Absolute horrible customer service from Tabby the manger Andrea and Brain the district manger regarding one of our items. No communication between any of the staff! Place is disgusting inside. TVs on the floor, items that have been returned not cleaned out on show room floor, couches lines up as if storage unit, their own children running around the store. Absolutely unnecessary. They treat good customers like dirt I have never missed a payment, card has always been on file for them to take payments, just flat out zero accountability at this store location. This store shouldn’t be running w/these individuals. Tabby has expressed how being in the military is taking up a lot of time and isn’t in the store that much and Andrea has a hard time returning phone calls to customers.. For the best interest of Rent a center they should have someone go into that store and have a face lift because we have used rent a center through Utica NY and had no issues. This is a store problem with the staff they have running it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone in the area using this rent a center in Lauren’s SC ..
If I could give a 0 review I would. I do NOT have an account with this company, my husband does. They saved my credit card on file unknowing to myself after I paid a month for him. After they took money out of my account again two weeks ago I called and spoke to the “manager” Andrea who is a joke. I asked her to remove my card that I never authorized on the account and she stated that they would have to come get the appliance. Which I had just paid $85 on! I told her that my name was not on the account and that I wanted my card taken off and she needed to discuss with her customer the payment and automatic payment card. She stated that she would remove my card. Then today I was charged AGAIN! I am currently on the phone with corporate and will never do business with them again.
Absolutely the worse. I was buying a side by side fridge with ice maker the freezer went out then the fridge went out the month I was going to pay it off. They told me they would bring me a replacement till mine got fixed here we are two months later still no fridge. The fridge they brought is NOT what I am paying for plus the didnt even bring the bottom drawers. I asked about my original fridge and nobody can seem to figure out where it is at. I also got a stove from them within 2 mins of them leaving after delivery the stove does not work so I called they said they would find me one and a week later we are still waiting. So now I have no way of cooking for my children or grandson we either have to eat microwaveable things sandwiches or eat out. I cant afford to eat out every single night, not to mention they took a month payment out of my bank account without my permission and for things that dont work.
Absolutely never do business here or with this company! Several times I attempted to conduct business with them and they were always too busy to help me or even call me back! I even contacted the company, and basically they did nothing and barely apologized for such awful customer service! I will pay double before attempting business with them again! 😡
I stopped in at the Laurens location and spoke with the manager. She was super friendly and very professional! The atmosphere of the store was very upbeat! I felt wanted as a customer, she did very well matching what I was looking for, although it was a bit out of budget.
Make sure they do they check on the application. They would take your money and dont deliver when they say they would.

Rudest people ever, they dont even know how look at a drivers license to check name and say rude things HOW ARE THEY EVEN GETTING BUSINESS. After family member made payment online to obtain merchandise just to be treated with disrespect. And ghetto..NO PLACE TO ACT GHETTO . Hope corporate can fix this poor sales that are representing their business. But they are a reflection of the business. THEN NOBODY NEEDS THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOR. You want ghetto then go to the ghetto get merch. Kelly needs to GO!!!
I’ve had several rental agreements with Rent A Center and I never encountered a problem until today. I called because my payment is due today and I need to come in on Tuesday. I asked for Tabby. Blaine answered! She was beyond disrespectful and rude. She said that Tabby wouldn’t hold it. I asked why because I always call in if I’m going to be late. She yelled and she screamed at me. I’m a customer service manager and she would never work for me like this. Rent A Center can have this tv because I’m no longer doing business with them and they can thank Blaine or whatever her name is! Tabby, Andrea, and the others have always treated me with respect. As a matter of fact, they call to ask me if I need anything because they know that I’m going to pay. I hate to no longer do business with them but I won’t tolerate any type of disrespect from a new employee that doesn’t know me and should know better! Tabby doesn’t even allow this to go on!

My experience with Rent-A-Center was terrible I felt like I was discriminated they held me back from hours from my job they called me at the time that they supposed to deliver that I told me told me that they could not deliver and they told me that they could not deliver for false pretense reasons so I would not rent from them thank you

Brittany is so great she is so helpful every time i go to the store.The other girl i dont know her name she has givin me the wrong info dont really seem to be all there.Brittany is a get manger an will go above an beyond to help everyone with any question or problem they might have she is the reason i still deal with rent a center
Nothing in stock, several weeks to get them in hand. Furniture on display (for sale) was not clean. However staff was very friendly and thorough with trying to help.
The absolute WORST experience EVER!!!! Ive been discriminated against and would love to be contacted by corporate if possible!!!!!

Good service to start with. Then called them out to pick up the fridge i was renting and the send the GOOF TROOP to come get it, so after a hour of them trying to remove the fridge from my house i have gouges in my wood flooring, a scratched up and dented front door that dont even close right now. Then they put the fridge in their truck and didnt strap it done so when they left you heard the fridge slam on the floor of the truck. They will be receiving an unpleasant phone call in the morning!
