Just called today because Metro has been incompetent in removing private off of my number. The woman I spoke to not only yelled at me but hung up on me twice. Refused to give me her ID number. 6:18 PM on this date. If you cant handle your job? Go flip burgers. Very angry.....

Avoid this store! Go to Roy, Ogden or SLC. I only post reviews when it is really good or really bad. This was really bad. I have been a pcs Metro customer for years I signed up in SLC. I went into this store to change phones. I tried to do it online but I got an error message saying my sim card was not right for the new phone. I went into this store on 7/21/20 and tried to get help the only employee there was more concerned about me staying behind the covid line than helping me. I explained what I was trying to do. I told her i needed a sim that would work with the new phone. She sold me a sim and I when home to try it. NO GOOD. I went to the Roy store and the employee told me that the online system was not working but she was able to help me. I didnt need a new sim my old one was fine. I returned to the Layton store to return the sim card i bought and was rudely told NO REFUNDS!! I explained the situation. She told me to get out of the store for insisting on a refund for the sim card i didnt need. Its only $10 dollars but dealing with the people in this store was a total waist of time and abuse. Dont go there!!
They are supposed to be open 10 am to 8 pm. I called from noon until 2 and nobody answered. I went to the store. The lights were on but the door was locked. I knocked and looked inside and left. Called customer service to file a complaint so the store called the police and said I was kicking their door. Really funny since theres cameras that show otherwise! I hate this store.
(Edit) That review was quite harsh, this place was half decent. I wish they would train their employees to not shout out very personal information in front of others. Not sure if they are trained now, but overall service wasnt half bad. They were new employees I beleive at the time so I give them some slack. If you are wanting to go in and half them cut your phone bill in half, they are great at doing that. Service could be better but you get what you pay for.
Switched over service and they did really well, super fast and good service. Ported over phone number quick and no issues whatsoever. No BS, and got a great deal. Happy to have switched and so far seems great.
This place is a joke and the girl they have working their is terrible. She was completely rude and claimed they couldnt sell me a sim card. Well I called all the others ones around and they were happy to help... Just a waste of time going to this metro pcs store...

Hire people that understand phones. Really this is my entire experience MetroPCS is there is a culture of incompetence. I bought a new Motorola and my Sim card did not work. After spending hours on the phone with a call center in India the tell me to go down to the store. I went down to the store and they tell me the UNLOCKED phone I bought from Amazon is locked. Instead of trying a new sim or getting there tech support on the phone they just lost a customer.
Horrible store and Service by staff and manager staff undertrained manager is sharp and unprofessionaland feel like a teenagers running that store they need to be trained better to help the customers with better attitude I will never go back to that store again or tell anybody to go to that location its horrible dont go there they need a new manager

There customer service is a joke! They treat people like garbage, and the phones are garbage! They charge you for warranty, and you never get a replacement phone. Save your money and go somewhere else
$15 upgrade fee?Also, if the door says 10am, be there at least 10 minutes early to set up, so youre ready to go at 10.Maybe leave earlier in bad weather.
