Waited 1 hr before I went in to get my RX. Waited in line for 20 min. When I got to the front the tech told me there was no RX for me l. I asked if she could check their voice mail and she said nothing was in there. I called the prescribing doctor and they told me they would call and call me back when they got a hold of them. So I got in line again and when I got to the front they told me that they just got the voice-mail and it will be 20 min. However, the prescribing doc told me they had talked to them directly and they are just now filling it. I dont mind waiting but dont lie please. Its disrespectful. Actually the wait is way too long I guess I mind both. Freaking joke of a pharmacy.
The store employees were great, but one of the pharmacy employees, was a B!t€h. Very rude to my 17year old daughter, and would only let her get 2 of the 5 prescriptions we needed. And the reason, because it was 10 min before the pharmacy was closing. This is not right.
The pharmacy staff is very professional and gave me important information about my prescription.
Always like going here for my meds and looking around. Always leave with something 😉
Exactly 4 hours and 38 minutes for my prescription??I never waited so long at CVS or WalmartNever going here again for prescriptions.Im in serious pain! Ive been coming here for the last 2 years. It just gets worse. This is the only place I have seen where they all take off for lunch for 1 and half hours. All at the same time.
Worst experience ever. For my 1st dose of the covid shot I waited 2 hours to get it even with an appointment. I was okay with that but now TODAY I had an appointment at 1pm and I get there at 1:04 and wait in line with my newborn baby just for the rude redhead to tell me that they don’t vaccinate after 1pm! Like really? It’s a couple of minutes after and they just took someone in for a vaccine and she rudely told me that I could come back after 2pm if I want.Like there is no compassion whatsoever. Not going back to this pharmacy.
Worst pharmacy to get anything refilled or called in! The drive thru is constantly backed up to the street and moves about as fast as molasses in January. If you go in they will just be as long doesn’t matter. I’ll get a refill be told it will be ready by a certain time, still show up hours after that tome just to give them extra time and they still seem confused as to what I’m even talking about after waiting behind 4 cars for 45 min he tells me it will take 15 min and just circle around a few times. I come back 5 hours later still the same long slow moving lane. I have never experienced such poor service. Definitely switching pharmacies. After 2 years of this I’m over it.
Worst pharmacy EVER!!! I took my prescription in on a Monday it didn’t get filled until Friday and even then was only partially filled. They gave me excuse after excuse as to why they couldn’t fill it including that my $40 dollar medication (price at any decent pharmacy) was going to be $600 dollars $200 at best. My doctor had to contact them multiple times before they finally said the reason for the delay and lies about the price was because they didn’t have the medication in stock and would have to order it. FINALLY after 5 days, multiple calls from myself and my doctor, and at least 3 visits to the pharmacy in person they filled half the prescription for more than double the price at any other pharmacy! Horrible customer service and incompetent greedy employees.
Waited 35 minutes for a flu shot even after making appointment.I should’ve read the reviews before coming here
Martin is the #1 best Walgreen’s employee. I was not having a good night and his sweet, funny personality made me smile. Thanks Martin!
Was given the wrong prescription. I took the pills for three weeks before I figured it out. When I took it back the pharmacist acted like it was my fault. Im still experiencing symptoms from taking the wrong pills and havent heard from the company about it at all.
Give them plenty of time to fill it and it still want filled. I waited a while for the prescription and while I waited I noticed that there wasn’t a person that came in that had a prescription that was ready. We all had to wait. When I finally got to talk to someone, they didn’t even know if they had the medication in stock let alone have it filled. Then they said it would take a min once they found it and I still waited a forever. The employees seemed to be doing their own thing and not working together. It was frustrating at the least the hours were nice. But frustrating how long it took and how they seemed to not be able to get anything ready in a decent amount of time
Been going to this place for dang near two decades at this point and wow its gotten terrible. The guy at the counter saying a 30 min wait to count pills and put into a bottle then bag turned into 70 mins before I got them.Switching to mail delivery prescription, never sitting around like this again.
Pharmacy wait is horrible if you’re picking up in the evening. I swear every time there’s a car that sits at the window while the pharmacist gets the prescription ready. Three cars in front of me and waiting an hour just to get up to the window. The people are nice but something has to change.
Was able to book and receive both of my Covid vaccine shots online at this location easily and the staff was exceptionally friendly face to face.
I have had it with this pharmacy!!! They have messed up my prescription, not once, not twice, BUT THREE TIMES!!! Today is the last straw. They almost sent me away with SOMEONE ELSES prescription!! On another occasion the pharmacist told me I can’t get my medicine when my doctor and my insurance both approved it! And they also have messed up the quantities of my medicine MULTIPLE TIMES!!!!! I don’t have one good thing to say about this Walgreens. DO NOT GO THERE YOU WILL REGRET IT !!!
My experience here was very impressive. I had to switch pharmacies due to my insurance and they were very helpful with getting meds transferred as well as getting new prescriptions that the other pharmacy did not include. They text when things are ready so you dont have to wonder...the best thing was the sincere helpfulness of the pharmacists. I want to make sure they get recognized!
They are very nice, but sometimes its hard to find someone to help you. They have very few employees except in the pharmacy.
I always have a good experience here. Their pharmacy and store are awesome. Thanks Layton Walgreens.
Wow. Wouldnt start refilling prescription because you thought we couldnt afford it? Do your job! Will definitely use ANOTHER pharmacy.
There are many good things about this place. Lots of good pharma techs. But if you get stuck with Aaron waiting on you, it will take twice as long as it should. He doesnt seem to know what hes doing. He left me at the counter for almost an hour because he took my RX, set it down in the back and lost it, and then asked why I didnt have my script. I was suffering from an injured leg, and waiting for 48 minutes while he figured out what he did with my stuff was unbearable! Also, you bottom out your car if youre not careful getting in. Not at all the entrances, but it always seems to be the only one you can access with the traffic flow. Sayin.
I stopped her this morning to buy some Neosporin.I grabbed the 1 oz It was priced about six dollars. We are driving through. I drove about an hr when I thought why was the total so much ? Saw the receipt the has charged me for the 10z. I called they said they have NEVER priced anything wrong and that has NEVER happened before. Apparently they are a perfect store. I was not going to turn back over 6$ but they next to get their stuff together. Probably over charged other people already. What an inconvenience they asked me to stop at a different store so they can fix their mistake.
Ashley the Pharmacist is by far the rudest pharmacist let alone person I’ve ever encountered. She is clearly a very unhappy person & hates her job. She has absolutely no interest of care in helping people. We have gotten our prescriptions from here for a while now, but will travel farther to have a pharmacist who actually cares.
What is wrong with the drive thru at this location?!?! Been waiting in line of 4 cars for almost an hour and still haven’t been helped. NEVER coming back!! BEWARE OF THIS DRIVE THRU.
This Walgreens really needs to get their stuff together. Their customer service is impossible to get a hold of a real person, and the management is not very nice here. One desk told me I could merge two of my accounts, and I had asked them multiple times on separate occasions. They told me that they had successfully merged them each time. They somehow had lost my insurance information, when I have been going here for almost a year now. I saw my address was still wrong, so I went up to the front to see if they could merge the accounts again. I told them the situation and the manager or whoever said it wasn’t possible to merge accounts at the store. I told him the people at the pharmacy said they had done that and could, and then he got very rude saying I probably just told them the wrong information and they weren’t doing anything wrong. It’s always a hassle and the wait lines are extremely long. Hopefully CVS has better customer service.
Kenny the pharm tech... rude and unable to perform duties. Alisha the cashier rude and incompetent as well. both stated the did not know who their managers where. Worst experience with a pharmacy ever. Heads up consumers. Save yourself the trouble and just go to Walmart.
Dont ever use this pharmacy. Most incompetent staff Ive ever dealt with. Coming from healthcare myself, its super sad that I have to do most of the work myself to get my medications filled. They have lied multiple times saying they dont have any active prescriptions and they actually did.
This pharmacy is the absolute WORST. I have been going here for over a year, and every single month I have issues with my prescriptions. I will go to pick up an Rx and they will tell me I am out of refills and I (as in me the patient) need to be the one to contact my doctor to get more. I am a type one diabetic for 18 years and I have never had more issues with a pharmacy ever in my whole life. They do nothing to be proactive for their patients. It is their job to call offices and make sure Rx have refills so the patient doesnt have to run into emergencies like I have multiple times this year. I have had to go to an urgent care on a Saturday just to be able to get my insulin refilled. The pharmacist had the audacity to tell me one time when I had to pay $300 dollars for my insulin out of pocket, that I should download the app... what a great solution. I am up to date on my appointments, no patient should have to do all that extra work to get their Rx. I never had had to do this EVER until I started going to this pharmacy. I work in a doctors office myself- you can get verbals for medications when its an emergency. So sick of this pharmacy. I have had to pay out of pocket for medications multiple times this year. No one ever go here. They suck. Its a pain in your behind! Get your S**T TOGETHER!!!
I dont usually post negative reviews, but since this has now happened to me twice in a row, I have to say something. Last week I dropped off a prescription in the late afternoon. It was a male who took my RX. He told me, this will be ready for you in 30 minutes. But I told him Ill pick it up in the morning before my surgery and just have it ready for me then.So the next morning rolls around, and I go in there at 8am to pick up my prescription. The lady at the front counter told me Oh it looks like they havent even started it yet. I was taken aback, but said can you put a rush on it? Im on my way to my surgery!! Her reply?? No. It will be ready in about 30 to 45 minutes. It was only TWO PILLS, and I was paying out of pocket. So no insurance was involved. The waiting area was empty. But it was still going to take them that long when I dropped off the prescription a FULL DAY AGO. I would have been less angry if they would have at least hurried and put it together for me and apologized, especially after telling them I was going to be late for my surgery now. Also I kept remembering that something similar happened to me several months ago at the same place. Both times the staff was awnry and seemed to be in bad moods or something. I get that, but I always manage to stay nice even on my bad days at work. Im just going to go to a different pharmacy from here on out. I would not recommend anyone go here.
Someone care to explain to me why I have been waiting 30 minutes for a simple antibiotic at the pharmacy? He said “just a couple minutes”. Unreal. It’s 11 at night and NOBODY ELSE IS HERE! The doctor sent the prescription at 9:45, so they have had PLENTY OF TIME!
Stay away from this pharmacy. They treated me very poorly today when I tried to get my daughters shots I wont be going here for anything in the future
My mother’s always went to Walgreens when I was younger, so of course it became my preferred pharmacy. I have always loved going to all of my previous locations over the years, however this is the worst location I have ever been to. Unbelievably slow, and the staff is not very friendly. I have constant problems getting my RX filled every single month, often the don’t have my Rx in stock, or they will take it upon themselves to not order my medication because they think its to expensive of a copay. They don’t even bother to ask me if I still want the medication. My doctor and my kids pediatricians are always on hold for long periods of time, like 15-20 minutes, often they don’t have time to continue waiting, they have other things to do. I’ve been coming to this location for almost 2 years and every month I get more and more frustrated, I finally decided to write my review of this place and I’m finally going to find another drive thru pharmacy.
We were told our prescription would be available any time after 3pm. I show up at 630pm & am told itll be another 5-10 mins. Why was I told anytime after 3pm if for whatever reason its still not available at 630pm? Plus, the customer service was lacking. I wasnt surprised to see all the other poor reviews for this place. Youd be smart to pay attention to all these poor reviews & take your business somewhere else.
Don’t use this pharmacy
The only thing I liked about this pharmacy was that it was a 24-hour pharmacy... then they changed the hours so that they werent open 24 hours. That was their only convenience. Putting up with the staff, who are overly rude more often than not, isnt even worth putting up with. They have to act as if youre inconveniencing them from very important busy work to fill your important Rxs. Super disappointed.
I just went there twice to pick up my prescription. Not only was I never informed about a deadline date to pick up my prescription I get there and am told they still have to fill it and to come back in 25 minutes. So, I come back they filled a prescription that I NO LONGER TAKE told me I have to wait another 30 minutes, so then, I informed them I already had waited this time and they told me to take my business elsewhere. So I did. I would seriously not reccomend filling your prescription or shopping here.
Despite all of the negative reviews, this is my favorite Walgreens to go to. I cant remember the name of the associate who helped me but I went in needing a solution for a nose that was dry and bleeding from being blown all the time while I had a cold. I interrupted what he was doing in the pharmacy and he genuinely helped me find the best solution. Some of you have too high of expectations for the pharmacy to cater to your idea of timely service because they are there to help all the customers, not just fill your prescription. Thank you Walgreens!
So, so, so slow. My wife stayed in line (2 cars ahead of us) and I wandered through the Lowe’s next door (knowing they could b slow) and 20 minutes later there were still 2 cars ahead of her. I’ve been going to Walgreens all my life but one year living in Layton has driven me to their competitor.
Whatever you do save your time and do not get your prescriptions here, they charge so much than any other pharmacy and they have technicians with no training handling medicines. We spent 2 hours telling the person at the counter we needed four medicines and she wrote every single one that get taken down (which took another 15 minutes) after about an hour and a half the other technician saw what was happening and proceeded to be behind the counter not helping the trainee. After all was said and done there was about 4 people waiting in the waiting room for hours before we arrived that already had scrips put in and filled. After being as patient as could be finally the pharmacist gets what we are saying and come to find out end up paying double what we paid at our old pharmacy!! I don’t write reviews but this is the seconds time this month where we have waited hours at this location and come away feeling defeated after spending so much time telling a pharmacy tech how to do their job.
Too busy talking politics than to get people their prescriptions.
I recently got bronchitis, and was prescribed antibiotics and a cough suppressant. The doctor had to personally, over the phone, call in my prescriptions several times, because they couldnt find it.It wasnt until the next day, after the doctor, insurance and I had called them many many times that they finally had my prescriptions. All I have to say is how thankful I am that I only needed medicine for bronchitis and not something serious.
What a Horrible place spent 3 hours in the ER brought a prescription over I was told 30 minutes went and ate then came back. Ended up being an hour and fifteen minutes to eat. Well it was not done with no phone call and because the insurance wouldnt cover it they took it upon themselves to not fill it. The cash price was 12 bucks seriously the girl was so ignorant and down right rude told me it would be 30 minutes again. So I sat down and the rudest voice ever the black girl says am I filling it or not? Im like um Im sitting down. I ended up dealing with my issues from the ER and left without the medication. What a Horrible night then to top it off a professional service worker was absolutely down right mean with a raised voice. When I called today the pharmacist didnt seem to care. I will never step foot in any walgreens for the rest of my life I have never been so mistreated from people working in the medical field. I am a certified medical assistant and have had some nursing classes Im not new to this field.
Pretty sure Im done filling prescriptions here. Id rather drive across or to another town. Always seems to be issues and a longer than expected wait.. Positive note,. The front staff are very friendly.
I was told on the phone by someone at the Bountiful Walgreens pharmacy that Layton and West Jordans pharmacy was open 24 hours. Turns out I made the trip for no reason. FYI for anyone who might need it, afaik its just West Jordan.
I used to frequent this Walgreens in Layton a lot. They had a great coupon double stacking program. But one that changed I stopped going to Walgreens and Rite Aid because they both change their programs. I previously found some great clearance here. But on every day home and Beauty Supplies, Walgreens really cant compete with Walmart and Target. This Walgreens is right down the street from a Target, so I would never buy things here that I could get over there for cheaper. The customer service here is great. What I would use the Walgreens for is this pharmacy is open at times a traditional Pharmacy is not.
I dont mind this pharmacy but this new girl gives me a weird vibe. I was having an issue with my debit card so I called my bank to give me money. However, she was laughing each time my card didnt work. I had money but card was having issues. Im already stressed having to buy medicine because of my disease. She just made my experience worst.
I will always go to Walgreens. They are the best pharmacy and always have great customer service
My daughter unfortunately contracted thrush. Doctor sent in for a prescription for thrush medicine. Came in the day of and the prescription wasnt in their system. Called the doctor, doctor says the prescription was sent. Went back the next day, they finally got the prescription but had none in stock. Was told to come back the following day. Came back the next day, they were still out of stock. The guy at the counter told me to call around and ask other pharmacies if they could fill the prescription but failed to tell me the name of the medication. Three days Ive wasted trying to get meds for my sick daughter. Never coming to Walgreens ever again.
Most of the store people seem friendly.Pharmacy doesnt answer the phone. The text alerts are a complete nuisance if they give you incorrect information. But if you actually need to get a RX quickly, or even that day, you might want to try another store, or brand of store.
The pharmacy here is terrible! Had to come here as it was after hours when the prescription was given. Being it was 930 pm I thought it would only take a few minutes to fill. When I got there the lady at the counter said they had just received the script and it would be about 15-20 minutes. After almost 30 minutes my prescription was done. When I went to pay they offered no explanation or information about the meds. When I asked I was told to go to another counter and wait for the pharmacist. As I stood there waiting again, I could see the reflection of the pharmacist in the window back around the counter standing there eating chips! Incredibly unprofessional!! Will never go there again!
So slow...... This is the flu season. Youd think theyd staff their pharmacy accordingly. Not the case ... 2 employees in the pharmacy. 10 people in the store and the drive through is backed up to the road. Employees have no sense of hustle and their attitudes are less than enthusiastic. This is the second night in a row Ive wasted 1 and a half in line at Walgreens. I will more than likely never visit this Walgreens again.
Pharmacy staff is great and always helpful and courteous. However, as others have mentioned, they have very slow service. Not sure that its technically the staffs fault though. They seem to be constantly under-staffed.
Took ONE HOUR after I got to Walgreens pharmacy to be handed my prescription. I was sent a text from Walgreens saying “prescription is ready for pickup” on multiple several different occasions and it took over an hour at the drive thru to get it because it wasn’t actually ready. Their customer service is AWFUL. I tried to ask them why this happens and they accused me of misreading the text and never once apologized for the wait. Tried to call theManager and again no apology just a bunch of reasons why it’s not done and how he hates that people use the text message system and never read the actual messages (which I did). Worth driving the extra couple of miles to a different Walgreens. Only nice person there is John. Avoid the rest.
Jordan was the best. He moved to another store. The new pharmacist James seems pretty good so far.
You need to change your schedule on google since your no longer open 24 hours to fill prescriptions. Ive yet to see a Walgreens that has good reviews. Customer service sucks. I can see why CVS is putting locations right across the street from yours. They just got mine and my familys business. I will pass the message to everyone I know. I hope your profit margins do as good as your customer service. #worsestoreever
The trashy tattooed kid in the pharmacy told me he would have my car towed after NOT helping me. No other side to the story. The Pharmasist (old lady with grey hair and a snobby attitude) was less, but also unprofessional. AVOID! not worth the headach.
Great customer service! I feel like I always see new people there every month, but they are always fast and friendly, no matter who helps me.
I like coming here simply because its close to my house and they have a drive through for prescription drop off and pick up but there is usually a long line.
My review about Jeremy was removed WHY? Accused my Wife of fraud for printed coupons, we walked in on 8/3/18 around 11:30 pm seen he is still employed there so we told the cashier as long as he is here we will never shop here again... HERE IS MY ORIGINAL REMOVED REVIEW! Bad bad experience here on 3/16/2018, Wife has been doing couponing here for 3 years but try to avoid Jeremy on the night shift he causes problems the other cashier is very nice and we like her. Tonight was a big time problem!! We walked in, my wife does her thing I walk away and look for deals. Soon I hear IC3, I thought oh wife is done? Nope confused walk to the front she is not there, just an alert for the Manager to come to the front. They watched and waited for us to shop for nearly an hour, then time to confront my wife at the counter. I stood in the background because I do not like shopping. I hear something is not okay, Jeremy shows up, accusing my wife of using fake coupons. That means fraud!! I was not happy. Things got crazy after talking to my wife in the car, they were talking about her after she left the store. I told her about this, we went back in and then a big argument accusing my wife for using fake coupons, that means they are accusing us of fraud. I will call a Lawyer
No matter what time day or night (its open 24 hours), there service is slow, customer service is lacking, incompetence is rampant.went in to pick up 2 RX that said was ready. One was ready, the other was out of stock...why couldnt they let me know. This was the 3rd time coming in to pick up these meds. Have waited a total of almost 3 hours. They have 2 drive up lines. Only one is ever open even at peak times. I am at the end of a line of 7 cars. Almost into the street blocking traffic.... And one lane open? Why not more staff???? Ridiculous!!!!!! Am looking for another pharmacy!
I have never had anything but a wonderful experience with this pharmacy. They have filled emergency prescriptions for me from a phone call and me showing up 5 minutes later. My daughter has asthma, and when she needs a new inhaler... she needs it now. Sometimes their drive through has quite a long wait, but I think thats just because they are helping people inside as well as outside at the same time.Great pharmacy! Highly recommend!
Gave me quick & great service & filled my Rx fast. They were very polite & seem to care about the customer.
I used the app to refill a prescription and received a text it was available. Pulled up and there was nobody in the drive thru. I still sat there for about five minutes while two of the four people in the pharmacy looked at a box of dog biscuits. When they finally decided to acknowledge me they told me that it had submitted to a location 35 miles away. They said they could get it transferred over and it would take about an hour to fill as they were very busy. Apparently the dog biscuits were an all hands on deck situation. When I still hadnt heard anything the next day I called and complained and they finally did it 24 hours later. This location used to have great service but the newer younger employees are more worried about socializing and their phones than they are about doing their job.
I went there to pick up three new medications that I’ve never been on a steroid a cough surpressant and a antibiotic I was not given a consultation even after I inquired about the usage of the medicine! The paper tht was attached to the medicin had no indication which medicine was which I had to google all of them! The tec tried to ask the pharmacist and he basically told him the instructions were on the bag!
The pharmacist and staff are very friendly and very fast and they help me with all my needs very respectfully.
Whenever trying to call you’re on hold for over 10 minutes. And you get ignored when you’re in the drive through. They are not efficient!
0 star, went to grab my prescription this morning dropped it off last night just broke a tooth bad enough they had to pull it so they gave me a couple pain pills to help with the recovery, now to the problem i have bad degenerate disc disease, witch iv had several back surgerys over. the latest on being both legs, to the point i do get a set number of pain pills for all the previous problems as i went to pick up my 15 pills for my tooth pulling and they straight treated me like i was some short of druggie trying to con the system some how causing a seen in front of people, i tried explaining why i was getting a couple more, but they wouldnt give me the time of day and completely disrespected me! none the less i will never being going back to them, i know that this one complaint will never make a difference but i felt it needed to be shared
The gentleman thats leaving the reviews on his wife and the problems are having using coupons please come in and see me. My name is Robyn i am in MGMT at Layton Walgreens. I look forward to speaking with you or anyone who feels like they didnt get an excellent customer experience. Thank you!!!
James was filled a prescription and asked is my doctor in Payson. I said yes. He asked if I worked down there, I said no. He asked is this your PCP. I said yes. He made a snide remark, not a question. He said, thats a long drive to go to a doctor.I said yep. He asked again if I work down there. I said no I already answered your question. He stopped and handed me back my paper script and told me to fill somewhere else. I was beside m self. I got angry and told him he doesnt need to know where I work. He said he did and it was his job to know that. I asked again because I could not believe what I was hearing, you need to know where I work, he said no, I just need to know why you are going to Payson to your PCP. I told him it was none of his business. He said well I dont need to fill your script. I said, OMG look up my account I have been a customer here for 4 years and filled this every month with out any problem. At that point I was so upset and angry that I had been treated the way I was. James did not need to know my place of employment, does he? Is this the way Walgreens treats there customers? I am in healthcare and know what pharmacist can ask and cannot. Then to refuse to fill even after I gave him the answer to his question seems like he is treating customers very poorly. He is not a MD. He is NOT entitled information like the place of my employment or why I CHOOSE to drive to Payson for my PCP. He is the most unprofessional, rude, ignorant pharmacist i have EVER met. I will take my bussiness elsewhere. I also am going to look into legal action as I was definatly discriminated against and treated unfair. I know if I had walked in wearing my scubs I would have been treated the same as I usually do. I came right before bed wearing lounge wear. I have to wonder why this time I was treated different?
Call their pharmacy if you wan to wait for an hour on the phone and be hung up on twice. I might say I get it if we were talking about a minimum wage earning desk clerk, but a certain degree of professionalism should be in order when youre dealing with pharmacists & techs.
Extremely slow, I mean EXTREMELY slow. The only thing missing is the girls behind the pharmacy counter and drive thru need bubble gum to smack and blow bubbles while they twirl their hair with a finger.CVS is my new go to pharmacy. Fast, accurate and they do it with a smile!
This location is filthy. The parking lot was covered in garbage and cigarette butts. I realize the employees arent making the mess, its us the customers, but they need to hire someone to keep it clean. There was a large garbage pile near the recharge station and just trash everywhere.
The pharmacist helped me find a temporary dental filling and even recommended a dentist, which is a huge help for an out of towner.
I love this place.
The service of the pharmacy here was wretched. The man working the front of the pharmacy was actively trying to avoid filling customers perscriptions by bringing up that they may or may not cover there insurance or their insurance may not cover them. Not checking on his end. And leaving it to the potential customers.Furthermore he didnt check on the sent in perscriptions. I had asked if he received the perscription twice in 45 minutes. He made me call the doctors office to have me confirm they sent it. Then after standing in line a 3rd time and making him check. He found the perscription.I had him go help his colleges get the meds ready as my son had been waiting in the car with him mom.A total of 1 hour and 33 minutes to get my sons medication. That should have only took 15 minutes.
Im super upset!!! We tried REFILLING a RX and the insurance needed a new prior authorization, like they do every year. The Pharmacy said they called the Dr and insurance to get it approved. They didnt contact either of them. This medication is for a life threatening condition. We had to pay cash..... $10.00 a tablet. I was a pharmacy technician for years. We never treated our patients like this!!!
Right next to our hotel! Great location!
We asked an employee a simple question. Agirl named Annalese said im off tbe clock i cannot help you, they told us not to engage with customers. I wasnt satisfied with our visit. I understand when your off the clock but when you are cleaning up and straightening things. Id assume i can ask you a question.
Ive used Walgreens for years, and have for a few years had a controlled substance prescription. Many times, Ive been advised by their staff to call ahead, to be sure that they have it in stock. So, I called today, and was told that she didnt know if they had it. Id been inquiring about the cash prices for a few prescriptions, and she told me that the others I was asking about were in stock, but this particular one she didnt know. I decided not to press it, even though I felt that I was being blown off, because they usually have it. But, when I went there, lo and behold, they didnt.Ive had several not so good experiences at this store in the last couple of months, since moving here, and this was the proverbial straw. Ill be doing business elsewhere, from now, on.
My baby has been waiting for her medication for over 2 days!!!! Every time we go and ask if it’s ready they reply with give us 45 more mins.... we come back and it’s the same answer!!!! If your child is sick and in need of medicine plz don’t waste your time!!!
The worst. I am still on hold with them almost 25 minute wait after sitting in the drive through for half hour.
You shouldnt be in a hurry when you come here, its pretty slow no matter what time you show up.
Excellent staff but the wait was much longer than I expected.
Decent place, if you want to get things quick and easy.
98% of the time, am or pm the pharmacy is absolutely terrible. Customer service is a term they do not understand. You can be first in line at drive thru and be totally ignored for up to 10min while that person busy themselves with the computer without even acknowledging your presence . Inside is usually little better while 1 or 2 people scurry around. Have stood in line up to 40 minutes to drop off an rx. Management is either unable to make changes or remains clueless even after complaints. If you think time of day makes a difference, not so much.
This place was busy all day at the pharmacy. I had to come back 3 times and took me 6 hours to get some eye drops filled for pink eye. Everytime there have been at least 7 people in line for the pharmacy. Outside at the drive thru and inside the store even at 10 pm. The pharmacy people are so slow today. This is the second or 3rd time Ive had this exact experience with this pharmacy. Plz get your meds and rx filled somewhere else.
Constantly gives me the wrong prescription? I’ve been getting prescriptions fill for year and this is the only pharmacy to give me the wrong prescription twice!! Is that even legal??
Review is for the pharmacy only. They are desperately understaffed, as exhibited by the 6 cars waiting in the drive up line and 5 or 6 people waiting in line inside. When we called to check status of the prescription earlier today they said they had about 50 to fill in front of ours. Been waiting in line 20 minutes and still not at the counter. Take your meds elsewhere!
The pharmacy at this walgreens is a joke and the associates are rude. Shouldnt take 3 hours to fill 2 prescriptions..
Usually a good experience. The pharmacist is always very helpful. The rest of the workers are hit and miss with helpfulness.
Poor customer service! Go to Clinton Walgreens if possible, way better there!
Seriously the SLOWEST Walgreens Ive ever been to. I moved to Layton so I go here but every single time Ive gone through the drive thru just to pick up a prescription, I wait in line anywhere from 30mins-1 1/2hrs!!!! Seriously couldnt be worse. Ive started driving either to Kaysville or Riverdale because the Layton location is so terrible.
The pharmacy there is a circus show. Make sure to verify your info cause they will just put it under someone else. Even then like me I verified and still went under someone else. BE VERY CAUTIOUS ABOUT GOING HERE
The pharmacy is absolutely terrible. We went here as it was near the hospital to drop of a prescription referral for our sick child instead of our usual Syracuse location and just horrible customer service, huge wait lines and a really not helpful woman behind the counter basically just kept telling everyone there where errors and not helping anyone so everyone just kept leaving without anything accomplished. Just horrible. Take the extra drive to the Syracuse location.
Worst pharmacy experience Ive ever had. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait and waited over an hour (apparently you have to get back in line when youre waiting for them to fill your prescription Ive never been told that one before!). Then the cost was double what I was told it would be. No intention to ever go back and would not recommend.
The worst customer service ever. I will never fill a prescription there again. I had to drive from Clearfield to Kaysville to pick up a prescription. The Kaysville worker was very rude and wouldnt even let me talk to see what I needed to do to get this medication filled. She called the Layton store to see if they had it in stock. She wouldnt asked the Layton store if they could get it ready for me. I drive up to Layton and go inside. One lady is at the window and one lady was on the phone. There was one more lady playing with her cell phone case while talking to the other lady at the window. Three total workers sitting there and two of them look at me and give me a stare that they are looking at me but both of them look away not even acknowledging that I was there. It took at least five minutes to get anyone to say anything to me. Then the store manager walked back there and didnt ask me if I was being helped either. I was so annoyed. I waited for 45 minutes inside the store then went outside and waited another 15 minutes in the drive thru. When someone finally came to the window, she tells me that the medication cant be picked up for a few more days. I told her, you couldnt tell me that over an hour ago. What a wasted day!
The pharmacy is terrible! I waited 45 minutes for my prescription to be ready. Its the third time Ive gotten a prescription from them but Id rather go elsewhere and get what I need for half of the amount of time.
This pharmacy is the worst! They are very slow, and when you finally get to talk to someone they are rude and ignorant. Not willing to help at all. After giving them multiple chances, Ive decided to take my business else where. I would not recommend them.
They don’t even answer the phone
Pharmacy is no lonver 24 hours yet the building shows it. On their window it says 24 hours/ 8-12.
