Nice organized place to shop.

I have had some positive experiences at this particular Walgreens, however its unfortunate that the negative experiences outweigh them. There are a few select employees who do seem to take their jobs seriously and work with a sense of pride, I wish I could recall their names and will pay attention next time I am there and edit this review to reflect that. This is a very busy pharmacy. Its in a central location of Lawrence, easy to get to by walking or public transportation. But because its so busy, it often feels like you are being ignored. And that may be true at times. Ive been in a huge line at the front checkout, with one cashier working while multiple other employees appear to be standing around chit chatting rather than opening a second register to help. My main gripe is in regards to the pharmacy. They are constantly understaffed and the wait can be very long. And even if u call ahead they rarely have your things ready on time. And they arent very polite, in general. Though some have been very helpful at times. It all depends on the day and what time u go there. There are sometimes homeless people outside asking for change, but whats really the harm in that? Ignore them if you dont want to donate any change. They are not ALL drug addicts. I know some of them and they are nice people, they are just human too. And if u dont like the homeless or pot holes in the lot, dont go to a pharmacy on the heart of Broadway. That whole area is run by the homeless. They are outside almost every establishment on the road, they are on the sides of the roads themselves. At intersections, up at your window. What else would u expect? Maybe Lawrence should have more resources for the homeless and it wouldnt be such an issue. Anyways, this Walgreens is just like any busy, city pharmacy.

Pharmacists and staff always very nice, very helpful. One of busiest pharmacy’s I’ve been to, and staff still takes time with every customer.

This store is great! The managers and employees are awesome and very helpful with the customers needs! Thankyou for being so helpful when my son needed a knee brace after his sprain. And thankyou for taking care of my son and I for our flu vaccines and being gentle with my son as he is so scared of needles! You are the best pharmacy around! Thanks for all your hard work and keeping the costumers coming back again and again! Im Walgreens #1 fan always!

The worst costumer service that I could ever receive in my life At the pharmacy. They should change all the people who work in the pharmacy specially that girl with the name Maria

Stop sending me e-mails and texts about a prescription the has NOT been ready for a week and a half. Also, one of the pharmacist should have some empathy and respect for patients who call about the status of a prescription and receive a very disrespectful response. You work for the patients...It is NOT the other way around!!!!!

Love the Sales and Selections in this Store! The Cashier Maria is totally awesome! All the Staff are extremely helpful and courteous everytime I go there! Keep up the good Work!

Un-accommodating

I cant even begin to explain the nightmare that the pharmacy drive through was. Not only did it take over 5 minutes for a teller to even acknowledge that we were there, it took another 10 minutes for them to get the medicine. After paying, we saw that the medications we not even for us, they gave us the wrong medicine and were extremely rude when trying to fix their own mistake.The parking lot is also horrible, filled with potholes. Avoid going here at all costs. Take the extra drive to Methuen where people are much nicer and the roads are better.

I just went 5:33 pm today, and the girl make me to wait 10 minutes unnecessary. I pay for print 2 pictures 2x2 and she need only hit the computer and printer it, but instead she attended to customers first, she doesn’t know to coordinate. I won’t go again.

If you want to do anything with pictures do NOT go here. I ordered a photo book at 11am and it says same day pick up. I chose to pick it up by 3:11 pm. I went by the store at 5pm and they hadnt even started on the book. The guy said that he didnt know how long it would take to be done but that I would receive an email. I called at 9 pm because I never received an email that it was done and the manager said she was sorry but that I could pick it up by 10am tomorrow. Mind you I was in the area only for the day and have a month old baby, I didnt want to make another trip the next day. So I cancelled my photo book and have decided to go elsewhere. It is ridiculous that this happened when I put in the order in the morning.

This Pharmacy, is good to find things on sale, for flu shots, candies, makeup and other things.

A lot of beggers that bother you the second you go in or out

They have a cuban manager that is the worse, he doesnt concentrate on the business itself.

They dont do anything about those drug addicts near the entrance.its annoying and baffling that this particular Walgreen lets them continue to loiter.
