register, however, because of that ECU issue my car would not pass a mandatory smog test. I was frantic because I only had 2 days to find a car. I saw a car on Car Fax and it was for a 2013 Hundai Elantra Limited that looked nice in the picture. I called to a dealership called Charlie Cheap Car and found out the car was still available I had talked to a very friendly person named Laura and told her I was coming to see the car. When I got there she invited me in and I sat with her talking about the car. She went thru everything that the car had to offer. We sat for quite awhile and she was so lovely and so down to earth and wasn’t putting a lot of pressure on me. She knew my situation and wanted to make sure I really wanted to buy this car. She could have put a great deal of pressure on me telling me other people were calling about the car and it’s a popular car so it will sell immediately. She didn’t do that we sat and talked more and she seemed very concerned about my needs and maybe we should take a test drive. I test drove the car and I liked it plus it looked brand new and it was a 2013 Hundai Elantra. She also let me know about my option to purchase a warranty which I feel was a wise idea on a used car. I ended up buying the car from Laura and it needed a new motor mount which the dealer took care of immediately. Also the tint on the rear window had been ruined from the sun so Laura took it on her day off to get the window tinted. I have bought cars in the past and it was so stressful. Laura made my buying experience very pleasant. I like the car it is just what I needed at a great price and now I have a reliable car without spending a fortune to maintain or repair. I enjoyed working with Laura, she made it so easy and smooth. Thank You

I’m here to update my experience. so I bought a mazda 2015 from this place and it had bad scratches on the windshield all the way to back glass and it took them honestly a month or so to ONLY get my windshield change. Now, Laura is great and she helped a lot. She was also aware of the scratches. I honestly should’ve made them change the paperwork to say the exact thing to change all the glass too since even w/ verbal discussion (which chris I think he’s the manager assumed that we never spoke about it. We did. Him and Laura saw how bad it looked.) I guess dealing w/ lots of people as well it’s hard to remember. Who knows. I had to text Laura couple of times and try calling them until they changed my windshield the last minute. I’m updating my review because I’m honestly not expecting them to call me back (which from Chris he was gonna call after reaching out to the guy who fixed my windshield to see if they could try and buffer it out but nothing and its been 2 weeks or so lol )I had to pay $400 for changing my rear breaks LITERALLY a week of getting the car bc it was squeaking so bad which btw they say they had it checked. Annoying. I guess all I’m saying is bring a guy with you or anyone who is knowledgeable with cars. And just be careful.

Mike is the guy you should look for when you walk into Charlie Cheap Car. I don’t have the best credit in the world and don’t make a lot annually but he made it happen. I walked away less than 24 hours later with the car that was eyeing for the longest time. I am the type of person who asked a lot of questions, and Mike answered all my questions. Make sure you know what you need/want, do your research months before coming in so you won’t walk away sad. Understand that this a used car dealer which experience might be better than buying at a dealership.

My team and I were looking for a reliable, local-use vehicle. We researched places online and shopped for 2 days across multiple used car dealerships. Apparently, we saved the best for last. Charlie Cheap Car was the last of many places, but it was first dealership to offer us water and a clean bathroom. We worked with Valerie -- she was friendly, informative and very resourceful! She gave her honest opinions on the best deals and we test drove two cars after digging into a quite a few potential options. They had all history readily available and cars were all priced well as compared to Kelley Blue Book.

Poor service. Online rates or estimates are wrong. I put in the amount i had down for the vehicle I wanted and got a rate, come to find out, they told me the bank wouldnt approve a loan for so much. the guy then says while I wait to hear back from the bank, look at this cheap 2003 that you can pay 6,000 for and had the nerve to request additional down payment. Ive been to this place several times. I thought with a better credit score and better income that they would do better to work for me. But the first guy Mike was ready to tell me no before even running my credit. Horrible service, I would never recommend someone to this business and Ill be sure to let everyone I know about their poor service.

Go in and see Mike, hes great!! And, the owner, was a great guy, too. Small size lot, but they have a decent variety of cars and good prices. I had gone to 5 other lots. Some were OK - even good, but at Cheap Charlies I caught the July 4th Special - which was $2K less than other places I had looked AND the car only had 60K miles! There was a minor problem - which they had their repair shop fix. Ill go back.

Absolutely the worst place to get a used car in Vegas. At first my experience was amazing, Chris and Yogi helped me out from start to finish in getting me my car(a 2012 Chevy Sonic). However, not even ten minutes after I drove it off the lot the check engine light came on. I called the next morning but received no answer so I decided to use my warranty that I purchased with the car to take it to a Chevy dealership. I proceed to hear from the Chevy dealer that I needed A WHOLE NEW TURBO(that is a several thousand dollar fix mind you!!)! I called Charlie cheap car and immediately got attitude from the financial manager(or at least that’s what he calls himself, I get a different answer everytime I call) Yogi and he says that their mechanic would not have known the issue and if I want them to fix it I need to take it out of the Chevy dealership to get it fixed, even though they had originally told me I could take it anywhere I wanted to get it fixed!! Chevy wanted to charge me to take it out since they had yet to hear back from my warranty and Charlie Cheap Car REFUSED to pay the bill to get it out EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR FAULT IT WAS IN THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! I had to pay $500 in repairs the week after I purchased my car and Charlie Cheap Car refused to cover the cost because it was ‘not at their location and I should have taken my car to them in the first place’ like excuse you I would rather my car actually get fixed by a professional and you should still cover the cost because you sold me a car you had nobody even look at. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY their mechanic did not know about the issue unless the mechanic did not PROPERLY look at the car like they should have. Charlie Cheap Car is exactly that, CHEAP. They will clean up the car to look as good as possible but do little to NO work on it, and then your car will break down a month later and they won’t do a damn thing about it. Same thing happened to my boyfriends car, he purchased from them and he has not owned the car for THREE MONTHS and he already needed a NEW TRANSMISSION, NEW BRAKES, A NEW RADIATOR, AND A LOT MORE BRAND NEW PARTS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF BEFORE THE CAR WAS EVER SOLD. I have not even had my car for two months and I need new brakes as well, new windshield wipers, my check tire light is on even though they had promised my tires were BRAND NEW and my car has started to make a loud high pitched squeaking noise. Charlie Cheap Car might seem great at first, but they ask everyone to put their reviews up immediately and they do that for a reason. If you notice, most of the good reviews put up do not have a lot of details except that Charlie Cheap Car is good and to buy your car there. Everybody I know that has purchased a car from them has come to regret it not even 3 MONTHS LATER, if I were you I would ask and see if a mechanic you trust could look at the car you are looking at there before you buy it, because I PROMISE their mechanic has done absolutely no work on it.EDIT: I had to take my car in the shop again for some routine maintenance, no big deal right? Well I find out that my whole entire cooling system is leaking and has been leaking for months(I bought this car in SEPTEMBER) and my warranty is refusing to fix everything that is wrong with it even though the parts are under warranty. Long story short, my car is completely ruined and I haven’t even owned it for a year. And I still owe $5000 on it!!!! Ultimately Charlie cheap car did the most basic and cheapest maintenance they could get away with on this car and turned it out to make a quick profit. Absolutely disgusted with this place as the same exact thing that has happened to me has happened to my boyfriend and a friend of mine who have both purchased their car here. I’m honestly surprised that some of these ‘good’ reviews haven’t been edited or changed as I have yet to hear about a car from here that has lasted more than a year. This place doesn’t deserve to open back up after this quarantine is over.

First off I live like 800 miles away. During the first week of October 2020 they ran my credit, I was quick to call them and inquire as to what was going on. Had to wait on hold to speak with their finance guy( either Ryan or Chris) they looked and assured me if it was anything it was a mistaken entry. Go forward a month now there is a 15k hit to my credit for a 2nd car loan. Avoid this dealer at all cost. I will be following up with las vegas metro and the bbb.

After going through frustration week after week, driving and looking at pre-owned cars from craigslist and other internet sites, I went to Charlie Cheap Car and bought a perfect car for my son to use to go to school. We are so happy and relieved to have found a trustworthy and reliable car dealership. We purchased a 2005 Toyota Camry. The car had only one previous owner and had all the maintenance records, along with the original purchase sticker and owners manual. We are so thankful that we didnt have to continue looking for months, as we had a wonderful, patient, and informed salesperson (Sam), who found us a perfect car for our budget that fulfilled our needs. I highly recommended purchasing a vehicle from Charlie Cheap Car, as we could not have been happier with our purchase.

I original had the place rated a 5 starStopped there while car shopping and was approved easily and fast. That is still a good thing. However since purchasing the vehicle I realized I was misinformed about my vehicle guarantee (which i paid extra for) as it covers nothing!When I called the place for help I was told they no longer can help and I had to take up all concerns with Guarantor company. Poor customer service after taking the vehicle home👎🏼 I would not return

Excellent place to buy a used car, I bought a used 2009 Toyota RAV4, clean, no mechanical issues. Salesman Mike Harris had me finished up in a couple hours. No high pressure sales, had the Carfax report, test drive, answered all questions. One of the best car buying experiences ever. Had the car over a week now and it rides great !!

This is my second time shopping here. They are extremely customer oriented and honestly do have well priced cars. This visit, Sam helped me out, I had gotten financing outside of the dealership and needed to deliver bill of sale to a branch office for the credit union financing me. Laura was a great representative! Very friendly, established cell phone contact which really made communication a total breeze. I had lots of questions. She also really tried to make sure I was a very educated consumer, printing out the Carfax and other documents.Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the dealership was not willing to let an employee take an hour or 2 to drive the car around and reset the non functioning catalytic converter monitors to diagnose a potential major price risk factor. I ended up not buying the car because i couldnt take the risk on a $6-7,000 car. Unfortunate.

When I got there Laura was the first person to greet me. If you go there just ask for her and youll see she has a lot of energy. Carfax showed me all the info before I told her about the car, she confirmed everything I knew and her service was excellent and I had no problems at all. The only time she needed help from others was to help with the paperwork.

Been running around this town looking to get into a car for almost a month. Running around while getting the run around too. Nothing but a headache.Not at CHARLIE CHEAP CAR, gotta admit the name made me laugh and garnered my interest. I am under no illusions about my credit or ability to manage high monthly payments. The salesman Joseph was extremely helpful while giving no sense of pressure. I told hm what I wanted to pay and what down payment I could afford and he made it work. It was that simple. I choose the car I like and that was it. Not much haggling and zero pressure. Definitely not the stereotypical sales push. Matter of fact, a work emergency cut my visit short, so he completed everything after I left. Just had to come back to provide a few documents, sign the papers and pick up my ride.
