So I have a sweet tooth right, and I have to have something sweet on a daily basis. I saw a picture of the spots in “Insane milkshakes” and I just had to get one. The spot is @thedessertjunkiebakery at 15480 Annapolis Rd., Bowie M.D....So this spot has your dessert covered, and is affiliated with @baskettreats . These entities are a one stop shop. They Have gourmet treats, they do table artistry, Event decor, event planning, wedding planning, catering, baking, Chefs services and they even associate it with @bougieballons a Art Deco ballon service. The bakery has cupcakes, milkshakes, cakes and pies, Macaroons and cookies, dipped desserts, even a gluten free, and vegan options....Aite so this I what I got!! I started off with their insane triple chocolate milkshake (pictured with a chocolate cupcake, house made whip cream, a frosted Oreo chocolate doughnut, a snickers candy, chocolate sprinkles, chocolate fudge, and of course the thick chocolate milkshake that came in a glass mug you can keep $18). STAMP!! I finished their high quality shake, but couldn’t finish the donut & cupcake. A copped 6 of their cupcakes (all pictured $4.95 ea.) with flavors including; Banana pudding, Lemon, apple pie, gummy bear, chocolate,and red velvet. STAMP!! She must use a buttercream or something for the frosting because the frosting is LIKE THAT!! The cupcakes were also moist than a mug!! Lastly I copped there peach cobbler in a jar that was absolutely DELICIOUS!!...They provide excellent customer service, that establishment was clean, damn near spotless, parking was readily available. There is no online ordering, but, you can view their selections or order catering, and event planning etc… You have to experience this place. Oh boy the Banana Pudding milkshake was absolutely amazing here. I also got a Strawberry Crunch cupcake and it was spot on to the ice cream treat, would highly recommend getting a cupcake and milkshake for the full experience. There was also some cool looking jewelry inside the shop as well.

I’m not even a dessert person and these cupcakes are fire. We tried the snickerdoodle, strawberry crunch, banana pudding, and strawberry birthday cake. My kids also loved the marshmallow pops!! Definitely try this place also ask for a banana pudding milkshake

I have found my new dessert place! The cupcakes are amazing! You can tell each one is made with love and real ingredients, no artificial here. The perfect cake to icing ratio and the flavors are amazing! We were also able to snag the last banana pudding available that day and wow! This place is a must try! The owner’s mother is delightful with an amazing personality. The shop itself had my daughters in awe with the beautiful decor. As a small business owner myself, you can see all the love that this owner put in to her business and products! We will be back often and spreading the word of this amazing shop for sure!

Yummy! These are the best cupcakes Ive ever had. Theyre individually flavourful and worth the trip. My favorite is the lemon, strawberry crunch, and banana pudding. I ordered cupcakes and cake pops for my birthday party, and they were a hit. The customer service is Excellent!!

This bakery was amazing! The ambiance is so cute when you walk in. My son and I could not believe how they were able to capture all that flavor in one little cup! The cake was delicious, the icing was yummy, and the decor on the cupcake was really cute too. We really enjoyed the customer service as well. The owner wasnt there at the time, but her mother was there. I shared how proud I was of my children and she shared how proud she was of her daughter. It was a beautiful conversation. Small businesses are special for that one very reason...the importance of family. We purchased a cakepop for my daughter and planned to returned so she could enjoy the experience next time as well. You just got to try this bakery! We look forward to a milkshake on our next visit! Crossing our fingers hoping shell open one in Largo, MD.

Let me tell you something. I think I inhaled the cupcake. You can absolutely tell it was made with love and passion. Talented baker and a beautiful family. Most delicious cupcakes Ive had in the DMV. Seriously.

So good! Best cupcake I have ever had. These cakes are good on all fronts. Some places do well with the frosting or the cake, rarely both. Alexis’ cakes are so good and frosting is second to none. I had the banana cream cupcake and the strawberry short cake and they were both extraordinary. Apparently the make milkshakes here as well, I can’t wait to try it!!

This place is great. I went in for banana pudding and it was marvelous and moist. Loved it, and Im typically a picky eater. The lady was nice as well.

Ive driven through Main St. so many times and I never knew this place was there. So glad I finally found it because their cupcakes are delicious! I walked across this little hidden shop while I waited for my care to get detailed and really love it, its beautiful inside and the chocolate chip cupcake I had was really the best cupcake I have ever had. It was moist, not too sweet and the cookie on top was super chewy and the icing was fabulous. Writing this review makes me wanna stop by and get another one after work!

This is a hidden gem. The cupcakes are extraordinary, they have a special realness to them that most cupcakes lack... for ex. Instead of using cream cheese icing like mant on one of the cupcakes they actually used a thin cheesecake. They didnt take the easy way out and it was great.
